I Belong to Him Page 12

by Ava Danielle

“I should probably go. Do you know when you’ll be released?” I ask.

Michael looks up, “Not yet, but I’ll let you.. umm.. never mind.” “You’ll let me know, that sounds good.”

As I’m about to say more, there’s a knock on the door. “Come in,” Michael says and Ryan enters. “Hey man,” he says as he walks over, “Hey Addison.” I smile at him, “Hey Ryan. I better get going now,” and I leave.

I started to feel uncomfortable. Not because Ryan was there, he and I are still good friends after all this. He’s the type to stay out of other relationships and supports whatever decision they make. He stands by his friend, and I’m glad that even after all this, Michael still has a friend.

I leave the hospital, and once I get to the car, I finally breathe. He knows about the divorce. Brandon and I can start living. If only there wasn’t his ex-wife. She’s not just any ex-wife, she’s got a vendetta against me, and that worries me.

I drive to our bookshop in hopes to get my mind off some things. Work should help. Kristina is here and I think a healthy dose of girl talk could brighten my day.

After we chit chat and I relay all the latest news to her, we lay back on the couch,

“How did life get so messy all of a sudden?” she asks me.

“It’s not messy, it just has some bumps in it,” I poke at her.

I jump off the couch, “It’s time to get to work. I need to make a coffee order and look over the books.”

Then Kristina gets up, “You suck,”

“And according to Brandon, pretty good too.” I spit back at her. “Eww Addi, shut up. No one wants to hear that,” she looks at me in disgust.

I smile as I unpack some of our deliveries.

  Chapter 25

“Honey, where are the bags we bought at Target earlier?” I hear Sophia as I’m about to ring Brandon’s doorbell. “They are on the kitchen counter.” I hear Brandon say.

Honey? I listen a little while longer.

“I can’t wait to wear my new bra and panties. I hope you will like them,” I hear her say.

Wait, what? She bought lingerie and can’t wait to show him.

I start to panic, when I hear Brandon’s voice get loud. “I have no interest to see what you are wearing under your clothes or any clothes that you are wearing for that matter.” Finally a smile grows on my face. That bitch almost had me.

I finally ring the doorbell; I can’t listen to anymore of her bullshit. He answers the door with the biggest grin. “Finally a face I like to see. Hey Beautiful,” he leans in and kisses me. He embraces me, passion running through him it seems. He doesn’t seem to want to let go when Sophia comes around the corner “Who’s at the door, baby?” when she stops dead in her tracks and just stares at me. But not just stares. It’s that mean, evil look, that ‘I’m gonna kick your ass’ look.

I continue to stay in Brandon’s arm. “I was hoping you’ll come over for dinner tonight, with Benjamin of course. Emma has been asking about him. I think she misses her Minecraft buddy,” I say looking up at Brandon.

  “What’s Minecraft?” Sophia chimes in.

I ignore her as I bite my lip looking at Brandon. He whispers in my ear, “You know what that does to me,” I just smile at him.

I’m hoping with that he’ll drop any and everything and come with me right now. That would give us some time before the girls get home. Sophia is standing three feet away watching us. Jealous maybe? Or working on her next ‘get him back’ plan? “Sounds perfect. I need to run to the office to get a couple of things taken care of and then we’ll be over,” Brandon says, kissing my forehead.

“What about me, Brandon? What will I be doing? I have no car and I thought we’d have dinner together tonight. We bought all those groceries.” Sophia rambles on. “I bought those for Benjamin and I because we were running low on food, not because you are here and in this dreamland of us getting back together. I told you earlier, that you needed to figure out your plan, you couldn’t stay with us forever. I wanted you close to Benjamin to get to know your son again, but that has nothing to do with me. It’ll give you time to figure out what you’re going to do. I’m going to have dinner with my girlfriend and the kids.” he shouts at her as he grabs my hand and we walk out.

