Dangerous Delusion

Before she knew what happened, he flipped her over on her back and ripped her thong down her legs. He pushed them open, but he didn’t push inside her. Instead, Nick buried his face between her thighs and slipped his tongue deep inside her.
Lora arched off the bed with a shuddering moan. It was as if he knew every one of her secret spots. His rapid tongue movement, and pressure of his thumb pressed against her clit made it hard to catch her breath. She’d never had an orgasm hit her so fast. Even when she masturbated, it usually took a while, but Nick had her on the brink in less than a minute.
“Nick, yes… there. Oh, God… right… there.” Lora moaned.
“Your so fucking responsive, baby. I’ve never tasted anything so fucking delicious,” Nick spoke in a low growl as he continued to stimulate her with his hand.
Lora’s body quaked as the tingle started in the tips of her toes and slammed through her body like an electric shock. He didn’t stop as she fisted the sheets and spots formed in front of her eyes as she roared his name. Her back arched off the bed again, and for a moment she thought she’d tossed him on the floor, but he’d only moved to his knees.
“I could watch that all night,” Nick grinned.
“If all you want to do is watch, I have some toys I could use instead,” Lora responded teasingly.
“Not a fucking chance. At least not right now.” Nick grabbed his jeans and pulled a strip of condoms from his pocket.
“Well, someone is confident in himself.” Lora giggled as he tore one off the strip and tossed the rest on the nightstand.
“I’ve been waiting for this for nine fucking months, so don’t think it will be one and done.” Nick rolled the condom onto his thick cock and braced his hands on either side of her head. “Just so you know, the only sex I’ve had in those months was with my hand, and I was thinking about you.”
With that statement, he slowly slipped inside her filling her completely. It had been a while for her and Nick was larger than most. He must have sensed it because he stilled and allowed her to adjust to him as he kissed her senseless.
He shook with rage as he watched the small monitor in front of him. How could she be smiling when he was doing that to her? She was his, and that oversexed cop would pay for soiling her.
With all the chances he took in the past couple of nights, he couldn’t believe he hadn’t been able to prevent her from being touched by another man. He’d make it up to her once he freed her from the prison where they kept her.
He was thankful that the tree line next to the house made it easy to maneuver himself to the back of the house and not be seen by the brainless thug parked in the front of the house. He couldn’t believe that these men who were supposed to be professional security only checked around the house once every hour. In the hour he was able to place a small camera just inside her bedroom window. It would be hard for someone to see it unless they knew exactly what it was.
Now he sat watching as the ape rutted and pounded into his love. As much as it angered him, he couldn’t help the arousal when he saw the perfect body of his love. He glanced back at the recliner where the old man had fallen asleep and grinned.
At least he could relieve himself while he pictured himself as the one taking her body. He unzipped his pants, pulled out his erect dick, and began to stroke himself. He could hear her words and closed his eyes as he pictured her saying those very words to him.
Chapter 20
Nick wasn’t going to be able to hold back for long. Being with Lora was something he’d wanted since the first time he saw her at the grocery store. Little did he know at that time he would end up falling head over heels in love with her.
He’d always loved sex, but with Lora, it was better than he’d ever thought it could be. He knew the minute he pushed inside her that she was it for him. Nick never felt such a connection with a woman in his life, and feeling her inner walls squeeze his dick was the best thing he’d ever felt.
“Baby, don’t stop.” Lora panted as he pumped in and out of her.
“I don’t think I could if I tried.” Nick sucked her hardened nipples into his mouth.
“Oh... yes. Nick, that feels so good. You feel so good.” Lora’s body trembled as her muscles inside tightened around his cock.
“Fucking beautiful.” Nick murmured as he slammed into her once more and quaked with his own release.
For a few minutes, the only sound in the room was their heavy breathing. Nick’s body convulsed a couple of times as he ejaculated inside her, and he dropped his head into the crook of her neck.
