He cupped her behind pulling her up even more, now moving quicker, keeping his eyes on her breasts as they moved about every time he entered her. It was so erotic that he was now finding it hard to hold off and started moving quicker, harder.

One of his hands moved round from her ass, starting to slowly rub in circles around her sensitive area and she did that little mewling sound she always did – he felt her rising and he rose with her.

More of her sounds escaped her throat and it threw him over the edge, hard, and his seed erupted forcefully inside her. He moved his fingers faster and a few seconds later she joined him, biting down on her bottom lip to stop from screaming his name.

He stayed where he was, inside his mate, looking at her body, slick with sweat. He didn't want to move, ever.

After a few minutes Alex mumbled, “My arms are sore.” and he moved quickly to release her – pulling the towel from her eyes at the same time.

Alex blinked a few times and smiled up at her Vampire, “Okay – that ones a keeper for the box!” she quipped and Zach just pulled her closer.

  “Indeed!” he laughed.

  Chapter 7

Alex and Zach stayed in their room, not wanting to leave, even for food or conversation. They wanted to be alone and so they stayed where they were.

Soon, too soon, they had no option but to get up and make their way back down to the kitchen. Trying to be as quiet as possible in order not to wake up Xander.

Both were surprised to see Margaret up and cooking. Once more Alex had a bread roll on square sausage and tattie scone, she just couldn't resist. Zach just looked at it and shook his head to which Duncan chuckled.

Everyone was now in the kitchen waiting on the twins, even Simeon and Sam had came over, tho Sam was in Simeon's lap and refused to move.

The twins appeared and Margaret gasped – not used to people just appearing and disappearing in front of her.

Lexi motioned to her mother, “Mum – can I talk to you in private please? Dad, you come too.” and Alex stood up and followed Lexi out of the kitchen and into the front lounge area – where Vlad had spent the night.

When Zach was in the room Lexi closed the door and she looked anxious. “What's wrong?” Alex asked and Lexi paced back and forth – which made both of her parents worry even more.

“Okay, now I'm just going to come out with this so let me speak. After that fiasco in Italy and then yesterday I've been going out of my mind with worry – mum you have been in real danger twice with no way to get out of it and it makes me feel sick. I want to try something – I don't know if it will work or even if I should do it but I am going to try okay?” and Lexi stopped pacing and looked at her mother.

Alex nodded her head, “Okay but what is it you want to do?” she asked her daughter who had started pacing again.

“Come here mum.” Alex walked over and Lexi took hold of her, pulling her in for a quick cuddle before moving back again. Her hands were on each side of Alex and she wondered what her daughter was going to do.

“Lexi – are you sure about whatever it is you're thinking?” Zach asked and Lexi shook her head.

“No dad but I'm going to try. I have to. I have to give mum some extra way of getting out of danger and this is the only thing I can think of.” she said and Zach wondered what she was talking about.

Lexi kept hold of Alex and she closed her eyes and frowned, Alex felt something come from Lexi's hands and deep into her body. It didn't hurt and wasn't unpleasant but she definitely felt something. Lexi let out a deep breath and pulled away, “Shit I hope it's worked.” she said and Alex frowned.

“Just what did you do?” Alex asked.

Lexi looked a little guilty, “I kinda tried to give you a power mum, the one to Move, so that you can get away if you're ever in danger again.” Lexi finished.

Zach moved forward, grabbing his daughter, “Lexi, can you do that? Or more importantly are you allowed to do that?” he asked and the look on Lexi's face told both of her parents the answer.

“I don't care if I get into trouble, mum needs to be able to Move, we all can so she should be able to do it too, dad!” Lexi's voice was a whine – and a plea – and Zach didn't know what to think.

Alex just stood watching her daughter and her mate, did she just say she gave me the power to move? Alex's mind started to think on the words that her daughter had said and she was pleased and upset all at once.

Pleased if it had worked but upset in case Lexi got into any kind of trouble.

