Married to a Brownsville Bully 3

“There’s my favorite girl,” Denim’s voice floated through my speakers. I smiled through the tears. His voice just did something to me. It filled my body with so much joy that I couldn’t help but to float on cloud nine.
“Hi babe, what number is this?”
Silence.
“Why you sound like that, Hazel? You been crying or something?” He automatically heard the sound of my voice that I desperately tried hard to disguise.
“Today… It just has been a long day, babe. My emotions are all over the place and I need a minute to get them in check. I’m fine. Pregnant crazy lady stuff,” I tried to laugh it off.
“Nah. Something don’t sound right. You need me to come home early?”
“No,” I damn near hollered out. “I’m fine, I promise. You still didn’t answer my question.” I had to switch this subject. Just the thought of Yolani was about to bring me back to tears.
“The office phone. I dropped my damn phone in cement,” he sucked his teeth. “I wanted to check in with you before I headed to the Verizon store.”
“Cement? Why were you around cement?”
“Babe, why you got all these questions? I’m working, that’s all you need to worry about. How’s my baby?”
“The same as it was the other day. Tired, hungry and aggravated.”
“Maybe you need to take some time off from the shop. Be home and relax. Be just a wife for a while.”
“That’s how it starts,” I snapped on him. “First, I’m a hard-working, successful businesswoman, then I’m home all day, shopping and nagging you to take me out to dinner and taking care of our baby.”
“Damn, calm down,” he chuckled. “I’m not trying to take anything away from you. All I’m saying is that maybe you need to take some time away from the shop. You work so hard and that’s not good with the baby you’re carrying.”
“I hear you.” My plan wasn’t to snap on him.
What he said hit a nerve with me and I had to let him know that wouldn’t be me. Taking time off from work was one thing, but being just a wife was something I couldn’t or would do. I’ve seen women who were at the top of their games and running their business, hand it off to others to just chase after a man and be a wife. Some of them weren’t concerned with their children, just about their husband. I couldn’t see myself waiting at home like a damn dog for my husband to come through the door and make good on his promise to take me out. I would never be that type of woman.
“Calm down, go home and run a hot bath. You sound irritated, babe,” he told me and I couldn’t agree with him more.
“You’re right. I’m tired and need to just unwind.”
“I’ll call you once I get my new phone,” he promised and we ended the call. Sighing, I got on the expressway and headed toward home. Today had been a long day. I should have told Denim about me and Yolani speaking but he wouldn’t understand. This wasn’t something that I could come out right and tell him right away. Denim saw Yolani as the woman who stole me away from him years ago. How would he feel if I went running back to help her out? This was a secret that I was going to have to keep to myself for a while.

One month. It had been one month since I laid physical eyes on my man. Yoshon had to go to Belize and the original plan was for all of us to travel there. Those plans changed when Gyan brought home a bad grade from school. It wasn’t that he was fooling around, talking or acting like a class clown. He didn’t understand the work and I couldn’t have that. Our prolonged stay in California caused him to miss school. I thought the tutor was helping him, and she wasn’t. My job as a mother was to make sure I did the best for my son. Although lounging around a villa in Belize sounded like heaven on earth, my son needed to understand his school work. When I told Yoshon that me, Gyan, Yashleigh and Pit Pat were staying, he understood. He knew I didn’t play when it came to my son and that I was going to make sure the kids were straight while holding down the home front.
Still. A month was too long and I thanked time and God for bringing us together today. I waited at the airport for him to come out. Since he was coming from another country, I knew he had to go through Customs. I just wanted to get my hands around him and jump into his big arms. Facetime just wasn’t doing it for me anymore. Laying in his empty bed was like torture. If that wasn’t enough, he had to work while he was there so it wasn’t much time for us to be on the phone. When we did get on the phone, I was ready to show him everything he was missing. A few times I had to close my silk robe because he was snoring while I was trying to be sexy. Yoshon had been working hard, and from what Pit Pat told me, it was the hardest thing he would have to endure.
