  Mister Bi Luo lead him as they traveled in the ocean of books, he smiled while saying, “You can find all of the arts and techniques of all the races you know and the races you don’t. Those who worshipped Heaven before, you can find their arts and techniques here.”

  Zhong Yue’s heart was trembling in shock, he staggered as he followed closely behind Mister Bi Luo while the latter was still introducing, “This is the Earth Order’s Panhu Clan, the arts and techniques of the Panhu’s five monarchs are all here. Other than the five, there are also the arts and techniques of the other monarchs of the Panhu clan whose names not so well known. Some of these arts and techniques were lost even in the Panhu Clan itself, but you can find them here. This section belongs to the Titing Clan, beside it is the Huaxu Clan…”

  He walked for some time and reached the heavenly books of Monarch Peng He.

  This was Monarch Peng He’s cultivation arts and techniques derived by Heaven.

  Among the Fuxi monarchs, there were many of them who were no weaker than the Heavenly Monarchs. But he didn’t have much time to learn all of them and was only able to focus on the Heavenly Monarchs.

  Zhong Yue ran the calculations to decipher the essences of Monarch Peng He’s cultivation art. This was a rare opportunity, although it wasn’t as good as the monarchs in the Void World imparting the arts to him, it was still Heaven’s derivation, it was still incredible enough for him.

  The monarchs’ impartations would pass down their knowledge and attainments into him directly and enormously save time. Whereas studying Heaven’s derivation required him to learn it himself, it all depended on how much he could grasp.

  But the time was too short, Zhong Yue needed every single second and gave all he could!

  After a long time, one of his incarnations’ heads suddenly exploded. His brain juice splattered to the surroundings like boiling water with hot steam. Turns out, his brain couldn’t take it anymore, it had overheated and exploded.

  Zhong Yue ignored it all and continued the calculations while noises of explosions were sounding incessantly in his ears. His incarnations had reached their limits one after another, their heads exploded and even he could start to feel his brain overheating, even shining in light rays.

  His brain was too hot, so hot that lights were produced. But thankfully, his mortal body was strong enough to withstand the heat and prevented him from exploding.

  Meanwhile, more incarnations walked out of his body and replaced the dead incarnations. This allowed him to always stay in his peak form.

  After a day, he stopped the calculations and walked out of the heavenly book, heading toward another book.

  Time was precious, it was impossible for him to learn the complete [Peng He Mystic Art] in such a short time, let alone cultivating it to the monarch level in just one day!

  Thus, he only focused on the quintessence of the [Peng He Mystic Art] and decided to derive the rest of it himself. With the Tian Pan in his hands, he believed he could derive the complete [Peng He Mystic Art]!

  “Monarch Yin Kang’s [Dragon Star Burning Flame Art]!”

  Zhong Yue found Monarch Yin Kang’s cultivation art, he opened the book and allowed the light to carry him away. After a day, he walked out of the lights and arrived at Monarch Wei Lie’s heavenly book.

  But to cultivate the Heaven Trigram, he needed to cultivate the Heaven Dao. The Heaven Dao was a hundred times harder to cultivate than the Innate Mountain Dao and Innate Lake Dao. But if he was able to find Heaven’s arts and techniques here, he would most probably be able to cultivate it here.

  Zhong Yue spent half a day’s time to search for it, he almost flipped the whole Library of Heavenly Books around but still couldn’t find Heaven’s arts and techniques. Clearly, Heaven only used the Library of Heavenly Books as an archive to store the other races’ cultivation arts and techniques. The library’s purpose was to educate Heaven’s disciples, there wasn’t any Heaven’s cultivation arts and techniques in here.

  The Dao of Heavenly Fire was incomplete. Heaven didn’t fully derive Feng Tian Origin Lord’s arts. Looks like Heaven also doesn’t know much about the Dark Age’s cultivation system.

  Zhong Yue found Evil Monarch’s heavenly books and entered the lights but left after a short moment.

  Evil Monarch’s Innate Evil Dao fell in neither the category of celestial or demon. It is in a category of its own. The totem pattern represented only its surface, its essence was still the Dark Age’s Daos. What Heaven had derived was just the surface of the true Daos.

  Then, he found Innate Celestial Monarch’s and Innate Demon Monarch’s heavenly books. Both of which he had exited the lights very quickly. His brows were locked as he realized the heavenly books of the Deity Kings all recorded only superficial knowledge of their arts, the true essences of the Deity Kings’ arts were not elucidated.

  The Daos of the Deity Kings were all complete Daos to begin with, they weren’t made of totem patterns. The totem pattern Daos were just creations based on the innate Daos so they could teach their disciples the Daos they cultivate. Even Heaven couldn’t have derived the complete Innate Celestial Dao and Innate Demon Dao.

