Zhong Yue praised while the Panhu monarch spirit opened its three mouths, unleashed an unheard soundwave that sent the ancient ship rolling around out from the Void World!

  No! This is not Mo Yin’s style!

  Zhong Yue poured all his efforts into controlling the ship, the altars laid silently beneath them and with an explosion, the thousand winged ancient ship landed right onto the altar.

  This is Consort Tian Si’s doings! They’ve teamed up against us!

  Chapter 1098: Five Monarchs' Ambush |

  Consort Tian Si and Mo Yin both had different styles; with the Almanac of Fate and his overwhelming intelligence, Mo Yin excelled in planning, formation organizing and the altering of fate. He was a master strategist. He led his army in two different styles, one straight forward and the other conniving, making him a formidable foe. Even if he lost, he would still be able to retreat with his men safely.

  Consort Tian Si, on the other hand, was different.

  She possessed the Almanac of Karma, manipulating karma, creating chaos throughout the process. Unlike Mo Yin, she was not a good commander, but she was unrivaled in setting up plans and schemes, each connected to one another, leaving no gaps untouched.

  The 19 altars were most likely her doing; blocking off the road with the altars, sealing the dimensions and forcing Zhong Yue to travel through the Void World.

  But this was what she wanted from the start, she needed Zhong Yue to enter the Void World, where she had a Panhu monarch spirit ambush them inside and drag them into the encirclement she set up!

  With all his attention on Mo Yin, Zhong Yue wouldn’t be expecting Consort Tian Si; the alliance between the two great strategists had Zhong Yue cornered!

  Just as the thousand winged ancient ship finally managed to regain its balance, at the edge of the altar rose a massive head, with one after another light wheels shining as brightly as the galaxy behind the head!

  From these spinning light wheels sounded out calm and thick Dao voices that rumbled across the area as if it were worship for living beings!

  Another monarch spirit from Panhu Clan shown up!

  And this was just one of its heads, its remaining two heads appeared at both sides of the altar, both also with five galaxies like light wheels behind!

  At the same time, the air above the Void World split apart as the Panhu monarch spirit that slammed the ancient ship out from the realm reached its heads in, the three gigantic heads also had light wheels behind!

  Panhu Clan, an ancient sovereign clan that stood on the same tier as the Fuxi Celestial Race, their Heavenly Monarchs’ monarch spirits were all terrifyingly powerful that the dimension trembled before their presence. The two monarch spirits were about to close the encirclement and trap Zhong Yue and his men at the altar!

  “Men!”

  Zhong Yue shouted, Fu Qizhi and the others aided Hundun Yu in activating the Fusang Divine Tree, Yin Fanxuan and the other Yinkang Clan’s men activated the Heavenly Suppression River Cauldron, the others activated the remaining two monarch weapons and attacked the Panhu Clan’s monarch spirit that was standing beside the altar!

  Following behind the attacks was the ancient ship, sailing right on the only way out forcefully!

  With the monarch spirit blocking off this path, they had no choice but to force their way out!

  The cauldron slammed against Panhu monarch spirit’s hands, unleashing a loud noise as a Heavenly River gushed out from the cauldron and slammed downwards as they attempted to suppress the monarch spirit’s heads.

  The Fusang Divine Tree, on the other hand, swung towards the remaining head, which roared and emitted a soundwave preventing the tree from falling downwards as if was stunned right in the air!

  Seven Paths Reincarnation!

  Seven light wheels shone behind Zhong Yue’s head, enveloping everyone into the seven light wheels.

  A second before their palms collided, along with the ancient ship, everyone onboard vanished without a sign.

  The two monarch spirits’ palms slammed onto each other and in just a split second, the six heads roared towards six directions, trembling the Nether greatly, but the ancient ship remained hidden.

  Seeing this, the two monarch spirits started diving downwards, entering the 17th level from Nether, where there was nothing, and of course, no sign of Zhong Yue.

  The monarch spirits continued diving downwards, entering the 16th level, then the 15th and 14th, all the way to the bottom and into reality. They both exchanged a glance.

