Startled, he got up, just to see her whole body burst into flames and rise from the bed, her legs and arm wide open, before she started to swirl, slow at first but quickly gaining speed until he couldn’t see anything more than a swirling mass.
He couldn't believe his eyes and he was cursing his brother for not having explained that part in detail. He had no idea what was going on, but he was starting to think he had done something wrong.
A few minutes later, minutes that felt like centuries, she finally stopped swirling and her body fell gently to the bed, wrapping itself in a leathery cocoon.
He approached the bed carefully, not sure what to expect when her new wings opened up and revealed a new converted Rosalind.
He jumped in bed and hugged her.
“What… what happened?” she asked, feeling a bit confused.
“You were converted,” he explained, cradling her face to take a good look at her. She was still his válkana, but now she was also a drogon.
“Did you know this would happen?” she asked him with a frown.
“Of course not… I was sure the blood had to be taken from your left breast for it to work,” he replied, revealing just how worried he had been.
“So… I’m a drogon now?” she asked, not sure how she felt.
“Yes, you are.”
She freed herself from his embrace and hopped out of bed to look at herself in the mirror.
And there it was: the ridges on the forehead and temples, the scales down her neck and along her shoulders, her dark claws, the wings on her back… it was all there.
“I guess I’m a drogon now,” she said in a low tone.
He walked to meet her and stood right next to her. “My drogon,” he stated, in a possessive tone.
She chuckled. “You’ll have to show me how to fly and convert.”
He took her hand and kissed it gently. “Nothing will make me happier.”
She sighed. “How do I make the wings disappear?” she asked, looking at them, spread on her back.
“Just order your brain to take them away.”
“Just like that?”
“Yes, just like that.” He smiled at her watching her frown and withdraw her wings.
“I believe I’m going to love this.” She chuckled, as she turned to him and hugged him.
“I’m glad… because there’s no way back,” he teased her.
She rubbed her cheek against his chest. “I guess we’ve missed dinner.”
He laughed. “Are you hungry?”
“Famish. I feel as if I hadn’t eaten in a year,” she confessed.
Her tunic had been destroyed during the conversion, so he handed her a new one and a few moments later they were ordering food from the palace’s kitchen.
“We have additional information to add to the conversion’s manual,” Haakon said, scowling, while they were enjoying their meal.
She chuckled. “Perhaps after a couple more of us have been converted, we’ll have the whole process documented.”
“I truly hope so. It feels terrible to watch your soulmate burst into flames in front of you,” he replied.
“That’s what happened?” she asked, surprised. “I don’t remember much after I told you I wasn’t feeling right.”
“Yes… that small detail wasn’t in the report I read, or I guess I would have never put you through it,” he admitted, shuddering.
“Nothing bad happened and that’s the only thing that matters.”
“I know, but it was a devastating experience, believe me,” he said.
“I guess I had to be reborn from the fire to become one of you,” she said, caressing his hands.
“Yes, I think so too, but it’s not an easy experience, believe me.”
She kissed him, trying to make his bad memories to go away. “Don’t you think it was worth it?” she asked him in a soft tone.
“Yes, of course, there is no doubt in my mind about that,” he assured her.
“Then let’s focus on that, please,” she asked him. “And you should leave out of the information you’ll be adding to the manual the bursting into flames part. Men might doubt if faced with that possibility.”
“Don’t you think they have the right to know?” he asked, frowning.
“Would you have gone through with it, had you known?” she asked him.
“No… I wouldn’t.”
“It’s a necessary evil, but if you tell the others, you’ll only add more stress to an already hard decision to make,” she explained her point of view.
“Yes, I think you’re right.” He nodded. “I’ll just add the necessary parts.”
She kissed him, pleased.
Chapter 4
They went back home as soon as Brynjar returned to the palace, eager to enjoy the fresh air of the mountains.
They only returned to the palace for the Announcement of the mating and the previous dinner hosted by Asgar’s mother.
Those were moments of sheer happiness and Rosalind was happier than she ever thought possible. Everybody was excited with the queen’s pregnancy and all the women mated were working hard to be in the same position soon.
Two days after the mating ceremony, they were getting ready to go back home when Rosalind passed out. Haakon barely had time to catch her before she hit the floor.
He immediately called Colborn and the doctor rushed to the hospital, carrying his portable scanner.
“What happened?” he asked, while he set up the scanner.
Rosalind had regained consciousness a few moments ago and she wasn’t pleased with all the fuss Haakon was making for something so insignificant.
“She passed out,” he informed the doctor, ignoring his válkana’s frown.
“Let’s see… had you had breakfast?” he asked, while the scanner did its job.
“Yes, of course. I have been eating more than ever, so I can assure you, that wasn’t the reason,” she ranted.
The doctor smiled as he nodded. “No, I’m sure it wasn’t.” His smile became wider as he amplified an image on the scanner.
