“What do you think of these Adray?” The stunning young blond asked.

Rubbing her jaw, and staring at the image on the slat computer on the table before them, Adray’s green eyes lifted and scrutinized the young female.

She was slender, tall, wearing white hip huggers, and a simple sleeveless white camisole top covering her small breasts and she was bare foot.

She has a blond pixie cut, bangs that fell half way past her huge oval blue eyes. Her nose was small and delicate, cheek bones sky high and she had perfect white teeth, full lips and an aquiline jaw.

Adray dressed in a skin tight white body suit, cut off at the ankles, was barefoot also.

“I like it Jane...I think that color mascara and lipstick would be perfect for you.”

Jane, tilted her blue eyes at her girl friend, smiled, reached out and touched her face.

“You...I love you, you know. Thank you Adray, for everything.”

“Oh, stop it. You thank me every day and it’s us that owe you everything. Stop it, were best girl friends.”

Overcome with emotion Jane’s lips quivered as a tear fell down her high cheek bone.

She then smiled, and turned her gaze back at the computer screen that had a 2070 add on it for mascara and eyeliner, a beautiful blond model smiling back at her.

“I like the Black Midnight eye shadow, and the Sun Love lip gloss. Do you think that shade would enhance my lips?”

“Perfect doll...I don’t see how you could be more beautiful, but you could try.”

Blushing, Jane seemed to hesitate as her eyes closed and, then opened.

“Adray, I see it is almost morning time. A movie tonight, or a game of GO?”

“A movie sounds delicious, you choose. Goodnight my darling.”

  “Good night Adray.”

As Adray watched, the hologram that was Jane slowly deconstructed, it then vanished.

Standing, she smiled to herself, turned and walked through an open portal and then barefoot walked down a glass funnel hall. Moving though another door, she entered a gargantuan sized room filled with computers, cryo- sleep bed machines of every ilk, tubes, cables and lights everywhere.

Moving to a Cryogenic sleep chamber, she laid her palm on the domed glass and stared at the man she loved.

Krull in deep Cryogenic sleep, was covered in the pink fluid. In his mouth was a tube and his body was intact as it had been for five years later. Wires and tubes were connected to his body as well as a pair of head phones, with wires leading out of the chamber and connecting into another machine.

Adray Venus had kept her promise of a surprise for her girl friend Jane.

Understand that a girl’s heart and soul could die from loneliness and being separated from someone they loved, she had given Jane the surprise of never ending friendship.

Never needing sleep as a human did, and aging less than one year for every human’s ten, Adray, so compassionate, so loving, so caring had chosen not to join Krull in the chambers.

She had, and it had been easy for her, for she loved Jane, been her only decision.

Thus, she had sent Krull into a permanent state of Virtual Reality.

Turning her gaze, she looked at the low bed with the white sheets and down comforter struck next to Krull’s sleep chamber. From the VR machine, a cable led, with the small head phones attached to it

During the days when Krull was awake she spent every moment with him, loving him, laughing with him, and making vibrant and savage sex with him. Often she slept with him, or pretended to do so simply because she so loved the feel of his breath and skin on her skin.

More often than not, while he slept she spent every moment with Jane, doing what BBF’s always did. And that was to chat, chat, chat, gab, gab, gab shop, shop and shop on the real time 3-D image machines.

Two machines. Two great hearts. Two incredible souls connected by love, trust, respect, intelligence and laughter. That is what they had become.

Neither would ever be lonely ever again.

  Paradise

THERE was only one Sun, and it was golden vibrant and the warmth it sent down to the crushed tourmaline colored sea, was life giving.

The beach was granulated, sugar cube sand white. A hundred white gulls squawked in the teal blue sky as they drilled into the sea, feeding for their young.

Pods of dolphins, salt water spewing out of their blow holes, dove spiraled in and out of the surface cruising towards some mysterious place that only Dolphins are covey too.

A dozen Pelicans, in their V pattern, a meter off the surface flew in formation, being lifted by the thermal winds under their great wings.

With a black sarong cinched along her hips, and sitting on the sand, sipping an iced drink with a little purple umbrella stuck into it and the sun glinting off her Platinum skin, Adray stared though her Audrey Hepburn sunglasses out to sea. She had a necklace of blue flowers falling down along her breasts.

She then saw it, white water frothing and she smiled.

After a few moments, her smile grew and she stood to her full height.

There was Krull, in his black Speedo, and his skin was brown, salt water glistening off of it and he was muscled, and no sign of death or weariness were etched into his lined face.

Moving towards him, she took his mask, snorkel and fins, and wrapped her arm around his waist.

He faced her, hugged her and kissed her deeply. Her skin flashed a violet color from the kiss.

Their arms around each other hips they walked along the white sand towards their palapa, palm leaf and bamboo constructed house, rain forest in all-of-its natural splendor behind it. .

Once there Adray knew that she would feed him, and wash him and love him as she always had.

She would lay him under white sheets and he would sleep the sleep of the victorious warrior.

When he woke, and as she always had, she would still be there.
