“Sure,” she agreed after a moment, looking at the closed door. She kissed me softly before leaving, and I dropped into my seat, running my hands over my face slowly. I smelled sweet like Elena, and I inhaled her scent as I played back what just happened.
Elena
I walked out to my car under the light of the dim street lamp outside of my apartment. I glanced around, always careful before getting inside and locking the door. I started the car, wondering if I was insane. I was going back to Liam’s house a few days after sleeping with him, pushing my luck. I couldn’t say no and my face heated up as I remembered his powerful kiss when I arrived at his office. A darker part of me wanted him to take me right without delay and give me the feeling that I’d been craving since I left his condo.
Was that why I was going back?
I left the parking lot and stopped automatically by the cookie place for my favorite chocolate chip cookies, blinking as I walked inside. “Elena. Hi!” Lisa called out as she finished putting a few treats into the display. “The usual?”
I didn’t even mean to come here, and I forced a smile on my face. “Yes, but make it a dozen.” I wanted Liam to like them as much as I did, even though I shouldn’t spend so much on them. If he didn’t like them, I could just snack on them for the next few days.
“Hmm. Do you have a lot of studying coming up?” Lisa teased me, a smile on her red lips.
“I am going to a study group, and we might all need some sugar,” I explained as she laughed and bagged the thick, chewy cookies into a pink bag. I paid with a twenty and took the change, shoving it into my pocket as I took the bag. I went back to the car, continuing the drive to his place as I entered the gate code and headed to the back of the complex. I looked around before getting out, pulling my loose hat around my face as I stepped out of the car.
Liam opened his door quickly with a smile as he ushered me in, his hand taking my arm gently. I walked forward, holding the bag as he closed the door and kissed me eagerly. His body pressed against the bag, making it crinkle as he pulled away with an arched eyebrow. “What’s that?”
“I am addicted to Lucy’s Sweetery,” I told him, searching his face for recognition. “I brought dessert.”
Liam reached for the bag and led me to the kitchen, where a pizza sat on the stove. It was cheesy and hot, making my stomach growl. “Perfect. I Just finished dinner. Want some wine?”
It was overwhelming how comfortable I was here even while being so nervous.
“That looks so good. I expected a box pizza,” I said as Liam chuckled.
“I can cook when I am inspired to,” Liam teased as he stepped towards me and stared into my eyes. “No interruptions.” He took my face in his hands and kissed me, at first sweetly, but we both deepened it quickly as I reached for him. We didn’t hold back this time, and he gripped my hips as he pushed me against the counter and devoured me. My tongue met his eagerly, surprising me just like earlier when I lost control in his office for a few moments. The counter was too high to sit on, but I pulled him closer and moaned against him. He pulled away reluctantly and sighed slowly. “Want to eat? I am going to take you on my table if we keep this up.” He laughed weakly, and I smiled as I stepped back.
Liam strode across the kitchen and grabbed something to cut the pizza into slices, grabbing two plates. He loaded them up, and I got his beer and took the glass that he offered me for the wine. I pulled out the bottle from the last time and filled it before we sat at his little bistro table by the kitchen window and ate.
We talked about the last few days as we ate the food, sipping our drinks as she shared long looks. I felt like a teenager on my first date as I smiled so much that my face hurt. After dinner, he dumped the plates into the sink and led me into the living room, pulling me on the couch as I gripped my wine. I looked around, taking in the fire, and show on television before looking at Liam. “Thanks for the pizza.”
“It was nothing,” Liam leaned in to kiss me again as the glass was pulled from my hand and his tongue slipped between my lips. I gave into the embrace, pulling against him as I let our mouths move together, feeling the heat wash over my body. I didn’t know how much time passed before he was pushing me back, kissing me and moving between my thighs as I moaned. My black leggings felt thin as I rocked up against his jeans, finding the hard ridge of his denim a welcome relief for the growing desire in my body.
Liam groaned as he met me thrust for thrust, pulling back to watch me as I started to whimper. I reached for him as I felt his hands on my waist, asking if he could take off my pants. I nodded, and the air hit my skin as his hands ran over me, baring me to him as I shivered. I felt him push up my t-shirt and his lips moved to kiss my stomach as I cried out, knowing what he was going to do next.
His mouth was against my warm center, tongue licking and lips sucking as I gripped his hair. “Oh, God.” Liam knew what he was doing, and I settled back as I went along for the ride that he was promising to give me. I tried to hold out as long as I could before I screamed and jerked against him. God, the way his mouth locked onto me to get every drop was so hot, and I closed my eyes as my release continued to pulse through me.
He rested his head on my stomach for a moment, breathing in gently as I looked down at him. “You taste so sweet,” Liam told me as I blushed. “It’s like honey tasting you come like that.”
“Really? I always thought that it would be gross,” I told him as he laughed against my skin.
“Not you.”
We stayed there, lazily talking and watching the movie on the TV as the fire crackled. After a little while, Liam went to get himself another beer and refill my wine, coming back with the cookies in the bag. “These smell good. Want to eat them naked on my bed?” His smile was lascivious, and I giggled as I sat up to sip the wine.
