  Happy Birthday to me.

  Happy Birthday to me.

  Happy Birthday …

For people who are familiar with me and my writing will know I favour the side of taboo. I think myself (along with many others) will agree it’s one of their guilty pleasures. I had the idea for Tainted Love about a year ago, but with many of my other books, I sat on the idea for a while until the urge to put it down on paper took hold.

Anyway, enough of my waffling, I need to thank some people.

To Kim, from Kim Bookjunkie. Thank you so much for editing and proofreading Tainted Love. You did a fantastic job, especially considering you’re American having to edit an English book.

Another big thanks to Shabman Arora and Sharon Powell for agreeing to beta read Tainted Love for me. I love you guys. Especially when I got a message from one of you (not naming names) telling me to fuck off, just because I killed Chris. LOL.

To Francessca Wingfield from Francessca PR & Design. What can I say about you? You always do a kick-arse cover. You never fail to disappoint, my friend. Thank you.

To Leigh Stone, from Formatting by Leigh, thank you so much for formatting Tainted Love. You’ve done most of the formatting for me, and also most of the time on a very tight deadline, so it’s a no brainer. The inside—as always—looks beautiful.

To Tracey from Be My Book Boyfriend, thank you so much for working your butt off—as always—on promoting Tainted Love for me. You rock.

Obviously, I can’t go without thanking my family. They support me one hundred percent, and for that, I’m truly grateful. I love you all to bits!

And lastly, the readers. Thank you so much for sticking with me, through the good and the bad. I know some of my work hasn’t been loved by all, so I’m eternally grateful with your loyalty. I will be bringing out more books as the years progress, so I hope you enjoy most. Whatever the outcome of what you think or feel, I value your opinion. I will always value a reader’s opinion. As I stated above, you are what helps me grow and develop as an author. I know I can do better. I can always do better.

  Love and light,

  Jaimie xx
