  “Alright, people she’s done! Our goddess has arrived. Now, for the dress!” She walked over to cover that had the dress inside. My mom walked over and helped her pull the cover from the dress, very carefully.

  I stood up and walked over to my bed where they stood, holding up the dress for me to look at. It was the most gorgeous dress that I had ever seen. It reminded me of my mom’s wedding dress but altered a shit ton to look more modern but ever so elegant.

  “Mom is that your dress!?” I shrieked. She covered her ears and laughed.

  “Yes, darling. You and I share the same body stature, so I took it into the dress shop in town and they altered it to your specifications. You remember all those magazines you and Athena used to drool over, with all the wedding dresses. I found one a long time ago. I saved it for this day. They did an amazing job with it. Do you like it?” She asked with hope.

  “Mom, I more than like it. I fucking love it! It’s the most beautiful thing I have ever laid my eyes on.” Tears started brimming my eyes.

  She walked over and hugged me. Tears fell down her cheeks. She pulled back and started smiling. “Now, I’ll let Hazel and Athena help you get it on. Lainey and I are going to go grab something to drink. We will be back up in a minute.” She said as she gave the dress to Athena. Her and Lainey stepped out.

  The girls ushered me into the bathroom and shut the door. I stripped my robe off and they helped me step into the dress. Careful not to step on any part of it, I fit inside of it perfectly. It was a corset style dress where it had to be laced and tied in the back. Even having a small waist, Athena made sure the fucking thing was hard for me to breath in. Bitch. It had no straps on it or ties around the neck, it was simply kept up by my boobs. Which thankfully filled the dress out nicely. Rhett was going to love that part, lots of chest. The bottom half was considered high-low, where the front was just above knee level and the back flowed into a small train. It was elegant but sexy. Good thing I shaved and put on some oil. Legs were a-go. Hazel walked out of the room for a second and then came back in with another pair of Louboutin heels. They were white this time with red bottoms. Of course, they were five-inch heels. My feet were going to hurt but I didn’t care, they were stunning. She helped me step into them. I felt like a barbie doll by the time they were done.

  They both started jumping and clapping like little girls. “Holy shit girl. I don’t think anyone could ever look more gorgeous than you do right now. Come here! Look in your mirror in the bedroom!” Athena screamed.

  They helped me walk out of the bathroom and into my bedroom to my full body mirror that hung on my wall. Once I looked at the mirror, my jaw dropped. I tried to say something, but I couldn’t. Either from how tight the dress was or from how great of a job the girls did at getting me ready for my wedding. The dress was definitely made perfectly for me. It flowed where it should, the corset hugged where it needed to. There was lace and diamond sequins. It sparkled when the light hit them right.

  My hair was pulled up with loose curls. They kept my side bangs straight, just how I liked them, but some hair was pulled down on both sides, hanging in loose curls. I had tiny white flowers spread throughout my hair. I tiny silver tiara was set lightly on the top of my head. A beautiful shade of red lipstick was on, It was shiny looking. Smudge resistant. Some cover-up, blush, and the contour was excellent. Nothing I could ever dream of doing on my own. My eyebrows were plucked and shaped with a perfect arch. My eyeshadow was a few shades of brown which matched my eyes. The eyeliner was dead on, and my eyelashes were long as shit with the mascara that was added.

  Hazel walked over and used a finger to push my jaw back up into place. She started laughing. “That’s exactly how we feel right now, girl. Speechless. My brother is one lucky dog. I can’t wait to see his face when he sees you.” She squeaked.

  A knock hit the door and we all froze. “Who is it!?” Athena yelled.

  “Mom, Dad, and the best man!” My dad yelled from the other side of the door.

  I nodded to Hazel to open the door. They all snuck in, careful not to let anyone in the hallway passing by see. Finn shut the door behind them. The three of them just stood there and gawked at me. I started to blush, although I’m not sure they could see with all the make-up I had on. My mom burst into tears and my dad had a proud and happy look on his face. Finn was still gawking. Hazel walked over and did to him what she did to me, helping him with his jaw. She giggled.