Zach turned and looked at Alex, “Do you feel any different?” he asked.

She frowned and tried to figure out if she did, “Kind of, I definitely felt something happen when Lexi was holding me but I don't know how to Move. Zach how do you do it?”

Lexi stepped forward, “Mum just concentrate, think on where you are and where you want to be and it should just happen,” and then Lexi stepped back, watching and waiting, hoping it had worked.

Alex thought on where she was, in the lounge and where everyone else was, in the kitchen and suddenly she Moved. She appeared in the kitchen to gasps and shouts of surprise.

Vlad jumped up, “What the fuck Alex – how did you do that?” and Alex just looked around and then Moved back to the lounge.

Conall ran through, “So it worked then?” he said and Alex was smiling.

“Wow, that felt, weird, strange, but good and I don't feel sick!” Lexi grabbed her in a tight hug.

“You won't feel sick and anyone you Move won't either.” Lexi beamed at her mother.

Zach was dumbstruck, he had always thought that the older Alex got that she would be able to do what he could, she was very powerful. Now though she could do it far sooner than either of them had ever thought possible.

They walked back through to the kitchen and everyone was talking at once. When Alex sat down there was silence and all eyes were on her.

Alex opened her mouth to tell them what had happened and suddenly the Angel, Michael was standing there, a very grim look on his face and his wings were doing that fluttering thing they did. The one that always made Alex think he was angry.

“Just what did you do?!” he spoke towards Lexi who cringed down in her chair. She looked at Michael and couldn't speak. “Lexi I asked, what did you do!” and his voice had risen, anger now evident.

Alex stood up - “Don't shout at her Michael and please don't get upset, she did what she thought she should. After the last week she was worried, rightly so, and she has only tried to help.” Alex managed to finish even though Michael's eyes were now boring into hers, making her look down.

Margaret was crossing herself in front and holding tight onto a cross around her neck. Scott was staring wide eyed, although he had seen Michael before he had not seen him like this – angry at one of them.

Duncan had stood up and realised that this Angel made even him look small. The rest were all openly staring and wondering what was happening.

Lexi slowly got up and moved around the table to stand in front of the huge Angel. One of her hands snaked out and grabbed one of his, “I'm sorry – I had to protect my mum, she nearly died in Italy and yesterday too, if you need to take me upstairs for punishment then so be it.”

As Lexi finished Alex's eyes had dropped to the entwined hands and noticed Michael's thumb circling her daughter's hand. It was something her and Zach did – not something friends would do. No, it was much more intimate than that. Alex's eyes flew to Zach's and he was staring also at the hands and looked at her – a deep frown on his face.

Conall jumped up, “Well you better take me too 'cause I knew and was going to try it myself but Lexi's stronger in that power so we decided she would be the best one to try.”

Michael raised his eyes to Conall's and he took a step back, shit, Michael was really angry.

“You know you shouldn't have done that Lexi – what am I going to do with you? So like your mother, always pushing the boundaries, always so feisty. I think I'm going to have to tak
e you under a tighter rein little angel.” Michael finished and everyone in the room could plainly see that Michael felt more for the girl than a guardian.

It was also plain to see that the girl returned the feelings, she was looking up at him from underneath her lashes and she had a slight smile on her lips. Lips that she took that moment to lick with her tongue.

Michael made a sound like a growl, let Lexi's hand go and disappeared.

Lexi turned round and saw everyone looking at her and her face went bright red. She made her way back to her chair and sat down.

Alex pushed a thought to Zach – 'we need to talk to her about this' and Zach pushed back 'Indeed' but the tone was one of anger and upset. She was always amazed at how many different feelings he could portray with that one word...indeed.

James coughed and it seemed to break the strange moment in the kitchen and Duncan started talking again, “So ah'm goin today but Scott isnae fightin fit yet so he's stayin put here. William oh course will be comin an you lot. Ah dinnae want tae put any mare oh ma Wolves in danger, I hope ye can understan that?” the large Alpha would not normally have left the load of such a mission so heavily on others' shoulders. He didn't think he had any other choice – he had lost three Wolves already and didn't want any more to die unnecessarily.

