Finally he picked his way down the stairs and plodded purposefully across the yard to the birches and then over to the bushes. The lights Carver had hung still glowed under their caps of snow.

After sniffing around for a few moments, George manoeuvred into position and lifted his leg on the lowest of the lights, melting the snow. He turned to inspect his work, then, apparently satisfied, threw his head back to bark greetings to the neighborhood.

Mim opened the door and said, “George, quiet. Bring on the heavenly peace.”

  Dear Reader,

  It’s me again!

I hope you enjoyed your visit to Dorset Hills.

Come back soon and meet Marti Forester and her beloved bernedoodle, Hank, in Tried and True in Dog Town.

Marti Forrester hates saying no, especially to the Mayor of Dorset Hills. So, when he appoints her to preside over Dog Court, she steps up despite major misgivings… and a large, furry secret.

Hank, her loveable mutt, is the poster dog for poor training and his crazy antics led to a rift with husband Oliver. Can Marti keep Hank under wraps long enough to do some good for Dog Town’s canine rascals and rogues? And will her efforts be enough to put things right with Oliver for the new year?
