Lucifer clinched his fists at his sides. “Why? Because you think of me as weak? Like I am not worthy of this, to protect and bring harmony to Moriah?”

El stepped up and placed a hand to his shoulder as he had seen his Father do to El many times over. “No, because you have always been smarter than me. I am a warrior, I know how to kill to preserve our way of life…you know how to speak the words to sway those around you, I do not know if it is grace that leads you or a forked tongue, but as we grew…how many times did you save me from a lashing? How many times did your words sway Father and force his anger to subside? Lucifer…” he stepped up and placed a hand to his other shoulder and stared into his eyes. “You have a gift, they will listen to you and they will follow. The point is not to kill them, it is to collect the grace and resources to bring them back to our people. I cannot do this without a diplomat at my side. Without you, my brother.”

Lucifer swallowed hard as the words sunk deep into his soul as his grace strengthened. To have his brother truly need him for something was a blessing. He had never felt as if he would matter in this life. He was lost and then a thought of Ariel entered into his mind. He looked up at El. “How long would we be there?”

El sighed and looked back up, towards the stars. “I am uncertain, it may be a very long time before we able to set eyes on Moriah again and the Golden City of Light, but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make to ensure we live on forever and that we will, if we succeed in this, my brother.”

Lucifer stood there as El left him in the darkness. His heart filling with pride for being asked to stand at his brothers side and breaking in two as he knew he would have to leave Ariel behind. He took off running towards The Mount and took to the skies, needing to see her, needing to see her face and hear her sweet voice.

He glided in and landed, running a few feet and slowing. His wings silent, yet majestic. They fluttered and then retracted, tucking behind him as he slowly walked towards the large, deeply inscribed doors of The Mount. He stopped as he reached out and the door cracked open, allowing the sweet smells of incense to roll out and all around him. He took a deep breath, drawing it into his lungs as Ariel stepped from the shadows and grinned at him.

“I thought you could not see my future?” he whispered and she laughed under her breath. “I cannot, I heard you coming, I would know the sound of your wings anywhere.”

Lucifer smiled as she reached down and took his hand into her own and pulled him inside. He had never entered The Mount before, it was a place his father frequented as war raged on. He often confided in the sight-seers to guide him, and guide him they had…to what seemed to be victory. Ariel pushed the door closed behind him as he looked up and saw a large floating orb in the center of the room. Silent lightning bolts raced around it in blue and white as different scenes flashed inside of it. The orb itself looked to be made of liquid, but it held together, as if something magical was cupping it in its hand. The scenes were of war, battles long past and all collected in the memory orb. Ariel stared at him and then looked up at it.

“Beautiful, is it not? A powerful collection of our history. Only sight-seers have access to it all, but the scenes flash day and night as if it were a reminder of what has been and, hopefully, a learning tool for the future.”

Lucifer nodded as she started to walk along side it and he could not stop staring at it. Suddenly, he saw a flash of El, in his armor, crying out, swords drawn and wings spread wide. He looked down as the thought of war weighed on his heart, as did what El had asked of him to do. Ariel stopped and placed a hand to his cheek.

  “What troubles you?”

He shook his head as if nothing did, but she knew it had to be something as his expression looked saddened. She walked along very quietly, holding his hand until they reached a long golden staircase that wound up the side of the tall wall. She started to walk up them as he walked alongside her. They did not speak and as they reached the end of a long hall, she stopped as she stared at a door with beautifully etched angelic symbols all over it. Each symbol glowed as they looked at them. He glanced at her face as the golden light lit up her flawless skin and she turned and looked into his eyes.

“This is my chamber, would you like to enter, Lucifer?”

