  “You’ve chosen the right side,” the man from the car that had crashed outside his house said, his one good eye gleaming, the top of his head like one large dark scab. “I knew you would. What orders, General?”

  Grady looked out at his new army, at his new command. He looked at the man from the crashed car, and then at the Bearded Man, who watched him closely.

  The Bearded Man grinned huge. “We are all of us machines,” he said. “Shall we march?”

  Shane Staley is a Bram Stoker Award winning editor and publisher. He is considered by many as one of the most influential editors and publishers of the modern era horror scene. He was the founder and editor-in-chief of the legendary specialty press Delirium Books (1999-2012). Staley started his publishing career in 1995 with a ‘zine called The Darklands Project. Since then, he has published more than 300 books in his career and has been a part of launching some of the most important writing careers in the horror genre.

  E. G. Smith is a graduate of the University of Washington’s creative writing program with a lifelong passion for horror fiction and film. The recipient of the 2015 Horror Writer’s Association Scholarship, he’s recently published stories in the DarkFuse 1 anthology, Great Old Ones’ Bugs and Cryptids anthologies, the Dead Harvest anthology from Scarlett Galleon Publications, the In Creeps the Night anthology from J. A. Mes Press and Dark Corner’s Short Horror Stories Vol. 2. He lives on a small farm in rural Southwestern Idaho.

  Jon Gauthier has been in love with story-telling, horror, and sci-fi since first seeing Jurassic Park at the age of 8. He knew he wanted to be a writer after discovering the Goosebumps and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books only a year after that. He grew up in Carleton Place, Ontario and now lives in Ottawa, Ontario with his wife.

  Robert Essig is the author of the novels People of the Ethereal Realm, Through the In between, Hell Awaits and In Black. He has also had over sixty short stories and two novellas published in the small press. Robert lives with his family in Southern California.

  Wilfred R. Robinson is a writer of weird fiction and speculative fiction.He won his first award for writing in 1992, coming in first for his age bracket at the Philcon Young Writers Contest. He was also head writer for the now defunct webcomic The Friday Knights. He lives in Philadelphia P.A. with his wife, Laura, and their young son.

  An award-winning writer of fantastic and disturbing fiction, Keith Deininger is the author of several novels and novellas, including The New Flesh, Within, Marrow’s Pit, and The Godgame series.
