They parted, both slightly embarrassed by their display of affection.

“If you could keep an eye on my house,” she said. “I’ll have to see about getting my stuff later.”

“No problem. I’ll take care of it.”

She stepped back, knowing Cameron was waiting for her. “I should get going. I’ll be in touch,” she said. She gave Jim’s hand one last squeeze, then headed out into the sunshine.

Cameron was leaning against the rig, watching her. Andrea paused, letting her gaze travel over her, stopping when their eyes met. What she saw there caused her heart to tighten, her breath to catch. How did she ever think she could let this woman walk out of her life?

  “All set?”

Andrea nodded, climbing the three steps into the rig. Once Cameron shut the door, Andrea moved into her arms.

“I’m so in love with you,” she murmured against her lips.

Cameron released her, her fingers softly brushing the hair away from Andrea’s face. “And I’m in love with you,” Cameron whispered. “I couldn’t leave without you.”

Andrea’s eyes slipped closed, loving the gentle pressure of Cameron’s touch. As she’d told Jim, she never thought she would find this. She took a deep breath, finally moving away from Cameron’s touch. They had some cliffs to get to.

Andrea smiled, allowing herself one more quick kiss.

“Okay then. Let’s get this show on the road.”