He nodded as she waved her hand over the door and it opened. It had no doorknob to speak of, just her will to enter. It knew her, as he did. His heartbeat sped up as he stepped in and saw the large alter, draped in golden linen and then he scanned the room and saw her large bed. It looked as if it could hold five people, if not more. He swallowed hard as the door closed behind him and she walked to the alter and waved her delicate hand. The wind kicked up in the room and blew her red hair up around her face as the golden linen started to rise. It floated above the alter as Lucifer walked towards her very slowly. She glanced back at him and her expression was one of peace. She rose from the ground, only a couple of feet, as the linen danced in slow motion before her, her hair rose and her arms spread wide as the linen suddenly became ridged and Lucifer could see a vision in the threading…one of his brother crying out with sword in his hand. El looked tired, restless and harder than he usually did. Ariel’s head fell back as the wind blew around her, flower petals spun in the room and the candles were blown out. She cried out as she started to fall and Lucifer caught her in his arms before she hit the stone floor beneath her. Her eyes were open, but vacant as he looked down on her in panic, he shook her until she blinked and looked up at him.

“War is coming…a great war, turmoil on Moriah. I see flickers of red light and feel a rumbling as if a hundred angels march onto the battlefield. It fills me with dread and the vision is clouded, I feel as if there is more, but I cannot see it, I just cannot decipher the whole meaning,” she whispered as she placed a hand to his cheek and leaned up. Her soft lips meeting his own. His lips parted as her tongue slid inside. His heartbeat racing and his grip on her becoming tighter. She moaned, a small sound that rose from the back of her throat and made him react to her. He stood up, carrying her in his arms. He walked towards the bed as she continued to kiss him. He knew she wanted him, he could feel her grace rising to meet his own. His wings expanded and then twitched as he lay her down and her hands cupped his face. She leaned back and whispered to him.

“Please lay with me, please stay, Lucifer. I am frightened and I want you.”

He nodded to her and his wings retracted and tucked behind him as he crawled onto the bed and half on top of her. She raised one leg and wrapped it around one of his as their lips met again. This time, the kiss was harder and full of more need and passion. Lucifer had never been with anyone before and to have Ariel want him so badly and be his first, was beyond anything he could have hoped for. He leaned up and touched her face with the tips of his fingers.

“Why did you have a vision of El and not of me?”

She narrowed her eyes and placed a hand over his, pressing his palm to her face. “A seer does not choose what they see, only what is relevant. I do not think of him, I only think of you.” Lucifer leaned in and pressed his lips back against her own. His chest filling with his own grace and his body reacting to her. She rolled him over onto his back and crawled on top of him. Straddling his hips and applying pressure with her own. He arched his back and reached up, grabbing her sides as she started to rotate her hips against him. Each time it made him harder, each time his lust rose and wanted her even more. She tightened her knees against his sides and leaned down into his face. She reached between them and pulled out his erect cock and stroked it as his lips parted and he moaned. She grinned as she watched his expression. He was so pleased with her and she could not wish for more. She lifted up and then guided his erect cock into herself as Lucifer hissed and sat up. Her muscles contracted on him and he buried his face into her chest as his cock twitched inside of her. She moved and he cried out, she stopped and cupped his face in her hands. She made him look into her eyes.

“This is not to be done quickly, it is a pleasure to make
last. Endure for me, last as long as you can, and I will, too. I want to feel you inside of me as long as you can hold out, will you promise me that you will try?”

Lucifer nodded to her as she kissed him again and slowly thrust forward. He reached own and grabbed her ass, tucking his hands under it and jerking her forward, once, then twice and then getting into a slow rhythm that he could control. His breathing slowed as his tongue raced along her bare chest. He stopped and licked her erect nipple as her head fell back and they continued to move as one. She wrapped her arms around his neck as they rolled and he stared down on her.

  “I love you, Ariel.”

She opened her mouth as he thrust forward and spoke as her voice cracked.

“I have always loved you, from the moment I saw you. It has always been you and only you for me, Lucifer.”

He buried his face in her shoulder as she reached down and grabbed his ass. His muscles tightened and contracted with each thrust forward. He sat up and spread her legs wide, looking down as he could see his cock disappearing and then reappearing with each stroke.