“That. was…” Lora breathed.
“Yeah,” Nick managed to push himself up, so he could look into her eyes and he didn't put all his weight on her.
“I love you,” Lora whispered.
“I don’t know if love is the right word for how I feel about you. Love doesn’t seem strong enough. I adore you, crave you, and nobody in the world has ever made me feel the way you do. I do love you. More than I could ever tell you.” Nick never thought of himself as an emotional man, but the feelings he had for this woman were so intense it made a lump form in his throat.
“Nick, you're so incredible.” Lora cupped his cheeks, and her eyes searched his.
“You’re the amazing one.” Nick kissed her tenderly.
He didn’t want to let her go, but he needed to dispose of the condom. He pulled out of her with a groan because surprisingly he’d started to harden again. He never had issues with recovery time, but it was never this immediate. He practically sprinted to the bathroom to get rid of the latex.
When he returned, Lora was in the middle of the bed, a tear running down her cheek. She smiled at him, but the tears confused him.
“Why are you crying?” Nick was next to her in seconds.
“These are happy tears.” Lora pulled one of his hands to her lips. “Do you know how long I’ve dreamed of a man like you? My whole life I always wanted a man who loved me the way Dad loved Mom. It wasn’t long ago I’d given up on ever finding it. Then I met you, and it was everything I could do to keep my distance, because it scared me the way my heart pounded when you were close.” Another tear rolled down her cheek.
“Honey, you weren’t the only one scared.” Nick flirted with her, but mostly because he thought it would never happen.
“Now I’m terrified.” Lora sighed.
“Why?” Nick held her face between his hands.
“The man killing those women is crazy, and if I’m the one he wants, what’s to stop him from hurting people to get to me. Hurting my daughter, my mom, my brother.” Lora sighed. “Hurting you.”
“I don’t want you to worry about me. That sick son of a bitch won’t hurt you or your family. As for me, I’ll kill the bastard if he even tries.” Nick pulled her into his arms and lowered them both to the bed.
He held her against him pressing his lips to the top of her head. As scared as she probably was about this guy, Nick was equally as terrified. The thought of anyone taking her away from him made it difficult to breathe.
“Why are you the only one of your brothers with the cleft in your chin?” Her head tipped back as she ran her finger over the indent on his chin.
“Now how would I know that?” Nick chuckled.
“Isn’t it genetic?” She kissed it.
“Yes, and just so you know, my grandfather on my dad’s side had one. So does my dad.” Nick took her hand and linked his fingers with hers.
“I noticed your dad has it too.” Lora kissed his cheek. “Just so you know, it drives your sexy factor up. If that’s even possible, because Nick O’Connor, you’re sexy as hell.”
“Ms. Norris, you could be the poster girl for sexy.” Nick kissed her lips softly.
“Nick, you're the best thing that ever happened to my daughter and me.” She cupped his cheek.
“I love you, Lora.” Nick stared deep into her eyes.
“Nick, I love you so much.” She ran her hand across his cheek, and he covered it with
his.
Nick wished he could freeze time and stay with her like this forever. He finally understood what his brothers meant when they said, nothing compared to holding the woman you love. It felt peaceful.
Nick knew the minute she drifted off to sleep. Her body relaxed in his arms, and her breathing was deep and even. He even smiled when she let out a little snore for a few short seconds.
Nick managed to pull the bedsheet over them and turned his head to look through the window at the sky. The crescent moon was high, and except for a couple of clouds, it was clear. The breeze moved the thin white curtains as it blew in through the slightly open window.
With the warm air blowing across his face and constant movement of the curtains, his eyes fluttered closed. It was the most relaxed he’d been in a long time. Holding the woman he adored in his arms helped him drift into a deep content sleep.
Nick woke with a start. Something was wrong. He turned to the other side of the bed, but Lora was still curled up next to him. He dropped his head back into the pillow and blew out a slow breath.