  “Hunny. My dear baby girl. You look like a queen. I’m not sure I can walk you down the aisle. I don’t think I’m ready to give my baby girl away.” He said with tears threatening to spill from his eyes. He walked over and gave me a tight squeeze. My mom came over and hugged us both. Everyone joined in and that’s when I lost it.

  “Thank you all so much for everything you’ve done for me. I love you all.” They all started giggling and crying with me.

  “Ahem. I have to gather your ring for the ceremony.” Finn said holding out his hand. I slipped the ring off and handed it to him. He took it and smiled. He walked out the door.

  “It’s seven-thirty. I’ll be back in half an hour to get my girl. Give you girls time to finish up.” Dad said as he kissed my cheek and walked with my mother out of my room. My mom stopped briefly to look at me one more time with tears in her eyes. She’s going to kill me if she keeps looking at me like that.

  “We’ll be in the bathroom, you sit your pretty ass down and relax.” Athena said before they locked themselves in my bathroom.

  I took a seat at the vanity again. Chugging my energy drink. As I tipped back the rest, another knock came at the door. I got up and walked over to the door. “Who is it?” I asked.

  “It’s me, baby. Don’t open the door, everyone would kill me. I just really needed to hear your voice before the ceremony started.” He quietly choked out. Tears brimmed my eyes yet again.

  “I’m glad you came up here. It’s so nice to hear your voice. I miss you and just want to be in your arms. Please don’t let me go for one second after tonight.” I whispered.

  He was silent for a couple of moments. I heard a sniffle. Oh my god, my heart. He’s crying. I so badly want to throw open the door and run into his strong arms.

  “Don’t worry baby, I won’t let you go. You’re mine. Forever, until the day I die. I so badly want to kick down the door that separates us. But, I know I’d get murdered.” He chuckled. He went silent for a moment. “I love you, Scarlett. More than anything in this life. I can’t wait to see you walk down the aisle. Tonight is going to be the best night of my life, baby. I love you, I’ll see you shortly.” He said and then he was gone.

  Tears spilled from my eyes. I need to hold him. Right now! I wiped the tears away and leaned against the door, trying to catch some deep breaths. It was proving hard in this dress. A few minutes later the girls came out of the bathroom. Now it was my turn for my jaw to drop. They both wore floor-length dresses. They matched. Red dresses that hugged their curves and flowed the rest of the way down, past their hips. They showed lots of chest and the backs were open. Athena’s hair was half up and half down. Hazel’s was pulled into a ponytail. The hair that hung from the ponytail was curled. Their make up matched. They looked so beautiful. I’m so fucking lucky to have these ladies stand by my side through this.

  “You girls look fucking phenomenal. And you did it in record time. My dad is about to knock on the door.” I said as I opened the door as my dad was about to knock.

  The girls laughed and then ran downstairs ahead of us. My dad stood there and smiled at me, holding his arm out for me to take. I hooked my arm through his and he slowly helped me walk down the stairs. We safely made it down and got to the kitchen. He stopped me.

  “I love you, Scarlett. You’re my only child and I take great pride in you. You’ve grown up beautifully. You’re an amazing person and you’ve done amazing things for everyone in your life. Your mother and I couldn’t be more proud. You’ve found yourself a worthy mate, and that I’m very thankful for
. The love you two share comforts this old man. I know you’ll be well taken care of. Now, let’s get you to your hubby to be. He’s been a nervous wreck since arriving. I thought he was going to faint at one point. His wolf is very eager to make you his, fully. Let’s not keep the poor bastard waiting.” He said laughing and brushing a hand on my cheek.

  “I love you daddy. Thank you for raising me and being the best dad on this planet. I’m thankful for both you and mom. I want her to walk with us. I think it’d be perfect.” I said with tears streaming down my face.

  “You don’t have to say that twice baby girl, I’m right here. Right by your side.” She said as she came up and pressed a kiss to my cheek. She looped her arm through mine. I couldn’t even begin to explain the level of happiness that swarmed my heart right now.

