Brothers Black 6: Ryan the Joker (Brothers Black Series) Page 25

by Blue Saffire

Unscrewing the cap and replacing it once the safeguard is removed, he hovers on his knees and pours some of the oil on my belly. With one hand, he rubs the oil in. The scent of apples reaches me, bringing a smile to my face as I look him in the eyes. There’s so much heat there. Promise of so much to come.

We have a wordless exchange that causes me to squirm. The baby pushes back at Ry’s hand, making me laugh. Ry gives me a brilliant smile.

“Come on, little guy. You’re going to mind your little business in there. Don’t be trying to cock block.”

“Ryan,” I chide. “You can’t say stuff like that to the baby.”

He gives me a look. “Seriously, babe. Have you not been around my family? This kid is going to hear a lot worse.”

I cover my face and groan. Ryan’s potty mouth will corrupt this poor baby before it gets here. I can only imagine after it arrives. Shoot, I have found myself cursing way more since we’ve been together.

More oil hits my skin. I peek out through my fingers. Ryan has poured it between my breasts. He puts the bottle back on the nightstand and massages and kneads my mounds. I forget what we were just talking about.

Moans float from my lips as I arch up off the bed. My skin is slick enough that he’s able to spread the oil over my arms and then down my legs. My senses are on overload by the time he decides to give me a reprieve from this torture.

“Oh, yes,” I cry out when he lowers between my thighs and sucks my lower lips into his mouth.

“Mmm, that’s my girl. You taste so good.” He parts my folds with his fingers. “Let me hear it.”

I rock my hips against his face as I continue to cry out. I claw at the sheets and bite my lip. Ryan grasps a tight hold of my thighs and pushes his face in deeper. I close my eyes tight and beg for mercy in my head because I know to say it out loud is useless.

I shudder as he brings me to my first climax. When I open my eyes it’s like snowflakes are falling in my vision and I swear my glasses are fogging up. My heart pounds so hard, I tighten my grip on the sheets.

“Ryan, please. Not again,” I plead.

He chuckles. “Find your center, baby. I’m just getting started.”

  Oh God. Help me now.

  Ryan

When I arrived and found that box on the front porch, I couldn’t wait to get into the house. After spending time with Braxton and shoring up my plans, I was stoked. I’m going to propose. I hope to have a ring picked within the week.

“One more, babe,” I croon as I finger her sopping wet pussy.

I’ve been keeping them coming. The sheets are drenched and so is my face. I lick around my mouth as I watch her come apart once more. Damn, I love this pussy. I’m so hard, I can’t wait a second more to have her.

Lifting to my knees, I know exactly how I want her. Placing a hand on her belly, I gently roll her onto her side and then to her knees. Her juicy ass bounces as I put her in position. My cock starts to leak.

  “Damn,” I groan to myself.

Reaching for the oil again, I can’t take my eyes off her fat dripping cunt. I finger the dripping juices and bring the delicious essence to my lips. I groan around my digit as the taste of my girl and the oil mix.

I’m reckless with the liquid as I pour it on her back and ass. I want to watch her ass glisten as I move in and out of her. It’s all I’ve been able to think about.

She lowers her torso to the bed and tucks in, lifting her globes higher as if in offering to me. Yeah, my baby knows her man. I give her cheek a slap and watch it vibrate.

  “Fuck this.”

I grab my cock and glide right into her. Her tight heat sucks me right in and my eyes roll in my head. If my girl weren’t already a perfect ten her pussy would make up for everything else. I lie to you not.

This shit has the power to shut my brain down. I groan and grunt as I move in and out of her slowly. When I look down at our connection, I have to bite my lips to keep from coming.

Each time my pelvis bumps up against her cheeks, it ripples. Her thick ass is so sexy around my pale rod. Damn, I love fucking her and watching her pussy swallow my dick.

Carmen gasps, and I freeze. “Are you all right?”

