“Yes. A single weekend with your brothers made you forget your place in this relationship. You need to learn about Age-Players so that this type of thing doesn’t ever happen again.”

“This makes no sense. What did I do that’s so terrible?”

“Think about it, Glenn. You’ve role-played as a submissive with the use of titles, but you haven’t immersed yourself in the mindset. When you implied that Cassandra would lose an intimate relationship because she messed up, that is the most frightening thing a Little can face. It’s betrayal to the fullest.”

“This is ridiculous. Don’t be so dramatic, Suzanne.”

“Dramatic? What are your hard limits in a relationship? What are the things that would be the end of the line and make you walk away? Answer me.” The woman struggled to control her temper. If she hadn’t fallen in love with the handsome idiot, he would be out on his ass in a heartbeat.

“I don’t know. Cheating on me, I guess.”

“You’ve never even thought about it, have you? You take for granted that a relationship is just going to exist without work. Let me tell you my hard limits, buddy.” She poked him in the chest as her eyes flashed angrily. “Lying to me, betraying my trust and being cruel to those I love. If I ever tell someone how they’ve hurt me and they don’t have enough integrity to apologize, they’re out. Same goes with lying. If I catch someone in a lie and they don’t accept responsibility, I’ll give them only one more chance to make things right. They’ve already lost my trust and respect, so that’s for them alone. Nothing more. You’re walking on the line right now because you refuse to accept how hurtful you were.”

“I think you’re blowing this out of proportion.”

“Am I? The only thing that she did was to scare me because I didn’t know where she went. She wasn’t even gone for long. When you shoved yourself in her face and told her Little to grow up, I can guarantee that it crushed her. You saw the look on her face and didn’t even care.”

Glenn looked down. “I had no idea. I just reacted.”

“The damage caused by those careless words may have thrown Cassie back to the beginning where she trusted no one,” Suzanne said, her own eyes flooding with angry tears. “How could you have been so cruel to that little girl? I don’t care if she doesn’t share your blood—she’s still your baby sister. You, of all people, know about the obstacles she’s faced and what it’s taken to work through them. She’s always looked up to you because you made her feel accepted when no one else did.”

  “Damn, Suz. I’m sorry. I didn’t know.”

“Ignorance is no excuse to be cruel. You are to stay in here and not move until I call you. Understand?”

  “Yes, Ma’am,” Glenn whispered.

Suzanne quickly made her way back to the kitchen and was relieved to see that Cassie had obeyed her. She wrapped her arms around the girl’s shoulders and pressed her face to her chest as she covered the blond head with kisses.

“I’m sorry, Baby. You know he didn’t know better.”

“I don’t want to lose you, too,” Cassie sobbed.

“You haven’t lost anyone, Sweetheart. Look at me,” Suzanne wiped the girl’s face with her hand. “I love you. You are as important to me as my biological daughters, and I will never, ever let you out of my life. I promise. You did scare me when you left without telling me. Promise never to do that again, okay?”

  “Yes, Ma’am. I promise.”

“Good girl. May I please have a hug?”

Still sniveling, the tiny blonde wrapped her legs around Suzanne’s waist and put her head on her shoulder. “I don’t want to grow up when I’m here, Aunt Suzanne.”

“Whenever my hair is down, and I’m not dressed for work, you don’t have to be an adult around me. I love you.”

“I love you, too. I don’t like Glenn, though.”

“Glenn didn’t know how much his words would hurt a little girl’s heart. He honestly didn’t mean to make you feel so badly. He loves you.”

“He only loves me when I’m Big.”

“That’s not true. He hasn’t had a lot of time to learn about people like us. People sometimes say things that they don’t mean when they’re angry. It’s up to us to decide if we should listen.”

  “I’ll never trust him again.”

“Never is a very long time, Sweetheart. I promise that this won’t be repeated. I’m going to deal with him and then send him to spend some supervised time with others to teach him about our lifestyle. Robby and Daddy have a friend named Hank who has a special school for Littles, and he can learn some things there.”

