The deeper he swam, the greater the pressure grew, and Zhong Yue had to open all six secret realms to resist the pressure. But the longer he swam, the deeper his understandings in the movements became as well.

Every movement was a presentation of Dao, achieve it and one would be able to evade all skills from hitting him. However, Zhong Yue’s comprehension would take thousands of years to reach that stage.

Fortunately, he had the incomplete [Dao Que Dragon Snake Art], and he was able to refer to it to speed up the learning process.

He was swimming in the star ocean with the innate Daos floating around him like snakes. Zhong Yue swam toward them and played with the Daos while meticulously studying them.

To him, this place was much safer than the Quasi Star Region. After all, it was a complete innate sacred ground here and one of the Fuxi Clan’s ancestral grounds. Although it wasn’t really like back at home to him, it didn’t pose much danger to him either.

However, to the other races, this was definitely a precarious zone. They might not even be able to move or even die!

The Huaxu’s star ocean didn’t only have one Innate Kui Water Dao. At some point, Zhong Yue could even see hundreds of them floating or swimming casually like snakes around him.

He followed the innate Daos and swam toward the deep ocean while studying their abstrusities. After a long time, he found an altar formed naturally in front of him. The Daos were gathered around the altar, waltzing and surrounding it.

Zhong Yue saw an innate mortal body on the altar’s center. She was a giant with a human body and a snake tail. Her tail was coiled together as she ‘sat’ on the center, but she emanated no air around her.

Suddenly, Zhong Yue could feel his bloodline boiling in his veins. His Huaxu divine blood was trembling in resonance with the innate god on the altar.

  She was his ancestor.

The grand ancestor of the human race, Fuxi Clan, and Yanzi Clan, the mother of their ancestors.

  Hua Xu.

  Goddess Hua Xu.

The meeting between Hua Xu and Lei Zhe gave birth to Great Sui. Great Sui created the totem pattern cultivation system and gave birth to Fuxi, and the Fuxi was sealed to become the human.

Zhong Yue looked up at the stalwart figure. He couldn’t feel anything coming from Goddess Hua Xu, couldn’t tell if she was alive or dead. But the innate Daos of the star ocean were surrounding the altar and resonating with his Huaxu bloodline.

“Is this the goddess’s shed body or her true body?” Zhong Yue’s heart was filled with reverence toward the grand ancestor. However, Goddess Hua Xu’s situation made him a little uneasy. The goddess’s body didn’t have any life force in it, making her status unknown to him!

  “Goddess?” Zhong Yue tried.

On the altar, Goddess Hua Xu didn’t reply to his call and Zhong Yue’s heart sank slightly. If Goddess Hua Xu was really dead, her true body would never be left unburied here. But Goddess Hua Xu wasn’t showing any reaction, no air coming from her and no life force in her body. Her situation was truly puzzling.

“Is Goddess Hua Xu severely injured, so she came back to where she was born to recuperate her injuries with the innate Daos here?”

Being clueless over Goddess Hua Xu’s status, Zhong Yue’s only option was to take a random guess. In addition, Goddess Shen Hou didn’t mentioned anything to him before, it seemed like she was somewhat held back from saying anything.

Zhong Yue get onto the altar and sat beside Goddess Hua Xu. His Huaxu bloodline was gently resonating around her presence, even giving him the warmth of being back inside the mother’s arms.

The origin of the Huaxu divine blood of all Fuxis was from her. His mind and soul were never this peaceful before sitting beside her.

Zhong Yue sat there, studying the innate Daos around and trying to understand the abstrusities in them.

Half a year later, Zhong Yue stood up and bowed at Goddess Hua Xu. He swam out of the altar and dived down. There, the star ocean was slowly replaced by the thick and heavy air of Kun Earth Qi.

Zhong Yue swam into the Kun Earth Qi and continued diving down. After a long time, he surfaced from the Kun Earth Qi, glanced around and was stunned.

He was now at the other end of the Hua Xu Sacred Ground. Unlike the other face of the sacred ground, the topography here was a continent made of Kun Earth. Divine mountains were high and tall, grand and stalwart, and there were many planets formed by the Kun Earth Qi hovering in midair.

