He was mortal, and we could easily subdue him and kill him without a moment’s thought. We got him to sit down. His hands were literally shaking. “That probably would have brought down an elephant. Thankfully my friend Duncan was here to prevent you from making things worse. All I can tell you is that I didn’t mean to do your father harm. I’m sure that what you saw confused you, as a child. You probably thought that I was some sort of nightmare. You grew up and began to realize that things that go bump in the night are real. I’m asking you for forgiveness. I may not deserve it, but it’s the only way that you’re going to put this behind you.” His death would have been simpler and with his demise, the people that were after Derek would realize that their payday had gone up in smoke.
“I don’t know if I can ever forgive you for what you did to my family. My mother was distraught after he was gone and she bottomed out with a bottle of booze in her hand every night. I watched her slowly materialize into something that didn’t seem alive anymore. When she died when I was 16, it became my life mission to find you and make you pay for what you’ve done.” His teeth were grinding together, and the hatred in his eyes only made things that much more challenging.
“I know that it’s not my place to say anything, but I think that you need to see it from every angle. Yes, he hurt your father, and your family suffered because of it, but it wasn’t like he asked for this. There’s no reason to mince words, and I’m exactly like him in a different way. We have these tendencies that hold us by the throat. We didn’t exactly go out and seek out to become what we are. We were made this way by no fault of our own.” He was listening, but I wasn’t exactly sure how much was getting through to him. “I need you to listen, but first, I need to know that you’re willing to do that.”
“I will listen, but I don’t think that’s gonna change anything. You may as well just kill me right now.” I couldn’t believe that he had the gall to say something like that, especially when he had a family to take care of.
“Derek is not a bad guy. The full moon makes him act more like the animal than the human. It’s not fair that you had to be a part of this. It’s certainly not fair that your father was taken from you at an early age. You were still in need of his guidance and without him; you decided to direct all your attention towards the man that did this to you. I don’t blame you, but it’s time to clear the air.” Derek was pacing back and forth. I wasn’t exactly sure what he was thinking, but it couldn’t be good.
“I don’t know what you want me to say. I’ve apologized, and I really do feel loathsome for what I did to you and your family. With that being said, I still can’t let you go on thinking that this bounty is going to be the answer. I need you to take that down immediately. I know that you are reluctant, and I’m willing to meet you halfway. I have a lot of money, and I’m sure that I can make your life and your kids comfortable. You and the next generation will never have to worry about money. I think that should make up for something.”
“I genuinely want to tell you to go to hell, but I get this feeling that you have another way to deal with me. I doubt that it has anything to do with money.”
“I could kill you, or I could threaten your family, but I don’t want to walk that road with you. I can only hope that coming here with my hand out will be enough for the both of us to get on with our lives. Your father did nothing to me, but the wolf didn’t care. He was there with a gun and the wolf considered him a threat. I’m not making excuses. I’m only explaining what happened. I was tempted to kill you or at the very least make you aware of the fact that I could get to your family like that. I’m not going to do that. When I walk out that door, we will never see each other again. I don’t know if this is enough, but you will receive a lump sum in your account of five million dollars, and your kids will have an education fund of a million each. If you don’t think that is enough, then you need to tell me.” He didn’t get an answer.
Derek walked out distraught and felt like the weight of the world was coming down on his shoulders. “I know that it’s cold comfort, but take what he said and make it enough. I know that money can’t change anything, but with his apology, it should make it easier to swallow. If you can honestly say that this is what your father wanted, then go ahead and finish what you started. Don’t do this for yourself. Do it for your family. That distance that you have been showing without them having any idea of what it’s all about is not fair to them or you. Find some peace and learn that the best way to get over any loss is to turn the other cheek. Revenge will only poison your soul and believe me I have personal knowledge of that subject.”
I walked out, and Derek was standing by the car with his two hands on top of the hood. His head was bowed, and his body looked like it had been defeated. I put my hand on his shoulder. He leaned back against me so that I could hold him in his hour of need.
“I’m glad that you were here with me, Duncan. Without you in my life, I think that I would have handled that a lot differently. I would call you an evil influence, but maybe finding a conscience is a worthy thing.” I didn’t think so when Hiroko and his father had shown me mine, but I had learned that caring about other people’s feelings made me more human than monster.
We spent the night in each other’s arms. We were a little gun shy from what happened before, but that was a risk that we were willing to take. I turned towards him and kissed him hotly feeling that same energetic need for his body. I began to soothe his troubled nerves by kissing every piece of exposed skin that I could find, including the one that was between his legs. I inhaled that serpent, until I was pushing it into my throat with a vengeance. I held on for dear life by driving my fingers into his balls.
