  “I’m going for a shower ...”

  Peri jumped up and grabbed his arm. “No! You’re not leaving me. We’ll shower together!”

  Peri was surprised at the moment’s panic she felt, when Gabe had moved to leave her. Strange, she thought.

  Then the thought of having a shower with her Wolf was forefront in her thoughts, and she smiled cheekily. Gabe growled, picked her up and carried her through to the bathroom.

  Gabe sat Peri on the sink unit and took off his own robe, watching as she raked her eyes down his muscular body. A smile on her lips, as she saw his hardness standing erect. Slowly he undid her robe and let it fall from her shoulders, and he took all of her in, every last piece of her skin, from her neck to her toes.

  He turned and switched the shower on and returned to Peri, relieving her of the small satin nightie before dipping his head to take in one perfect nipple.

  Peri moaned and her head fell back, as the sensations Gabe’s mouth had on her breast made her tingle from the inside out. One of his hands moved her legs further apart, so he could move between them, his hardness pressing at her bare core.

  “You sure? You sure you’re okay?” Gabe managed to get out and wondered what he would do if she said ‘No.’ He wasn’t sure he could stop himself, even if he wanted to.   “Yes! Gabe I need you, my Wolf,” Peri gasped and shifted her hips, so that she moved a little forward, nearer to that hardness she craved.

  Gabe didn’t waste any time, wasn’t taking the chance she would change her mind. With a powerful thrust, he pushed all the way inside his mate’s tight, very wet sheath. The sounds she made had him nearly coming there and then.

  “Fuck, Peri, you’re so tight and wet. I’m not hurting you, am I?” Gabe’s breathing was quick and harsh as he spoke, and Peri answered by grabbing the back of his head and pulling his lips down to meet hers.

  “I am here, Peri,” Josef said, as he stood with a warm, fluffy towel in his hands.

  Peri moved out of the shower cubicle and into his outstretched arms. As soon as she felt them close around her, she felt calm again and leaned into his lean, hard body.

  Josef picked her up with ease and carried her to the bed, where he lay her down before joining her.

  His hand rubbed all over to dry off her wet skin, as she smiled up at him. He was so hard it hurt.

  “Really?” Peri said quietly, and Josef knew she had heard his thoughts.

  “Yes, really. I watched, by the way.” Josef looked into her eyes and saw a slight blush on her face.

  “Oh,” was all Peri managed, as she realized what he meant. Her Vampire had watched, as her Wolf had taken her in the bathroom.

  “Weren’t you jealous?” she asked, a little embarrassed at his admission.

  “No, I had a shower earlier and realized that new towels were needed, so I was bringing one, but when I got to the door, I saw the two of you. I could not tear my eyes away, Peri, it was so erotic. I loved seeing the pleasure on your face, the lust, the passion. I am still aroused just remembering it. Peri, why don’t you try your new powers out? Look inside and see how I am feeling right now.”

  Josef waited and watched as she frowned, as if in concentration. Then her face flushed. She had obviously got inside his head. Saw the unadulterated lust that was still encompassing his entire being.

  Neither of them even heard Gabe exiting the bathroom and walking through the bedroom to the lounge.

  That was where they found him some time later, after they had a quick shower and were wrapped up in warm robes. The Wolf had a very cheeky smile on his face.

  “So you two look all loved up?” he quipped, and Peri laughed, the sound magical. He joined her, with Josef looking between the two, as if they were mad.

  “Why don’t we sit down and talk for a bit?” Josef now took Peri’s hand and pulled her with him, sitting in his chair and tugging her, so she sat on his lap. He didn’t think he had ever had anyone sit on his lap like this.

  “About what?” Peri asked, as she snuggled into her Vampire’s hard body.

  “I think you should try and relax and see if you can sense what changes have occurred?” Josef said into her hair, smelling her unique and glorious scent.

  “Okay.” Peri spoke quietly, as she tried to quieten her mind and focus.

  Slowly things came to her, she did indeed feel different, she felt a power inside her that hadn’t been there before. What was that? It was strong, and she knew she was going to have to work hard at getting it under control, because at the moment, it felt wild, untamed, and scary.

  Josef hugged her tighter, feeling what she was seeing inside, the power that lingered and awaited Peri’s dominance. His little Witch was far more powerful than any of them had ever thought.

  “Jeez, that’s strange, I can feel a power inside, but I don’t have control of it yet. I’ll need to get ready before I even try. I know now what you meant about me eating and getting strong. I’m going to need that strength before I even start on this, I can feel how draining it will be. I need to start my training again, I need to get strong.” Peri let out a long breath, not realizing she had been holding it in.

