His dirty, brash words are a tribute song to my wild side, and as he drags his tongue between my soaked lips, I moan the chorus, needing more of this.

  So. Much. More.

“Say it. Say I’ll be the last.”

  “I can’t.”

Moving his fingers faster, he flicks at my clit, and god ... I can’t take the pleasure.

“Say it,” he says, stopping all movement.

  No!

“Ben, I can’t promise you that.”

Wiping his mouth, he climbs off the bed and comes up to kiss the top of my head.

“I’ll be back again tomorrow. It seems you need time to realize what you’re missing.”

As he walks to my door, I groan and throw a pillow his way, but I miss, and he disappears from my sight. Hearing the front door slam, I flinch.

Asshole! He did not just leave me like this.

  CHAPTER SIX

  Chloe

“Do you like this dress?” my sister asks as she holds the flimsy fabric up to her chest.

“Sure.” I barely glance up at her as I look through the rack. Huffing a breath, she slings the hanger back on it.

“I don’t know why you bothered asking me to go shopping. You aren’t even participating.”

“I’m sorry. I didn’t sleep well, and then I had classes all day.”

“Yeah, and I had classes all day, too. Why did you want to shop on a Monday evening, anyway?”

“Um…” My eyes dart around the department store in the mall.

“Oh, my gosh. You like someone. Are you wanting to buy an outfit for a date?”

“Not exactly.” Scrunching my nose, I look back at her, and she’s staring right at me, curiosity beaming in her jade eyes. “I need to buy new panties and maybe some lingerie.”

“So, this is for a special booty call.” She shrugs. “I guess that’s a step closer to you actually dating someone.”

  “It’s not like that.”

A sly smile spreads from her plump lips. “I knew it. You do like someone.”

“Shit.” I rub my forehead. “I’m in trouble.”

  “Why? Who is it?”

“If I tell you, you can’t tell Mom and Dad. You can’t tell anyone. Got it?”

  “My lips are sealed.”

“It’s Ben, Megan. We’ve had a couple of … moments.”

She slaps her hand over her mouth, but it doesn’t hide her smile.

“It’s about damn time. I knew after our Sunday dinner that things were heating up between you two.”

“You could say that. He won’t stop pursuing me, and I’m losing my ability to resist him, but I need to fight it.”

Looping her arm around mine, she starts walking toward the lingerie department.

“Why do you always say that? Is it because you’re worried you could lose him as a friend?”

“Something like that.” I’m not lying. It’s partially true.

“Look, you and Ben have known each other forever. Even if things didn’t work out romantically, I believe you two have a strong enough friendship to survive it.

“It would maybe take a while for things to get back to normal, but don’t stress about that right now. Ben is worth taking a chance on, and we already know he loves you.”

I can’t tell Megan why being with Ben isn’t an option. It’s bad enough I’m keeping a secret from him when we’re friends, but if we were going to be in a long-term, serious relationship, I couldn’t betray him. If we were going to have a forever relationship, I’d have to tell him the truth.

“Now, Ben’s friends are another story,” Megan spouts. “Not one of them is worth taking a chance on.”

Picking up a pair of pink panties, I grin at her.

  “Not even Nick?”

She averts her gaze and frowns.

“That hillbilly’s the worst. Does the guy even own a pair of shoes besides his cowboy boots? I guess I should be grateful he doesn’t come to dinner in a cowboy hat, too, but he’s always wearing a ball cap and staring at me.”

“You have to be checking him out on occasion to know he’s staring at you.”

“I do not.” Giving a look of disgust, she starts making a mess of the underwear stand, tossing pairs every which way.

“You have to admit he’s good-looking.”

“I already have my pick of hot guys.”

“Nick can be a lot of fun, too, and I’ve found he’s loyal. He really has Ben’s back.”

“Enough about Nick.” She brandishes another sly grin. “Let’s find some sexy undergarments Ben can remove.”