  All the way down, they found no traces of Zhong Yue or the ancient ship at all.

  This was impossible!

  The ship may be swift and quick but no matter how quick it sailed, there was no way it could outrun the two monarch spirits given Zhong Yue’s current strength, let alone with so many soldiers with him!

  But just as the monarch spirits left Nether, the ancient ship emerged from the shadows!

  “Space Dao?”

  The two monarch spirits raised their heads and they saw the light piercing through the Dark Domain. One of the two monarchs said, “Is that the Seven Paths Reincarnation?”

  Back then, Zhong Yue activated the Space Secret Realm in the Seven Paths Reincarnation to escape; when the monarch spirits roared to force Zhong Yue out, Zhong Yue was already gone.

  After cultivating the Space Secret Realm, Zhong Yue was capable of traveling between dimensions freely as he wished. There was no way the two monarch spirits were able to catch up to them, they may be quick, when they traveled between the dimensions, they were still slower than Zhong Yue.

  When they descended on reality, Zhong Yue had already made a round and left after entering Nether.

  “Our arts are all outdated compared to the future.”

  The two monarch spirits praised but that did not stop them from giving chase. At a steady pace, they tailed behind Zhong Yue and showed little concern to the fact that Zhong Yue had already gone out of sight.

  The ancient ship sailed through the tunnel at extreme speed and on the bow, Zhong Yue’s heart sank to the bottom for he only saw two monarch spirits but there were five of them.

  And if there were only two of them at the entrance, then the rest would be either in the middle of the tunnel or the exit!

  Consort Tian Si’s arrangements left no stones unturned! She has got to be intentionally setting up the 19 altars to misguide me into thinking that she summoned the five monarch spirits from the Void World. But in truth, she left 2 monarch spirits there, opened up a path so that I would enter the net she placed and trap myself in her net!

  And at the next moment, another altar showed up!

  Seconds later, the 17th, 16th, and the other level dimensions all emerged a bloodied altar!

  Zhong Yue, however, ignored them. Instead of stopping, Zhong Yue charged right past the altars at full speed!

  “Mister Mo, is this appropriate?”

  Mo Yin and Pan Ji both stood beside an altar as they watched the countless Panhu Clan’s members pray beside another altar while some other gods sent prisoners up to the stage and prepared for the summoning.

  Beside Mo Yin was a lady donned in a colorful dress, “I suppose King Yi will find himself struggling to survive from the five monarch spirits and my traps. Heh, but aren’t we being too inappropriate?”

  Mo Yin replied, “On the battlefield, any move that could bring us victory is a good move. Fortunately for us, Consort Tian Si is with us this time or we wouldn’t be able to capture King Yi. He thinks that I will ambush him, but little did he know that he is dealing with Consort Tian Si this time! He will definitely will fall into our ambush. The chances of survival will be slim for him!”

  Consort Tian Si blinked and giggled, “He’s in our grasp now. I believe the 5th monarch spirit is about to descend?”

  Pan Ji immediately ordered, “Start the blood ritual!”

  On the fifth altar, the Panhu Clan’s gods raised their weapons, decapitated the prisoners, heads rolled all over
the altar, blood gushed out and the splattering blood created alluring totem patterns on the massive altar.

  A crimson light shot towards the skies and pierced into the void.

  After some time, an intimidating presence descended as the Void World split apart, a gigantic monarch spirt trailed after the blood ritual and heeded the summon!

  “Ancestors, please aid us in killing King Yi and his men!” Pan Ji and the other Panhu’s members prayed towards the monarch spirit.

  “Easy!” smiled the Panhu monarch spirit.

  At the same time, the ancient ship arrived at the altar at the center of the tunnel and just as Zhong Yue was about to charge through the tunnel in one go, altars emerged at the back of the ship as two monarch spirits skipped through the 18 level dimensions and stopped right behind them.

  Another two more monarch spirits!

  Apart from that, they both blocked off the connection between the real world and the 18 level dimensions, cut off Zhong Yue and behind them were the earlier two monarch spirits that were chasing after them!

  “Men, full might into the Fusang Divine Tree!”