The automatic doors opened and I watched as Yoshon swaggered across the street. If I didn’t have the key still in the ignition, I would have run all the way across the street and jumped into his arms. When he got close enough, I couldn’t contain myself and ran right into his arms full force.
“Seems like somebody missed daddy,” he smirked as he continued to pull his bags, carry me and kiss me on the neck. “Damn, I missed your scent.” He licked my neck.
If Yashleigh wasn’t asleep in the back, I would have told him to go to one of these hotels in Queens. I needed my man like the air I breathed. Here I was using expressions like that when I thought I would never love a man again. Yoshon Santana was different. He wasn’t built like the men these days. God took some extra time when he was sculpting and building him for me.
“I missed you. Yes, I missed the hell out of you.” Not one to admit my feelings, I was screaming them out as he leaned me against the car and stared into my face.
“Maybe I should leave more often. You got me feeling like a king and shit now.” He kissed me a few times on the lips.
“What about me? You didn’t miss me?” My lip was poked out. Here I was screaming for the entire JFK airport to hear that I loved and missed this man, and all he said was that he missed my damn scent.
“If I told you how I much I missed you, we might get booked for indecent exposure.” He moved my hand to his sweats. His dick was hard as hell and I was sitting here wondering if catching the case was worth it. Right now, I had the bail money to get out, so it was definitely worth it.
“Stop sitting there pondering if the shit worth it,” he laughed as he opened the back door where Yashleigh was sleeping. “How long she been out?”
“About twenty minutes before you walked out here. They kept making me circle around and I had to change her diaper. The man over there told me to park right here and he’ll make sure I wouldn’t get a ticket.”
“Word?”
“Yeah. I had to change her and feed her. She think she grown,” I giggled. “Once she sees me up on my laptop, she tries to stay up with me.”
Nobody couldn’t tell me that Yashleigh wasn’t my child. We had this little bond that felt like she was mine. Whenever I wasn’t near, she would scream until she saw me come into her view. This time around, having a newborn was so much easier than with Gyan. I didn’t have all the help that I have now with Pit Pat. Soon as Pit Pat saw me struggling or the bags under my eyes becoming dark, she stepped in and told me to go lay down somewhere. I appreciated that woman more than she knew. With Gyan, she was always a saving grace. In the morning when I was running late trying to get Gyan and Yashleigh together, she would step in and take him to school for me. That woman did everything and never broke a stride in doing it. I wished she would slow down and realize that we’re capable of taking care of ourselves. All I wanted was for that woman to sit down, relax and enjoy herself every once in a while.
“You really getting your new mommyhood on, huh?” He kissed me on the cheek and walked around to open the passenger door for me.
“I’m just trying to pull my weight around the house. Yashleigh is never an issue.”
“How many times have I told you that you don’t need to pull your weight around what’s yours? That’s your home too and nobody is looking for y
ou to do anything, but be you.”
It was hard to sit around and not doing anything. I tried, and then I got bored and started to do things around the house. Pit Pat hated when I did laundry or cleaned the dishes because she told me those were her chores to do. Yoshon didn’t want neither of us doing a thing and would hire a maid in a heartbeat. He also knew his grandmother and she would curse a maid for even crossing the threshold of our home.
“I know. I’m just trying to help around the house, that’s all. How was Belize? Tell me about everything.”
He whipped the car away from the curb and sped out of the arrivals terminal. “Nothing to talk about. I gotta step up and that shit ain’t gonna be a walk in the park. Baru sending over some security for the house tonight.”
“Security for the house? What do you mean?”
“Soon as he announces that I’m taking the throne, I need to be protected. Since I refused to move to Belize to the family’s compound, he told me this was how much he’s willing to bend. I’ll take the security over uprooting our entire family to a new country.”
“I understand that, but what will people at Gyan’s school think? Do they need to follow us everywhere? I don’t like how this sounds, Yoshon.”