He slams the door, huffs, and pulls me along with him. “Brandon!” I yell. He stops, turns around, takes my entire body into him, slams his lips against mine, and forces his tongue into my mouth. Fuck this feels good. It sends a shiver through my entire body. He releases, slowly, and with ease, looking into my eyes. There’s fire in his eyes. Need. I lick my lips, bite them, and look into his eyes. He smirks at me, “Let’s go.” I look at him, “Where are we going?”

  “Somewhere I can fuck you.”

My eyes got big. I like this side of Brandon.

  The demanding.

He says what he thinks, no beating around the bush. I love that I get to see different sides to him. He’s not just the soft, caring, loving, type. He knows what he wants. He goes for what he wants. I admire that in him.

He goes to the passenger side of my car, opens the door, “Get in.” I just look at him, but not going to argue. He walks back around and gets into the driver’s seat. He starts my car and we drive off. I’m not really sure where we are going. He drives through town, back out of town, and we’re on a small road in the woods. One hand on the wheel, one hand holding my hand. He zooms by trees.

We pass by this gorgeous lake in the woods, he pulls in front of this cabin by the water. I look at him confused, “Benjamin and I come out here to get away and go fishing on the weekends,” he states as he gets out. I open the door, and he’s right there helping me out of the car. “Is it yours?” I ask him. “Yes. Do you like it?” I’m shocked, “It’s gorgeous, Brandon,” I say as I walk around and enjoy the view.

The sun is reflecting off the lake. It’s absolutely stunning out here. I don’t know why I’ve never seen this place. He takes my hand and leads me toward the house. We walk up two stairs, onto the front porch. Two white wicker chairs are sitting out front. He unlocks the door and we go inside. The dark wooden walls with rocks and stones make it feel so much like home. There are two brown couches, the fireplace bringing out their color, the big dining room table to entertain and the big windows to point out the lake, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful. The kitchen with green cabinets and the wood stove make it all work together perfectly.

  “Wow, Brandon. I’m speechless.”

He’s behind me, his arms wrapped around me, kissing my neck. He’s nibbling on my ears and it’s making me so wet. “Brandon,” I whisper. “Addison,” he whispers back and that’s my undoing.

He pushes me forward as we walk together to the couch; he’s still behind me holding me. He let’s go and sits down on the couch, pulls me onto his lap. My hands run through his hair. “Thank you for bringing me here,” I say to him.

He leans in and kisses me, this kiss means something. His lips run across mine, taking his teeth and pulling on my lips. He knows exactly where to bite me. “I want you, baby,” he whispers. “Then take me,” whisper to him.

His kiss deepens. His hands, all over my body. He’s moaning, more than usual. He lays me down onto the couch, lifts my favorite chevron skirt up, takes his finger and pushes into my pussy, so fast and rough. I moan and take him, fully.

“Fuck, you’re so wet for me.”

He touches me just the way I need to be touched. I moan, he watches me. I close my eyes and I still feel his eyes burning to me. I feel him watching my every move. My hips joining his movement.

He starts to pull at my shirt, pushing my bra out of the way, no respect for the bra, and starts to suck on my nipples, harder than usual, pulling them with his teeth. My moans grow louder, “That’s it baby, let me hear you,” he says through gritted teeth as he sucks my nipples. His hands squeezing my breasts, he’s so rough. He pulls his pants off, I still have my eyes closed, I hear the rip of the zipper, the sound of his jeans sl
iding down his legs, he’s back on top of me as he slides his cock deeper than ever before into my pussy. He pushes all the way to the shaft making me scream, “Brandon, Brandon, yes, more, deeper,” my eyes flutter open, I see him watching me. Insecurity hits me, “Keep them open baby, watch me cum inside of you,” as he jerks into me.

  Over and Over.

Until we both come together. “Fuck! That was hot!” he says as he slowly slides next to me, still wrapped into his arm. Half dressed, breathing hard. Trying to catch our breathe. “Mmmm hmmmm,” is all I get out.