Turns out, the Hua Xu Sacred Ground consisted of two parts formed by different innate sacred grounds. One part being the water and the other was the earth, and they have merged together into a wonderous sacred ground.

The last time Zhong Yue was here, he didn’t get to see the true face of the sacred ground.

Whereas the Huaxu Clan has two goddesses. The first was the innate snake born from the water and the other was the innate snake born from the earth!

Although both were born as innate snakes, due to the different Daos they were nurtured from, the two goddesses cultivated different Daos as well. The water innate snake cultivated the Kui Water and the earth innate snake cultivated the Kun Earth.

In this Kun Earth Sacred Ground, Zhong Yue also found an altar. The Kun Earth Daos surrounded the altar and a familiar lady was sitting in the lotus position on the altar.

Zhong Yue swam through the Kun Earth Qi and reached the altar. The young lady on the altar immediately turned around to look and was stunned, then, she exclaimed happily, “Senior martial brother!”

Zhong Yue smiled back, “Jin’er, why are you here?”

The Huaxu young lady was Qiu Jin’er. She was shocked and overjoyed to see him and she smiled, “Goddess said I’m the Celestial Wood Spirit Body, the element earth nurtures the element wood. Thus, she sent me to cultivate here. Senior martial brother, I’m now very strong, enough to help you already!”

Zhong Yue looked at her from top to bottom and was surprised. Indeed, Qiu Jin’er wasn’t weak at all. Her cultivation base was now at the peak of Deity Overlord, her foundation was solid and her Yuan Shen was exceptionally strong. Her prowess has seen a stunning boost under Goddess Shen Hou’s teachings.

Although Goddess Shen Hou’s prowess was not as strong as Innate Evil Monarch, Innate Demon Monarch, and the others, but her knowledge and wisdom were beyond their reach. After all, her true body was Dao God Hou Tu!

Innate Evil Monarch, Innate Demon Monarch, and the others had trained amazing disciples that had even secured their spots in the Board of Future Monarchs. As Goddess Shen Hou’s disciple, it wasn’t too surprising that Qiu Jin’er had similar achievements.

Zhong Yue shook and smiled, “The level of Deity Overlord is also known as the Cataclysmic Realm. Even I nearly died a few times in the tribulation of this level. Jin’er, it’s better for you to break through the Deity Overlord before leaving the sacred ground to aid me.”

Qiu Jin’er nodded obediently, she said, “Senior martial brother, why are you here? Goddess said this is a saint and sacred ground, only a few notable Huaxu disciples are qualified enough to enter.”

Then, Zhong Yue explained his goal here to which Qiu Jin’er exclaimed in surprise, “So you are here for the Kun Earth Dao and Kui Water Dao? I can teach you! Also, didn’t you saw Senior Martial Sister Jun? Senior Martial Sister Jun is on the altar of the other end studying the Kui Water Dao. She cultivated longer and can directly impart it to you, it’d save you some time!”

Zhong Yue shook, “No, I didn’t meet Senior Martial Sister Jun.”

“That’s weird. Senior Martial Sister Jun might’ve left.”

Then, Qiu Jin’er imparted her attainments in the Kun Earth Dao to Zhong Yue and the young man meticulously studied it. At the same time, he was also referring to the Innate Kun Earth Daos around the altar to further his attainments.

The two studied together and discussed their attainments with each other. Their cultivation progress was boosted and they grew more intimidate. It was as
if they have returned to the days of bathing in the clouds and lightning back in Swords Gate.

  Chapter 1115: Dao, Toad |

Back then, they were still young and innocent, the sweetness of their first love, the heartbeating of youth and joy, each time Zhong Yue recalled of the lovely memory of that time and couldn’t help but smile from the bottom of his heart.

But those times were fleeting. As they both grew, the responsibility and burden he had to bear grew too.

The young boy was thus left with no choice, and he had to put his life on the line. He had to risk everything he had, not knowing when he would die and clueless about what would happen in the future. He did not dare to give the young lady a promise.

The only thing he guaranteed to her was his eternal loyalty.

