“Hello there,” he said softly.
“Hi,” she rasped.
“You are a stunning woman Dana Miller,” he said with a look that resembled adoration in his eye.
He was pretty awesome himself. The lunch at the diner, he wore a chambray shirt with the tails out and jeans. Even in the loose fitting clothing, she could tell he was fit.
But now with his shirt off in the water, with the moon beaming down on the both of them, there was no question. She could see the details of his body vividly. His shoulders were broad and his chest cut. His arms were solid as a rock. He was indeed built like a baseball player, ripped and powerful, while still being lean.
“So tell me,” he began in a voice that was somewhere between pained and sweet. “Tell me which fantasy we should address first.”
Dana flinched. There was no controlling it. Jeff’s suave demeanor broke as he hung his head. At first she didn’t know what to make of his shaking. He was quiet for the longest time, wobbling. She ducked her head below that sweep bangs that fell down from his forehead to see what was going on.
He was laughing so hard that he had no choice but to ride the fit out. He could not make a sound. Finally, he gasped and stood up straight.
“You should have seen the look on your face,” he said. “I don’t think I will forget that as long as I live.”
Chapter Four
He abruptly took hold of her, lifting her in the water. It was an uncharacteristically bold move. It was more alpha than she expected from him. He leaned back in the water and moved with her on him. She floated in the water as he walked around. Dana summoned her courage to to reveal herself.
Jeff’s hand ventured from his hold on her to rest on her chest. His fingers tracing the swell of her breast. Chills rifled through her making her nipples hard. There was no hiding them. She could make them out in the shadow cast on the lit pool water.
“I waited so long to reveal these thoughts, it is not as easy as I thought it would be,” she said.
The excitement and vulnerability of actually being in the moment that she had longed for all those lonely nights, sent the blood rushing to her ears. Her heart banged a throbbing rhythm that nearly made her completely deaf. Jeff was stroked her chastely to ease her.
“Well as a matter of fact, being out under the stars was a one of my scenarios,” she said.
“You mean like floating in the water with a man who is into you, with your beautiful body glistening in the moon light?”
“Oh good,” he said softly. “My imagination never conjured this setting but it’s just become my favorite scene.”
His hand that modestly touched her breast, now glided down the length of her body. He raked his fingernails in feather light touch into the small of her waist. She spasmed mildly.
“Ticklish?” he asked.
“Yeah,” she gasped.
“Oh that is good to know,” he wickedly.
Jeff’s touches were advancing but slowly, cautiously. Dana was very aware that she was being seduced but at gentle pace that eased them both into the sex that they would eventually have. They had all night.
He sliced through the water in slow motion, like a crocodile and Dana his prey. Finally his he tugged aside the triangles of her bathing suit top so that her breasts bobbled gently in the pool water. His fingers dipped beneath the waist band of her bikini bottoms to find more.
Dana let her thighs float apart. Jeff cupped her between her legs, inserting a finger. Her body was wet and hot.
“Mmm,” he growled.
Dana arched on the surface of the pool, her shoulder pressing into his as he crouched to put his face next to hers. Even with the pools smells, she could smell that sweet smell of him that she liked so much when he kissed her on the cheek hello.
The nearness of his mouth morphed into light kissed on her cheek. His lips traveled towards hers and he guided her to her feet so that he could kiss her fully. It was like she was kissing a long-missed lover. She knew his kiss, his taste, his style and she craved it.
Crickets hummed, the pool motor buzzed as the amazing night surround them. Through lowered lids, Dana spied light from security lamps and the moon dancing on the jiggling water. Jeff’s arms were so solid, so masculine as they held her. His fingers raked her wet tangled hair, stilling her jaw so that he could devour her with his kiss.
His tongue pushed onto hers, twirling with hers. She trailed her tip over every surface, pressing the walls of his cheeks before playing with him. Their tongues danced together as they got lost in the feel of each other.
Dana pressed her soft pliant body against Jeff’s hard lean frame. It felt like she was grinding against tree, he was so grounded. He was in his late thirties according to his profile but there again was that boyishness about him. Dana felt like she was seventeen kissing her high school sweetheart.
But Jeff was no boy. He was so subtle and skillful in his seduction of her. Intuitively patient having been through a divorce himself, knowing the emotional battery a person can go through. He was sweet with her knowing that he would be her first in a gazillion years but he was assertive and in command, guiding them both to what they craved.
Before she knew it, Dana trembled with arousal. It was a new reality to be this worked up with a real live person. Her fantasies paled in comparison. His hands swam down her back to cup her buttocks. He lifted her easily. She wrapped her legs around his hips.
Dana gripped the hard defined muscles of his back. She was like a tree frog on him, her hips matched to his. His hardness nudge her center through her bathing suit bottoms. She lowered herself slightly to lightly grind on him, giving him a sort of pool lap dance.
Jeff guided Dana to a pool side bench, just below the water. He lifted her with ease, setting her hips at his face level. It just so happened that he put their drinks near that spot. He reached for his.
