Gio

  Is this really my life?

I stood there in utter shock, half expecting Cinderella’s fairy godmother to pop into the cinema and start singing Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo.

“You are fucking amazing, Gio.” I removed the box of shoes and spotted another wrapped box. A gift within a gift.

  You just keep surprising me.

This one was a small, silver-wrapped package that fit in both of my hands. It was thin and rectangular, too big for a ring, and too small for a novel. I ripped open the wrapping paper and pulled out a sparkling, white-gold chain. A yellow diamond pendant dangled in the center and was formed into a tree.

How did he know I would love a tree?

It was sort of a Gullah symbol for so many things—a fresh start on life, positive energy, good health, and a bright future. The tree even represented immortality. Although a tree grew old, it bore seeds that contained its very essence, continuing its life over and over.

The whole moment felt so good, I had to sit down in the front row for a few minutes and catch my breath.

When did he do all of this?

  I thought back to earlier.

“Take a shower, princess. I have some surprises.”

A cute little present or teddy bear was a surprise. Tickets to a movie that we hadn’t planned on was a surprise. But what he’d done today was something a person did for their wedding anniversary or to propose. Gio was on another level. All those years I hadn’t given relationships a chance was worth it to be loved by him. One week with him felt like a lifetime of passion and love.

It took me almost the whole hour to do my hair, makeup, and get dressed. As it got closer to one, I rushed to the elevator in the theater, holding my shoes in my hand. The gown’s train trailed behind me. I felt just like Cinderella running through the halls of her prince’s castle.

You look great. Don’t be nervous.

Once I put my shoes on, I took out the key, sticking it in and twisting. A green light came on as a beep sounded. The elevator’s black doors slid open. Sighing, I stepped inside. There was only one button on the wall that had roof written in gold. I pressed it. The doors closed. The elevator rose.

Holy shit. Holy shit. Holy shit.

All types of possibilities spun in my head. Only God knew what Gio had in store. With his resources, he could take us anywhere. He surely didn’t lack in imagination when it came to romancing me.

I’m glad I didn’t let Ru get to me. He’s wrong about Gio. He’s been nothing but amazing to me. He’s not like the other guys in the industry.

Thinking of Ru, I pulled my phone out of my purse and turned it on. I had twenty-three messages and even more texts. I checked the texts first and they were all from RU. Most of them asked where I was. The rest told me to call him immediately. The last line had me a bit worried.

RU: If you don’t contact me today, I’m going to call the police.

I sighed and texted him back.

ME: I’m fine. Gio took me away for a few days. I’ll be back.

  RU: Where are you?

  ME: Salt Lake City.

  RU: Call me right now!

Annoyance spread over my face. I knew they were just words and I couldn’t tell his emotions, but I didn’t like how aggressive and frantic he was being. Sure, I hadn’t come back since last night, but twenty-four hours hadn’t even passed. He was acting like I’d been missing for a week.

The elevator carried me up to the roof, and I didn’t want to spoil Gio’s surprise by talking to Ru on the phone.

ME: I’m busy. I’ll call you later. I’m fine. Relax.

  I shut the phone off.

The elevator doors slid open. Cold air slipped across my bare shoulders. Gio stood in front, holding a jet-black fur coat in his arms. His face was chiseled. His hair styled slick and back. His tuxedo was one of the most expensive I’d ever seen up close. It had a rich blend of Cashmere wool and silk. And even crazier, tiny diamonds outlined the lapel. It didn’t look gaudy or outrageous. It was elegant and stunning.

All I could mumble was, “Wow.”

“I knew the gown would be beautiful on you, but I didn’t know how much you would outshine it.” He curved his lips into a wicked grin. “You look captivating. Stunning.”

“Thank you.” I stepped off the elevator.

He helped me into the fur coat, letting his fingers linger along the curve of my neck. “I have an exciting day planned.”

“You’ve already blown me away with your surprises.” I twisted around and looked at him. “I feel like the luckiest girl on the planet.”