Yet, even with such an absurd promise, the young lady followed him regardless, leaving the place that gave birth to her, the Ancestral Star, separating from her family to enter hell with him.

Even more than that, the young lady even asked to be turned into one of the Huaxu Clan, whose lower body was a serpent tail, sinking herself into worries, fearing that her new appearance would put Zhong Yue off.

In terms of relationship, the relationship between them was the strongest and at the same time, purest.

The young man and young lady sat with each other and shared their stories, adventures and knowledge. Both enjoyed the peaceful time together. Qiu Jin’er was the only one that could ease his uneasy heart, whenever he was with her, he would be able to temporarily cast aside his problems, he could always find his peace.

Their arms crossed, her head on his shoulder, his arm around her waist, they both talked happily and their souls twined with each other, pulling them closer in mind.

As much as Zhong Yue wanted this moment to last forever, all good things came to an end; when Zhong Yue achieved the Innate Kun Earth Dao, it was his time to leave.

He got down from the altar and walked towards the far and that was when the lady’s voice came from his back, “Senior martial brother!”

He turned around, where Qiu Jin’er, who was on the altar, opened her mouth. It looked as if there were a billion words that she wanted to tell him, but in the end, all the thoughts she wanted to tell him turned into a simple sentence, “Senior martial brother, I will be waiting for you! No matter how long it takes!”

Right away, Zhong Yue’s soft spot was struck, a second later, his emotions turned into a torrent of ambitious will and love.

  “Jin’er! Marry me!”

He shouted as he let his emotions take over him, voicing out his thoughts without any restrictions, right on this empty Kun Earth Qi sacred ground.

“Wait for me and I will be back to marry you! No matter what happens, even if the world falls apart, I will return and marry you! Wait for me!”

Qiu Jin’er’s mind went blank for a second, her face turned red with visible speed and in her heart, she felt very sweet yet a little sour at the same time. After that, without saying a word, she happily waved her hands at the man she loved with everything she had.

Zhong Yue finally left, leaving the lady alone on the altar with her rapidly beating heart, her strength drained away from her body and she leaned herself against the altar’s pillar, slowly sliding to the ground while laughing and tearing up.

“He promised me… Senior martial brother gave me his promise….” mumbled the girl.

Meanwhile, Zhong Yue left Hua Xu Star Ocean, still affected by his unsuppressed emotions, sinking himself in the confession he made. He had finally confessed his feelings to his beloved junior martial sister!

Suddenly, Xin Huo popped out and yawned, “You playboy, what are you going to do now? What promise will you give? To the lady over there.”

Immediately, Zhong Yue raised his head, his eyes met with a pair of beautiful eyes belonging to Jun Sixie, who was now on a ship. She sat near the window, her back leaning against the pillar and smiled at Zhong Yue.

“Junior martial brother.” said Jun Sixie softly and gently.

“This love debt that you bare, even if you try to clear it off, you will never finish clearing it in your entire life.”

Xin Huo said slowly, “When you give your promise to a lady, you will be turning your back on the other ladies, Zhong Yue, you mustn’t make any promises recklessly.”

Zhong Yue, however, stood up and shouted, “Senior martial sister, in the future, are you willing to marry me?”

His words left Jun Sixie with an empty mind and after some time, the lady shook and giggled, “Stupid.”

Without leaving a single word, she left while Zhong Yue who was not satisfied without receiving an answer shouted, “Will you say yes to me, senior martial sister?”

Jun Sixie got out from the cabin, walked towards the end of the ship in elegance before she shouted, “Have you forgotten why I left the Ancestral Star with you?”

The happy Zhong Yue uncontrollably smiled and he shouted back, “Wait for me!”

Jun Sixie returned back to the cabin happily and after that, she sailed deep into the Hua Xu Star Ocean, raising stars as the paddle swirled in the water.

As for Zhong Yue, after he calmed himself down, he walked towards the outside but before he could even leave the sacred mountains, another lady approached. This time, it was Huaxu Clan’s future Nuwa, Hua Qianwen, the lady destined to marry him even before the two were born.

Hua Qianwen, who was very carefree, was humming some kind of song as she hopped around, when she saw Zhong Yue, she ceased singing right away, tidying her attire and saying gently, “Darling.”