“The Playground? I haven’t even been there yet, but Bryon already let Krissy meet everyone. It always feels like I’m the last choice.”

Suzanne dabbed her eyes with a napkin. “I know it seems that way sometimes, but you know it’s not true. Both Daddy and Robby were talking about bringing you there to play with Hildy when there’s no one home to stay with you. She’s very nice, and you’d have a lot of fun with her.”

Cassie crossed her arms over her chest. “I’m not going if Glenn is there.”

“Now, now,” Suzanne touched her lower lip and pushed it back into place. “We don’t act that way. I know he hurt your feelings, but we have to give him a chance to learn, don’t we?”

  “I s’pose.”

“That’s my pretty girl.” She lifted her nose. “Something smells wonderful, and I’m very hungry. Do I still get the surprise that you made for me?”

Cassie smiled shyly and nodded. “I just need to finish the sauce and then it’s done.”

“Is there anything I can help with?”

“No. I’m sorry I scared you.”

“You’re forgiven. I’m going to get Glenn. Are you going to be nice?” Cassie nodded her answer. “Good girl. I’ll be back in a couple of minutes.”

Suzanne rubbed her neck as she walked back to her office. Glenn rose when she walked in.

  “Is she okay?”

“She will be. You better think of doing something very special to make it up to her. If you don’t, then you and I are going to have issues.”

  “I will. Promise.”

“We aren’t done here. You and I are going to have a long talk after the boys pick her up tomorrow, and I will have my hair up.”

  “But I have class.”

“I’m aware of that. Don’t plan to be sitting comfortably for it, either. Things aren’t looking up for you right now.”

  Glenn cringed.

  ****

“That was exquisite, Cassie. Thank you,” Suzanne sighed, leaning back in her chair and holding her stomach. “I ate too much.”

“Did you like it? I invented it myself. I’m calling it Crepe a la Suzanne.”

“It’s now my favorite dish. What did you put in it?”

“Diced chicken, sautéed mushrooms, and onions, baby organic spinach and capers. I wrapped it in a sweet crepe and covered it with hollandaise sauce,” Cassie responded proudly.

“You’re going to make Rob fat if you feed him like this. It was the best meal I’ve ever tasted,” Glenn murmured. “I’m really sorry for hurting your feelings, Cass. Please forgive me.”

“I forgive you, but it’s going to take some time for me to trust you again,” she answered stiffly.

Suzanne patted her on the thigh. “We have time, Sweetheart. Everything will work out.”

The next day, Rob and Bryon arrived to take Cassie home after dropping Krissy off at her dorm. Suzanne said nothing to either man about the situation, knowing that both would go after their little brother with raised fists. Once they were out of sight, she turned to Glenn.

“Go choose five implements from the closet and meet me in the bedroom.”

“Suzy, I said I was sorry. I didn’t know any better.”

“I know your father and brothers well enough to believe that you were taught manners and the proper way to treat a lady. Just because Cassandra’s your step-sister doesn’t give you the excuse
to be rude or abusive.”

“All I did was to tell her to grow up. I was defending you after she scared the shit out of you.”

“I’m capable of taking care of myself.” She stared him down. “Are you going to obey me or not?”

  “Suz…”

“I made it clear that, when you asked to date me, I wanted a submissive. You claimed that you wanted to explore the lifestyle and for me to teach you. I’m not going to chase you down or call your brothers for help to force you to submit. You will respect and obey me, or we are done. I’m not going to play games with you.”

Glenn wrinkled his forehead. “You’d break up with me over this?”

“I’d break up with you for pretending to be something you’re not. I already told you that deception and lies are a hard limit for me, so if you’ve been deceiving me just to get laid, then there’s the door.”

She hoped that the fear in her voice was not noticed. Against her better judgment, she had fallen in love with the young man, but she couldn’t abide being with someone who lied and used her for sex. To her relief, Glenn nodded and started towards the walk-in closet where Suzanne had arranged all her ‘toys.’ He came out several minutes later and placed the items on the bed.