“Do you always wake up this early?” She groaned.
“It’s after nine, sweetheart.” Nick chuckled.
“Holy crap.” Lora sat up and reached over him for her phone.
Nick grabbed it from her hand and flipped her over onto her back. She wiggled under him until he took one of her nipples into his mouth.
“That’s not fair.” Lora sighed. “I need… ah… to get up.”
“You. Don’t. Need. To. Do. Anything.” With each word, he placed a soft kiss up the side of her neck and across her jaw.
“I have … Nick… God… Molly.” Lora moaned as he slowly slid his hand under her to squeeze her sweet ass.
“Molly's safe with Sandy and Ian.” Nick kissed his way down her chest to the dip of her belly button.
“Don’t you… Oh... my...” The minute his tongue slid between her folds she gasped.
“That’s it, baby. You like that, don’t you,” Nick whispered against her wetness.
“Oh … Nick.” Lora squirmed as he flicked his tongue against her swollen clit.
His finger slid into her opening as he sucked her swollen nub into his mouth. Lora’s moans edged him on more, and he slipped a second finger inside her.
“God, yes.” Lora’s hips thrust up against his hand and mouth.
“Let go, baby. Come for me.” Nick sucked her clit and thrust his fingers in and out of her.
Lora arched off the bed and screamed his name as she came undone. Nick watched the pleasure on her face, and it was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen in his life.
They made love twice before she finally convinced him they had to get out of bed. It also helped that his stomach growled loud enough she giggled at the sound.
“I’m sure your stomach thinks your mouth went on strike.” Lora laughed as she turned the bacon on the frying pan.
“Maybe, but I was pretty satisfied with the appetizer this morning.” Nick wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzled her neck.
“You’re insatiable.” Lora laughed.
“When it comes to you, yeah.” Nick kissed her cheek.
“Is it safe to come inside?” Nick growled at the sound of Aaron’s voice from the front door.
“Yes, A.J.” Lora called over Nick's shoulder.
“Hey you two.” Aaron sauntered into the kitchen holding a large yellow envelope. “Something smells great.”
“I’ve got lots, do you want some?” Lora asked.
“No, he doesn’t.” Nick poured two cups of coffee and held one out to Aaron.
“Nick,” Lora chastised him.
“He’s right. I just finished lunch. Most people are up before noon.” Aaron winked at Lora and Nick glared at his brother.
“What are you doing here?” Nick pulled one of the kitchen chairs out from the table and sat down.
“I just wanted to bring this over to Lora. John had Sandy copy all the files and pictures from her phone and put them on a flash drive. She also printed all the pictures.” Aaron handed the envelope to Lora.
“They didn’t have to do that.” Lora pulled the pan from the burner and took the thick envelope from his brother.
“He said it was the least we could do for stealing your phone.” Aaron chuckled.
“It’s okay. I actually have a better one now.” Lora grinned.
“Don’t know how it could be better. That cracked screen is a rare treasure.” Aaron teased.
Lora rolled her eyes as she pulled the pictures from the envelope and shuffled through them. He knew the minute she found the photo with her father. She smiled but he didn’t miss her swallowing hard.
“So… I should probably go.” Aaron must have noticed as well because he tossed back the rest of his coffee and put the empty cup in the sink.
“I’ll give you a buzz later.” Nick walked Aaron to the door.
“Don’t forget we’re playing at the pub tonight.” Aaron reminded him.
“I thought that was Saturday.” Nick completely forgot about it.
“Umm… today is Saturday, bro.” Aaron shook his head and laughed.
“Fuck,” Nick growled.
“If you need to be here we can work around the playlist.” Aaron glanced behind Nick.
“No, he’s going to be there because I’ve never heard you guys play.” Lora wrapped her arms around Nick from behind and pressed her lips against his shoulders.
“What about Molly?” Nick glanced at her.
“I can watch her tonight if you guys want to go out.” Nick turned at the deep voice.