He giggles. “Out of words, babe?”

I giggle. “No, Yes, I don’t know, enjoying the moment.”

He presses a kiss against my arm, “I love you.”

I turn to face him, “I love you too, you freak,” and I kiss him before he can say anything.

  Chapter 26

Dinner at my house is perfection. The kids are behaving, shocking. Brandon is helping me in the kitchen prepare the casserole. Actually, helping is an understatement. He’s too busy pinching my ass, biting my neck, kissing me, smacking my ass, playing with my tits, biggest distraction ever. I don’t mind though. I love all the affection he’s giving me.

We are having a great time. But we are interrupted by the door bell. It never fails. Brandon goes to open it. “Hey Michael.” I hear faintly. Oh shit. “Hey Brandon,” I hear Michael say as they come around the corner to the kitchen. “So I see they let you out of the hospital.” As I push the casserole into the oven. He chuckles, “What the fuck were they thinking, huh?” I laugh at him when I hear the girls running in from the living room, “Daddy!” I smile. This seems to be going perfectly. “You staying for dinner, Michael?” Brandon asks. I’m a bit taken back by it. I find it very sweet that Brandon is including Michael. “If it’s ok with Addison,” Michael looks my way. “I would love it. Cheyenne, set another plate on the table.”

Brandon comes into the kitchen, grabs two beers out of the refrigerator, kisses me on the forehead, and walks out to Michael. He’s extremely comfortable around my house, around me, and the kids. I’m so happy, overly happy. It’s been forever that I felt like this is exactly where I want to be in my life. My timer dings, casserole is done, when Brandon comes into the kitchen, “I heard the timer.” I smile at him, “Babe, go back out there and hang out, I’ve got this under control”

  “You sure?”

“You’re the best man ever, but yes, I’m sure.”

He kisses me on the lips, “And you’re the best girl ever.”

I add a couple spices on the casserole, admiring my view of the kids and guys.

Dinner went great. We talked, laughed, and enjoyed each other’s company. Michael and Brandon seem to be getting along. I’m not even going to question any of it, I’m going to relish the moment.

I get the kitchen cleaned up with the girls, Michael walks up, “I’m going to head out. Any of you girls spending the night tomorrow?” he asks them as they rinse the dishes.

  “Me, daddy.” Emma blurts out.

The other two are undecided, no surprise there.

Once Michael leaves, Brandon walks over to me. “How’d it go, babe?” I ask him as I put up the last of the dishes. I dry my hands off, and walk up to him, “Actually, pretty damn good,” he says smiling.

  “Perfect.”

Brandon comes up, takes my face and holds it tight with both his hands. “You make me so happy,” he says.

“You ready for bed?” I ask and wink at him.

He laughs, grabs my hand, “Lead the way my lady,” he says to me as he kisses my hand.

Brandon has some candles lit in the bedroom already, what a romantic he is. “Wow, Babe, did you do this?” I ask him.

He looks at me sideways, “Don’t believe in my skills?”

I laugh, “I never said that, silly. I’m just a bit blown away. You have had a surprise in store for me every day since I’ve known you now.”

He picks me up into his arms, kisses me, and lays me down on the bed.

“I like surprising you. There’s plenty more to come.”

We make love that night. Passionate, everlasting love. He kept me up half the night, but it was so worth it. The things he can do with this tongue, lips, and fingers are magical. I’m absolutely, madly in love with him.

The next morning, I drop the kids off to school, Brandon off so he can go to take care of his day. On my way to the coffee shop, I’m excited to finally have a routine again. It’s been forever. I miss Kristina, too. I’m not trying to desert her, but it sure feels like it lately.

