As the two began to leave, a young woman calls out to them to stop. Branch and Stacey stop. They both turned and were surprised to find that it was Tatyana that has called out to them. She walks out forward towards them with a serious look on her face.

  “Sign me up.” Says Tatyana.

“What is TT doing…?!” says a shocked Luke.

“…Fuck it. I’m with her!” shouts Akira, walking forward next, to Luke’s amazement.

“Interesting…!” says Branch with a smirk.

Luke looked hesitant, and was surprised Akira and Tatyana stood before Branch and Stacey. Luke suddenly began to take in a deep breath, and exhale, before walking forward towards his friends.

“…You can count me in, as well.” Says Luke. Branch witnessed these 3 young adults with a serious look. They clearly looked like they were ready to fight back.

“My, oh my…the Calamita Team’s own family…?” thought Branch, gazing at the 3 brave young people.

The 3 of them all nodded in unison, to which Stacey was shocked by, but Branch only revealed a smirk. He turned back around and walked away…

“Fine…follow me to Dynasty Headquarters…” says Branch.

  Chapter 7

  Dynasty of Atlas

The trio Luke, Tatyana, and Akira all walk with Branch and Stacey towards the gold skyscraper that is the Dynasty of Spheres H.Q. They all head inside, and the trio is amazed at the scenery of just the entrance. Many people are at work, at their desks doing paperwork or computer work, along with a few Dynasty Soldiers talking casually to other fellow soldiers. As the trio walk past, a few fellow soldiers’ nods towards the 3 of them, and the trio nods back at them.

They all reach a large elevator to which Stacey opens. She allows Branch and the others to head in before her, and when they enter, she goes in last, and presses ‘9’ and ‘0’, before hitting enter, making the elevator door close. They then are lifted in this glass elevator, and the trio is amazed to see through the many floors of this building.

“Looks like your average office building…” says Luke, looking unimpressed.

“You’re quite right about that…! But aren’t most buildings made to look that way?” says Branch.

“…Eh, I guess?” replies Luke, shrugging. Branch smiled as the elevator continued to make a smooth ride up.

[Dynasty of Spheres H.Q./ Monitor Room]

Inside is the Calamita Team, who appear back in their original clothing.

“Fuck, I can’t believe that actually worked!” says a surprised Victoria.

“I just called up my baby girls, and everyone is safe,” says Saul before letting out a sigh of relief.

“Yup, everyone’s fine. That Operation really worked,” replies Victoria, looking relieved.

“So, we really are in a replica of Atlas…just deep underground,” says Daichi.

“Crazy, isn’t it? I heard rumors of such a thing, but I couldn’t believe it. A land as big as this, having a replica right below it? Nonsense! But…wow…!” replies Victoria.

“Still…I can’t believe all that just went down…!” says Saul, having a more serious tone now.

“I bet you those guys are aliens aligned with the Solars!” says Victoria.

“I might have to agree. As to how they had those battle armor on, and to do as much as for cause the destruction of Atlas…it had to have been the Solars,” says Daichi.

“Yeah…and they were damn strong as well…!” says Saul, rubbing his chin. “That big guy can sure take a punch.”

“And that guy with the glasses…he had to have been the mastermind behind all this. Maybe he’s the Solars leader!” says Victoria.

“We still don’t know the answers. What we do know…is that those three caused the destruction of the nation of Atlas…so now what is Branch going to do?” says a curious Daichi.

“True, he makes the final calls. I also hope Cosmos and Galaxus are ok as well...” replies Victoria.

“Yeah, with them also being on very high alert, I hope the Assassin Enforcers survived whatever they had to do. It’s only two young people on that team,” says Saul.

“SEAL and the Giga Team should be fine though…however still, it’s been a very fucked up day guys,” says Daichi.

“You know, I just heard that Branch is thinking of bringing in a LOT of soldiers, this time, around,” says Saul.

“What for? We, the Calamita Team can handle this large threat ourselves!” replies Victoria.

“Then again, that huge man winded us out, and that woman had a chance to end me there had we fought longer…” replies Daichi.

“Damn, you were really that tired out?” says a surprised Victoria.

“Who knows what else they can pull up their sleeves…” says a curious Saul.

“Well if Branch is really going to recruit that many people, I know one thing: Luke will NOT be one of them,” says Victoria.

“Akira surely won’t be either, despite how much he secretly wants to…” says Daichi.

“My babies won’t be joining either. They’re safe in my house living luxuriously off my MMA money, and that’s that!” shouts Saul.

“My goodness…I need tea to relax. What a horrible day this has been,” says Daichi, rubbing his head looking tired.

“I second on that gramps!” replies Victoria, resting her hand on Daichi’s shoulder, however as soon as she did, Daichi appeared to look annoyed.

“How many times do I have to tell you, NOT TO CALL ME GRAMPS?!” shouts Daichi, making Victoria quickly run and hide behind Saul.

“Sorry Daichi!” says an apologetic Victoria embarrassingly smiling.

“Relax Daichi, we can have tea time on the 80th floor,” says Saul with a smile.

“Well then let’s go!” says an agitated Daichi, heading towards the elevator.

