  Franklin sighed. “I feel so inadequate.”

  “You’ll do fine. I’m leaving a fine team to help you. Listen carefully to them – particularly to Hai Ciera, and Martin Boodles. Daphne and Gerry will keep the business side running smoothly.”

  The two walked back to the terminal, where Frank picked up his travel pack. It was slightly heavier than he planned – Father Riggs had given him a folio volume of the Bible to carry with him. Frank didn’t have the heart to turn him down.

  Frank Nyman and Smith & Jones climbed aboard the shuttle. Frank turned in the doorway for a final view of the Mountains of Montora.