He encouraged her back against the ledge, a move that stretched her out, making her belly taut and flat. He spilled his drink in her navel and licked it from her. There was no squelching her cries. She whimpered uncontrollably as he tickled and aroused her.
Her breathing rose. Her bare chest heaved skyward as a row of black trees looked on. Jeff fumbled with the strings that tied at Dana’s hips to unfasten them. With a few tugs, Dana was completely naked.
He parted her knees, gripped her hips and drew her closer to him. He kissed the inside of her legs, upward towards her center. Gingerly at first, he extended the tip of his tongue to the bud of her sex, circling it and making her throb.
Jeff’s touch was perfect. It was light yet firm enough to sweetly torture her. He flicked against her aroused flesh, unrelenting, making the craving to be filled by him grow. Dana drew up tight, constricting her channel in dire need of him.
He seemed to have endless patience as he tended to her. He explored her with both fingers and tongue, always coming back to that same spot, pressing, kneading. She rocked her hips up towards his mouth begging for release.
Dana found his hand blind. She drew it up to her breast, encouraging his fingers to play with her. His fingertips, even for a white collar worker, were tough. Their feel was so erotic on her erect, wet nipples.
Finally he plunged his tongue into her heat, simultaneously squeezing her pebbled tips. Pleasure corded through her body, coiling up tight within her belly. He rose above her, his stone hard erection grazing her thigh as he helped her out of the pool.
With amazing fortitude, he was able to walk over to a bed-sized chaise and lay them both down atop it. The furniture was covered in microfiber so the texture was soft and luxurious against her skin.
As he crawled over her, he bent to suckle her breast, the tips of which were rigid in the night air. He gently punished the imprisoned nipple the way he had other places. Dana was insane with the urgency to have him inside of her.
The soft skinned tip of him brushed the inside of her thigh. Jeff looked her in the eye. There was such tenderness for her there. Dana reached be
tween them and guided him in. He thrusted until he was buried completely.
He paused, his eyes pressed shut with bliss. A faint smile washed his face as he seemed to be doped now with the sweetest drug of all. Dana cried out at their joining. It had been so long. She could hardly believe that all those years of loneliness, of human need had come to an end.
And not just because it had been so very long for her, the feel of him was unlike anything she had experienced before. Their chemistry was powerful – electric and it surged through her, lighting up every possible erogenous zone on her. She was a quivering mass as Jeff rocked into her slowly and steadily. He kissed her gently as he mixed up his rhythm with the occasional powerful thrust.
Dana was so turned on she could not think straight. She pumped her pelvis upward, gyrating, seeking. Each time she moved, she made her predicament worse for the sweet agony only seemed to build more.
She cocked her hips back towards her chest, causing her body to tighten around him. Each time she moved back and forth, a little moan escaped his lips. Dana could not tend to him, she was lost in her own need. She reached down to touch herself, but he quickly moved her hand away.
Dana looked up to him in surprise. He had the look of the devil in his eye. There was no trace of the boyishness she found so attractive. Staring down at her was an alpha male who was controlling her just a little bit and she liked it.
“Not yet,” he proclaimed.
Dana turned her head, trying hard to withstand the level of pleasure rising between them. She wagged her hips this way and that, trying her best to stoke his visual gratification to drive him to the place where she was.
Jeff stared at her, heavy lidded, entranced by the vision of her. She bounced her buttocks on the chaise, working it. He yanked her forward until she was nearly sitting up. He drew her leg over his and now they were entwined in a completely new position.
Dana pushed her foot off the soft aggregate and danced on him with rapid up and down motion. She jiggled and drove Jeff over the edge. He lunged for her hand and placed it back where it had been. With a frenzy, she worked it until the both of them came undone with ecstasy.
They were like fireworks bursting in the sky, crying out without a care of what the neighbors thought. They writhed to ride out the last sweet spasm of their climax until the very last. They touched foreheads, steeped in the afterglow as they slowly came back to earth.
“My goodness but that was delicious,” he said.
“I have no words except thanks,” she said.
“You’re quite welcomed,” he said very businesslike.
Dana startled at his tone, not sure what to make of it. He burst out laughing, tipping their bodies onto the chaise and disconnecting. He shifted from his amusement for a serious moment. It took nothing for that doped look to return to his face, like just the thought of her made him high. He kissed her lazily.
“Are you hungry?” he whispered.
“Starved,” she said now that the thought of it.
From an end table between the chaises, Jeff took a sheet towel for her and took one for himself. He swaddled himself and headed back into the house, promising to be right back. He returned with cubed seedless water melon and two small servings of champagne.
“I don’t drink this much, promise,” he said. “But I felt like celebrating.”
Dana leaned up and kissed him. It was nice to be able to share affection on impulse. He spiked the watermelon and fed it to her before holding the champagne to her lips to sip. It was a delicious combination.
It had been after nine pm when Dana arrived at Jeff’s house and now it was officially late. It had been a long, eventful day. After their fill of fruit and champagne, they bathed under the warm water of the outdoor shower. With her back to him, unexpectedly, she felt his hand in her hair.