“I don’t know.” I lay down the panties in my hand. “Nick warned me not to lead Ben on.”

“OK, but how will you know if Ben’s the guy for you if you don’t try him out?” Holding a shiny black thong up like a slingshot, she shoots it at me. “Get on the horse, sis.”

“Says the girl who doesn’t like cowboys.”

  ***

My doorbell rings at 9:30 p.m., only twenty minutes after I get home from the mall. I might’ve been stalling, hoping I’d miss Ben altogether.

Biting my lip, I pad to the door and crack it open. He palms it like he did last night, and steps forward, giving me no choice but to let him inside.

“I came by earlier, and you weren’t here. Are you trying to avoid me?” His aggravated tone doesn’t go unnoticed.

  “Not entirely.”

“Weren’t you missing my tongue?” He smirks, and I roll my eyes.

“No. Unlike you, my vibrator doesn’t bail on me. Well, not as long as I keep new batteries around.”

He walks closer, and sliding a hand in my hair, he clutches it.

“I call bullshit on not missing my tongue, and as far as your vibrator, I don’t want that fucker near your pussy, either.”

He slams his lips against mine, and both his hands tangle deep in my hair. Our moans mingle, our tongues stroke and our bodies rub against each other’s. Jesus, he’s a phenomenal kisser.

He lets me go, and we both gasp for air.

“My balls have been hurtin’ the last twenty-four hours, and we’re fixing that right now.”

“Do I need to give them a firm squeeze?”

“No. I imagine after they’ve slapped against your ass a while, the tension will ease.”

Lowering my head, I blush. “I think I like this brazen Ben. Have you been with a bunch of women I don’t know about? Because you sure are confident.”

He tilts my chin. “You know who I’ve been with. This side of me is pent-up, sexual tension from wanting you for years.

“I know you, C.C., and you know me. You trust me, and it’s why I can talk to you like this. I’m also aware of how much your wild streak enjoys it dirty. I want to give you everything you’ve ever wanted.”

“You were mean to leave last night.”

“Have you thought about me since?”

  “Yes.”

“Then it was the right thing to do. Besides, you like the chase, and don’t try to deny it.”

“I do, but maybe it’s time to be caught.” Gazing up at him, I smile coyly. “Take me to bed, Benjamin.”

  Ben

Fuck, I’ve waited years to hear those words from Chloe’s mouth. I take her hand and lead her to her bedroom. I’m surprised when she grips my shoulders and pushes me to sit on the edge of the bed.

I smile up at her as she begins to undress, and damn, her body is perfection. Her large tits and long legs draw men in, but I love Chloe for who she is on the inside, too.

She’s caring, and the most intelligent woman I know. Her lacy hot-pink bra drops to the floor, and I admit to temporarily forgetting she has a brain.

She shimmies out of her jeans, revealing a pair of matching panties. Taking hold of my Emory University sweatshirt, she pulls it over my head.

“Lower your pants. Got a condom?”

“I’ve waited years for this, so you’re getting underneath me.”

  “Not this time.”
/>
She’s always the stubborn one, so I shake my head and pull my wallet from my back pocket. I find a condom and toss my wallet on the floor afterward. She swipes the wrapper from me and opens it while I lower my jeans.

Keeping her eyes locked on mine, she takes off her panties and moves in closer to where her tits are right in my face.

She glides her fingers over my hair while I suck on her rigid nipple. I love how heavy her other tit feels in my hand as I massage it. Shit, I still can’t believe she’s finally giving in to me.

Moaning, she buries my head closer to her chest. I suck harder, groping and teasing her breasts, too, as my cock throbs for a release.

She jerks away and is breathless as she puts the condom on me. Dammit, I can already tell I’m not going to last long once I’m inside her.

If her hands feel this good, I can’t imagine what it will feel like when she sinks her soaked pussy on my dick.

After pushing me onto my back, she straddles my hips, but I grab hers to prevent her from sliding onto me.