“Ariel…” he said as he closed his eyes and she arched her back. “It is okay, do it and we will do it again and again until you fall asleep, my love.”

His wings suddenly expanded out to each side as he fucked her harder and harder, she rotated her hips against him as his thrusting became a blur and his mouth opened. One cry left him as his first orgasm rocked through his entire body. His wings twitched and then sunk as did he against her chest. His breathing erratic, as was her own.

“I don’t…I have never felt anything like that before…” Ariel smiled and rolled him over onto his back. She looked down his body and then lowered, placing her lips to the tip of his cock as he reached up and grabbed the golden bars of her bed.

“Oh…..Ariel!” he yelled as his cock disappeared deep into her mouth.

  Chapter Four

  Preparing the Meal

Lucifer awoke in Ariel’s bed all alone. He had stayed the night and he had lost count of how many times he had spilled his seed. She pleasured him in ways he never thought imaginable. His life had been filled with thoughts of proving himself to his father, but as he lay there and closed his eyes, his new needs were far different. His need was that of her touch. The way her lips met his own and the way she made him feel as if he was more, so much more than he ever thought he could be. Love does this, love will make you a better person and Lucifer could feel this change as if it were something tangible. He sat up as Ariel flew into the large window and her small feet gently touched down on the stone floor. He grinned at her, as she was now even more beautiful than she had been before to him. He had now shared his grace with her, which was something an angel only did with someone they planned to be with forever. To an angel, their grace was what fueled their souls. A life force not unlike that of humans, minus the longevity of life it allowed them to have.

She walked towards him and held up a basket of fruit. He smiled and nodded to her as she crawled into the bed and set it down next to him. She grabbed a peach and bit into it, the juice running down her chin as she grinned at him. He licked his lip and leaned in, making her laugh as he rolled her onto her back and licked her lip, tasting the sweetness of it.

“You are incredible,” he said as she smiled up at him.

  “So are you.”

“I meant what I said to you, Ariel, I do love you.”

The door opened and she sat up very quickly and left the bed as The Mount Guardian, Lady Misha, entered and stopped dead. She spotted Lucifer in Ariel's bed.

“Well, what do we have here?” she asked as Lucifer slid from the bed and got dressed very quickly, he stepped up and held his hand up to her.

“I came here, it is my fault. I asked her if I could come into her chamber.”

She raised an eyebrow and then looked at Ariel. “You are summoned by Lord Elohim, he seeks your guidance.” Ariel nodded to her and only glanced at Lucifer as she left the room very quickly. Lady Misha looked back to Lucifer and scowled.

“Your mother is very worried, she has the Helios Guard looking for you, I suggest you return home this instant and do not do this again.”

  “I apologize but…but, I love her.”

Lady Misha tilted her head at him and then nodded. “We do not choose who we love, it is the heart that does in such matters, but I fear that you have gone astray. Ariel is not meant to mate Lucifer, she is a powerful seer and her place is here, on The Mount. She cannot mate and leave her post. She was born to do this as you were born to your house of war. Love only clouds her visions, it weakens her and that of Moriah.”

Lucifer shook his head ‘no’ as El entered Ariel’s room and then spotted him.

He stepped up to him and placed his arm around his shoulder. Lucifer’s expression was one of deep sadness. “Come, Brother. Mother has been worried about you.”

He nodded as his eyes lifted to that of Lady Misha’s. “Please tell her…” Lady Misha held her hand up to him.

“It is best if you leave, Lord Lucifer, and do not think of her again.”

  ***

Lucifer paused as he stared forward, his expression blank. Gunner blinked his eyes and looked down on him. The visions before him dissipated as Lucifer lost his place. Gunner opened his parched lips and spoke to him.

“Don’t tell me you are upset about something.”

