On a sunny beautiful morning Dimond and Ruby woke up to a beautiful view of butterflies, daffodils and the smell of sweet honeysuckle drifting into their room. They went downstairs and got breakfast ready “can I have oatmeal today” said Ruby, “of course” said Dimond happily humming a cheerful tune “yum, I might have … Special K … owwwww!”, “are you okay?” said Ruby worriedly “I’m fine, just the baby kicking AGAIN” said Dimond, “phew” replied Ruby.

They forgot all about it because they had gone outside and had sooo much fun together like always! They ran around crazily and soon got puffed out and sat beneath the old cherry tree. Smelling sweet honeysuckle here and there. “Today looks like a good day to get nesting” said Ruby, “good idea” exclaimed Dimond softly walking back to the patch of daffodils and lily’s where she was sitting earlier on the day. As the clock went 12 o clock they hurried inside for lunch. “Yum this is good” commented Ruby.

After lunch they rushed outside and danced in the sparkling yellow sun with the green grass gleaming and every flower blooming “we should remember to buy the pregnancy book” said Ruby. So they both went into town and went to the book shop. The two friends got abit hungry so they both went to a café called Blossom Hill. It was a nice sunny place to sit and eat, and it was pretty private as well. They sat down and ate some banana cakes and shared a fizzy apple juice with a pink straw and had a bowl of cherries and apples. They both wore a pair of sunglasses and a sun hat.

They loved to chat to each other and would have so much fun together. Soon after they had finished they skipped home happily chatting away. Dimond and Ruby arrived home safely and put their shopping on the table “phew” Ruby panted softly. The two friends sat down and put the television on “yay” screamed Dimond and Ruby as they put on their favourite program. They both snuggled up together and stared at the TV.

Soon dinner time came. Ruby turned off the TV and they both rushed into the kitchen. They ate dinner and ran upstairs to get dressed and go to bed. They were both so excited they nearly fell over! “The day has gone sooo quickly” yawned Dimond, “yes” replied Ruby. They both hopped into bed and shut their eyes. In no time at all the two friends were fast asleep in cosy beds, all comfy getting ready to start a new day.

They woke up with a sunny breeze drifting softly through their window. Dimond and Ruby woke up got dressed and ran downstairs. As they ate breakfast Dimond said “today or tomorrow shall we climb some trees?” “Good idea!” Ruby screamed happily. They ran outside and leaped and danced in the sunny day, all the flowers had bloomed. Daisies, daffodils, tulips, pansies and water lily’s even because Dimond had a pond. Dimond ran to the nearest tree “come on Ruby lets climb this tree”, Okay” Ruby called from her nest she had started to build. She had even decorated it with blossoms round the top of her nest. She flew to the tree and sat down on the fresh green grass.

Dimond jumped up to the tree and started to climb, then Ruby hopped up. As Dimond reached the top Ruby was still struggling to get up the tall tree. Dimond came to help her feathery friend up “okay Ruby, you can fly up” panted Dimond running up again. She picked a blossom and carefully let it go and it softly floated down until it entered the floor. “This is a lovely view” exclaimed Dimond happily. She was peeling through all the blossoms and glistening leaves. “Wow!” Ruby cried amazed at the beautiful sunny leafy view of the lovely countryside beneath the sparkling sun and the blue sky dazzling with light blue and twinkling in the sun.

They climbed down and ran inside for lunch. Dimond had a tuna fish and corn sandwich and Ruby had a peanut butter and jam sandwich. It was delicious “yum” Dimond said, “yum alright” replied Ruby. They ran upstairs and flopped down on their beds nosily bouncing back up again. The two friends danced in their bedroom with the light of the sun and leaped so high they almost did the splits!

Ruby and Dimond stared through the window as the sun shined brightly and all the flowers and leaves blooming it was such a lovely sight. Everything was cheerful and the birds were singing. As they walked down stairs Dimond heard a loud thump Chestnut was peeping through the top of window! “How did you get all the way up there?!” cried Dimond anxiously and looking very surprised indeed “cat climbing!” Chesnut replied happily humming a tune at the same time, and then he started to grin. Dimond, Ruby and Chesnut all started to laugh and soon couldn’t stop. Chestnut climbed into the house “what are you doing?” Ruby said curiously “coming to see how Dimond is doing” replied Chesnut hopefully, “okay then … you can” Ruby said with a smile on her little face and putting her head to the side and her eyes wide open.