“Hulk, you’re gonna babysit?” Aaron laughed.
“Kids love me, and little Molly is no exception. I’m just not watching none of those princess movies that pretty boy watches.” Hulk pointed his finger at Nick.
“I can’t ask you to do that, Bruce.” Lora had started calling the big burly man by his real name when she’d finally figured out what it was.
“You didn’t ask. I offered, and I know you won’t enjoy yourself if you’re worried about the youngster.” Hulk winked and jogged down the front steps.
“Those guys that work for Keith are a big bunch of softies.” Lora snickered.
“With kids, yeah. Just don’t get on their bad side.” Aaron laughed.
“I guess I’ll see ya tonight.” Nick waved as Aaron sauntered to his truck.
“Be there by nine. I’ll take care of the soundcheck,” Aaron shouted as he drove off.
The rest of the day they spent with Molly. Nick was technically supposed to be on duty, but John got his shift covered, and Nick was considered on special assignment. Nick had no issue with that.
Molly was extremely excited that Hulk was babysitting her while her mom and Nick went out. He’d lost a bet with her and was required to watch at least one princess movie. Nick knew the little girl had Hulk wrapped around her finger when he sat on the sofa, and she climbed onto his lap.
“Molly, be a good girl for Bruce, and I’ll see you in the morning.” Lora kissed her daughter’s head.
“I thought Hulk was staying with me.” Molly pouted and glanced up at Nick.
“He is, Lollipop.” Nick smiled as he crouched down to her level. “Bruce is Hulk’s real name.”
“Is it like a secret name?” Molly tried to whisper to Nick, but it was nowhere near a whisper.
“All superheroes have a secret name that only all their friends know.” Nick winked at the little girl.
“Ohhhh… I won’t tell a single soul.” Molly grabbed Hulk’s face in her little hands and made him look at her. “I promise.”
“Good girl.” Hulk smiled.
Nick and Lora managed to get to the pub just before nine. He made sure she was surrounded by his family before he made his way to the stage in time to grab his fiddle for the first song.
“About time.” John chuckled.
Nick gave him the middle finger just before the lights flicked on the stage. Aaron started wit
h his signature first song by Alabama except, they tweaked it a little. Instead of singing about Texas they used Hopedale. People loved it.
Although, the pub was considered by most an Irish bar, most of the music and bands that played there were country groups. Rockin’ The Law was a combination of country, Irish and a few Newfoundland jigs for the locals. They also did some old-time rock and roll from time to time.
“Hope everyone is here to have a great time tonight,” Aaron spoke into the microphone after the song ended.
A loud cheer was the response, and Nick laughed as Sandy shouted for Aaron to shut up and get the music going. His sister-in-law didn’t get out to enjoy herself very often, but when she did, she could be a handful. Still, Nick felt better she was at the same table with Lora and his other sisters-in-law.
The fact that most of Hopedale was in attendance helped as well. There was no way anyone would get close to Lora without someone from his family or a friend seeing it. Nick caught her eye and gave her a wink before he relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the evening.
He sat in the corner of the overcrowded hole in the wall. Nobody seemed to notice him, and he managed to stay far enough away that she wouldn’t recognize him.
He’d managed to slip by Sheila at the coat check when a crowd of people surrounded the small window she stood behind. If she saw him, she’d wonder why he was in the town. Nobody could know he was there until it was time, and if they saw him, they’d probably take his love away again.
He could see her through the horde of people drinking and dancing to the loud music. He wasn’t a fan of this type of entertainment. He enjoyed more quiet forms. Reading, or the soft sound of classical music.
He could see her stuck between two of the women he’d learned were part of the family keeping her away from him. He rolled his eyes as one of the women stood up and told the band to play more music.
His love had to be miserable with these people. She didn’t like any of this, but he had to admit she was great at acting as if she wanted to be there. He knew it was just to keep them fooled until he could get to her.