Zach knew how Duncan must be feeling, “I'm sure we'll be fine, though if you're not a hundred percent we would be fine with just William.”

Duncan snorted loudly, “Nae laddie, ah'm comin – nae doubt aboot that.” and he took a huge bite of a very large roll, full of sausage, egg and tattie scone.

Lexi picked her head up, “I'm going to go over some stuff with William, I can sense he is very strong in magic so I'm hoping some of my spells will be easy enough for him to do, but I can't be certain.”

William stood up, “Okay, we'll go somewhere quiet and see how things go.” turning he walked out – Lexi on his heels.

“Once that's done we'll get moving, we won't use the vehicles, Alex and I can Move and Lexi and Conall can bring the rest of you. Lisa, I would like you to come but only so that you can help with any of the young Jaguar's that we will hopefully find. You are to stay way back, you are not to engage in any fighting, understood?” Zach's tone was firm and he saw James stiffening as Lisa nodded.

“James I know you don't want Lisa in danger and I don't either, that's why she will stay well back, when and only when the beasts have been taken care of will we phone and get her to join us.” Zach's words were directed to James who still looked unhappy but couldn't think of a valid reason to leave his mate behind – not with the way Zach had put it across.

“Fine, but if there's any danger at all she stays back, doesn't join us, okay?” James queried and Zach said “Absolutely,” James seemed to relax – not a lot – but a little.

“I'm coming.” a soft voice spoke and everyone looked to Samantha, still on Simeon's lap, her face serious.

“No!” Simeon growled and tightened his arms around his little Jaguar.

“Yes! I am going with you, my sister is one of the ones that were taken and you saw how fast I am. I'm going Simeon, please don't get angry, but nothing will stop me!” Samantha finished while staring up into the huge Guard's eyes and her hand was softly on the side of his face.

Simeon looked to Zach hoping for him to back him up, after all it was Zach that was in charge.

Zach looked between the Vampire and Jaguar, knowing that the impulsive female would get there – whether with them or without them. “Simeon, trust me when I say I know how you feel but sometimes we've just got to suck it up, I can see no reason to stop Sam from coming. She can stay back at first with Lisa, we will keep them both safe. She will be able to help when we find the other Jaguars, they will know her, they may be scared of all us Vampires!” Zach finished and raised an eyebrow – to which Simeon only snarled again and looked away, the decision made.

William and Lexi came back in, “Dad, William told me about when you went to the cave for mum to do the ritual. He said that Bri and her sister placed spells on your weapons and that they worked against the demons?”

Zach remembered, the spells had worked well, “Yes they did, why, what've you got in mind?”

“Well I was thinking I could do the same, my magic is a special kind of magic. It's not the same as the Witches here so it may help against the beasts. They are basically made from Fallen magic so my magic may be able to hurt them. So if you get out your weapons I'll do what I can.” Lexi was quite excited, it sounded a good idea and she was hoping that it would work.

Everyone started moving, weapons appearing on the large kitchen table. Mostly blades and swords and Lexi took each one and started to chant. There were slivers of blue light passing from her hands and seemed to infiltrate deep inside the metals that she held. A soft blue hue remained on the weapons and they looked more than a bit strange.

Once she was done everyone took their own weapons back and started to get ready.

Every last one of them looked deadly and Alex once more looked at her Vampire. Strong, handsome and deadly, a cold, hard look on his features.

Alex looked around seing Vlad looking totally relaxed but both Simeon and James looking more than a little troubled. Obviously worried about their mates. Duncan looked, if not relaxed, not quite as worried as he had been when they first arrived but William looked more than worried. He looked downright scared.

Conall was standing quietly and moved over to be next to William. He placed a hand on his shoulder “You'll be fine William.” he said quietly and obviously passed some calmness through his touch as she saw the young man's body visibly relaxing.