They walked away slowly and Chesnut following behind them. Then suddenly they ran outside and leaped in the air like a firework shooting in the sky. Ruby got a twig in her mouth and flew up to her nest and carefully placed it in her nest. As she saw a lovely pink blossom falling down she swooped down and grabbed it with her beak and flew back to her nest so she could keep her eggs safe. Soon it got dark and they had to go inside for dinner. After they had their dinner they brushed their teeth and went to bed.

In the night Dimond woke up with a start. She woke up Ruby as quick as she could “Ruby look at me” she whispered. They both laughed and laughed because there were seven little kittens sucking on Dimond's nipples “awe” Ruby whispered to Dimond. They turned on the light and Dimond went back to bed. Ruby flew over and stared at the little baby kittens. One was silky white and ginger blobs just like its mother. Every kitten tried to stand up but the harder they tried the more they fell over! Yesterday Ruby brought in her nest in case they hatched bit by bit Ruby’s eggs cracked open.

Two fluffy chicks came into the world of animals and friends. Everyone was so very proud of them especially Dimond and Ruby. The two friends that were mums now got up and b built a little box so they could sleep in it. They ran downstairs with their babies and made their box. After it was done Dimond’s kittens mewed hungrily towards Dimond’s nipples and sucked happily and then fell asleep. The new mums slowly took their babies back to bed and they fell fast asleep as well “good night” Ruby and Dimond whispered and soon fell fast asleep.

The night was starry and dark and endless fun in the night came. Dimond and Ruby couldn’t really sleep very well because they couldn’t stop looking at their babies’ soooo cute and fluffy “it’s just hopeless to stop looking at them” Ruby cried, “I know” Dimond said kissing her babies to sleep and kissed them again.

They woke up with the sun shining bright into their window and a faint rainbow appeared in the dazzling blue sky. Dimond and Ruby stretched and yawned and woke up with the sound of kittens mewing and the sound of crickets too. Shimmering green grass with lovely flowers every colour: red, pink, yellow, blue, green and purple. Dimond and Ruby rushed down stairs with their tiny babies ate and ran upstairs “Tomorrows Easter!” Dimond cried leaping about like man “uh huh!” Ruby screeched in her high voice “Ruby be quiet the babies are still sleeping!” Dimond whispered looking at the babies protectively and her tail up high in the air “sorry” she whispered.

They ran downstairs, again and ran outside into the lovely fresh air sun shining but there was a few black clouds in the distance looking like they were going to rain “please don’t rain” begged Ruby “don’t be silly” Dimond laughed “rain does not speak our language!” exclaimed Dimond. So they went back inside to their family and lied down on the sofa with cuddle soft and fluffy baby balls of fluff and feathers all snuggled up together “awww they’re all friends!” cried Ruby “sooooo cute” Dimond commented adoringly watching them. “Its lunchtime” Ruby said, they took their family into the kitchen and ate quietly. The kittens had fresh milk and the chicks had worm Bolognese and their mums had the same as their children “yum” Ruby said.

After lunch they went upstairs to play with their babies. They flopped onto their beds letting their babies crawl all over them. “Their eyes are still not open!” Dimond said starting to happy cry. They look out of their window and it was starting
to pour with rain. Slowly drop by drop it started to properly rain “oh no!” cried Ruby “who cares” Dimond frowned happily. Soon it got dark and Dimond and Ruby ate dinner, wrote a letter to the Easter bunny, ran upstairs and got dressed. They rushed into bed and shut their eyes quietly and fell fast asleep.

As the sun shone and the grass was swaying softly and they woke up and jumped out of bed and started to hunt for chocolate Easter eggs. Dimond found five and Ruby found four “look Ruby” Dimond screeched with a loud “miow!” “Wow!!” replied Ruby. They ran downstairs sand checked in the cupboards, the lounge “look” said Ruby to Dimond “awesome!” cried Dimond happily. After they finished they ate breakfast “yum” Dimond commented. They rushed outside with their babies; they all opened their eyes to see the world “well done!!!” shouted Dimond jumping about “yay!” Ruby cried amazed. “Look the day has gone sooo quickly because its lunchtime already!”

They ran inside to eat “yummy” Ruby commented. They ran upstairs and flopped on their beds “lets read till dinner” Ruby decided “okay” Dimond replied. They got out a book and read for a long time. A nice warm breeze flew into their window and a blossom flew into the room white and pink, lovely colours. They went outside and walked to the blue bell orchard. When they arrived they could smell lovely blue bells lovely emerald green leaves glistening in the bright yellow sun and the blue sky sparkling beautifully. They went back home and it started to get dark. They ate dinner and went to bed tucking their babies into bed and kissing them goodnight and hopped into bed themselves and peacefully fell asleep in cosy bed and very happy.