“Say it. Say my cock’s the last one you’re going to ride.”

For all that’s holy, I better not have to leave.

  “Not this again.”

  “Say it, or I’m leaving.”

“But that’s the equivalent of me agreeing to be with you forever.”

Sighing, I gaze up at her honey eyes.

“I guess that is a lot to ask this soon. Will you at least say you’ll give this a try? Will you only see me?”

She bites her lip. “OK. I’ll give us a try.”

“Damn, you have no idea how badly I’ve wanted to hear those words.”

“Yeah, I think I do have an idea.”

Clutching my shoulders, she lowers herself onto my dick. I growl and dig my fingertips against her hips.

“Jesus fucking Christ. You feel … fuck, I can’t even describe it.”

She raises up, and as much as I want to fuck her hard and fast, I love being still and feeling my cock buried deep inside her. She slides down on me again … and again, and it’s all I can do to keep from shooting my load.

Knowing I won’t last long, I slip a hand between us and rub circles on her clit. She moans, and I feel her muscles tighten down on me. Shit.

As she rides me, her head slings back, and her moans make it impossible to hold on. The second she starts to come, her pussy clamps down on my cock, and I lose control, orgasming right along with her.

Chloe’s ruined me, but I believe I’ve finally broken the filly. C.C.’s officially mine.

  CHAPTER SEVEN

  Chloe

“Is there anything else I don’t know about you?” I ask Ben as we lie in bed after the second session of mind-blowing sex.

“What do you mean by else?”

Propping myself up on my elbow, I graze my fingers down his chest.

“You’ve always been so sweet to me. I never pictured you as being this … carnal. I guess that’s an accurate word to describe how you’ve seemed since you showed up at my door the other night.”

One corner of his mouth lifts into a boyish grin that adolescent girls’ dreams are made of.

“I told you … it’s years’ worth of pent-up, sexual tension, and you were the only woman I wanted to unleash it on.” He skims a finger up my arm, and I have a feeling we’ll be at it again shortly.

“I’m a dude, so I did cave on occasion, but those times were merely a release. I held back because I knew with you it would be meaningful, and I was not mistaken. We need to tell our parents tomorrow.”

“I don’t think our folks need to hear about the life-altering sex we’ve had tonight.”

Rolling me over, Ben covers me with his superb body.

“Life-altering, huh?” Seeing his charming grin again, I roll my eyes and feel my cheeks burn. “Nope. You can’t take it back now,” he adds, “but what I meant was that we need to tell our parents we’re together.”

“Don’t get mad, but I think we should wait. I’m not really up for hearing my mother go on and on about it. She’d be planning our wedding by midweek.”

“Speaking of which, I need to ask you something.”

I widen my eyes. “I hope you’re not about to ask me to marry you.”

“No, but this does have to do with that. My dad was prying about what happened between us after this month’s dinner. I told him how you’ve been fighting being with me for years, and he said he wondered if it was because of what our parents said when we were sixteen.”

“Which thing? They used to have a lot to say about us.”

“How if we weren’t in relationships with other people by our college graduation, we should get married.”

I clear my throat and glance away. That’s not what’s been holding me back, but it stirs the memories of what has been.

  “No, I barely recall that.”

“OK. I told Dad I didn’t think that was the reason, but he wondered if you were resisting to spite your mom since you’re pretty stubborn where she’s concerned.”

Braving a look back at him, I mumble, “That I am.”

“I’ll never forget the night you told me you didn’t like me. I was crushed.”

“I know.” I touch his cheek, but I’d rather be anywhere than where I am at this moment because eventually, I’m going to have to hurt him again, and the reality of that punches me in the chest. My heart pounds, and I feel a lump forming in my throat.

“Hey, it’s OK. Waiting for you was worth it, and we don’t have to tell our families yet. But, I want to tell someone. I’m thinking Laurel and Nick.”