Staring between me and the streets, he smirked. “You already knew what we were up against, babe. It ain’t what neither of us wants, but we need to handle it, ight?”
“Okay.”
“That brings me to the next part of instructions I was given. What’s your ring size?”
“Why?”
“Because we gotta get married.”
Maybe it was a good thing that he took over and decided to drive. If I was driving, I probably would have hit the brakes in the middle of this expressway. He didn’t continue to poke me; he allowed the words to sink in with me.
“Marriage?” My voice was shaky as hell, and I didn’t know what was going to come next. We had only went from missing each other to now talking about marriage.
“I have to be married, or it’ll be an arranged marriage. I have a woman that Pit Pat failed to inform me about. She’s ready for me to take her hand in marriage. Unless, I’m already married.”
“Woah! Woah! Woah! So you were around the bitch you’re supposed to marry for a entire month? How the fuck do I know that you’re not already married?”
“Would I lie to you?”
“I don’t know. Shit, you head of a cartel now, that might be another instruction Baru gave you.” I snapped my head back and stared at him.
“Baru had her come through for lunch. She was pretty and ready to be submissive to anything I told her as a husband. I told Baru I had a woman in the states that I’m madly in love with.”
“And?”
“He asked if you were submissive, and I told him hell nah.”
“Why would you tell him that? I can be when I want to be,” I whined and forgot all about why I was mad. Yoshon had my anger all over the damn place and I was trying to figure out which thing to be angry about.
“Babe, you mad about everything. Chill. You’re not submissive and that’s the reason I’m in love with you. I’m not the type of nigga that need a woman to stroke his ego or agree with everything I say.”
“Marriage is big, Yoshon. I’m not getting married just because it’s a demand you need to oblige. Marriage is something to be cherished, not to be done because it’s on a list of demands. Plus, I’m still legally married to Grand.”
“I’m not marrying you because Baru told me to. When he told me I had to marry you, I told him I wouldn—”
“Am I damaged goods or something?” I cut his ass off once again. What the hell he meant by telling his uncle he wouldn’t marry me? I’m a damn good catch. Flawed as hell, but still worth it.
“Golden, shut up!” he barked. He was so loud that the baby stirred in her sleep. “On the flight back home, I thought about you and the kids. I don’t want to play house; I want this shit to be real. So, we can go to the lawyer’s office and draw up the divorce papers and I’ll deliver them to Grand myself,” he told me.
“What makes you think I want to jump from one marriage to another?”
“You’re not jumping from one marriage to another one. You’re jumping from a disaster to a marriage. I’m not asking you, because I know you want this as much as I do. If this isn’t what you want, tell me now.”
“I don’t want a wedding.” Little did he know, I wanted this more than he did.
I wanted a man to love me the way Yoshon loved me. No, I needed a man to love me like that. For years I had sat back and got the short end of the stick when it came to love. For the first time I was getting everything I deserved from a man that wanted to give it to me. It was never about the material things when it came to Yoshon. He could shower me with the world and all I was interested in was his love and affection. Fuck the cars, clothes and jewelry. Shower me with your feelings, love and affection.
“Why?”
“I had a wedding and look how that turned out.” I continued to stare out the window.
“You robbing Pit Pat from seeing me get married, you know that?” When he said that, I realized I was being selfish.
“You’re right.”
“We don’t have to do nothing big. Something with a few people, and a reception.”
“Okay. How long do we have?”
“We got time. My uncle will be in attendance too. I want him to see me marrying you.”
“I guess.”
The traffic was light as Yoshon zipped through it. We pulled into our gates in record time. Pit Pat’s car was in the driveway so I knew she had just got back from getting Gyan from school.
“Feels good to be back home.” He got out the car, got Yashleigh out the back and then opened my door. “Hey lil’ mama… Damn, you got fat. The hell you eating these days, steak bottles?” He kissed his daughter all over and snuggled her while we walked into the house.