“Sure,” I agreed as I stood and made my way into the dark hallway. We went to his room where he lit a fire and dropped the bag on the bed before stripping his shirt off, making me forget how to breathe for a second. I realized that I was naked and bit my lip as I tugged my shirt down, trying to cover myself futilely. I smiled as he took the glass from my hand and set it down on the table beside the bed along with his beer.
“Stop that,” he told me as he leaned in and kissed me, my taste still on his lips. I was fascinated with it, finding it a bit sweet and salty as he groaned. “Fuck, you tasting yourself is…” Liam shook his head and kissed me again as I reached around his neck.
We ended up in bed, his chest pressing against my shirt while his jeans covered my still needy pussy. I knew that Liam was ready for more, but he kept the kisses long and deep as he relaxed against my body.
“Do you think that she knew today?” I asked as he looked blankly at me. “Sarah.”
“No, probably not. She’s used to students, and she was just there to get the tests to review them,” Liam explained as I blushed. “I will make one thing clear, Elena. This thing with us has nothing to do with that, nothing at all. I like you, and you’ll do fine in the class without any extra help.”
“I agree,” I said as he kissed my stomach again. “I would never ask that of you.”
“Good. That is the one fucking reason that people would frown on this and it has nothing to do with it.” He reminded me just where I was and who I was with as I closed my eyes. “Elena, I didn’t mean…”
“It’s fine, Liam. I am a big girl, and I know how bad this would look,” I told him as I looked at him. “I just can’t stay away from you.”
“I can’t stay away from you, either.” He grinned and reached for the cookies, breaking a piece off and feeding it to me before popping a piece into his mouth. “These are so good.”
“My favorite. I have a bunch, and they’re big, so keep some here with you,” I offered as Liam kissed me.
We had finished a couple of the cookies before he kissed me again, rolling me over him once we were naked. “Will you ride me?” Liam asked me as my eyes widened. I’d never done that. He reach
ed for a condom, and I sat back as I watched him roll it on himself before he licked his lips and stare at me.
“I can try,” I promised him as I lifted my hips and looked down to position myself. Liam was holding himself, and I lowered my body onto him as I moaned. I could feel him inside of me, feel him everywhere as he filled me. Liam groaned, and I looked at him, seeing the pleasure on his face. I felt the girl in me disappearing with each movement, giving into the sensual woman that I never knew I was. We started to rock together once he sensed that I was used to him and the sound of our bodies made me cry out as he buried his cock in me. I came, soaking him with my release as I gripped him and felt him pull back and move up hard as he shot inside of the latex. His hands gripped my hips hard, making me sure there would be bruises but I didn’t care. I wanted him again as I sucked in my breath and draped my sweaty body over him. Liam stroked my back gently, still inside of me as I relaxed against him, unsure of what I would do without him at this point.
The idea scared me. We were teacher and student, and this was so, so wrong, but it felt right. He rolled me over gently before standing to go to the attached bathroom while I let my eyes close. I was tired, sated and I didn’t want to leave this bed or his side. I felt Liam come back to the bed and pull me against him, kissing my hair. “You felt incredible, Elena.” I murmured something in return and felt his lips on my shoulder. “I am going to hold you while you sleep tonight. What time is your class tomorrow?”
“Eight,” I told him as I felt myself drifting off.
“I’ll set the alarm for before that so you can get out of here before too many people are out and about, okay?” His question reminded me of what we were doing all over again, and ice washed through my veins. He did something on the table beside the bed as I froze.
“Do you want me to leave?” I asked as he pulled me against his naked body, seeming to want to comfort me.
“No, Elena. Not at all, but this is what it is.” I remained quiet as he held me, my hands pressed against his chest as I pretended to sleep. I felt his breath even out after a while and assumed that he was sleeping before I let a tear slide down my cheek. I was so foolish for being here and letting my feelings for him continue and grow. I was going to get hurt at the end, and I tried to tell myself that he wasn’t worth the pain.
I fell asleep a couple of hours later, exhausted from the inner turmoil in my head. The room was comfortable, and I felt like I was sinking into the mattress, but his touch and scent kept me awake for a while.
Liam
I heard the alarm chime when the room was still dark, reaching over to silence it before the arm body pressed closer to me. I stopped, thinking for a moment before I remembered last night. Sleeping over was not something that happened in my world, not at my place or anybody else’s. I liked the feeling of Elena beside me as emotion tore through me, knowing what we were and how much that would prevent me from being able to fall for her.
Was I already?