  Zhong Yue shouted and immediately, the 22 Imperial Emperors, along with Old Man Xuan and Qi, channeled all their strength into the divine tree, as for Yinkang Navy and the Star Torrent Fortress’ soldiers also contributed their energy!

  The tree’s might grew rapidly, bathed in chaotic Qi and fire, spread out monarch level Daos so condensed that they turned into burning suns that circled around the tree before slamming towards the two monarch spirits!

  “Chaotic Qi? You possess such an item?”

  The two monarch spirits were surprised but they were both well aware of the incoming attack, they both slammed their palms towards the tree and the attacks created an impact, shattering the dimension and the suns exploded before the terrifying might!

  The two monarch spirits lost their balance right away, but the 22 Imperial Emperors suffered different degree injuries. Those weaker, like the Creators and Deity Emperors, were heavily injured.

  Zhong Yue did not channel any energy into the tree, hence, he escaping from the impact. He was controlling the ancient ship, dashing past the two monarch spirits, only to find himself stuck in between them once they regained their balance and sent their light wheels at ship!

  With a battle cry, Zhong Yue raised the innate divine sabers, grew out another 11 arms, each holding onto a saber and slashed towards the light wheels of the monarch spirits.

  These light wheels were all the projection of the monarch spirits’ Yuan Shen Secret Realms, if he did not do anything to stop these light wheels, they would all be pulled into the monarch spirits’ secret realms and that would endanger them greatly!

  Eleven sabers swung about in the air, cutting the light wheels apart!

  It all happened quickly and Zhong Yue did not pull this off without paying for the consequences, blood started gushing out from his body. Yet again, Zhong Yue swung the second, third, fourth time….

  All Panhu had three heads and two monarch spirits, giving them a total of 30 secret realms and 30 light wheels!

  With 30 strikes, Zhong Yue split apart 30 light wheels and there was no longer a part of his body in good condition, his skin had disintegrated, his flesh fell apart and the ship’s speed decreased because of this.

  The two monarch spirits reached toward the ancient ship and that was when seven light wheels erupted from the ancient ship and disappeared from their sight.

  “Oh no, you aren’t going to escape this time!”

  A burst of laughter burst out as the fifth Panhu monarch spirit revealed himself at the exit of the tunnel, fingers spread out and endless monarch Daos turned into a web that covered the entire exit.

  With a ripple, the ancient ship was glued onto the web like a fly that flew into a spider’s web!

  Chapter 1099: Fightning Monarch |

  With another battle cry, Zhong Yue cast the divine saber and barraged his attacks down at the huge net weaved from the great monarch’s Dao patterns. The monarch’s Dao patterns were cleaved open and the thousand winged ancient ship was able to move again. It sped out like a hurl of lightning!

  The monarch spirit was surprised, his three heads started chanting Dao voices and the dimensions turned viscous. The dimensions had no particles in them and only turned viscous because the monarch’s Dao patterns filled in the space and made it harder for the ship to move!

  “What a wondrous skill.”

  Any of these five monarch spirits was much stronger than the Huangting Clan’s monarch spirit. Each and every spirit had their own specialty. Even Zhong Yue, who was said to be the strongest of his generation, was just like a baby carrot when compared to these monarchs who suppressed everyone during their reigns.

  At the back, the other four monarch spirits were rushing in to form an encirclement. But suddenly, the dimensions around the ancient ship started rippling and expanding.

  The fifth monarch spirit exclaimed softly in surprise. He reached a hand toward the ancient ship and saw the ship flying toward his palm. Then, just seconds before it reached his hand, the ancient ship rammed through the layers of dimensions and entered the Void World.

  “Don’t move!” Mo Yin quickly shouted.

  But the fifth monarch spirit had already lunged out and entered the Void World. Mo Yin’s face changed drastically and he sighed, “King Yi has escaped…”

  Pan Ji was puzzled at his statement. And suddenly, the ancient ship reappeared again, it warped and sailed out of the Dark Domain. Whereas on the back, the fifth monarch spirit was chasing closely behind but was a fine line away from catching the ancient ship.

