Just Her Luck [Lucky, Montana] (Siren Publishing Ménage Amour) Page 3

by Beverly Price

Cooper went downstairs and cleaned up the kitchen and headed out to the barn. Since Cash was not happy with the fact that Cooper had a houseguest, he was returning home early from his hunting trip with Wes and Grady. Cash had had bad luck with women in the past who only wanted him for the money and wanted him to move to the larger cities. Cash was the brains out of the two of them. Even though they were born only fifteen minute apart, Cash took it upon himself to be big brother. They both went to college, but Cooper went back the ranch and made a home there, while Cash went and conquered the world, one computer at a time. Karrie was the reason Cash had issues. However, in the end, he came back and ran the ranch with Cooper.

Karrie had played Cash as the damsel in distress. She had claimed to be down on her luck, and Cash took her in and gave her his heart. Cooper had come to the city to meet her, and she instantly took to him as well. It was the perfect arrangement for both men, as it was always their desire to have a ménage relationship. Cash was happy about sharing her with Cooper, but when Karrie had started playing one against the other to get what she wanted, Cooper left to go back home to Lucky. Karrie started to make plans for her and Cash to get married and travel around the world. However, when Cash started doing some serious looking into her previous life, he found she had done this to two other men. Marrying them, and then divorcing them, taking half of their money. Cash ended it that day and went home.

He still worked with computers, designing programs for various companies from time to time. Cash had invested money when he had it, and the fact that the family itself was well-off didn’t hurt. The Jackson family worked hard for everything they owned, and it showed.

Cooper took a deep breath and counted the hours that went by as he went to the barn and finished brushing down Lucky Lady. She was Cooper’s prized horse and as gentle as her owner. However, in the corner, Billy the Kid was kicking up a storm. Why his brother named the poor horse that was beyond him. He heard the truck doors slam as he made his way up the main house.

Cash had had a long couple of days and was tired. He wanted to wash up, eat, then go to bed. He had not expected to be home so soon, but when Coop had called that he had a guest at the house, it took him by surprise. It was the Lucky way of doing things. However, sometimes people get burned, and Cash did not want this happen to Coop as well.

Getting out of the truck, he saw Coop walking up to the house from the barn. He and his brother shared the same features. However, Coop had more of a rugged look to him, Cooper preferred to have longer hair, and usually didn’t care what anyone thought about his appearance. There was something about Cooper that both people and animals gravitated toward. Cooper was more open and carefree with everyone around him. It took a while for Cash to feel the same around the ranch hands, and even the people in town. Even though both of them had grown up here, people preferred to speak to Cooper, then Cash. Cash had always been the brains of their operations, never taking a backseat to anyone. However, lately it had been that Coop took the reins of this ranch and he followed. That was why he needed to get away. When Wes and Grady called and said they wanted to go hunting, he agreed. It was a great way to get rid of stress. Cash had still been dealing with everything that happened before returning home. Karrie had fucked him over good. His instincts were wrong, and now he needed to find a way to regain control of his life again.

“Hey, Cash, how was the hunt?” Cooper walked over and held open the door for Cash as he walked into their house. It was a large ranch-style home that had five bedrooms. It had been their grandparents’ before they had passed. Cash and Cooper had made some upgrades to modernize it more, but it still needed something else. Cooper went to the fridge and pulled out two beers and set one down in front of Cash.

“So spill,” was all Cash said after he drank down half his beer.

“Not too much to tell right now. I got a feeling something is off. Her name is Riley Connor, and I accidently found her in the ditch in the highway heading into town. She was unconscious when I got there.” He continued to explain about how she had nothing left and he didn’t want to leave her all alone on the street after such an ordeal. Cash knew that Cooper would purposely leave out how she looked, because he knew that he would jump to conclusions and say he did it because she was hot. Granted, she probably was. Cooper was always the ladies’ man, and couldn’t stop himself from helping a woman in distress.