Before Daichi could get there, the elevator door opens, and the Calamita Team are shocked to find Branch and Stacey walk out with Luke, Tatyana, and Akira.

“Sis!” shouts a relieved Luke, racing over and hugging Victoria.

“B-bro! What the…?!” says a surprised, yet confused Victoria.

Tatyana walks over and bumps knuckles with a confused Saul, and Akira walks towards Daichi with a nod, but Daichi does not respond back with a nod, but by turning his attention to Branch.

“What’s the meaning of this? Why are they here?” questions Daichi.

“We’re here to help father,” replies Akira with a serious tone.

“…What do you mean by help?” says Daichi, appearing to look angry towards Akira.

“We’re going to take Atlas back Daichi!” says Luke, confronting Daichi.

“We’re going to become Dynasty soldiers,” says Tatyana, darting her eyes at Daichi.

“WHAT?!” shouts the Calamita Team in unison.

“Y-y-you can’t do that?! Aren’t you guys in school?!” shouts a shocked Victoria.

“You guys are young, with much more life ahead of you! Don’t do this life we live on a daily! It’s dangerous!” says Saul.

“After the events transpired, you’re telling me you 3 want to join?!” shouts an angry Daichi.

“After the events, that transpired…seeing those innocent people murdered all over the place…and even at the hill…!” says Luke, appearing angry and tightening his fist, to which Victoria was shocked by discovering.

“We cannot let our lives go by seeing all of that first hand!” shouts Akira.

“We want to avenge all those lives that were lost. Whether you guys like it or not, we’re joining and helping you guys, because this war has just shifted into even a bigger threat than before,” says Tatyana.

“No, this is not happening! You guys are NOT going to become soldiers!” says Victoria, crossing her arms.

“…Well TT, if this is what you want to do…” says Saul, shrugging.

“…Are you sure about this, Akira?” says Daichi, looking straight at Akira.

  “Saul,
I’m already pumped,” says Tatyana, cracking her knuckles, smirking at Saul.

“I’m ready for this father. This is what our countless training was for. I can finally use it for something useful…! To save everyone…” says Akira.

“Wait, huh?” says a confused Victoria, “Saul, Daichi, you’re fine with this suddenly?

“Well, they’re full grown adults now. They’re not babies anymore,” says Saul, smiling.

“He’s right. They make their own decisions…despite this one not being a good one…I can’t control them,” says Daichi.

“C’mon guys were we not just agreeing not to let them go along with this?!” says Victoria.

“Sister,” says Luke, turning to Victoria. Victoria was shocked to look towards Luke who appeared to be very serious in this matter.

“…Wherever you guys were; we were the first to witness the chaos. It’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen. We 3 could not just sit by and go by with life after seeing that. We’ve seen even children die, Victoria!” says an angry Luke.

Everyone in the room heard Luke’s words, and could not say a word, including Victoria, who looked at Luke with regret.

“Please Victoria…! This is a decision I must take. The only way I’ll regret it is if I die…! And that is something that will NOT happen,” says Luke.

“…Dammit…!” mutters Victoria, turning her back from Luke, “…Alright…I…would not mind it.”

Victoria is suddenly wide-eyed to find Luke hugging her from behind.

“Thank you, sister…! I won’t let you down…!” says Luke.

  “…Yeah…!” says Victoria, smiling.

“Well, it appears this ordeal has been dealt with. I brought you 3 here so you would get permission from the Calamita Team. Now that that has been accomplished, you may return home,” says Branch.

“Alright Unc, see you later,” says Tatyana, punching lightly onto Saul’s chest before heading towards the elevator.

“I’ll tell mom to cook your favorite,” says Akira, smiling at Daichi. Daichi sent Akira a light nod with a smile as Akira headed for the elevator.

“Go have sex with your girlfriend. Have fun, eh?” says Victoria, smiling while patting Luke’s head.

“D-don’t say that here!” shouts Luke, pushing Victoria’s hand away from his hair before storming off towards the elevator.

The 3 of them quickly head into the elevator and make their departure, leaving Branch and Stacey with the Calamita Team, and as soon as those 3 left, Branch turns to the Calamita Team with an angered look on his face.

Here we go…, thought Stacey, looking at Branch’s angered face.

“Calamita Team. After all the missions, you’ve accomplished over the years, this has to have been the most unprofessional I’ve you saw you all. This was a very, very bad job on your end,” says Branch, “It appears you all will need tweaks in your performance for this upcoming war.”

“Listen to me, Branch…! With the events that transpired, we never would’ve thought those terrorists would have such intelligence, and even weaponry to fight against us! It was a shock to us!” says Stacey, “We did not know what we were up against, PLUS, if you listened to what I’ve says, and placed Dynasty Soldiers instead of just security guards with pistols, this would’ve been handled a little better. Who knows where that chief guard hired those guards since 3 of those guards are now responsible for ending Atlas as a whole. I don’t know what was into you today Branch, but I have to put the blame on you! You lowered the defense on Atlas City, and I want to know why you did such a thing!”