“Please, don’t stop. So good, baby. Please,” she says as she turns to look over her shoulders.

I nearly bust out laughing while gritting my teeth as I see I’ve knocked her glasses askew on her face. They’re crooked and barely holding on.

  Sexy.

I grasp her tits and pull her oily back to my chest. Sitting back on my heels I start to drop her up and down on my shaft as I thrust up. I look down at her in awe.

“You belong to me. This dick belongs to you,” I say huskily in her ear. “That’s it. Gush all over me. Mark me as yours. I’m going to coat them walls with all this cream.”

She sucks that full bottom lip into her mouth. I groan and dip my head to nip the top one before moving to stare down at her again. Although her glasses are tossed across her face, when she looks up at me with a world of trust in her eyes, something inside me catches.

I realize that her trust is what I want most. I want to look in her eyes and see that she knows I’m here for her. I’m the one that will do anything for her. There isn’t a man on this earth that will love her the way I do. It’s not possible because I love this woman more than life itself.

As our eyes connect, I tell her all of that without speaking a word. I don’t have to. She gets me. When she cups my face, I see the same look in her gaze.

“I love you too,” she says softly, confirming what I already know.

I fix her glasses with my teeth before placing my forehead to hers. I ease us into making love. Her body moves against mine easily.

I palm her stomach and breathe her in. For once, I think we’re both seeing things clearly. I’ve opened my heart to her and I have no plans of ever closing it.

“I love you more than you could ever know. Today, tomorrow and forever, I’m yours.”

  Chapter 38

  We’re Here

  Carmen

“I’ve been wanting to ask you guys about something,” I say quickly, like tearing the band-aid off.

“What’s up?” Roni says as she breastfeeds the baby.

I pause for a moment as I watch her and her little one. Those cute little fat cheeks. You would never know Roni was nearly two months early.

I lift my gaze to Roni. She’s different. At times she’s still distant, but she’s happy. True happiness lives in her eyes. It’s not something that was there before.

I shake those thoughts off before I chicken out. Chewing on my lip, I try to decide how to say this. It’s been gnawing at me for weeks.

“Well, it seems like I’m the only one that was freaked out by the shooting,” I say and pause looking around at everyone.

Nellie pushes her glasses up her nose as she holds Evan against her shoulder burping him. Heather sits back looking as if she’s ready to pop. She’s due any day now. Bean looks exhausted as she holds her newborn son in her arms. She even nods a bit before catching herself.

I purse my lips not to laugh. That will be me in two more months. I’m not going to make fun of anyone.

I continue as my thoughts come together. “You guys handled the situation like it was just another day at the office.”

  Roni shrugs. “It was.”

“Yeah, we’ve been through worse,” Nellie says.

Kamara comes from the kitchen with a tray of pastries and fruits. My stomach growls on queue. Leaning in, I snatch a tart before the tray hits the table.

“I think we have all become desensitized. You know. We’ve been kidnapped and attacked before. Now the instinct is to protect ourselves and our children,” Kamara says.

I scrunch my face up as I think on that. I guess that’s sort of how I felt the day I was attacked. I went into survival mode.

“I guess I can understand that.”

“Listen, Carmen, a lot has changed and will continue to cha
nge,” Roni says. “We’ll be ready for whatever. There are a lot of us having babies or that just had babies, but the ladies in New York are waiting on us to start training like they have. If we’re going to be a part of this, we’re going to be ready.”

“Oh man, why do I feel like y’all are about to get me in trouble with Wyatt?” Nellie groans.

“Trust me. He’ll get over it. If what I know is coming, is coming, you’re going to want to hear Val out. We all have a role to play and I, for one, would rather be ready when the time comes.”

“I don’t know,” Kamara says, wringing her hands. “Toby is already going to be angry when he finds out what I’ve been up to.”

“So what’s a little more trouble. Besides, I’ll take the rap for whatever. I can handle John,” Roni says.