Alex was proud, her son had obviously seen the fear in William and had done his best to help him.

Margaret grabbed Duncan and the huge Alpha picked her up and kissed her passionately. “You take care my Wolf.” Margaret managed to get out.

Duncan smiled down at her. “Ah will ma Wolf. Get some mare scones in the oven, ah'm sure ah'll be wantin some when we git back.” and Margaret tried to smile – failed – worry etched on her face.

Scott got up and moving towards Margaret he gently pulled her away. His arms going around her to comfort the Alpha's mate. It was plain to see that Margaret was trying desperately not to cry and Alex felt for her.

The last time her mate had gone to where they were all going he came home with three dead Wolves and badly injured.

“Okay so Lexi, we'll go to that area that you found us in yesterday, then we'll make our way on.” Zach said and Lexi nodded, “No problem.”

“Right you guys gather round.” Conall told them and then everyone but Scott and Margaret disappeared.

Margaret let out a small sob, terrified for her Alpha.

  Chapter 8

They appeared right where Lexi and Conall had rescued them from the day before and Alex was astounded that she could now Move. She looked about and double checked everyone was there – they were and Lexi was talking to Conall.

“You guys stay here, we're going to scope the way ahead, we won't be long.” Conall said and then both he and his sister took to the air. Flying straight up and then forward.

  Duncan cursed, “Fuck me!”

Zach laughed, “Yea I know, amazing, aren't they!” Duncan didn't answer, only staring at the two bodies now getting smaller by the second as they flew very fast away from them.

“Lisa, Sam, you both stay here....” Zach started.

Sam growled, “No! I stay with my mate!” she spoke but her words were interspersed by snarls and it was quite hard to understand.

Simeon was snarling too, down at Sam, “Princess – do as you are told!” and the voice was hard, strong and Sam lowered her head in a submissive posture, the Alpha tone of Simeon's voice strong to her ears.

“Simeon! I have to come with you!” Sam was now near tears.

“NO!” he shouted and Lisa stepped forward and took hold of the young Jaguar.

  “Samantha, we'll join them soo
n, don't worry.” Lisa was speaking calmly, hoping that it would help the young female.

The strange golden eyes of the girl turned to hers, “But he's my mate!” the girl moaned, as if in pain.

Duncan moved over and Simeon snarled at him but Duncan didn't back down, - “Noo listen here Vampire she's ma niece, ah'm nae threat tae yer mating so jest stop that snarling!”

  Simeon moved back, slightly.

“Samantha – listen tae me!” Duncan spoke loudly and a bit harshly, in Lisa's opinion. “Ye'll stay here wae Lisa – an when it's safe ye'll come – so stop all this nonsense noo girl!” and the young Jaguar lowered her head and eyes – a sure sign she was submitting to this Alpha.

“Gid, noo nae mair oh that – okay?” Duncan asked and Samantha nodded, once, before a few tears escaped her eyes.

Simeon moved to her immediately and lifted her head up with a finger under her chin, “We won't be apart long my princess.” he spoke softly, love clear in his tone.

“Shit!” Vlad cursed, “Simeon – I'm telling you now you are coming back with us when we leave! I'm not losing another Second in Command!”

Simeon nodded slowly, “I know Vlad, Samantha will be coming back with us.” the Vampire said and the young female looked between Vlad and Simeon, looking scared.

“It's okay Sam, we've got a nice place for you to stay, you and Simeon will have your own place and I'll help you. I'll get you used to everything and before you know it you'll be all settled.” Lisa's voice was cajoling as she tried to allay the fear that was clear in the girl.

Alex had been watching all this and keeping an eye out for her twins too. “Yes Sam, I went with Zach to live there and it's really nice. I'll help you too, I'm sure you'll love it. There's even lots of woods around so you can change and run wild. Please don't worry.” Alex also tried to help the young girl.