The crisp fragrance of oranges filled the air and she realized, he was washing her hair. It was lovely. By the time all was said and done, it was close to midnight and Dana had a long winding drive back home.
He draped her with a fresh, cozy towel which her chilled damp body welcomed. He drew her against his hard body and hugged her.
“You are welcomed to stay the rest of the night if you wish,” he said. “I have an enormous empty bed that you would fill nicely. You’ll hardly know I am there.”
“Well that’s no fun,” she teased.
“I am lying. I’ll be all over you,” he said.
She laughed softly. He could say just about anything and she would find it funny. But she wanted to go home and crash in her own bed, among her boxes, in her own space. She wasn’t looking forward to it on the part of the drive that was ultra rural but it wouldn’t take long for her to get home.
“I have had a wonderful day followed by a wonderful evening,” she said. “But I have to get up early in the morning.”
Jeff kissed her lazily. She loved the way he tasted and she would linger there in his arms endlessly but exhaustion was creeping in. She finished drying off and dressed. He walked her to her car. It was hard calling it a night.
“Please call me when you are in your house safely,” he said. “If I don’t hear from you, I will call the police.”
“Oooh,” she purred. “Bossy.”
Jeff stooped so that he and Dana were eye to eye.
“I am dead serious,” he said. “It’s late. You’re tired. You’ve had some alcohol and the roads are a little wild until you get out to the pike. Let me know you’re home safely.”
“Yes sir,” she said.
She kissed him, only with her lips but it was a slow sensual kiss. She remembered the taste and the feel of him all the way home and as she cuddled into her pillow. She pulled the covers up around her before texting him. “Home.”
“Good,” he wrote back. “Nite.”
Chapter Five
Leaving Jeff’s, Dana had been so tired that she got her wires cross. She actually did not have to be up early the next day after all. On her last day off before she returned to work from her move, she swore off all phones and computer and hunkered down to unpack.
She cut off the electronics just because of the distraction they created. Since she and Jeff covered so much ground so fast on their very day of meeting, she thought it was wise to pace themselves. It would take everything she had but she would give him a day before checking in again.
It was good she had that day. She had not had that much to drink the day before but it was more than she was used to. She was also an early-to-bed kind of person. Late nights she decided, would have to a wait until weekends.
By the end of the day, she made serious progress in the boxes but she was officially worn out. Now she really could use another day off just to recuperate. It was hard to go back to actual work.
When she did go in, there hovering at her desk was the woman who made Dana’s meeting Jeff possible. Her friend Cheryl knew that Dana had lunch plans and she was there at Dana’s desk for the details.
“Look what the cat dragged in,” Cheryl remarked. “How did the date go?”
“Dates,” corrected Dana.
“You rascal,” Cheryl said in her ever-dry tone.
Just as Dana was about to respond to that, a mailroom person appeared from around the corner, delivering a vase of roses. Cheryl and Dana murmured that they wondered who those were for, never dreaming they would be for Dana. But they were.
Dana read the card. The flowers were from Jeff. She felt her body sway remembering him.
“I had a wonderful time. Look forward to more,” it read.
Cheryl tried to spy but Dana wanted to read the message by herself first. Then she shared it with her friend. Cheryl grinned.
“You slept with him,” she remarked.
“I am not tellin’,” Dana shied away, genuinely embarrassed.
“You don’t have to,” Cheryl replied. “It’s not my first day on the planet. So spill.”
“He’s really cute. He’s really nice,” Dana responded, trying not to gu
sh.
“Had to be. Sounds like you were really nice to him back,” she said.
Dana colored with an intense blush.
“Look at you,” Cheryl laughed. “Did you get your trip around the world?”
“We definitely made reservations,” Dana joked.
“Goodness,” replied Cheryl. “That doesn’t even make sense but I know exactly what you mean.”
Then Dana was struck with a question. She hadn’t mentioned to Jeff where she worked. She quickly pulled up the dating website.
“Did you put this place on that profile you made for me?” she asked.
“No,” said Cheryl. “You didn’t tell him?”
“No,” she said.
“Someone went to a lot of trouble to make sure you got your flowers,” remarked Cheryl. “Tell me if you’re free for lunch. I need to hear all about it. But I better go back to my desk and earn my living.”
Dana took a snapshot of the flowers with her phone and sent them to Jeff with thanks. She got an instant reply.
“So how did you know where I worked?” she asked.
“I stalked you,” he answer and then quickly added, “that’s a joke. But I did do an internet search. Your firm participated in a charity race I was involved in last year.”
“We did,” she beamed from ear to ear.
“I called to confirm you were still with that company and then I sent those bad boys over,” he answered.
“What would you have done if I had changed jobs?” Dana typed.
“I would have bribed your HR manager for a forwarding address,” he wrote.
“Good answer,” she replied.
Cheryl had been right. He certainly did go to a lot of trouble to make sure she had flowers. She pushed her nose into the bouquet and breathed in.
“They’re beautiful,” she wrote.
“So are you,” he said. “I didn’t hear from you yesterday so I wanted to make sure you knew what I thought about you.”