  “Are you ready baby?” My dad asked.

  “Y-yes. I’m ready dad, and mom.” I choked out.

  They both smiled and rubbed my arms, soothing me, like they’ve always done. We walked to the sliding glass doors that led to the back porch. I took a breather. Music started playing. Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” started playing. I realized I never told Rhett about this being the song I dreamed of having played at my wedding. Athena. Damn that girl was too good.

  The three of us made it out onto the porch. The sight before my eyes was something out of a fairytale book. There was a red carpet that led from the steps to the altar. They had brought in a special gazebo for Rhett and me to stand in. Oh my god. My mate!! He stood there. Staring right back at me, his jaw dropped at the sight of me. He stopped breathing. Finn even elbowed him and he didn’t budge, making everyone snicker. There were tons of people from both packs, the yard was crowded. Rhett looked incredible, his black suit hugged his form so deliciously. He was trimmed up and his hair slicked back, his mouth turned into a gorgeous smile. My heart was pounding a million miles an hour. It was so hard for me to move the way his eyes pinned me down. My parents had to pull me along with them. Again, everyone snickered at us. But I didn’t care. They knew how it was when mates were about to complete their bonding. Senses heightened. You and your wolf couldn’t wait to complete everything with their mate. It was breathtaking.

  After what seemed like forever, I made it up the steps of the gazebo and stood in front of my mate. I looked back at my parents and they smiled and did a small bow, then made their way to their seats. My dad gave Rhett a nod and he nodded back. Respect and love. Oh, my heart can’t take much more. Rhett held his hands out for me to take and I obliged by giving him mine. At this point, my body just moved to whatever he did. We both just smiled like idiots at each other.

  “You are the most amazing thing I’ve ever had the pleasure of laying my eyes upon. Scar, I don’t know what to say. I’m speechless. You’ve always been stunning but right now, you light up my whole world. I can’t take my eyes off of you, my mate.” He whispered.

  “You’re not so bad yourself, sexy. I can’t tell you how hard it is for me to breathe right now, looking at you. I’m so in love with you Rhett. I’m so happy that you’re mine.” I whispered back, tears threatening to spill.

  A throat cleared next to us. I almost jumped, not realizing that Amora and Sybil were standing there. How long have they been here? I don’t remember them being there when I walked up. Witches and being sneaky. Or I was too busy gawking at my man to notice them. Oops. Rhett and I looked at them both, smiling. They smiled back and nodded. They both looked beautiful, dressing in purple, hair down and wavy like normal. Makeup on this time and all their jewelry dangled. Natural as ever. I love those two as well, they’ve become family. The music died off and everyone became silent as Athena stared everyone down.

  “We’d like to begin by thanking everyone for being here on Rhett and Scarlett’s special day. For all the help to set it up. The turnout is wonderful. This is a happy day for us all. There is nothing more beautiful and sacred when two lovers come together in matrimony. Amora and I will be the ones who officiate this bonding. Rhett. Scarlett. Thank you for having us here today. We are honored to be here and honored to be the ones who bind you together as true mates. You two are aware that things change once you complete the ceremony by sharing blood. If at any time you need anything, please speak up. There are many people who are here that will be glad to assist. Now, let’s start the ceremony in binding you two as one.

  After Sybil spoke the last words, Rhett and I cut our forearms and let the blood flow. Once there was a good stream flowing, we put our forearms together. Instantly a wave of light took over my whole body. It burned for a second, I thought I was going to be sick for a moment. My heartbeat doubled. I got hot. I couldn’t breathe. Again Rhett’s whole life flashed before my eyes. Then mine. Pretty sure I even saw a glimpse of the future. I felt everything he felt. I realized we were acting as one whole. I could hear every thought, I could feel his heartbeat inside my chest. His blood flowing through my veins. When I came to I was being held up by my dad and Rhett was being held up by Finn. I started panting like I ran a ten-mile race. But my wolf felt more than satisfied. Any worry she had before was gone. She was at peace finally. She was smug that’s for sure. After I caught my wind, I was able to stand on my own again. The same with Rhett. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a bowl in Amora’s hands, with our blood. There was a good amount in it. My focus returned to my mate. He was staring right into my soul.