“Let’s see. The cane, a frat paddle, leather tawse, a rubber paddle, and the acrylic heart-paddle. All are appropriate, but not what this situation deserves. Go into the yard and cut me a dozen switches. Make sure they are peeled and clean and bring them to me with a roll of duct tape.”

She was pleased to see him pale. Bill, his father, had used switches quite often when his boys were defiant, and she had heard enough stories from Bryon to know that it was an effective deterrent for bad behavior. Glenn glanced at the floor, nodded, and then left the room. Satisfied that he knew she meant business, she dressed for work in a dark blue pencil skirt, white blouse, and black high heels. The finishing touches of putting her long, blond hair in a tight bun and slipping on a pair of dark-rimmed reading glasses gave her the appearance of a strict school-mistress who was readying to take a recalcitrant student under control.

Glenn froze in his tracks upon seeing her standing in the bedroom next to a straight-backed chair. She held her hand out for the dozen switches and looked them over carefully for knots or splinters. With a nod, she bound them tightly with the duct tape and formed a lethal looking birch bundle which was placed on the bed.

“Take down your pants and go stand in that corner,” she ordered crisply. His hands shook as he lowered his pants to the floor and then silently hobbled to the place she had indicated. His obedience lightened her heart with the knowledge that he wanted to keep going forward in their relationship. It also ignited her sadistic side. For a split second, she felt compassion for him, but then remembered the haunted look in little Cassie’s eyes. She had to ensure that there would never be another incident.

After fifteen minutes, she called him over to her. She was sitting on the chair; her long, athletic legs crossed daintily at the ankles. In her hand was the short, rubber paddle. “Put yourself over my knees, young man. You’re about to receive a lesson in manners and respect.”

He looked terrified, and with good reason. Suzanne was strong and well-trained in the art of pain. While the palm of her hand might not cause any distress, an implement she wielded would cause intense agony to the recipient. Once he was in place, she ensured that he wouldn’t move by locking his cock between her knees and clamping it tightly.

“You are to keep your hands and toes flat on the floor. We will start with fifty strokes. Move once, and things will be much worse for you. Count.”

He stiffened as the first clap of the rubber paddle sailed across his backside and growled out the word ‘one.' Admiring the immediate appearance of color, she aimed and landed the paddle a second time. Unlike her male counterparts, Suzanne didn’t allow time for the pain to settle in. She wanted a reaction—and got one.

“What did I tell you about moving?” she scolded as Glenn tried to slide off her lap by the count of thirty. His bottom had already turned a deep crimson with a guarantee that he would be uncomfortable for quite a while.

“I couldn’t help it,” he choked out. He was clearly trying to be ‘manly’ and not cry, but the Domme was not going to any tolerate machismo.

“It seems that there are several things you can’t help. Get back in place.”

“I can’t take anymore,” he said.

“You’ll take what I decide to give you. Stand up.” Suzanne ordered, smacking the back of his thigh with the rubber implement. Once he obeyed, she rose, turned the back of the chair to face him and pointed. “Bend over and hold the sides of the seat. I was only going to give you six, but since you moved, you owe me another twenty strokes.” She leaned in towards his ear. “Move this time, and you will be birched twenty-six times every night before bed until you learn to obey me. Have I made myself clear, young man?”

Glenn groaned. “Yes, Ma’am. I’m sorry. I really am.”

“We’ll make sure of that. Count.”

Sweat broke out over his body after the first stroke landed, leaving long, red welts etched in the tenderized cheeks of his ass. He cried out the first count and lifted himself on his toes. Satisfied with his reaction, the Domme continued the lesson. By the time the final stroke was made, the birch rod had been worn down to only a couple of switches and Glenn was sobbing over the back of the chair.

Resisting the urge to comfort him, Suzanne straightened her skirt out and stood in front of him.