“What’s the deal with you two?” Heather blurts out as she locks her gaze on Roni.

“We are what we are,” she replies. “He gets me and I understand him.”

“Ah,” Heather says, not sounding too convinced.

“Anyway, if you’re not comfortable, Carmen, it will come. You sort of grow into it. I know a lot of us have been around the Blacks for forever so we’re used to it, but I think you’ll be fine,” Bean says.

“Yeah,” Kamara says. “Once you decide you want to be a part of this family everything else grows on you.”

“Like she has a choice.” Bean giggles. “Ryan has it bad. I think he’s fallen the hardest of all the brothers. The guys have been up to something and I think it has something to do with you.”

  “Hush,” Roni hisses at her.

I narrow my eyes. Ryan has been acting a little strange the last few days. At first, I thought it had something to do with work. However, this morning when he practically rushed me to get dressed to come hang out with the girls, I got a little suspicious.

I don’t normally go out much. I’ve taken a break from NY/LA Connection. I’ll decide if I want to go back after the baby.

“Ugh, does this little girl know that she can’t stay in my ribs like this,” Heather groans.

“I so don’t miss that,” Nellie laughs. “Wyatt mentioned another baby this morning and I swear I almost threw a butter knife at him.”

“Toby has been hinting, but I am not listening.” Kamara chuckles.

“I’m surprised you guys haven’t had another baby. I thought for sure you two would have had more by now,” Bean says tiredly.

“I think we have had enough on our plates. Things are only beginning to settle in my home. We have time.”

“Are you guys thinking of moving there?” I ask.

  “I don’t know. We’ve talked about it.”

“I’ll be sad if you guys go,” Nellie says.

“Nothing has been decided. We don’t have to rush to leave for now. We will see what happens,” Kamara says.

I look around at all these women I’ve come to call friends. Their friendship feels different from what I had with Courtney. I don’t have to question this group. They are all down to earth and will stick up for each other.

I commented on one of Courtney’s pics on social media and her mean girlfriends made a few snide comments. Once Courtney said nothing, I realized that she never would. To stay with the in-crowd she will always be silent and go along with whatever their silly behavior is.

I’m fine with that. We’re adults and I have adult things going on in my life. These women understand that and have welcomed me into their friendship.

“Are you okay?” Nellie asks as she comes to sit closer.

When I look up from my thoughts, I see that Kamara has taken the baby. I turn to Nellie. Am I okay?

“Yeah, I think I am. I think I’ve found what I’ve been missing. I wasn’t looking before, but I found it somehow.”

Ryan. He brought a whole new world with him. A world I was already connected to without knowing. Funny. It feels right.

Nellie places a hand on my knee. “We’re here if you need us. We’re family. We’re always here,” she says the words to me, but I catch that something passes between her and Roni.

“Thanks,” I murmur as a chill runs through.

It’s eerie. I can’t place it, but I get the feeling those words will ring true one day. I shake the feeling off, I’m being silly.

  Ryan

“Is that the one?” Dad asks as he pats me on the shoulder.

I look at the ring in my hands. It’s one in what seems like a million sitting in the black velour cases in front of me, but I think it’s the one. It’s no small rock. Carmen deserves the best and I’m going all out.

However, my baby isn’t flashy, which makes this ring perfect for her. It’s simple, yet stunning. The blush colored diamond in the center says it all as smaller white diamonds form elegant leaf like designs on either side of the band.

“This is one of my favorites,” Tanya, Braxon’s jeweler says.

  “So, kid?” Noah says.

The room is filled with anticipation. I asked my parents and brothers to be here with me when I picked the ring. I look to my mother and hold my breath as we lock gazes. For me, this is the one, but if she says it’s wrong, I’ll pick something else.

“Ye be a nasty little fucker,” she says with a smile on her lips. “I know why ye picked the blush diamond. Aye, it’s a grand ring, but yer as filthy as they come.”