I get to the coffeeshop, when I see police everywhere. What in the world is going on here? I run toward the door, slam it open, and see Kristina standing next to an officer. “Kris? What happened?” The officer excuses himself, taking notes as I hold her into my arm. She’s breathing really hard. “Kris? What happened?” I yell at her. She takes a deep breath, walks over to the counter, and hands me a piece of Paper.

  I’M TAKING WHAT’S MINE!

“What the fuck? Who wrote this?” I read the words over and over. “I don’t know. It was lying on the counter when I came in. The back door is busted in, the cash register is all kinds of fucked up and on the floor, and the money is all gone.”

Shocked I look at her. “Who the fuck would do something like this?”

We’ve had this place for a few months now, hell, it’s getting close to a year, everyone in this town loves coming here, if it’s not to buy a book, it’s to get a cup of coffee or vice versa. Everyone enjoys themselves. I can’t imagine anyone doing this. “Teenagers maybe?” I say as I read the same words over and over.

She looks at me, “Why the hell would they write that? Do you know how many times we’ve taken care of the kids in this town?”

She’s right. I can’t imagine any of them doing such a thing.

Jenny runs through the door, “What the hell happened here?” as she sees the cash register tossed on the floor.

  “Why are the police here?”

We tell her what we know and she looks just as shocked and confused as we are.

Kristina gives another statement to the police officer as a text from Brandon comes in. I was just about to text him what’s going on here. I read his text with one hell of an expression,

I had a nice little message from Sophia on the table when I got home. It says, “I took what I needed, thanks. I see you only have eyes for the bitch. Hope she makes you happy. Take care of Benjamin.” She took my fucking car and up and left. I have no idea where the hell she went. I need to report my car missing now. That woman is fucking hell.

I show Kristina the message after she finishes with the police officer.

“Do you think she was here and did this?” Kristina asks me.

I nod my head, “What are the odds of this happening to us and his car missing and ex-wife skipping out of town?”

  “You’re right, Shit.”

I decide to give Brandon a call because this is way too much to put in a text.

  Hey Baby

Hey Babe. Ummm.. I don’t know where to start. I came to the coffee shop and the police are here.

  What??

Just listen! The backdoor is busted in, the cash register is fucked up on the floor, all the money is gone, and the note ‘I’m taking what’s mine’ was sitting on the counter. You tell me that isn’t a coincidence with your car missing and note?

  Son of a Bitch

You need to go report your car missing, maybe they can find her, this has to be connected.

Yep, I agree. I’ll talk to you later, keep me updated. And be careful! I don’t trust the bitch.

Will do, babe. I love you

  I love you too

Kristina looks at me, “What’d he say?” I shake my head looking around our little place. “I’m glad she didn’t destroy much more. The money can come back in, but if she’d destroyed this place, I think I would’ve been pissed even more. He’s pissed. But since she pretty much stole
his car, it should be easier to find her.” She laughs and throws out the typical Kris smartness, “Unless she dumps the car somewhere and goes off into the unknown.”

I smack her, “Thanks bitch, that doesn’t help.”

She laughs, “Just saying. That bitch seems to be a master of destruction. I wouldn’t put it past her.”

  I hate when she’s right.

We get to cleaning up after the police officers have left. Order a new register, check. Get a new door put in by our handy man friend, George, check. Now, we sit and wait.

“I hate not hearing from Brandon,” I tell Kristina as I flip through a book drinking a cup of coffee. “Did you call Ryan and tell him?” I ask her looking over to her sitting across the bar from me. “Yeah, right after I got here and called the police. I was going to call you after I gave the officer my statement, but you walked in at the right time.”

I smile at her, “This is all crazy.”

I start to break out laughing. “Addison? Are you ok?” she asks me, as she joins in. We both laugh for what seems like forever.

Suddenly, we’re both kicked out of our trance when my phone rings.

  Hey Baby!

Hey Honey. Well, they found my car. No Sophia in sight. She left a note in it, says “Sorry” that’s it. Short and sweet. Police are looking for her, but chances of finding her are slim.