“Is that my baby boy?” Pit Pat’s voice boomed through the house when she heard the front door chime.
“Pit Pat, I’m too old to be your baby boy,” Yoshon chuckled and found her in the kitchen. “You always in here cooking.”
Pit Pat put her wooden spoon down and went over and hugged Yoshon tightly. “Boy, I missed you more than you know. How was the flight? Did your uncle’s hussy of a wife pack you some snacks for the flight? You hate airplane food.”
It was crazy how much this woman knew him. She knew him better than anyone else in the world. I could tell he spent the entire flight eating some peanuts or crackers instead of eating the food provided. “She’s trying, Pit Pat. Give her some credit; she cooked for me once.”
“Trying to get on my damn bad side. Baru goes off and marries some woman who probably doesn’t even know what Toys R Us is. She cooked once? I’m just glad you’re home,” she snapped and went behind the stove. “Dinner will be done very soon, and I’m fixing you a big plate. Go on and put Yaya down here and go spend time with your wom—”
“Mr. YOSHON!!!!!” Gyan hopped down the steps and flew right into his arms. Yoshon picked him up and hugged him tightly. “Nobody told me you were coming back home.” He continued to hug him tightly.
“I told your mother to be quiet about it. It was supposed to be a surprise.”
“Man, I’m glad you’re back. It was hard being the only man of the house. I’m ready to go back to being a kid again.”
“I appreciate you for looking out,” Yoshon laughed.
“No problem.” They did their little handshake and Gyan came over to hug me. “Hey mom. How was your day?”
“It was good. How was your day, baby?” I nuzzled his head while I held onto Yaya.
“School was boring. It’s always boring.”
“Yeah, well, you need school to get to college. Go on and get started on your homework with Pit Pat,” I told him and placed Yaya in her rocker that was on the counter.
“Go on and spend time with your man. You been running around here like a
bitch in heat waiting for that man to get off the plane,” she called me out in front of Yoshon.
“Pit Pat!” I squealed and laughed at the same time.
“What? A bitch is a female dog. Go on, child,” she told me so I grabbed Yoshon’s hand and headed upstairs.
“Damn, you just gonna let my grandmother know you about to fuck the shit out of me?” he joked as I closed the bedroom behind us.
“Yep,” I said while pulling at his sweats. His dick was already hard and I was ready to feel the shit all in my stomach. There was no need for foreplay. I needed him inside of me right now.
“Take that off.” He pointed to my Fashion Nova jeans and I got out of them quicker than it took me to pull them up this morning. Grabbing me, he spun me around and pushed me face first into the bed. I gasped when I felt his dick enter me from behind. The juice coming from between my legs was dripping like a damn leaky showerhead. My pussy gripped his dick like it belonged there its entire life. He pulled out and slammed himself right back inside of me. I held onto the sheets and bit them to keep from screaming out. This house was huge and I’m sure Pit Pat and Gyan wouldn’t hear all the moaning I was doing. Still, as sexually frustrated as I was, I couldn’t be too sure.
“Daddy, go harder,” I whined and he did what I begged him to do. Yoshon gripped my hips and pulled me back into him harder with each thrust. I wanted to cry out to God; this felt so damn good. Tears welled up in my eyes as he fucked the shit out of me and grunted. It was something about the way he grunted while we had sex that turned me on.
“Baby, this shit fucking tight. You was holding this for daddy?” he slapped my ass hard and watched it ripple. He pulled my ponytail and my head came back. “You heard me, now answer,” he growled in my ear.
“Yes, baby. I…Uhhhh, I uhhhh, missed your dick,” I moaned as I tried to find the words to speak. He spanked me once more and then turned me to face him. He pushed me back on the bed and slid right back into his special cave. I wrapped my legs around him and hugged his neck. He stood up and walked over to the wall near the balcony. With my back leaned against the wall, he fucked me into another world while we watched the sun get ready to set.