  “Good. That was my intention.”

The snow had stopped falling. Still, a freezing chill rode the air. However, the cold didn’t take away from the beautiful view on the roof. Tall sleek buildings spread throughout the city and far beyond lay the Rocky Mountains topped with snow.

  “It’s pretty out here.”

“One of the best views of the city.” Gio gestured behind him. “Let’s go.”

A helicopter was parked on the roof. Two men dressed in black sat in front with headsets on.

I turned and headed that way.

“No.” He stopped me, tenderly grabbing my arm and pulling me to him. His body pressed against mine as he leaned over my shoulder and whispered. “I want this to be the first of many days we spend like this. You’re making me crazy. I couldn’t think of spending any moment without you.”

My breathing shifted to panting. I turned my head slightly to the side. “I feel the same way too.”

“And this gown looks so beautiful on you.” Hunger dotted his words. “I hope I can behave myself today. I really want to show you around, but I also want to tear this gown off you.”

My heart beat a million miles a minute as I gazed into those gorgeous eyes. “You can’t tear off the gown.” I rubbed my breasts against his chest. “I’m not wearing any panties underneath it.”

He groaned and slipped his gaze all over my body as if he could see through the silky fabric. He entwined his fingers into my hair and leaned down, bringing my face to his. At first, he nipped at my bottom lip, but then he consumed my mouth, sliding his tongue in and out, driving me mad. His hard length pressed against my thighs. My nipples strained against the gown’s corset. My breasts threatened to spill out.

“Gio.” A soft moan escaped my lips.

Kissing me deeper, he pulled my hips into his. His lush scent swarmed all around me. Desire heated my flesh. I felt like I was melting into him.

His hands tightened in my hair. Desire burned in his eyes. “I want to pull that gown up and see how wet you are. You’re very lucky that I don’t want the pilots or anyone else seeing that beautiful pussy between your thighs.”

  I giggled. “Yes, I am.”

He loosened his hold and stepped away. “I’ll be good for now.”

I fake pouted, touched his hard cock over his pants. The fabric was so silky, it smoothed against my fingertips. He grunted, and I continued moving my fingers along his thick length, pausing at the mushroomed tip and squeezing it. “But, do I have to be good?”

“Never.” He licked his lips. “My princess can be as bad as she wants to be.”

Running his fingers through his hair, he guided us away. Both of our expressions must’ve been flushed and horny because the pilots glanced our way and closed the section between them and the cabin, giving us privacy.

I should’ve known by now that Gio wouldn’t do anything simple. Of course, the helicopter wasn’t a typical one. Heated air filled the space. The Mercedes emblem was embroidered in the top of the Italian leather upholstered seats. There were enough seats for six people. A TV had been built in the wall, and large windows lined the side of the cabin.

Holding up the back train of my gown, Gio guided me to my seat and helped buckle me in. “You look nervous.”

  “I am, but good nervous.”

“Maybe a little bubbly will help?” In a compartment under his seat, he pulled out two flutes and a bottle
of champagne.

  “This is perfect.”

He poured me a glass and handed it to me. “This is only the beginning, princess.”

“Damn, Gio.” I toasted to us. “To beginnings.”

  “To beginnings.”

The pilots took us around the breathtaking city. From the air, you really get to take a lot in at once. This area’s landscape was diverse and beautiful. One minute we soared over vast amounts of the deep blue icy water of the Great Salt Lake, the next we zipped over the tops of Mount Olympus and Twin Peaks, and then finally, we hovered over the city’s bustling metropolitan view.

As I enjoyed the aerial view, Gio pointed out little facts he knew about the city and threw a joke in here or there.

Every second was perfect. In that moment, we could’ve fallen from the sky and crashed to the ground, and I would’ve had no regrets.

For lunch, we landed on the helipad of an impressive building that didn’t look like a restaurant at all. Gio wore that devilish smile as he helped me off the helicopter and led me inside.