“But this nation has always been on high alert! What nonsense are you speaking Stac”-

“Yes, of course, this land has always been on high alert! But for some reason on Atlas City, you decided not to put extra protection there! We’re in a war against robots that fall from the fucking sky! The blood of Daimus and all those people slaughtered are all on your hands!” shouts Stacey, cutting Branch off.

“…No, it’s on the Calamita’s hands,” replies Branch, pointing towards the Calamita Team.

“…Excuse me?” says Victoria, looking irate towards Branch, “Branch, we tried our best, but it was clear those guys were on a different level than us! We’ve never faced anyone to that caliber before! We fought nothing but weak, massive batches of the Solar bots over the years! Those 3 guys were strong, but the solar bots were mere weaklings!”

“Well, you should’ve summoned Drisis! Doing so would’ve really helped in this situation, despite Drisis only operating for 15 minutes,” replies Branch.

“You’re right! I should’ve done that, but the main mission was for us to take out the terrorists who assassinated King Daimus, and retrieve the King’s body,” says Victoria.

“Branch we did our best. We’ve never faced someone like that ever! It’s over now! Lives are lost every day. The best we can do is to regroup and think better and bigger for next time,” says Saul.

“…Good job Calamita. Because of you 3, many lives were lost, and now even your loved ones have to go to war,” says Branch, before heading for the elevator and leaving. After he leaves, Saul lets out an agitated groan before punching a steel wall, which startles everyone in the room except Stacey, Victoria, and Daichi.

“That fucker…! He never takes full responsibility for SHIT!” shouts Saul.

“The next time he pulls shit like this, it’ll be the last, I promise that,” says Daichi, “I don’t care if I have to be sent to the death penalty for it.”

“I know that’s right,” replies Victoria.

“Listen guys just cool down; it’s been a stressful day for everyone. Branch may not see it, but I do. You guys did your absolute best, and that’s what counts. Had you guys not even been here things would be way worse,” says Stacey.

“…So, Stacey, when are we going to head back up there and investigate things?” questions Victoria.

“…It’s going to be quite some time before they can head back up there to find out what’s going on,” replies Stacey, looking disappointed.

“…Alright. C’mon boys let’s get the fuck out of here,” says Victoria heading for the elevator, with Daichi and Saul following behind. The Calamita Team enter and look on at Stacey with anger in their eyes. Stacey could do nothing but shake her head in disappointment before the elevator door closes and sends them down. Stacey turns around and looks up at the main monitor.

“…I need a visual overhead view of Atlas,” orders Stacey.

“Yes, ma’am,” replies a male operator.

In seconds, Stacey looks on in curiosity, finding the nation of Atlas completely transformed. The buildings that once were, were somehow reconstructing themselves through the purple fog seeping through the streets into black buildings.

…It looks as if it’s transforming into a different world…! thought Stacey.

“Solars…they’ll pay for this, dearly…!” says Stacey, clenching her right hand tightly.

  Chapter 8

  Day after Yesterday

A week has passed since the events that have unfolded in Atlas…

The entire nation of Atlas has now been populated into the underground. It was quite the surreal experience for everyone to see. People couldn’t have believed that an exact replica of their land was formed right underneath the original. It was as if they lived in a virtual reality world, but it was not; This has become their new home, for now.

During this week in the Nation of Underground Atlas, Branch Nicoson and Stacey Jin made a national meeting, uncovering the events that have transpired. However, despite what they have told the people of Atlas, many people were still left with many questions, as to how the construction of Underground Atlas even began. No one knew such a thing was possible.

As for the king of Atlas, King Daimus, his body was retrieved, and a proper burial was held in place of his honor in the Atlas Coliseum where millions attended the event. His burial, along with the thousands slaughtered on
that horrible day, were buried in the center of the arena. It was a very tragic moment for the land of Atlas, to have all seen their leader slaughtered so suddenly.

As of now, there are no plans to who will be appointed a new leader, but Branch Nicoson, Dynasty of Atlas Army Chief will take full responsibility into what happens next…

  [Atlas City/ Gun Range]

Luke is inside of a gun range, firing at targets with a black pistol. Many targets move around in front of him, however, Luke’s eyes are focused, shooting every single target down with a head shot. Beside Luke is Victoria, arms crossed silently watching Luke taking down the targets easily.

  “…Go Dual,” says Victoria.

Quickly, Luke whips out from his left waist another black pistol, and this time more targets scramble around in front of Luke. Luke keeps himself focused, continuing to fire with both pistols this time. Victoria looks on with a serious look on her face watching Luke amazingly taking down all targets, before Luke quickly lowers both weapons down, and continuously presses the trigger, as nothing but clicks is heard. Luke drops the bullets and looks up, finding an LCD screen in front of him revealing his score of 98% shooting accuracy. Victoria looks up at the score as well before patting Luke on the shoulder. Luke looks towards Victoria, and he sees that Victoria looks concerned about something.

  “…So, how’d I do?” asks Luke.

“…Are you sure you really want to go on with this?” replies Victoria?

“…Of course I do,” says Luke.

“…You’re going to be training constantly for 3 months before heading back up there to inspect it,” says Victoria.

“I understand that. I only have a few days before heading off to the training camp located in Laxvis City,” replies Luke.