  The ancient ship sailed in the layers of dimensions evading the five monarch spirits. When the fifth monarch spirit chased after it in the Void World, an opening was made as he no longer blocked the Dark Domain’s pathway. It was the only hope for Zhong Yue to escape, a golden opportunity and a fleeting chance.

  In the attainments of Space, Zhong Yue didn’t dare to say he was the best to have ever existed in the universe. But he could safely claim that he was better than the Panhu monarchs. As long as the fifth monarch spirit left his spot, Zhong Yue would be able to seize that fleeting chance!

  Behind, five monarch spirits were in their four-legged dragon body Panhu form. They were galloping as they chased after the ancient ship. But as long as it had escaped from the encirclement, they would not be able to catch up to its speed anymore.

  On the ancient ship, Zhong Yue looked below at Mo Yin and Consort Tian Si with a smile on his face while they were looking up at him with regret.

  Pan Ji was already summoning his clansmen to keep the altars. Clearly, their failure to catch Zhong Yue was also a huge blow on him.

  All of a sudden, Zhong Yue’s face changed slightly and he exclaimed quietly in shock, “That Panhu lady…”

  Yin Fanxuan, Jin Hexi, and the other ladies heard him and they quickly turned around only to find Zhong Yue murmuring and staring blankly as if he had lost his soul.

  “Darling, what’s with that Panhu lady?” Yin Fanxuan was grinding her teeth as she asked, “When did you have another Panhu darling?”

  Zhong Yue’s facial expression was changing continuously and suddenly, he leaped out of the thousand winged ancient ship. He said quickly, “I must bring that Panhu lady. Darlings, leave first without me!”

  The ladies were enraged, “You really have something going on with that Panhu lady! You want to bring her with us!?”

  Just as Yin Fanxuan and Jin Hexi were about to rush out of the ship, Zhong Yue dipped a finger on his forehead and shouted, “[Immortal Divine Psyche]! Speed——!”

  The ancient ship then immediately bolted out toward the Heaven Breaching Fortress.

  Zhong Yue turned around and saw the five Panhu monarch spirits coming at him. His body swayed and seven light wheels revolved behind his head while he suddenly disappeared from the scene.

  “Why didn’t King Yi lea
ve and turn back?”

  Mo Yin, Consort Tian Si, and the rest were shocked. No one would be able to stop Zhong Yue if he intended to leave. The five monarch spirits wouldn’t be able to last much longer before they would have to return to the Void World. Furthermore, the ancient ship’s speed was faster than them, the monarch spirits couldn’t catch up to it either.

  Yet, Zhong Yue had left the ancient ship and turned back around. This was simply asking to die!

  The heavenly eyes opened on the five monarch spirits and the divine lights cut through the layers of dimensions. They were searching around for Zhong Yue’s position.

  Although far inferior to the Fuxi’s divine third eye, the Panhu Clan’s divine third eye wasn’t a joke either. Under their gazes, the layers of dimensions turned transparent and were clearly seen.

  “Not here?”

  The five monarch spirits exclaimed in surprise and spread out in different directions. They were searching around with the divine third eyes and even descended on the planets, trying to see if Zhong Yue was hiding in those planets.

  Suddenly, one of the monarch spirits unintentionally looked into the Void World and smiled, “So you are here in the Void World.”

  The other monarchs looked up into the Void World and were all feeling surprised, they laughed, “What a naughty child, he is actually hiding in our caves. Fine, let’s handle him in the Void World.”

  The five monarch spirits flew up and entered the Void World. Just as they entered, bizarre-looking monsters that looked like heads full of limbs and faces swarmed at them!

  “What happened in the Void World during our slumber? Where did the monsters come from?”

  The five monarch spirits were shocked and quickly warded off the monsters. The Soul Eating Beasts had no physical bodies, they were made of pure spirits. The faces were not theirs either. Those faces belonged to the spirits they devoured.

  The Soul Eating Beasts were incredibly strong and outnumbered them. The five monarch spirits were still able to hold their ground initially, but when more Soul Eating Beasts were swarming in, they were soon outnumbered!
