WAITING FOR OCTOBER
Worlds Apart, But Our Hearts Very Near.
All Of My Love From Way Over Here.
I Think Of You Always, Asleep Or Awake, And
That I’ll Be Home Soon, And The Love We Will Make.
It Will Be Like The Times When Our Love Was New.
Never A Day Goes By That I Don’t Think Of You.
Gone From You Now In A Land By The Sea, I’m
Forever Yours No Matter Where I May Be.
One Day Soon I’ll Walk Through Our Door,
Reaching Your Arms, We’ll Be Together Once More.
Only Six Months More And I’m
Coming Home
To Be By Your Side, So You Won’t Be Alone.
Once I’m Home And Look In Your Eyes, We’ll
Be Much Happier Then When We Said Our Good-bye’s
Echoes Of Your Laughter Stay With Me Still,
Remember I Love You And I Always Will.

Bad Poetry Gone Wild
I was very poor when I was a lad.
Dirt and water was all I had.
I made mud pies daily on a trailer hitch.
I sold them to "city slickers" and now I'm rich!
********************************************
Funny hair and funny clothes.
Their pants are falling down
You're not at the circus looking at clowns.
It's just the kids in the neighborhood
********************************************
See the doggy lift his leg.
See the kitty squat.
They both have one thing in common.
They cannot use the pot.
********************************************
I'd like to fly with the birds
and soar both wide and far.
But I would stop along the way
to poop on someone's car.
********************************************
Off behind the barn I go.
To see the drift of fallen snow.
I write my name in it for all to see.
I write my name using.....
...A stick.
*******************************************
I stuck my finger up my nose.
Where it goes,
Nobody knows.
...I pulled it out and what a mess
It was a booger, I must confess.