  “Yes, little Witch. I can feel it also, but don’t worry, we’ll get you ready and Liam can help you harness it. I will take care of your nutrition and Gabe can help in your training, he does like all that sweaty gym stuff.” Josef raised an eyebrow at his friend, who was nodding his head.

  “Yeah, I’ll help, Peri, we can use the carrot and stick method ...”

  “You know, the carrot and stick, I’ll train you, hard, and then you’ll reward me ...” Gabe was smirking, as Peri spoke up again.

  “Oh, I see, you are insatiable, Wolf!” She was laughing again, and Josef knew it was the most perfect sound he had ever heard.

  “Yeah, and don’t you forget it!” Gabe chuckled.

  “Food, I need food,” Peri said, as her stomach rumbled, even though it hadn’t been that long since she had eaten.

  “Gabe, order some food will you, what do you want, Peri?” Josef wasn’t moving, the feel of his mate on his lap was too good.

  “Anything really, Gabe, order whatever, I’ll eat it.” Peri smiled, as Gabe went to place the food order and snuggled into Josef.

  She was pretty sure this was the happiest she had ever been in her entire life. She was loved by the two most amazing men, even if one was a Wolf and the other a Vampire. She was getting stronger, too, and that could only help in what was to come.

  The taking down of her father. Now that was something she was looking forward to, immensely.

  “As am I,” Josef whispered, and she realized she didn’t have to do this on her own. Two very strong beings were going to be right by her side. She couldn’t wait.

  The food arrived quickly and Gabe and Peri ate, with Peri eating way more than she would normally. Josef noticed and smiled, thank goodness, her body needed building up and good food was the first step to that.

  As she finished, Gabe noticed a slight flush coming across her face, like the one she got when aroused. A huge smile was on his face before she even opened her mouth.

  “Can we go back to the bedroom?” she asked quietly, her arousal coming on quickly. She didn’t seem to have any control over it. It must be the mating thing the guys had tried to tell her about before they bonded.

  “Oh, yeah!” Gabe exclaimed, as he jumped up and pulled her from her chair, Josef on their heels, as they went quickly to the bedroom.

  The next forty-eight hours were spent in the bedroom, showering or eating. Peri had no idea there were so many ways to make love, but her two men made it their mission to show her, in detail.

  Sometimes it was the three of them together, others were just her and Gabe or Josef. Each and every time she loved it, and what they did to her body, her response to their touch amazing all three of them.

  None of them had much sleep over the two days spent cementing their bond, but finally Peri succumbed to her exhaustion and fell into a deep and peaceful sleep. Her men on either side of her in the bed, both with an arm around her body, as they, too, at long last, rested.

  Chapter 12

  Peri and Gabe slept for nearly ten hours, but Josef had too many things to organize, so he left the bedroom after a few hours. He needed to make sure all was in place for the coming days and weeks.

  When the Vampire sensed that they were awakening, he placed another order for food, plenty of food, and waited in the lounge. His friend and his mate walked through, looking more than a little sleepy, Gabe’s hair extremely messy and Peri’s eyes still a little dazed.

  “Food is on the way, then we can sit and discuss what I’ve got planned.” Josef moved to Peri and gave her a little kiss on her forehead, and she rewarded him with a smile and a hug.

  “Come and sit down. Gabe, get the door, food’s here.” Josef led Peri to her seat and then sat down next to her.

  Gabe brought in the trolley, put the food on the table, then took the trolley back out into the hallway. The smells coming from the plates had his mouth watering and Peri was just the same. They both had a large breakfast and waited to hear what Josef had to say.

  Josef watched them eat, still happy that Peri seemed to now be eating properly. He waited until they were mostly finished before starting to tell them of his plans.

  “I have decided we are going to the ranch ...”

  Peri interrupted, “What ranch?”

  “I have a rather large piece of land, a couple of hours drive from here. It’s a horse ranch. I breed some high-end horses, which can sell for small fortunes, especially to the Arab states. The main thing is that it is out of the way, with nothing near it for many miles. I think it will be a good place for you to get built up physically and to train with Liam. I also think that, when the time comes, it will be an ideal location for the showdown with your father. As I said, it’s remote and no neighbors. I have it all organized and we will leave later today.” Josef looked at Peri and Gabe, trying to see if they were on board with his plans.

  Gabe was nodding his head, he loved going Wolf out at the ranch, and he thought it was the perfect place and time to show Peri his inner Wolf.

  Peri wasn’t quite so sure, she had never even touched a horse, wasn’t sure she wanted to either.