It took us ten minutes as we strolled through the hallway. Even crazier, Gio’s hands trembled against mine as if he was nervous about something.

What could he be nervous about? What’s he going to do?

I got a clue of my surprise when he led me into a massive auditorium that could fit over three thousand people. A huge orchestra sat on the stage, tuning their instruments—string instruments to brass, woodwinds to percussion. Some of the men and women wore excited expressions as they spotted Gio guiding me to our seat. The whole audience was empty besides us and a small dining staff—two servers, a chef, and waiter. They stood in the front row next to a low table that had been placed in front of two seats.

“I thought we should check out the Utah Symphony orchestra,” he said. “I love listening to them, when I’m up here. Although usually, I go in a disguise.”

  “What disguise do you wear?”

“Long brown wig, an old blue suit, scuffed-toed loafers, and no jewelry. Once people see the shoes or suit, they tend to ignore my face.”

  “Typical.” I shook my head.

“Yeah. Most in our society only place value to symbols of wealth. If I had on something designer, many would look at my face and try to guess if they knew me. But if they think I’m dressed beneath standards, they walk on by, not giving me a second look.”

  “That’s smart of you.”

He showed me my seat, waited for me to sit, and went to his.

Our waitress showed us what we’d be served for that afternoon. It was a five-course meal full of dishes I’d never tried, yet my mouth salivated just the same. She poured us wine and left us to enjoy the orchestra that had just begun to play. They filled the air with the distinctive sounds of classical music. Light and airy. Homophonic melodies layered with powerful playing.

Gio leaned my way and whispered, “I’ll be right back.”

“Okay.” I nodded, sipped my wine, and continued to be captivated by the orchestra.

A minute later, the lights dimmed. Near the stage, everything darkened. I set my glass down as their playing changed into a slower melody, one I remembered from long ago.

Gio’s deep, seductive voice penetrated the air and made me shudder. “Fly with me to Eden. Come slowly.”

I almost screamed like a fangirl. Like I hadn’t fucked or kissed him. I couldn’t fucking believe it. As soon as the lyrics to my favorite song Serpent came out, all I could think of were the memories of listening to this song in my bed. There’d been so many nights when I couldn’t sleep from loneliness and heartache. I’d listened to this song just to soothe my heart. Just to get enough peace to go to sleep.

I raised my hands in the air, shaking my fists, unable to control myself. Hearing this live elevated the experience to another level. I bet many people would’ve spent thousands just to hear it.

The lights illuminated on the center of the stage and there Gio stood. His guitar was slung over his shoulder and all I yearned to do was climb up on that stage and rip off his tuxedo.

Drinking in his gorgeous face, I sucked in a deep breath and let it out slowly.

“Lips like sipping jasmines. Come hold me.” His voice mesmerized my heart. Everyone disappeared in the room and as far as I was concerned, it was only him and me. Both hands covered the mic as he closed his eyes. “You are the one, my flower. I’m lit for you, exploding upon the hour.”

When he opened his eyes, he gazed at me. Heat flushed my cheeks. My thighs were soaking wet, my pussy ready for him as he continued singing to me. “In the bush, twist with me my little serpent. I’m consumed. I’m alive. Baby, I’m burning.”

Lost. I was totally lost. In him. In the music. In the romance of it all. In the moment. In this new beginning because surely, this wasn’t the end.

As if he was trying to give me a heart attack for being so goddamn sexy and perfect, he swung his guitar around with signature Gio swag. “In the bush, twist with me my little serpent.”

He glided his fingers over the taut strings of his guitar. Each note vibrated through my body. “I’m consumed. I’m alive. Baby, I’m burning”

Gio’s voice was pure. Jason had written him amazing songs. Poetic lyrics, yet simple and direct. Every note, every beat was exactly what was needed to capture the essence of music.

He sung two more songs, and I sat there hypnotized.

When he returned, my hunger for food had left. I didn’t even want to hear the orchestra anymore. All I craved was him.

Taking his jacket off, he sat down. “That wasn’t too narcissistic, was it? I know you said you loved Serpent.”