  “You may kiss…” Before Sybil could finish her sentence, Rhett grabbed me into his arms and smashed his lips against mine. Hard. He took the breath right out of me. Again. We were lost in each other's presence. The world did not exist at that moment, it was just us. He used one hand to hold the back of my head and the other was wrapped around my waist, holding me up. There was cheering in the background but it was distant. Rhett took over my body. When we pulled away, we were both panting, again. It was incredible. Rhett is mine. I am his. Forever. And it felt like we’ve been together for lifetimes. Everything came crashing down on us in seconds. It was so insane.

  We stood there and stared at each other for a few moments before we fully came to and remembered there were two packs cheering at us. We couldn’t help but laugh. He pulled me into another hug and kiss before pulling back and grabbing my hand. Amore and Sybil told us to enjoy our night and gave us hugs. We said our thanks and started walking back down the aisle. Everyone was throwing rice over us. We laughed and ran out way back into the house. Food was being brought outside by pack members. Getting ready for a big feast and cake. Rhett and I ran upstairs to my room so we could have some alone time before changing into more comfortable clothes.

  Right as we were about to tear each other's clothes off, we both started getting pack linked by our families, yelling at us to come back down for pictures. We both sighed and started laughing. We gathered our composure and when we walked back downstairs and outside to the backyard we were getting glares. Picturing taking took about an hour. We probably took pictures with almost all family and pack members. By then I was exhausted but we had fun. We got some really awesome silly group pictures. After pictures, most Iron Pack members came up and gave me their respects on being their new and completed Alpha female. It warmed my heart with how much they all respected and loved me. It made Rhett proud and it showed on his face.

  “They love you so much already. I couldn’t ask for a better alpha mate. You’ve done me proud baby. Now, how about we go finish what we started earlier before we got so rudely interrupted.” Rhett waggled his eyebrows at me.

  I slapped his chest, slipped off my heels, and ran for my bedroom. Rhett yelled and then took off after me. I got up to my bedroom and tried shutting the door on him, but he was right there and held the door. I backed up towards the bed. With fierce passion in his eyes, he walked over to me and stood inches from me, looking into my soul. We stood there just staring in wonder at one another. The magnetic pull between us had us panting and we weren’t
even touching each other, yet.

  He took his hands and ran them up my arms to my shoulders. His touch had the hairs on my arms standing up like his hands were full of electricity, it was the craziest feeling. He grabbed my waist and turned me around. Rhett took a finger and ran it down my neck and down my back where my dress was. He slowly unlaced my corset. When he had it completely undone, my dress fell to my feet. He growled and I could feel the vibration in his chest. I giggled and that earned me a slap on my ass. “Ow!” I yelled.

  “Shut up, you love it.” He said gruffly.

  Rhett started to take all the pins out of my hair, letting down all the loose curls. Slowly, he took out all of the tiny flowers. It felt so good to have my hair down. The pins were so close to my scalp that I started to get a headache. He combed his fingers through my hair and instantly he had me relaxed. Putty in his hands. Moving my hair over my left shoulder, he placed kisses behind my right ear and down my neck. I got goosebumps and a shiver ran down my spine. He reached his hands around and cupped my breasts. He played with my nipples, causing them to get hard. I felt his smile on my shoulder as he placed a light kiss. I tried turning around to kiss him but he held me firmly in place.

  “Stay still until I say you can turn around, Scarlett.” He demanded.

  I went to protest, but then he shoved a finger in my mouth and told me to suck. I did as he said. He took his knee and used it to spread my legs apart.

  “Bend over. Place your hands on the bed.” I did as I was told.

  He took his finger and slowly inserted it inside me. I moaned which caused him to growl. He stepped closer so he could rub his growing erection against my ass. Slowly he moved his finger in and out. “Baby you’re so wet for me.” He said.