Rosalind let out a small cry when she looked at the image. “Is that… is that…?” she tried to utter the words, but couldn’t.
“Yes… it is,” Colborn confirmed.
“What’s going on?” Haakon asked, upset.
“Congratulations, you’re going to be a father,” the doctor announced.
Haakon turned to look at Rosalind seeking for confirmation, but the look on her face was enough confirmation. They were having a baby.
He took her in his arms and hugged her so tight he could feel her heart beating against his.
“I know you guys want to go up to the mountains, but I would appreciate if you would bring her here at least twice a month. We have no idea how long these pregnancies will last, at least not until Eleanor’s baby is born, so we need to follow it up closely,” he explained.
“I’ll bring her every time it’s needed, don’t worry,” Haakon assured him.
“Perfect. I’ll give you a list of special vitamins and food you’ll have to eat during the pregnancy to make sure the baby gets all the nutrients it needs.”
“Thank you.”
The doctor finally left them alone and Rosalind rushed into Haakon’s arms. “Is this really happening?”
“I know it must be overwhelming for you, with all the changes in your life. The truth is I didn’t even consider the possibility.”
“Me neither, even though we’ve never been careful.”
“We’re only fertile when we’re on our drogon form,” he explained, scowling.
"You mean when your second cock comes out to play,” she said, amused.
He chuckled. “Yes, the second cock is the bearer of our seed.”
“Are you happy with the news?” she asked him with a soft tone.
“Yes, yes… I couldn’t be happier. We’re starting a new family together and that’s amazing.”
“I’m happy too. I never thought of myself as a
mother, probably because mine was a terrible example, but I’ll do my best to be a real mother to our children.”
“Raising them is a job for both of us and I’m eager to start.”
She nodded and rested her forehead on his chest. It was amazing how her life had changed and how happy she was.
Four months later, Haakon and Rosalind’s baby girl was born, up in the mountains, in the middle of a snow storm, before their parents could get to the hospital.
The people of Zuvrak were delighted with the birth of the new princesses and their hope for the future had increased to astounding levels.
The five hundred women brought from Earth had all been mated, and they were considering bringing a new group.
Fate was starting to smile on the drogon people.
Asgar & Sasha
Chapter 1
The days after Asgar revealed to her he was her soulmate were totally chaotic. First, Eleanor had been kidnapped and tortured by Eskol and finding her, had consumed all their energy and attention.
Despite their advanced technology, the drogons relied way too much on their strength and powerful bodies, to keep their enemies away they had relaxed the planet’s security. Though they evidently met all kinds of vicious enemies each time they went out to fight other people’s wars, their own citizens were probably one of the most peaceful of the universe. They were unable to lie, so the crime levels were close to none. Having Eleanor kidnapped from the palace’s gardens had crumbled their sense of security to the ground.
Asgar had been working hard to make sure that didn’t happen again and he wasn’t able to be with Sasha as much as he wanted to.
"You need to get some rest,” she protested one night when he arrived way past midnight. She had been waiting for him in the living room and when she heard his vehicle pull up and park in front of the main door she went to meet him.
“Not really. Our bodies don’t need much to recover energies,” he replied, pulling her into his arms and burying his face in the crook of her neck for a few moments.
“Perhaps physically that’s true, but emotionally I doubt it,” she insisted. “It wasn’t your fault Eskol managed to slip onto the planet.”
“The planet’s security is my job,” he pointed out.
“But Eskol had far more advanced technology than you do. How were you supposed to know your shields wouldn’t detect his undetectable vessel?” she asked him, trying to get some sense into his stubborn head.
“We’ve neglected our security systems and that was a huge mistake.”
“I understand how you feel, I really do, but killing yourself in the process of restoring that won’t do any good,” she stated.
He kissed her passionately. “You won’t get rid of me that easily, believe me.”
She slapped him on the shoulder. “I’m serious.”
"So am I." He let out a sigh. "I know I have been neglecting you, but now that we seemed to have solved our population problem, I realized we have a lot to do, to update our planet's technology."
He remembered the conversation he had had with the council while he was on his way to take Colborn and Gil Ra to meet the Slythonians.
“You’re already working on that. Just don’t kill yourself in the process,” she scolded him. “Asking for the Slythonians’ help was a good step and I’m sure your people will be able to take it from there and improve things,” she said in a confident tone.
He kissed her once more.
“Eleanor seems to be doing great now that she has been converted,” he said, changing the topic to one that had more interest in him.
"Yes, she is. I don't remember having seen her this happy,” she admitted as she walked to the kitchen. "Have you eaten?" she asked him, with a faint smile.
Despite her happiness, she had been a bit worried that Asgar hadn’t mentioned the conversion to her.
“No, I haven’t. I didn’t have time for it,” he confessed, following her.
“I’ll get you something,” she offered, pulling up the kitchen screen and ordering some food for him. She had eaten earlier.
“Don’t you think we should be doing it too?” he asked her, taking a seat in front of her.