  Gabe saw the frown on her face. “It’s great there, baby, there’s nothing around for miles and miles, nice and remote. I love going there. My Wolf gets out to play, when we’re there.”

  Peri looked at him, saw the cheeky smile and shine of excitement in his eyes. She had wanted to see his Wolf for a while, now it seemed as if she was going to finally get to meet him. She wondered just what he looked like.

  “Okay, what will I pack?” Peri asked, never having been on a ranch before.

  “Whatever you want, it’s not a log cabin in the forest, Peri. Though I would say to have jeans and casual things for riding ...”

  “Riding! I’ve never even been on a horse, Josef!” Peri’s heart had sped up slightly, it may be silly, but the thought of getting up onto a horse kinda scared her.

  “Precisely, my dear, that’s why you will be taught to ride, once you have, I am sure you will love it. There is nothing quite like it, even I indulge myself, when we are there.” Josef smiled at her face, which showed she may be a little afraid.

  “Yeah, sometimes I ride, too, though I prefer running as the Wolf beside Josef, when he’s riding.” Gabe couldn’t wait. It had been ages since he had been in a position to give his Wolf a good run. It had been getting more and more antsy, so going to the ranch now was great, in his opinion. He saw his little mate still frowning, but he knew as soon as she got there, she would love it.

  “Your Wolf runs with a horse? Isn’t the horse scared and how do you keep up?”

  “Firstly,” said Josef, “my mount is used to Gabe and his Wolf, and second, I do not think you have any idea what Gabe is like in Wolf form. However, I am not giving you any clues, you will have to wait and see for yourself.”

  Josef now tried to block his thoughts, in case his little Witch caught on to the pictures in his head, as he saw the Wolf in his mind’s eye. He was sure she had never seen such a magnificent creature, ever. If his friend hadn’t been so stubborn as a young Wolf and gotten into that fight with his Alpha so early, then he would have gone on to become the Alpha himself. His Wolf was large and strong enough to do just that. The power in the beast was immense, and the sheer size of the Wolf was surprising.

  Josef had seen many Wolves in his time, but Gabe’s was one of the largest he had come across. He was sure Peri was in for a surprise and more than a little shock, when she first saw it.

  Gabe stood up. “I’m going to pack. I can’t wait to get out for a good run, and there’s always something for me to hunt. There’s even some coyotes in the area, great fun!”

  Peri stared at him with wide eyes. He hunted? Well, of course, he was a flaming Wolf! A wild animal. She was scared and excited at the same time, wondering what it looked like, and if she would still be able to tell it was Gabe.

  She stood up and moved to her room, got her suitcase from the back of the dressing area and started to pack. Plenty of jeans and t-shirts went in, together with her army issue combat boots, plus some summery dresses and a couple of dressier things. She also pulled out some rather nice lingerie and picked up her red satin nightie. After all, they were all three going, and she was sure there would be time for them to e
njoy themselves.

  She packed some makeup and perfume. Just because she was going to a ranch didn’t mean she couldn’t smell nice. Anyway, both her men liked the perfume, as much as she did.

  Being newly bonded and mated, the need to be with her men was still strong inside her. She had more than a little smile on her face, as she added these last items and a quiver ran through her body in anticipation.

  After a quick shower, she dressed in jeans, shirt, and sandals and brought her case through. Two more were sitting near the door, and she placed hers next to them, her excitement building at the thought of a trip. Even if the trip had serious reasons and huge repercussions.

  At the end of it, she would be facing her father and God knew who else. One second she couldn’t wait for the showdown, and the next, her fear would take over. Fear that he had ingrained in her from a very young age, one that would be hard to overcome.

  She would do it, though, she had to, and she couldn’t wait to get started on her training. She needed to get strong in both body and magic before she even thought of taking on her father. She stood still as she pondered that…her father. A deep-seated feeling of hate engulfed her, as she let her mind wander, and she found she was looking forward to destroying him. Was that wrong? To want to kill your own father?

  Not if it was a father like hers.

  “Are you okay?” Josef asked, and she realized he must’ve heard her thoughts.

  “Yes, I’m fine. I just want to get strong in my magic. I need to feel safe, know that I can protect myself from him and his followers.” Peri sighed, as she looked at the concerned look on his face.

  “You will always be safe, little Witch. I will never let anyone harm you, but I understand your need to do this. Just know that I will always be there, just in case. Nobody will ever hurt you again, trust me on that.”

  Josef’s last words were uttered in a cold, hard voice and Peri shivered.

  She could feel his anger, it was like it rolled from his stiff body, anger and power...both immense. She nodded her head and gave him a smile. She immediately felt him relax, her smile breaking through his anger.