I held one finger up and guided him to come closer to me. He leaned my way and I whispered in his ear, “I want to suck you off right now.”

He snapped his gaze to me. Heat pooled in those eyes. He held his hand in the air. Our server rushed to him, and they whispered back and forth as the orchestra played on stage. But I had no idea what the melody was about. All I could think about was the hunger blazing in my body.

I squeezed my thighs and gritted my teeth.

Gio finished his conversation with the waiter and returned his gaze to me. No words left his mouth as desire decorated his face.

I almost asked him what he’d told them, and then I noticed the waiters rushing onto the stage. Some of the musicians stopped playing. Others continued only to be stopped by the person next to them. Minute by minute, Gio targeted me with his lusty gaze and the orchestra began to disappear, not even putting up their instruments as they rushed off the stage.

Five minutes passed. The auditorium was empty except him and me.

Gio slid his hands down to my leg, lifted my gown, and slipped his fingertips up my thigh. He watched his hands as they moved over the shimmering material. His eyes were half-closed and dreamy. “Now...what were you saying?”

I spread my legs, welcoming his fingers to my pussy. “I want your cock in my mouth.”

  “You’re not hungry?”

“Not for food.” My nipples stiffened and pushed against the silk.

Inch by inch, Gio’s gaze traveled over my body.

I couldn’t take it anymore. I rose from my seat, shocking him. He moved his hands away as I got on top of him, straddling his legs.

“You make me crazy.” I breathed him in and devoured his mouth. He guided his hands back up my gown, pushing it up. The pressure of his hands increased on my thighs.

“Are you wet for me?” he asked.

  “Yes, Gio.”

He touched my inner thigh, sending shivers through me. “So, when you decided not to wear panties, what were you thinking?”

He slipped his hands further up. His fingertips brushed against my pussy. I trembled against him.

“I wanted to make sure there was easy access, so you could fuck me anytime. Anywhere.”

He groaned, caressing my wet pussy, slipping the tips along my clit, and sending a wave of pleasure through me. His fingers moved fur
ther north, stroking me softly, and sliding into my pussy.

I moved my hips in response. My voice was a breathless whisper. “Oh, Gio. Give me that cock.”

  “I love when you beg.”

  “I can beg more.”

  “Until you’re hoarse, princess?”

  “Yes.”

“Until you’re coming all over this cock?”

  “Yes.”

“This gown was so lovely, but now I’m going to have to rip it off you.” Gio freed one hand from under my gown and used that to yank down the top. My breasts spilled out of it. My stiff nipples greeted his eyes. He wasted no time and buried his face between them, lapping at my nipples and making me scream.

  “Oh.”

The touch of his tongue, the friction of his fingers moving inside of my pussy, the heat of the moment, the desire for this man. It all tumbled and twisted inside of me. I wound my fingers through his hair, holding him gently against my breast, craving more of his mouth.

“Simone. Simone.” He drew a nipple into his mouth, sucking the hungry point gently at first, and then with increasing eagerness, tugging.

Moaning, I arched my back. “I’m so close.”

“Yes, princess. First, you’re going to cum on my hands. Then, I’m going to bend you over these auditorium seats and pound into you. Then I’m going to fuck you on the stage and on that helicopter ride home, and in our bed again tonight.”

“Please,” was all I could mumble as I came, hard, shuddering against his fingers. My breasts jiggled and bounced against his face. And he held me, moaning with me.

He made good on his promise, pumping into me as I bent over the seat. My gown lay on the floor with his tuxedo. With no rational thought, we fucked for hours in that auditorium, butt naked, and moaning so loud.

I had no idea if the chef and serving staff had left. I wasn’t sure if the orchestra had waited around to get their instruments. Many of the instruments were still on the stage. I knew this because Gio carried me up by the violins, lay me down, and licked my pussy. And then somehow, we ended up near the brass section as I rode his cock and he accidentally spilled cum all over a trombone.