“I don’t think that we’re going to find out anything this way, Duncan. What you need to do is get up here and slam me with that nice hard cock of yours. You know the way that I like it and maybe this time you can give me that orgasm without trying to kill me.” It was nice that he was able to see the light side of things, even though we were on the precipice of finding out whether not we could really be together or not.
“I’m going to fuck the cum out of you.” I was licking my lips knowing that I was going to be balls deep inside of him. I opened up his legs and lifted his body, so that I could push a pillow up underneath him for better access.
“I can’t wait for that. We have the sword and I can only assume that even with Hiroko not here with us that we will be perfectly fine. We need to keep a positive outlook and really imagine that everything’s going to be great.” That was a good way to take things and I was going to have to do the same thing.
His ass opened up easily with the lube that I had now liberally coated my shaft with. I looked into his eyes, while lovingly putting my two hands on either side of his face. He mouthed that he was ready. I kissed him, as I penetrated all the way without stopping. He moaned into my mouth and our tongues were now playfully having a bit of fun with each other.
I got a little overanxious and I felt him clench over and over again around me. I guess I was too far gone and I had to admit that this was the kind of rendezvous that I was looking for. “I know that I’m perfect for you in every way, Derek. I can feel it coming and it’s only going to take a little bit longer to get there. I love the way that you hold me inside of you and I look down and I can see how you stretch to accommodate me. Let’s see if you are, as limber as I think you are.” I lifted his legs, until they were up around his ears. I started to do these very hard and insistent pushups that had me grunting and groaning in response. I took one last glance at the sword and made a silent prayer above, before putting things in a high gear.
“Holy fuck… I think I’m going to shoot all over myself… YESSSS.” I pulled back, so that I could see the product of his arousal going off. This caused an avalanche within my balls and that creamy goodness was now taking the express route all the way to the head. I buried myself all the way and I let go with everything that I had. I didn’t hold anything back. I wanted this to be an
awe inspiring orgasm that would make all others pale in comparison.
We looked at each other for a moment and when we realized that things did not get violent, we decided that we just couldn’t keep our hands off of each other. I don’t know how many times we did it that night. I can say without a doubt that I had nothing left by the end of it. We were strewn across the bed with the sheets barely draped over us. We fell asleep knowing that we had passed the test and that the sword would be there for us whenever we decided to get intimate. Maybe in time, we wouldn’t need the sword, but for now we were going to make very good use of it.
We woke at precisely the same time. I went to take a shower, and when I came out, he was visibly changed in some way. He had the computer in front of him and then he turned it towards me and I looked to see that the bounty had been taken down.
“He has sent me a voice mail and told me that he’s willing to let things be. He does ask that I give his kids an abundant life, but he doesn’t want anything for himself. He doesn’t wish to hear from me or see me. His only request is that I leave Las Vegas and put a distance of 1000 miles between him and myself, and I think that is the best thing for everybody.”
“I wasn’t exactly expecting to hear that.” We both turned at the same time to see Hiroko standing in the room. He had found his way in by some unseen force, but that was not something that we needed to dwell on. “I came here to tell you that the bounty has been rescinded. I didn’t think that you had the balls to change, but apparently you had a good teacher.” He turned towards me. He took my two hands and placed his around mine.
“I am grateful for your friendship. You have no idea how much you and your father have meant to me. I’m glad that you’re not forcing me to choose one way or the other. I honestly don’t know how I could possibly do that and live with myself afterward. It’s painful to know that our friendship is strained. I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure that you know that I will always be there for you. You can call upon me anytime you want. It’s the least that I can do for ‘family’” I bowed my head in respect, and I turned to see that Derek had done him the service of doing the same thing.
“I will tell my people that you and Derek are off limits. They may not like it, but there is no bounty on his head anymore. I’m going to make them believe that you’re family. We may not see eye to eye, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t share a bond that goes beyond blood. I think my father would approve of my decision to keep you in my life, regardless of the fact that you walked out on me. I understand the reason why you did it, and I think in the long run it was the only thing you could do. By the way, I have also decided that you can keep the sword. You need it more than I do, and I will always have my father in my heart where he belongs.”
“Are you sure about this, Hiroko? I would never want to take anything that meant that much to you.”
“I don’t need something to remind me of my father. I will admit that having you in my life again has made me see things differently. I’m not as bloodthirsty as I used to be and maybe there is something to say for diplomacy. I’ll be sure to use my words and the wisdom of my father more often. I’m sure that I’ll need to turn to violence, but that will be as a last resort.” He turned and went back towards the door, stopping briefly to look at the sword with a tear in his eye. I had a feeling that he was rethinking his decision, but then he disappeared out the door. I was sure that I would see him again.
