Teach Me, Master (Neighbors, 3)

“It’s all about trust, Treats. You trusting me to know what is best for you, how to guide you in your pleasure and how that pleasure can be increased by seeing to my needs first. While I trust you to be honest with me about what you want and are curious about.”

Could she have asked for things to be any easier? The opportunity was here in front of her. Like the chance to follow her instincts and become his lover presented less than two hours earlier. “How long would this trial period last?”

“As long as you want. In order to decide.” Vince assured her.

Triss held her breath for a moment, then nodded. “Okay. I agree to a trial period as your submissive, but watch the name calling.”

“Name calling? I know you don’t object to ‘pet’ or ‘Treats’. I’ve also called you ‘sweet’, ‘baby’, and ‘mine’.”

The nicknames sent tingles throughout her body. “I don’t mind those, or others that sound -- I guess endearing. It’s the use of ‘slut’, ‘whore’, sometimes even ‘bitch’, that I’ve run across in my research that I don’t think I could tolerate being called.”

“Ah, those. I’ve used them before with my subs, but only when the words brought them pleasure.” Before she could comment, he added, “I don’t pass judgment. I merely learn what works for a woman and use it to teach her how to best submit to me.”

  “Thank you.”

A smile was his response before he lowered his head and kissed her. She was breathless by the time he pulled away and lifted his head.

“Rule number one: always use our safe word. If something becomes too much, or you’re uncertain and want to discuss what will or won’t happen, say the safe word.”

“Okay. What is our safe word?”

“When you decide if you want to commit to a relationship, we’ll choose one. It has to be something you’d never normally say, so think about it. For right now we’ll use the standbys.”

  “Red. Yellow. Green?” Triss asked.

Vince nodded. “Exactly. Red for stop. Yellow for slow down. And Green for keep going.”

“So, I’d say red if I wanted to stop completely and yellow if I needed to talk about the situation?”

  “Yes.”

Triss nodded. “Okay. Any other rules?”

“A few more. Rule number two: no orgasms unless you ask permission and I give it, or unless I tell you you may come.”

Triss recalled what had happened earlier and hesitated. She’d never experienced the rapid escalation and repeated climaxes she’d felt when Vince entered her. As much as she’d enjoyed them, she didn’t want to be punished for something she couldn’t control. “I’m not sure.”

“We’re going to have to work on this one, because you come so hard and fast, and so many times, holding off is going to be a challenge. But that’s what training is for.”

She could feel her face go hot with embarrassment. “I’ve never done that before.”

Vince nuzzled the sensitive spot beneath her chin then where her neck and shoulder met. “I could tell. It was a helluva turn on for me to feel how you went off like a string of firecrackers the second I got inside you. One right after another after another. Just means I’ll have to save the fucking for last.”

Triss chuckled and rubbed her hand along his ribs, down to his hip, before squeezing his butt.

He nipped her shoulder and continued. “Rule number three: when we play, whether alone or at one of the clubs or private parties, you will always refer to me as Master.”

  “Clubs or parties?”

He removed her hand from his ass and pressed it to the mattress beside her head. “If you decide to submit to me long-term, I’ll be taking you to the clubs and parties I attend, so you can meet and watch others who like kink.”

“Is that what you meant by display me?”

  “Yes.”

Triss thought hard about what she could be getting herself into, but she was sure it would only happen if she chose to continue with him. Which she had no intention of doing. Taking orders, long-term, from any man, was out of the question. She determinedly ignored the tingle of excitement at attending one of the clubs with Vince as her master.

“Rule number four: If you enter my home, you agree to become my submissive. Trial period ends, no discussion.”

She could swear there had been a few women that had only visited him once. Did that mean long-term for him could be simply a night? It didn’t sound like what he was saying, but she could be hearing only what she wanted to hear. “Was that the agreement you had with those other women?”

“No. This rule is just for you, Treats. The other women had been part of the lifestyle. They were interested in play dates only. Testing each other to see if we’d be compatible.”

Triss barely hid the pleasure of knowing the other women hadn’t met his needs. Not that she considered herself capable of meeting them, but she’d have a wonderful time trying. When she could get her damned conscience to shut up. “And they didn’t work out?”

  “No. They didn’t work out.”

“Are there any other rules?” The longer she lay sprawled out next to him in her bed, the hotter she became. It was bad enough lusting after him from afar, but now that she knew what he was capable of making her feel -- whew -- the temptation was getting too much.

“There’ll be more if you decide to submit permanently, but for now, those are the only four you have to concern yourself with.”

“So. Use the safe word; no coming without permission; call you Master; and no going to your place.”

  “Pretty much.”

She tried to tug her hand free. “Okay, I’ve got the rules, how about you let me up so I can--”

The smile on his face and the slow shaking of his head had her belly clenching and the fire swirling in her center. “We’re not finished, pet. You’ve only come on my cock. Now you have to do it on my fingers.”

“I -- uh, I thought it was either or, not both.” Triss stammered, squirming against the sheets.

His hand left her wrist. He moved it lower, over her breast, down her belly until his fingers tangled in the damp curls covering her. “Open up. Master wants to play.”

