United around their children, they spoke of the past and of the future. At last they could share their links to their forebears dating back to ancient times, and they could dare to look ahead and imagine the shape of their scions’ tomorrows. That moment and its exultation would be but one among countless others stretching backward and forward in time, connecting all who were with all who would be, uniting them in the dream incarnate of Uzaveh the Infinite.