She was beautiful, sweet and innocent in ways that I hadn’t seen in a woman for a long time. Elena was irresistible. I knew that I couldn’t resist her with every day that I saw her and running into her at the coffee shop seemed like fate to me. It was fate, or it was the end of me, and I sagged against my pillow again. I knew that she had to leave when it was still dark out, as much as I hated the idea. Elena could not be seen here, and since I kept to myself and didn’t know many of my neighbors, I had to stick to the rules that I was slowly making in my head. Anything to keep her around a little longer. When the alarm went off again, I rolled over and shook her awake gently as she murmured in her sleep. “Baby,” I whispered as I felt her tense beside me. I hated waking her up, wanting to stay in bed and feel myself inside of her again before making breakfast and drinking coffee as I took in her sleepy morning eyes. I knew that she looked beautiful just from seeing her here in my arms but today wasn’t the day for us to do any of what I wanted. “Elena, you have a class today.” She moved and got up to use the bathroom before dressing and getting ready to leave. I walked her out to her car since it was still so dark, kissing her gently before I saw her start the engine with a reminder to text me when she arrived home. I knew her address so I could check her path home in case I didn’t hear from her, and I watched her leave with a frown. I hated sending her away, and that was so unnatural for me. I normally didn’t think twice about it with a woman.
I went back inside to wait for her text, sitting in bed and feeling the emptiness of it. We did find a few moments to be together, but it was too hasty to be actually enjoyed. I sighed and thought about making some coffee as my phone chimed, checking it to make sure that Elena was home safely. I felt the relief wash through me and stood to start brewing the coffee since I was certain that I wouldn’t be going back to sleep this morning. I didn’t have a class to teach, but there were some lesson plans to work on. I fixed some eggs and toast to eat while I watched the sun come up through my back window. I worked on some upcoming lesson plans, spoke to my sister on the phone as we planned our weekly dinner for that night and fell asleep in front of the television watching a movie.
I didn’t contact Elena for the remainder of the day. I knew that I was seeing Marie and I focused on getting some dessert to have after she cooked her amazing Chicken Alfredo. She was all smiles when she opened the door and hugged me, inviting me inside. I still saw Mom here, and my sister hadn’t changed too much since moving in, making me feel a little sad inside. I sat at the counter on a barstool sipping a beer as she cooked and we caught up a bit. Marie was a writer for the local paper as well as a few other things and I wondered for a moment if she could help Elena out with a job before I pushed the idea back. I didn’t want to admit to my sister that I was doing the unthinkable by sleeping with a student.
We ate dinner at the table as we kept talking about our jobs, what we’d been up to and how much we missed Mom. Marie glanced at me a few times and her features so much like my own scrunched up. “Liam, what’s going on? I know that you’re here, and we’re talking, but I’ve watched you drift off several times tonight.”
“Just school stuff. It’s been an adjustment getting back into it,” I brushed her concern off as Marie tilted her head questioningly. Marie sipped her beer and narrowed her scrutinizing eyes at me.
“Are you certain? It looks like there’s something more going on to me. Are you seeing someone?” Marie pressed as I slowly took a long sip from my bottle.
“You know my version of seeing women, Mar.” I said casually as she rolled her eyes.
“Yes, I do. You like being a man whore,” she shot back as I pressed a hand to my heart and feigned being hurt. “You know that I’m right.”
“I am not a man whore. I just don’t want anything serious,” I defended myself as she shook her head. “You sound like Mom when she used to tell me to get married and have a family after I got into college. Remember that?”
“I do.” Marie was six years younger than I was and had been married once for a year. Once she discovered him cheating, she left, and I knew that she had a hard time trusting anybody now. I also knew that Marie wanted kids, more than I did. It made me hope that she would find someone wonderful in her life that could give her that dream. “Someone has to keep that tradition going, don’t they?”
“Yeah, that will be you. I don’t think I am cut out for life with kids and I’m old,” I tried to joke as she looked at me. This was one of the moments that Mom’s presence was thick in the air of this house. I hated them and welcomed them with everything inside of my cold heart as I smiled at Marie. We both felt it.
We made coffee and cut slices of Marie’s favorite chocolate cake from a nearby bakery. Marie was excited about her newest clients this week, a new family that wanted outdoor pictures taken when the sun was out. She worked a few part-time jobs that seemed to turn into far more than full-time employment, but she was happy using her creativity and getting paid for it. Marie was always the daydreamer in the family, while I worked wit
h numbers. I heard that came from Dad, but since he left when I was seven and Marie was just a baby I didn’t remember that too well. I only felt the pain of his leaving us and making my mom work so hard to keep our little family going.
Marie and I cleaned up before I went home to get ready for the following day. I walked into my condo with a generous amount of leftovers and popped it into my fridge, and I thought about Elena. She’d love the dinner and dessert, which meant that I could devour my second treat for the night. I was just picking up my phone when a text came through, and I tilted my head as I read it. Elena was thinking about me, and it wasn’t long before she was coming over to spend what she could of this night with me.
I changed into some pajama bottoms and a t-shirt before answering the light knock on the door. It was my sister, and I frowned at her as she ruefully handed me my wallet. “I thought that you might need this.”
“Thanks, Marie,” I replied with a forced smile, knowing that Elena was going to be coming over soon. I forgot that I’d taken it out of my pocket when we ate dinner.
“I have to go. I have to get everything set up for tomorrow!” She kissed my cheek and rushed off as I watched, shaking my head. My sister was a dork, but I loved her. I watched as someone slowly stepped forward and took in the look on Elena’s face.
“Did I interrupt something?” Her voice was soft, and I held out my hand, knowing what she thought was happening in this moment. “I assumed you were alone.”