Enjoying the sensations coursing through her, Triss sighed. “Yes.”

He stilled, his gaze holding hers, his expression stern. “Yes what?”

Ah, rule number three. “Yes, Master.” She parted her legs and kept her hands beside her head while she smiled up at him.

  “Very good, Treats.”

Triss moaned, her back arching off the bed as he zeroed in on the spots that sent shivers down her legs and up her spine. If she was determining the length of their trial run, Triss doubted a decade would be long enough for her to get used to the way he could make her feel. The way he could make her body hum.

  Chapter Seven

By the time Triss dragged herself into the Downtown Bistro to meet Jynn for lunch on Thursday, she was just beginning to regain some composure. Vince had been very hard to resist both last night and this morning. The man had a way of making her change her mind. Even she couldn’t hate herself for giving in.

And the things he taught her. Her body grew warm and her breasts, still sore from the clips he’d introduced her to last night, tingled in anticipation of the promises he’d made for tonight. She winced when she sat down in the booth the hostess escorted her to. The muscles in her legs and bottom had definitely gotten a work out, and the cool cloths and long hot bath she’d taken before bed had only gone so far to soothe the tender flesh between her thighs. It hadn’t helped that she’d awakened aroused, on the edge of climax, Vince having decided to leave her with a taste of what he intended to teach her tonight.

Not that she wouldn’t suffer through the aches again to relive last night. It made more sense now why Jynn had been so determined all these years to get her to give into some man. Although she doubted any other man could pull the responses out of her the way Vince did. She shook off that thought and the resulting disquiet t
hat came with it.

“Stop thinking that way.” she muttered.

“What way?”Jynn asked, Her brow creased with confusion, she slid onto the padded bench opposite Triss.

If she smiled too wide, Jynn would be suspicious, so she tried to keep her expression neutral. The woman could sniff a secret from twenty yards. Even as kids back in Oklahoma she’d found it difficult to keep anything hidden from her best friend. How she’d avoided detection regarding the phone sex, Triss didn’t know, but she was thankful for it now. “Nothing. How are you doing?”

Jynn smirked. She bobbed her eyebrows in a ‘you-know-what-I-mean’ signal. “Jack came home.”

Ahh, maybe she could completely avoid Jynn finding out about last night. “I thought you kicked him out?”

Jynn scanned the menu then set it aside. “I did. But he showed up to grovel.”

  “And?”

“If there’s one thing Jack is really good at, it’s how to use his mouth when he’s on his knees in front of a woman.”

Triss laughed. “I take it he wasn’t using it for talking, huh?”

The waitress’s arrival precluded Jynn’s answer, but Triss was pretty sure from the sleepy, but satisfied look on her friend’s face, that Jack would be around for a while. At least until he pissed Jynn off again. Triss wondered if she wore a similar look after her night with Vince. She hoped not.

Even though they’d been best friends since grade school and Jynn had waited to attend college until Triss could go with her. She didn’t think Jynn would react well to the change in Triss’s life. Especially her love life.

Jynn let out a low purr, her gaze focused on the double doors of the café. “Oh, my, my, my.”

Lifting her head from her examination of the paper placemat, Triss had to admit the two men entering the café were definitely drool worthy. Particularly since one was almost a dead ringer for George Clooney. The sprinkling of gray at his temples, roughly handsome features, and fit body beneath the suit and tie he wore turned several heads in the eatery. The man ahead of him was no slouch in the looks department either.

Nearly equal in height his hair slightly longer and body just as muscular and fit, he wore jeans and a leather jacket with a turtleneck underneath.

“Now I could definitely get used to watching those two,” Jynn sighed.

  “What about Jack?”

  “Jack who?”

The man in front shifted revealing the woman between them.

Jynn groaned, her bottom lip pushing out into a definite pout. “Damn, wouldn’t you know it.”

Triss peered closer at the woman. The dark blonde hair and curvy figure were familiar. “That’s Davy’s teacher. Or she used to be his teacher.”

  “Your brother Bart’s son?”

“Yes. She taught him in second grade…last year. No, two years ago.”

“Was she married?” Jynn glanced back at the threesome as they settled into a booth. They didn’t bother reading their menus, hinting to Triss that they frequented the restaurant enough to know what they wanted without consulting the offerings.

“Yes. In fact, she was expecting her first baby just before the end of school, when Davy was in her class.”

Jynn pouted for a moment. “Please tell me it’s the Clooney look-alike she’s married to--”

Triss found it hard to stifle her laughter as Jynn’s dreams were dashed when the men moved closer to the woman nestled between them in the booth.

“That’s so not fair,” Jynn grumbled.

“Come on, Jynn, you don’t actually think she’s with both -- ” Triss’s comment went unfinished. Across the room, the woman kissed the Clooney look alike and motioned the other man to let her out of the booth. Once she was standing she kissed the other man before heading toward the restrooms. “Well, I guess that answers that question.”

“Oh man,” Jynn leaned back in her seat and grinned at Triss. “Can you imagine going home to those two every night?”

“She must take industrial strength vitamins to keep up.”