Cash listened as Cooper said he was going to run a background check on her. Just when Cash said he was going to do the same thing, something caught the corner of his eye. He wasn’t sure what he was looking at for a minute. She was tiny, maybe about five foot three or four. She had wavy auburn hair that hung down to cover her breasts, which were just begging to be nipped into submission by him. She had the most inspiring blue eyes as she looked right at him. She wore only a button-up shirt that barely covered the middle of her creamy, lush thighs. Those legs were slim and tiny, but he was sure they could hook around his waist as he pounded his cock into her over and over as she begged for more. Oh yeah, he like that idea a lot. This must be his new houseguest, and his brother had some explaining to do.

“Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to interrupt, but I heard voices and you were not next to me when I woke.” Riley didn’t know what to think. She was seeing double, though she could tell the two apart. Coop had longer hair in the front and wider shoulders than the man she guessed was Cash. Also, their eye color was slightly different. Cooper had smoky brown eyes, while Cash had the same smokiness, but in a lighter brown. One thing was for sure, they both were drool worthy. She had to take slow, deep breaths as she wasn’t sure she was not still sleeping, when a hand wrapped around her waist and brought her to sit at a small table in the kitchen.

“Darlin’, you should have stayed in bed. Are you hurting any?” Cooper was sweet as he leaned down and looked into her eyes.

Riley felt herself blush. “I do have a slight headache still and my neck is still sore, but I am okay. I can take some Tylenol for the pain if you have any?”

Cash was confused. If she was in a car accident where she sprained her damn wrist, then why she was taking fucking Tylenol for that? She needed to be in bed and stay there. Apparently, his little brother did not lay down the law, but he would, and then lay with her. She was such a sweet little thing. He could see how Cooper had fallen. “Didn’t the doctor give you anything for pain?”

Riley turned her head to look at him. “He did, but I didn’t get it filled yet. It’s okay, though. I’ll be fine. I just need to get steady on my feet, and then I will be out of your hair. I really do appreciate the help, but I can’t stay too long. I can look for a motel if I can just borrow a phone book and phone.” Riley was hesitant to ask as she saw a fierce look coming from both Cooper and Cash.

“Cooper will go and get your prescription filled and a couple other things until you are well enough to go into town. I will take you back up to bed where you need to stay put, and then you and I will talk.” And with that, Cash had reached over and scooped her up like a rag doll and headed to the stairs. Riley was going to say something when Cash cut her off. “Not another word, Riley. You’re hurt, and it is our job to make sure you’re better. You can’t do that if you’re running around. Not to mention you are practically not wearing anything. Not that I mind, but, kitten, you will have men pawin’ you as soon as you leave the ranch.” He kept a tight hold on her, her bare legs tight against his arms. He could feel her tense up from fright, but could also smell her arousal. He kept walking until he reached Cooper’s room and placed her on the bed. He pulled the covers up to her lap and sat down next to her.

Riley didn’t know what to do. She didn’t mean to be a burden to anyone, but also didn’t want to make Cash mad as well by telling him to back the fuck off. She was stuck in between a rock and a hard place. She wasn’t looking for help, though she was trying to stay alive. When she was living in the city, she felt invisible, and now she needed to remain that way. Riley knew she brought troubl
e with the cartel but wanted to keep a low profile. Riley had contacted the FBI while at the bank. The next day, the agency had sent someone over to gather her statement. At first the agent did not believe her, and told her if she had any other information to give him a call. The agent seemed off to her and asked her if she told anyone else about the money. Once she told him no, he seemed satisfied. However, Riley could not let the money disappear. Taking it upon herself, Riley set up a trap with an account so the money could be transferred into it without the cartel knowing what was happening without inside help.

She never got a chance to tell the FBI that she had changed the account numbers. That was the real reason the drug cartel wanted her. Riley knew there was a leak in the FBI somewhere as they found her in Portland. She had trusted the FBI to keep her safe. She contacted the agent on the card she had received and was informed someone would come and get her. The next day after work, the cartel had found her. She could no longer trust the FBI to help her. But how could she trust anyone now? The cartel wanted her dead, and she needed to run.