“Doing what?” she asked, not sure he was talking about the conversion. She took the food out of the teleportation machine and served it.
“Converting you,” he finally said the words.
“Are you sure you want that? It’s a lifetime commitment. And your life is quite long,” she asked him, trying to put things clear.
She didn’t want him to do it just because he felt he had to.
“Love of my life, that’s what I want the most. The idea of losing you hurts more than anything. I want you to live as long as I can and converting you is the only way we can do it,” he replied, in a very serious tone. “Don’t you want the same?”
Sasha hated her self-insecurity that prevented her from fully enjoying her life with Asgar. She had never expected to find a love so perfect in her whole life, so when confronted with it, she was having trouble to believe in it and fully accept it.
“Of course, I want it,” she admitted.
“What do you say if we go away for a few days? I own a small cabin on the other side of the planet, near the beach, where we can find privacy and time to do it,” he suggested.
“That sounds perfect,” she agreed immediately.
“Then, it’s a deal. I’ll call Haakon and let him know where we’ll be, just in case he needs me and we can leave early in the morning.”
She nodded as he finished eating. They cleared the kitchen together before he picked her up in his arms and carried her to their room. He felt as if he hadn’t been with her for ages.
They ripped their clothes off their bodies, as their arousal reached for the skies.
As soon as their bodies were naked, he took her to bed, and crawled next to her, claiming her sweet lips in a deep, passionate kiss that was meant to show her just how much he wanted her, just how much she meant to him.
When his lips finally left hers, they were breathless but certainly eager for more.
Asgar could feel both his cocks throbbing against her belly, and he realized that now that she had agreed to convert, his drogon felt stronger than ever and he wouldn’t be able to keep him away this time.
Kissing her one more time, he slid his hands to cup her breasts and clamp her hard nipples with his fingers, knowing how much she loved it. Her loud moan pleased him and his lips left hers just to start a trail of kisses and nibbles, along with her cheeks, to her earlobes and down her neck until he joined his hands. He loved the way her breasts swelled and her peaks became hard as rocks with his caresses and this time wasn’t any different.
Sasha moaned once more when she felt Asgar’s lips reach her breasts. She could feel her orgasm starting to build up, deep inside her and she could tell she wasn’t going to be able to hold it back much longer. Their passion that night was wilder and stronger than ever and she could feel his eagerness matched hers perfectly.
Moments later, he started to scroll down her belly and her whole body tensed up with anticipation. His hands spread her legs and soon his coarse tongue was swirling around her wet folds, sending jolts of pleasure through her body, but the minute he reached her aching clit, her whole body arched to meet him as she moaned out loud.
Pleased, he thrust two fingers deep inside her, combining thrusts with licks and nibbles until she was coming to the wild waves of her first orgasm.
Using her own fluids, he started to stretch her back entrance, pushing one finger inside her, drawing small circles until he was able to push a second finger. With scissoring moves, he stretched her as much as he could, until he felt she was ready for him.
Breathing hard, still shuddering, she looked at him startled when she felt both his cocks pressing her entrances.
“Two… cocks…? You have… two cocks?” she asked him, surprised.
“I guess I failed to tell you,” he replied with a misch
ievous grin.
She gasped when he pushed them just an inch, inside her. “No kidding.”
“It only comes out when I’m on my drogon form,” he explained, pushing them in a bit more.
“God… it feels so good.” She moaned out loud, tilting her head back.
With pleasure blasting through his veins, he thrust his cocks all the way in, eager to finally claim her.
Sasha couldn't believe the pleasure rushing through her once more. Feeling him buried so deep inside her felt like nothing else and she could feel another orgasm, welling up in the depths of her core. She had never felt so complete as if she had become a part of him as he was a part of her.
Thrust after thrust, he went in and out of her, a he felt the need of taking her blood become more and more urgent. The first waves of his orgasm crashed over him and he lost the tiny thread of control he still had. Leaning forward, he let his fangs bury themselves on the silky skin of her left breast, allowing them to take her essence.
Sasha felt the sting of his fangs on her skin, though she already was swirling on the wild turmoil of her second orgasm.
The rush of pleasure that followed the sting was so powerful she almost lost consciousness. Her whole body shivered and her breath came out in ragged gasps, as she was pushed over the edge, again and again, until he pressed his open wrist against her lips, inviting her to take his blood as well.
She did as he asked, relishing on the sweet taste of his blood and its warmness. When all was done, he collapsed beside her, pulling her closer to him.
“You’ve just been through the first stage of the conversion,” he whispered in her ear.
She tilted her head to face him. “Don’t you think you should have warned me?” she scolded him, but the wide grin on her face denied her words.
“It wasn’t in my plans, believe me,” he assured her.
She chuckled and kissed his chest, right above his heart. “It was an amazing experience.”
“For me too. I had never felt like this before.”
“How many stages are there?” she asked, curious.