Sighing, I smile. Ben looks happier at this moment than in all the years I’ve known him. I can’t burst his bubble right now.

“Sure, we can tell them tomorrow.”

  Ben

With Chloe’s hand in mine, I ring Laurel’s doorbell.

“She’s gonna be shocked,” Chloe says.

I smirk. “I guess that means you’ve never told her you’re into me, whereas Nick’s known for a long time how I feel about you.”

Leaning her head against my shoulder, she says, “I’m sorry. I was denying it to myself, so I couldn’t tell anyone else.”

The door opens, and after Laurel glances at each of us, she spots our entwined hands. With round eyes, she looks back up and grins.

  “No way.”

  “Yep,” I say.

“Oh, my gosh. I always knew this would happen.” She steps back for us to enter.

“You did?” Chloe asks, sounding surprised.

“Please. You knew it, too.” Laurel picks a blanket up from the couch. “We’ve already started studying for finals, so excuse the mess. Sit, and tell me all about this new turn of events.”

“Hi,” Jason Nichols says as he strolls into the room.

“Sweetie,” Laurel says to him, “Chloe and Ben started dating. Remember how I told you they’ve been friends for years?”

He grins at me. “Yeah, I’ve seen them together a time or two.” Shit, I guess everyone on campus knows I’ve been in love with Chloe for years.

“So, I’m guessing this is a thing, too.” I point between him and Laurel. He needs a taste of his own medicine. Sidling up next to her, he brushes back his thick blond hair and grins again.

“Yep. She’s met my family, and we’re living together. I think it’s a done deal.”

The proud smile beaming back at him from Laurel isn’t one I’ve seen from Chloe. I want to believe she’s given all of herself to me, but she hasn’t. She’s still holding back … still skittish. Maybe that’ll change soon.

“Yes, it’s a done deal. He even got me eating pie again.”

“Wow, I’m impressed,” Chloe says. I have no idea what they’re talking about, but I’m glad to see that Laurel’s happy. If Jason hurts her, I’m breaking his arms and legs.

“Man, want a beer?” he asks.

“Sure.” To give Laurel and Chloe time to talk, I follow Jason to the kitchen. He grabs two
beers out of the fridge, and after opening them, he hands me one.

  “Thanks.”

Leaning back against his kitchen counter, he takes a long drink.

“So, you landed the girl with the longest legs in Georgia.”

“I’d prefer you not talk about her legs, but yes … finally. I see you landed one of the kindest.” I give him a look of warning.

“I know I have a reputation, but things are different now. Laurel has me wrapped around her finger. I’ve wanted to date her for years, so I’m grateful she’s finally giving me a chance. Don’t worry; I have no intention of fucking this up.”

“I guess we have something in common since I’ve wanted Chloe for as long as I can remember.” Surprised I told him that, I look away and take a drink.

“Good for you, man. What do you think changed?”

“I quit watching from the sidelines. I guess you could say I finally grew a pair and wouldn’t take no for an answer.”

“Same. As much as I wish Laurel and I could’ve been together sooner, I probably would’ve screwed it up. You know what I mean? I guess it’s all about timing.”

  “Yeah, I guess it is.”

  Chloe

“You still look shocked,” I say to Laurel. She fiddles with the auburn curls in her messy bun.

“We could talk about it for the next hour, and I’d still be surprised. Like I said, I thought this would happen, but not having any warning about it caught me off guard.”

“I would’ve told you, but it just happened over the last few days. I knew you were out of town with Jason.”

Sitting next to me, she clasps my hand.

“I’m proud of you. You’re so honest with everyone aside from yourself, so it’s nice to see you admitting your feelings for him. Do you remember when you told me Jason only slept around as a distraction because he liked me?”

“Vaguely. If I recall correctly, I was drunk that night.”

“I always thought you were doing the same, when all you really wanted was to be with Ben. I get why Jason didn’t pursue me sooner, but I’ve never understood why you’ve ignored your feelings for Ben.”