Riley decided to do what Cooper and Cash asked for now, but she would leave when they left for work. Yeah, that was what she would do. She could probably hitch a ride with someone. She had her passport still in her purse. Thank god for that. She would have to borrow some pants and socks, and then she was gone.

She didn’t want to look at him as his eyes made her pussy scream with need just like Cooper’s did. When he ordered her to keep quiet, something in her brain clicked that he meant business, but yet she wanted more. Tears threatened to take hold once again as she looked down, not wanting to have him notice. She really needed to stop this crying thing, too. She had never cried this much, but then again she had never been as horny. Maybe the two were getting their wires crossed and her brain finally was fried.

Cash noticed that maybe he was too hard on her. It was his downfall, but he was a Dom and was not sure how else to act when turned on by someone as lush as Riley. Her sweet smell had flooded his nose as he walked up the damn stairs, and he had wanted to take her right there against the wall. She obviously wasn’t wearing any panties, and he could just stick his cock into her until she screamed for more and wrung his cock dry. He kept walking until he reached Cooper’s room and placed her on the bed. “Look, Riley, I know you don’t know me from a hole in the wall, but you need to know I and Coop take our responsibility seriously.” He was going to say she just needed to suck it up when he caught sight of the tears threatening to leave her eyes. She looked like a frightened little kitten, innocent and oblivious to how damn cute she was. “Oh come on, kitten. I didn’t mean to make you cry. Please stop. You’re breaking my heart. I didn’t mean to yell at you. I am just trying to figure out what you want me to do. Please let us help you. I am not good at this thing. Coop is the sweet-talker. I am the doer.” He moved away as a single tear left the corner of her eye. He leaned down and placed a kiss on her cheek to help calm her down.

She couldn’t let Cash know how much he was affecting her. She was not use to having a strong man pay any attention to her, let alone two men. When Cash kissed her cheek after wiping the tear away, she could breathe in his scent. He smelled musky and woody and all man. Definitely not like the one other guy she had been with before. They had smelled stagnant and of computers. Cash lingered longer and then looked down into her eyes. She found she could just look into his eyes forever. There was something enchanting about them.

Cash was captivated when Riley looked up at him with those damn big blue eyes. She looked lost, like most people did when they came to Lucky. She needed help, and he and Coop were going to help her. He knew better, but with his damn cock pushing to get out of his jeans, he did what only a fool would have done and kissed her. He lowered his lips to hers, and she pulled away slightly but then leaned into the kiss. Her lips were soft as velvet and hesitant, but then became demanding as he deepened the kiss. Cash rolled them so he was now lying on the side of her, pulling her with him. He pushed his tongue into her mouth as she echoed his challenge. He plundered her mouth with determination as reached down and twisted her nipple between his thumb and index finger, making it hard as a rock. She moaned in response and let him take the lead. Cash slowly started to kiss his way down her luscious body, unbuttoning the shirt while slowly moving one hand to cover her hairless mound. He loved a woman with clean lips, as he loved to eat a woman out. He would die a happy man just drowning in a woman’s juice. His cock was screaming at him to take her hard and fast, but he had to remember she was just in an accident. Shit, what was he doing? She was just in an accident and complained of being in pain and he was about to fuck her into the bed.

Riley couldn’t help but feel the tension releasing from her body when Cash was running his hands over her breasts. She was getting hot and wanted to explode at his slow pursuit to the finish line when she felt a sudden chill. Cash had stopped and had his eyes closed, taking slow, deep breaths. “Cash, did I do something wrong?” Insecurity plagued her.

Cash took another deep breath and then pushed her back down as she tried to sit up. “No, kitten, you didn’t do anything wrong, but I lost my head for a minute. You were just in an accident and need time to recover. I don’t want to hurt you. I promise we can play when the doc gives you the all clear and you don’t hurt anymore. Okay?” Cash was obviously trying to be a gentleman, but it was evident by the bulged in his jeans that he was hurting.

“Please?” Riley said in a whisper.