Dad snorts. “I don’t want to know. And I wouldn’t be so sure about that, lass. They’re all nasty. The things I spare you.”

I can’t help smiling back at my mother. She’s right, I did pick this one for a reason. Most likely for the same reason she’s thinking.

Carmen giving me her virginity was a big deal to me. I will cherish that for the rest of my life. Whenever I look at this ring, I’m going to think of that.

“This is the one,” I say.

Everyone cheers and Brax pops a bottle of champagne. Now all I have to do is finish working on my plans for the proposal. I look at my dad and groan.

I have one more thing to do before I propose, talk to my future father-in-law. If that stubborn ass comes up with a reason why I can’t marry his daughter, we’re going to have a problem. I sometimes regret pissing him off so much in the past. He’s hell bent on fucking with me now.

“I’ll talk to him,” I say to my father.

He pats my back. “Aye, I know you will. You’re a good kid, Ryan. He’s been waiting for you to come to him the right way.”

  “Yeah, yeah, I know.”

“We’re here if you need us,” he says. Then he turns to us all. “I’m proud of my boys. You all have become fine lads.”

“Aye, ye all make me proud,” Mom adds.

  Chapter 39

  Time for Us

  Carmen

“It feels like forever since we’ve had time alone.” I sigh as Ryan rubs my feet.

A lazy day on the couch. It’s all a girl could ask for. A moment to be still.

“Yeah, I know. I’m waiting for your mom or mine to jump out and start barking orders. I had planned to paint the nursery.”

I start to laugh. “Right, but you were taking too long. I can’t believe your mom. She’s the best. I love the color and the furniture. It’s perfect.”

He lifts my foot to his lips to kiss. “You’re happy. That’s all that matters.”

  “Yeah, I am happy.”

“Good. What should we do today? Quick before one of our phones ring.”

“Ugh, as long as I don’t have to move off this couch, I don’t care,” I groan.

He chuckles and moves on to massage my other foot. This is paradise. I could stay like this forever.

“Hey, I almost forgot to ask. Did you get things cleared up with finishing your degree online?”

“To my father’s great pleasure, yes. I can complete both degrees online. I’ve gotten through most of the film courses that aren’t available online, which means at some point I will have to attend one or two brick and mortar courses, but there’s no rush for th
at.”

“Honestly, I can finish both programs faster this way. I was already moving at an accelerated pace. I’ll start classes next week and should be able to graduate around the same time,” I say and shrug.

“You sure this is what you want?”

“Yeah, after thinking about it. I at least want to finish what I started. I think that will bother me more than anything. I’ll think about what’s next after. Daddy and I still haven’t had the time to sit and talk about what my place will be within Nash Media.”

  “Cool, whatever makes you happy.”

“You know something. I’ve wondered if I was confused and undecided about everything because of the baby.” I laugh.

“Oh, shit. I didn’t think of that. You were totally sold on your career path in Ireland.” Ryan snorts. “My little monster has caused a whole lot of trouble.”

“Our baby is not a monster.” I nudge his thigh with the foot he’s not working on.

“It’s a Black. Trust, that little child is a monster.”

My lips turn up. It’s the first time he hasn’t called the baby a he. I think it’s starting to sink in that we’re in fact having a girl. I know we are.

“So you’re finally seeing that we’re having a baby girl, are you?”

His eyes widen and he looks at me in mock shock. “Those words have never left my mouth. Nor will they ever. We’re having a healthy baby and I’m winning the bet.”

I laugh and toss my head back against the arm of the couch. This feels so right. I push down the nagging feelings I’ve been having the last few weeks.

I don’t know what it is. It’s like something big is coming. I haven’t been able to explain it or put my finger on it, but it’s been gnawing my nerves something awful.

“I think everything will settle into place like it should. You don’t have to rush things with school. If it’s what you want, I’m here to support you. I’ll help with the baby when you need to study. I’ve been talking to Dad about how I can fit into the team again once things die down—”