“That was very touching, and maybe we should spend some time getting to know your new family. I think that a trip to Japan is exactly what we both need. That’s more than 1000 miles away, and that should appease James and give him a reason to turn to his family, instead of vengeance.” I actually found the idea of going back to where I found my conscience to be like going full circle. I could get in touch with those aged old traditions that I had lost sight of. I might even be able to introduce him to those same things.
The food and the way of life had this calming influence and made you believe that you lived in a different time. I would contact Hiroko and inform him that we would be his extended guests. I didn’t think that he would have a problem with that, and I was right.
He told me over the phone that he was happy to strengthen our bond. I was looking forward to it. Hiroko would welcome Derek into his home. Where he was once trying to kill him, Hiroko could see the merit of embarking on a different path for him and his organization.
We could get away from the rest of the world and find our own little piece of it together. We left Las Vegas. We knew as the plane took off that we would never be back. It might be the city of sin and degradation, but without it, I would’ve never found the man that I was going to spend the rest of my life with.

Currently, single and happy this way, better to be alone sometimes. I'm living in a small apartment in New York, which eh don't know how I feel about it, don't like the city much..
I write M/M romance because I love to share a piece of my mind with others... I think that woman and gay men everywhere feel like they're no longer being seduced by their partner because the truth is most man no longer entice their partners...

Preview of: No Regrets
As a werewolf who had grown up in human society, Adrien never felt like he truly belonged. Adrien will have to make a tough decision: continue to feel as if part of him is missing or leave everything he’s ever known to find himself. As he starts out on the next stage of his life, he finds exactly what he had been looking for: a pack to join and new friends. But he ends up with more than he bargained for when he finds himself head over heels for a dark and handsome local weretiger by the name of Jasper.
His name was Adrien, and it was his first full moon since he left home, his first full moon alone, and his first full moon to run free.
The evening air was crisp and clean. This far from civilization, the Northerly wind smelled of earth and nature. He closed his eyes and filled his lungs until they burned. He let the wind roll over his skin and tug at his clothes, running through his hair. The night would be a clear one. The stars and the moon would be fully visible. It would be bright, and the world would be awash with an unearthly glow.
His body was alive with energy. He was ready. He was eager. He couldn't remember ever feeling this way on a full moon. Instead of restless and anxious, the wolf within was restless with anticipation.
He shivered, feeling his hair stand on end. He held out his arms and grinned, letting the wind and the fading light embrace him. He could feel the change approaching. He could feel the wolf so close to the surface, ready to be released. He could taste the freedom on his tongue, and he was hungry for it.
His parents had meant well. He knew that, and he was grateful for their concern. They did what they thought was best, and his parents did it because they loved him, but spending the full moons pacing in the basement or running the familiar boundaries of the farm would never compare to this.
And he hadn't even changed yet.
He would never understand how his father, born and raised in one of the wild packs of the far north, could give it all up for a caged life. It had been twenty years. Did he miss it? Or could he simply not remember the life and freedom he had left behind? Adrien couldn't believe that his father actually preferred the domestic life to the freedom he found here, in the wild.
Of course, he knew why his dad had given up that life. It had been for love. His mother. A human.
They had tried to raise him with the pack, but despite inheriting the full werewolf genes from his father, they had all seen Adrien as a mistake. His father had been the favorite for the next Alpha,
and he had given it up for a human mate. When the hostility toward two-year-old Adrien and his mother had become too much, they had made the decision to leave the pack, move away, and try to live a quiet life among humans.
It had been a pleasant life. He had few complaints. He had an enjoyable childhood and his teenage years were decent. He had loving, supportive parents. He had good friends. He did well in school and worked hard to do so. He had a few romances, none of which he regretted. When he wasn't at school, doing homework, or playing sports, he was helping his dad on the farm. He lived in a town where everyone knew everyone, but no one bothered anyone. It was a quiet enjoyable life.
At least, it was.
Over the past few years, Adrien had been taking classes at the local college while living at home. He worked hard, but he had been growing increasingly unhappy. Adrien became irritable. He stopped seeing his friends, and his parents were worried. He felt like he didn't know himself. He was expected to be an adult, and yet he knew nothing about half of who he was.
His dad had taught him some things about being a werewolf, especially during puberty when it was all new. He taught Adrien how to handle the change, how to control it, how to be safe during a full moon when controlling the wolf wasn’t possible, but other than that, it was rarely talked about. It was ignored. His parents didn't like to chat about it, and that was how Adrien had grown up: ashamed of who and what he was.