“I really wanna play, kitten. I do, but the way I want you is hard and dirty, and I don’t think you’re ready for that. I can take the ache away some other way until Coop returns with your meds. But you have to promise to lay still and let me do all the work.” Riley nodded to his response. Cash finished unbuttoning her shirt and opened it for all to see her breasts. “God, kitten, your tits are beautiful. I could just stay here all day feasting on them, but I know kittens like cream, and I wanna taste yours. I bet you’re wet for me, too, leaking your special nectar just for me.” Cash brought his mouth over her right nipple and started to suck and bite the nipple until the slight bit of pain turned into pleasure.

Then he turned his head and started the same pattern with the other one. Cash moved his hand down to her naked pussy and slowly rubbed between her slit. Riley was soaked and oh so ripe. He released her breast with a small pop and planted kisses down her body, only stopping a couple times to take small nips at her skin. Slowly he moved his large hands from her breasts to her legs, bypassing her sex. Once he finished going down one side, he started going up the other. Cash could tell Riley was responding to his touch. He knew her need grew as every one of her nerve endings was going to blow at just his touch, and Cash made sure he didn’t touch her weeping pussy yet. Finally, he pushed her legs apart with his shoulders and lowered his nose to breathe in the scent of her sex. “God, kitten, you smell so good.” With that, he slowly brought his tongue out and slid it right over her clit, and she jumped. Cash took his hands and steadied her hips. “Don’t move, baby, or I will stop,” he commanded. He continued his pursuit. He slowly licked and sucked her clit into his mouth and hummed, sending vibrations running through her body. He released her clit and moved his tongue down to her opening and thrust it inside, lapping up all her cream like a starving man before inserting a finger to her pussy.

Riley felt like she was on fire. No man had ever touched her like this before. She knew close to nothing about sex, and already Cooper had shown her tenderness, and now Cash was devouring her like she was the last thing on earth. Her mind was swimming with feeling, and she had so much running through her head, and she just let go to the sensation. When Cash added a second finger to her already-wet pussy, she let out a cry. “Please,” was all she could breathe out as he hit the secret spot down deep inside her, and she shot out of the room, out of the house, and out to the sky, screaming his name, and he took no mercy on her. Slowing her breathing down, she looked at him as he sat up, licking his lips like a child
cleaning up after a Popsicle. Damn, that’s hot.

“Feel better, kitten?” Cash said as he started getting off the bed.

“Stay with me,” Riley asked in a whisper. He didn’t say anything, just took off his boots and shirt and climbed in next to her.

“Sleep,” was all he commanded as Riley let the wave of comfort let her mind wonder.

Riley had never known such kindness. Both men had shown her warmth and a willingness to honestly help her. How could she possible put these men into danger? She knew she should leave, but for once in her life, Riley felt like she had nothing left to live for. Could she open up and be with them, even if it was short-lived? The cartel would come for her. She knew this to be true, but when? She didn’t know how much more she could take. Cooper and Cash had a life here in Lucky, a good one. She, however, had nothing to offer them but trouble. Riley was determined that even for a short time she would take the time to know them and to try to be happy. The men would get tired of her anyway. All men did. Once she was fully healed and found a way to leave, she would. Now with her mind made up, that she indeed would leave, she went to sleep, relishing in the safety of both men while she still had it.

  Chapter Four

Cash lay still as he watched Riley’s breathing even out and slow down as sleep overwhelmed her. She was a vision, her hair flowing down around the pillow, and her porcelain skin glowed underneath the dark blue of the covers. Cash took this time to slip out of bed and head downstairs to start dinner while he waited for Cooper to return with what he could find out about Riley. He knew he had all the makings of a stew in the fridge and figured it was a filling dish to help bring back some of the weight Riley had clearly lost.

Once downstairs, Cash spotted Cooper pulling in the drive and hopping out of the truck. He carried two bags with him. One he suspected had some clothes that he’d picked up at the local shop next to the pharmacy, and the other was a bag of groceries. “Hey, bro,” Cooper shouted as he walked into the house.