“What are you going to promise her this time?” asked an excited Xin Huo.

Hearing this, Zhong Yue’s head was on the verge of exploding, unlike the others, the marriage between him and Hua Qianwen was decided by their ancestors many years ago!

The leaders of the Huaxu Clan and Fuxi Celestial Race were destined to marry each other!

Fuxi and Nuwa, was a destined couple, this was the ancestral tradition, a rule!

Upon witnessing the gossip first hand, the excited Xin Huo opened his eyes wide, happily waiting for Zhong Yue to give a promise, this little flame had never seen such interesting thing before.

Zhong Yue smiled, “Hua Qianwen, why are you so polite with me?”

“But didn’t they say husband and wife should be polite to each other?”

Hua Qianwen blinked her eyes and giggled, “Goddess also said that I shouldn’t be so unrestricted when I’m with you, in the future, I will marry you and if I continue to behave like that, I will humiliate myself in front of your family.”

Zhong Yue speechlessly said, “Qianwen, I’m already married….”

  “Xuan’er?”

Hua Qianwen returned to her natural behavior and giggled, “She can’t defeat me, she won’t be able to do anything but then again, I can’t defeat her as well. This little girl is getting stronger day by day, back in the future monarch meeting, I talked with her privately and asked about my ranking in the family if I married you. At first, she is very reluctant so we had a duel, which I suppose you saw as well. I was in a hurry so I didn’t fight till the end. I returned home not long ago and hurriedly came over after knowing that you were here….”

Zhong Yue was clueless for a second and when he realized what happened, he shouted, “The meeting ended about 30 years ago and you just returned home? Where did you go?”

Hua Qianwen embarrassedly said, “I got lost, I traveled for a very long time and I just couldn’t find the Huaxu Sacred Ground. Then I find myself in an ocean filled with heavenly fire and only knew that I was in Heavenly Fire Barren Region. However, thanks to your friend, Feng Mingshan, who is bringing his people out from the Heavenly Fire Barren Region, saying that they are going to find a land for themselves to strengthen their power. He pointed me the way and only then did I reach the ancient universe….”

Not knowing whether to laugh or to cry, Zhong Yue said, “But the ancient universe is on the exa
ct opposite of the Huaxu Sacred Ground, how did you get there?”

“Then I had a fight out of nowhere without any reason, after the fight, I somehow made it to Imperial Star, where many monarch spirits were fighting.”

Hua Qianwen blinked her alluring eyes, “Fortunately, I got back in the end. By the way, when are you going to marry me?”

Zhong Yue’s head turned big right away and he hesitated said, “We’re not old enough, isn’t it too early to talk about this?”

“True, we should strengthen our relationship more before we get married.”

Hua Qianwen dragged Zhong Yue with her right away and smiled, “I know a place perfect for couples, come with me!”

Zhong Yue limped away upon being dragged, only to find that the Huaxu Clan’s young lady brought him to a valley of flowers, the stars hung in the skies, flowers blossomed everywhere and there were butterfly spirits flowing among the flowers, each holding a tiny basket, filled with the honey they harvested.

“This is it, the best place for couple in my opinion!”

Hua Qianwen dragged Zhong Yue with her amidst the ocean of flower, her eyes lit up suddenly and she plucked a flower, “A flower a world, are there thousand Daos, living beings in the world in this flower? Do they have their own love, sorrow, hatred, and loyalty?”

A smile hung on her face and she continued, “What kind of Dao is their Dao? What is love to them? What kind of adventure do they have?”

There were so many questions that Zhong Yue couldn’t answer at all and that was when the flower in the lady’s hand was placed near her nose, seemingly smelling the sweet scent of the flower, but Zhong Yue saw her thoughts and Yuan Shen drifting away, lingering in the dimensions and wandering somewhere far away.

When those questions appeared in her mind, she understood something beyond the comprehension of many, a smile on her face and her Yuan Shen wandered away, without any worries with her.

Zhong Yue was speechless for an idiot who did not know her way actually loved such a way of learning about Dao, he was unsure if her Yuan Shen could find her way back to her body.