The salads they’d ordered arrived ending the conversation for a few minutes.

Jynn glanced at the booth one last time as the woman returned and resumed her seat. “I’ll bet the sex is amazing.” She turned and grinned at Triss. “Do you think Mr. Yummy is into the ménage scene.”

Her grasp on her fork tightened at the thought of sharing Vince with another woman, since he’d vehemently eliminated other men fucking her. Here was her opportunity to tell Jynn about the temporary arrangement. Refusing to chicken out, Triss kept her voice calm and responded, “I don’t think so, but I’ll ask him about that this weekend.”

“This weekend?” Jynn’s tone went from amused to concerned. “Triss, what did you do?”

She didn’t doubt Jynn might assume she’d said yes to a date rather than sex. That much Jynn could accept. The truth would have her friend exploding from her seat and threatening to call her brother, Randy, to come take her back to Oklahoma. “I said yes when Vince asked me.”

“Are you out of your ever lovin’ mind?” Jynn kept her voice low.

Triss squirmed in her seat, but she was determined to see this through. “No. I’m approaching this situation with a clear goal in mind.”

“What goal? Rip your heart out and feed it to a proverbial lion. For goodness’s sake, Triss, if you couldn’t make love with the guys you’ve been dating over the years, what makes you think you’ll be able to go through with it this time?”

Triss could feel the heat spread across her belly and surge up her chest into her cheeks. As much as she might like to avoid explanations, the slack-jawed expression, temporary though it was, on Jynn’s face had Triss babbling the first thing that came to mind. “It was just sex.”

“You had sex with him? Already?”

Triss nodded. “That’s all it was. Just sex.” Maybe I’ll get through this --

  “Liar.”

Yeah, didn’t think she’d believe that. “Jynn --”

“Do not try to tell me that you think for one minute that what you had with Mr. Yummy was ‘just sex’. Not after you’ve spent the last eighteen months drooling over him?”

She wasn’t about to correct Jynn on the length of time she’d been aware of Vince. “I did, Jynn. I went into this fully aware of the boundaries and knowing that this is not permanent.”

Jynn’s fork clattered against the oversized bowl. “How long? A week? A month? Two months? Just how long is he asking you to be with him?”

“I’m not sure. I know he intends to spend the weekend with me. He has other things he likes to do besides entertain a woman during the day, but at night we’ll be at my apartment.”

“Your apartment? What about his place?”

“That’s against the rules.” The moment her answer left her lips Triss knew she wouldn’t be able to hide the details about her agreement to submit to Vince.

Jynn picked up her fork and stabbed at the vegetables in her salad. “Rules? He has rules?”

  “It’s not what you think.”

“Oh, well that’s nice. How do you know what I’m thinking?”

  “It’s all over your face.”

Jynn chewed on the bite of salad she’d skewered, her gaze narrowed. She seemed, gaze latched onto Triss, to wait for an explanation.

“Come on, Jynn, you’ve been trying to get me to hook up with someone for years. I finally did.” She smiled and did a bit of her own eyebrow waggling. “And, much as I hate to say it, you were right.”

Jynn glared at her, but stayed silent long enough for Triss to finish. “It’s the perfect solution to so many things.” She held up her hand and began ticking off each one of her fingers before her friend could interrupt. “First, I finally have something to compare my love scenes to. Second, as hot as the man makes me, I’m sure time in his company will cure me of my crush. Even you have to admit there’s no way he’s as perfect as he seems.”

Jynn nodded grudgingly while Triss continued.r />
“Third, he’ll finally stop teasing me whenever I run into him. Guys always want what they can’t have. I figure, he spends some extended time with me and we’ll both go our separate ways without any hard feelings. Fourth, I’ll be over my crush.”

Jynn pointed at her with her fork. “You already said that.”

If Jynn thought the primary motivation was research she might not argue too hard against Triss’s decision. “It bears repeating. If I decide to look for a permanent guy, I won’t place him in the running. And fifth, I’m going to be getting first-hand experience with BDSM. He and I discussed it last night.”

  “So this is about research?”

  “Yes.”

  “Liar.”

“Jynn, come on. You have to admit it makes sense.”

“To a flea maybe. But be reasonable, Triss. Can you honestly believe you’ll be able to sleep with this guy for any extended amount of time and not develop feelings for him?”

“I already like him. He gets me hotter than any other man I’ve known.”

  “My point exactly.”

Triss shook her head, “But I’m not in love with him. And I’m not likely to fall in love with him.”

“Why not? How can you be sure you can stay immune to falling for this guy?” Jynn leaned close, her fork used as a substitute for her finger. “You forget I was the one who had to put you back together after that creep Kevin broke your heart.”

Triss rolled her eyes. “That was high school. If one of us wasn’t heartbroken over some kid at least once a week, we weren’t happy.”

Jynn frowned and stuck her fork back into her salad. “I can’t make you change your mind, can I?”

  “No.”

Jynn stared down at her salad, one hand cupped over the other, fork dangling from her fingers over the bowl. “I know I’ve teased you about being a virgin, Triss, but I’m afraid if you do this for the wrong reasons, you might regret it for the rest of your life.”