“Clean up this mess and get ready for school. We are leaving in forty minutes.”

He sunk to the ground and wrapped his arms around her ankles. “I’m so, so sorry. Please forgive me.”

She forced him to look at her. “I’ll forgive you when you find a way to make things right with Cassandra. In the meantime, I suggest that you watch yourself. Make sure you vacuum in here. There are pieces of the switches everywhere.”

“Yes, Ma’am,” he sniffled. With a contented grunt, Suzanne left the room.

  CHAPTER FOUR

Cassie and Krissy sat at the kitchen table coloring while the boys watched the football game on Rob’s big screen TV. They were waiting until Suzanne arrived from her visit with her daughter before starting Sunday dinner. The tension between the girls was palpable.

“I heard that Daddy and Robby let you play on the horse.” Cassie’s icy tone seemed to chill the warm room.

“I didn’t know what they were going to do, Cass. Honest. If I thought it would have bothered you, I would have refused.”

“They wouldn’t have listened. They do whatever the fuck they want to. It’s not your fault.”

“Do they both play with you?” Krissy looked over at her friend’s face.

“Sometimes. I’m starting to wonder if I really want to be involved in this lifestyle.” Cassie put down the crayon and crossed her arms while looking out the kitchen window. “I told you what Glenn said to me last Sunday. Since then, I can’t let myself go.”

“Did you tell Uncle Robby and Papa about how you’re feeling?”

  “No. They wouldn’t understand.”

  “How do you know?”

“Because I know my family. When it comes to Glenn, Rob will tell me to suck it up and ignore him while Bryon will slug him in the mouth.”

  “They care about you.”

“Yeah?” Her voice was riddled with bitterness. “Bryon forcing me to depend on him to reignite my little side without being given a choice doesn’t feel like caring. I hate diapers and bottles and am not going to go through that again.”

“Papa wouldn’t make you do anything like that. He just wants the best for us.” The need to defend her boyfriend was strong, but Krissy knew she was treading on thin ice when Cassie’s eyes narrowed.

“I’ve known Bryon much longer and a hell of a lot better than you do. It took me a long time to get him and Rob to notice me, and now I’m forced to share what little time we have together with other
s. It’s not just you, either.”

“Who else could it be then?” the redhead asked as her lower lip quivered.

“Suzanne and Glenn. I was just starting to feel comfortable with having her as an auntie. I didn’t have to explain my girlie side to her or force her to play along. Then Glenn entered the picture. He doesn't understand or care about that part of me.”

“Have you talked to her about it?”

Cassie glared at the girl. “If my family can’t figure out what I need without having to spell it out to them every single time, then I’m not interested in partaking in any of this. I’m going for a walk.”

Krissy frowned as Cassie stormed out the back door. The sound of the door slamming brought Bryon into the room.

  “What’s happening in here?”

Looking down at the table, the young woman shared the events. “I feel like I cheated on her with her boyfriends. I would never do anything to hurt her or any of you.”

Bryon sighed and patted her hand. “Maybe in her eyes, we all cheated. I always thought she understood the open relationship that Rob and I share.”

“They aren’t even married yet. If she thinks he’ll go out on her while they’re engaged, what’s going to happen later?”

“Did she seem more upset about our playing or that it didn’t involve her?”

“In truth, she sounded like she was angry that you guys used the horse on me before you tried it on her.”

Bryon bit his lip. “Shit. That’s a sore spot for most primaries. I didn’t even consider it.”

  “I don’t understand. What’s a primary?”

“Cass is our leading submissive. The Alpha sub, if you want to use that term. That position comes with certain privileges, including the option to be the first to use, or experience something, before anyone else. There’s an implicit rule among submissives that if there is something they want from their Doms and aren’t allowed to have, then he best not offer it to anyone else.”

“No wonder she’s angry,” Krissy said, looking out to the backyard.

“I venture to guess that she’s more hurt. How do you feel about this?”