  Heaven sure had many limitations. After all, Heaven was the innate god born from the worship of postnate living beings. Although the worships had Heaven born as powerful as a Dao God, the worships have also restricted Heaven’s achievements at the same level. Heaven is unable to decipher the ancient cultivation system.

  Zhong Yue recollected his thoughts. Although the knowledge in the heavenly books was incredible, almost at the peak of the totem pattern cultivation systems, they were still far inferior to the Deity Kings’ complete innate Daos.

  The totem patterns were created to elucidate the ancient innate gods, a language used to interpret the Daos they represented. The totem patterns that Great Sui created were symbols to begin with. And these symbols were the shapes and forms that imitated and represented the innate gods.

  Zhong Yue thought. The innate gods were the Daos, they were the powers. Which means, imitating the innate gods would be imitating the powers of the Daos. The advantage of the totem pattern cultivation system was the quick and easy learning for cultivation, but the disadvantage was also clear — a totem pattern cultivator would never be able to grasp the true innate Daos.

  Just like drawing a circle with polygons; a hexagon would look similar to a circle; a triacontakaihexagon 1was even closer to the shape of a circle; a megagon would almost be like a circle, but it still wouldn’t be a true circle.

  The totem patterns were the polygons, the more edges the polygons had, the closer the polygons were to the circles. But a circle had no edges, a polygon would never be a circle.

  Such was the limitation of the totem pattern cultivation system.

  The Deity Kings were born from the Daos of the cosmos, they represented the innate Daos itself. Whereas Heaven was the totem pattern innate god born from the worship of postnate living beings, representing the peak of the totem pattern cultivation system. There was still a fine line for Heaven to break through the limitation of the totem patterns to reach to the innate Daos.

  Thus, the arts of the Deity Kings Heaven had derived would never be up to the heights of the Deity Kings.

  For two million years, the worship of postnate living beings gave birth to him, and also restricted him.

  Zhong Yue sat down quietly, supporting his head with his hands as he submersed himself in his thoughts.

  Heaven’s weakness was clear as crystal. Heaven represented the peak of the totem pattern cultivation system, just like the absolute rational side of Dao Venerate Fu Min. After all, Dao Venerate Fu Min was already the highest peak of postnate living beings.

  At his stage, there wasn’t any path ahead left to be walked anymore; there wasn’t anything left to achieve.

  Even opening the seventh secret realm and creating the Seven Paths Reincarnation was nothing other than an increase in prowess. There wasn’t any other way to cultivate the true innate Daos to be on the same level as the ancient Deity Kings.

  Not to mention that the opening of the seventh secret realm and creation of Seven Paths Reincarnation would eventually end up being fruits for the ancient Deity Kings to reap in the end.

  Of course, the restriction of the ancient Deity Kings was also huge. For example, it was nearly impossible for Evil Monarch to cultivate the other Daos. His inherent nature of Innate Evil Dao that gave him his power also restricted his achievement to only the Innate Evil Dao.

  It was the same for the other Deity Kings.

  This was why many Deity Kings dwelled on the totem pattern cultivation system. They were hoping they could cultivate t
he other Daos through the totem pattern cultivation system and break free from the restriction of their own Daos!

  But in stark contrast, the postnate living beings had little to no restrictions; they were able to cultivate almost any Dao they wanted. But the restrictions were devastating as well, other than the limited lifespan of the postnate living beings, there was still the impossibility of achieving the true innate Daos.

  Dao Venerate Fu Min was an insurmountable mountain, one that Zhong Yue would never be able to stand above.

  Although there were many other monarch arts in the Library of Heavenly Books, Zhong Yue suddenly lost his interest in them.

  He now knew the reason that limited the postnate living beings’ achievement, and the impossibility of overcoming it. The highest achievement, the greatest level, and the strongest peak the postnate living beings could ever go were to be on par of where Dao Venerate Fu Min once stood.

  To surpass Heaven, to surpass Dao Venerate Fu Min, one would have to surpass the totem pattern cultivation system. To jump out from the frame of the totem pattern cultivation system, to go beyond the Heavenly Daos and break free from the restrictions.

  In order to do so, the only way was to become an innate god and break free from the shackles of mortality.

  The only way was to become a Deity King, to become the true innate Dao!

  To turn the countless totem patterns into one single entity, to turn them into the true innate Daos!

  But how to do it, became Zhong Yue’s biggest question.

  Ever since Zhong Yue had the thousand-winged ancient ship, he had been studying the Space Dao on it and learned the innate meat wings. Then, he studied Shi Long’s Dao bones and learned the Daos in it. However, although he had learned many, he had never gone out of the totem pattern cultivation system.

  If the postnate living beings could cultivate into the innate state, we’ll surely be stronger than the innate gods. This is a path, maybe, this is the only path to surpass Heaven and the ancient Deity Kings!
