  Born in London on a snowy winter’s night, Alison Ashley spent her childhood and young adult life in England before moving to rural Australia. It was her passion for books that led her to become an author, but it was her curiosity as to how she was still experiencing déjà vu in a new country that sparked the idea for Phoenix.