Lucifer blinked and then glanced up at him. “I am not in the mood for your fucking jokes, Gunner.”

Gunner laughed and then coughing quickly followed. Blood trickled from his mouth and Lucifer stepped up and stared at it dripping on his bare chest.

“Not so funny now, is it?” Lucifer said as he reached up and swiped a bit of Gunner’s blood and then quickly placed it to his lips. He closed his eyes as the sweet taste of it engulfed his senses, as it always did. The blood fed him, it was filled with grace and bittersweet memories of times long past. He got a flash of Gunner on the battlefield and then opened his eyes. His pupils swirling in red. “Now, do you mind? I will go on.”

Gunner sighed as the visions returned and Lucifer picked up right where he left off….

  ***

For days, Lucifer did not speak. His mother accepted that he had run away to Ariel. She knew all that had transpired, as Ariel was read and Lady Misha shared it with her. His love for her was as real as any other and his heart ached. He had mated with her and shared his grace. This was something one angel did not do with another. The bond was forever and as Lucifer sat in his room and stared out his window, his mother stopped in the hall and stared in at him. He looked as if he longed for freedom, but nothing could offer him that now. His heart belonged to her and her life belonged to Moriah. She sighed as El stepped up next to her and placed his arm around her shoulder.

“I will take him out and help him get past this.” She nodded to him and tapped his hand on her shoulder. He kissed her on the cheek as she closed her eyes. “Do not worry. He will be fine.”

“He shared his grace with her, I doubt he will ever truly be fine, El,” she said quietly. He looked into the room and let her go.

  “Let me talk to him.”

She nodded to him and walked down the hallway as he entered Lucifer’s room and looked around. He saw the weapons above the large fireplace, swords Lucifer had practiced with many times, but was never able to utilize in war. He walked up to them and ran his fingers along the silver metal, feeling the angelic symbols etched into them hum under his touch. He lifted it and held it up to his face and then lowered it as he turned. Lucifer had not even bothered to turn from the window, even though he knew he was in the room.

“Spar?” El asked him and Lucifer shrugged his shoulders. El sighed and lowered the blade as he walked towards him. He stopped a few feet out and held the sword up once again.

“Come on,” he said as Lucifer glanced at him.

  “Why?”

El cried out and raced towards him, he shoved him from the window and then toss
ed the blade out as Lucifer plummeted towards the ground. Lucifer’s wings suddenly spread wide open and he glided, twisting onto his back and catching the sword in his right hand as he watched El dive from the window down towards him with another sword in hand.

Lucifer cried out to him. “I said why?!”

El tucked his wings and dove at him at the speed of lightning. Lucifer had to move to the side as El grinned, twisting in the air and sparks flew as the two angelic swords clashed in the air against the length of each other.

“Fight!” El screamed at him as Lucifer lowered his sword and flew upwards, back towards his room. El pursued him and just as Lucifer was about to land on the ledge of his large windowsill, El grabbed his foot and tossed him. He tumbled through the air and had to regain control of himself. He gritted his teeth as El approached him with his sword outstretched and pointed at him.

“If you are truly your father’s son, then you would welcome a battle, you would not cower and want to perch on the edge of your windowsill like a love struck fool.”

Lucifer gripped his sword tightly in his hand. “I love her.”

El shook his head and came closer with his blade still drawn.

“Love does not win wars, hatred does, and if you choose to pine away for some sightseeing whore then you are not my brother.”

  “She is not a whore!”

El laughed and looked towards The Mount. “Tell me, did she know what to do or did she cower at the sight of you cock, my brother?”

Lucifer closed his eyes and thought of his night with Ariel. Her lips against his and how she seemed to take control of the entire situation. He shook his head and glared at his brother, his sword rising to meet his.

“I won’t have you talk of her this way.”

El moved in closer to him. “Nothing is stronger than blood… that is not blood, that is simply a place to bury your lust, a hole to hide your hardened cock.”
