One Night Bride

This time, it was fast and furious, the was little room for much else. I pushed her into the shower wall and fucked her hard from behind. She couldn’t spread very wide in this position, so she was tight and felt every inch of me. Her head angled back to my shoulder, and I held her steady as my cock pulsed and jumped, slamming into her with powerful strokes.

“Xavier,” she yelled, her head angled back to my ear. “Please …” she braced herself against the wall, “slow down a little.”

It hit me like an avalanche; I was hurting her. I eased up and caught my breath. I didn’t pull out of her, but I slowed down and massaged her ravaged pussy with my cock, easing her pain.

“I’m sorry; I got carried away,” I confessed as she laughed, meeting my pace with her own sweet movements.

“It’s okay.” She set the speed, and I let her.

It was soft and loving as her pussy stroked the length of my hardness, up and down until she was breathing steadier. She slipped herself off of me, and my cock bounced out of her. She turned to face me and kissed my chest as her hand gently put me inside of her again. When she had me in comfortably, she lifted one leg and then the other. My hands immediately went to her ass to support her weight as I pressed her against the wall.

“The other position was uncomfortable, this feels better. Go for it, jackhammer away,” she nipped my chin.

“Are you sure? You’re not hurt?” I was worried.

  “Nope, I’m all yours.”

With that, I did pick up my pace again but never slammed into her. Instead, I made love with firm gentle strokes until she bit my shoulder and found her release. Surprised by the feral biting, I almost came in her, but was able to pop out of her as my seed shot against the shower wall. I loved this position because even though I had to leave her, I was still holding her close. Everything swirled around me, her magic filling the room.

I set her down. “Do we really have to take the bus?” I asked kissing one of the breasts presented before me.

“I can’t take a plane. He’ll have people already looking for me. They’ll know if I book a flight or get on a plane. Things that are easy to track, like credit card use, things online, transportation, he can use to find me. They may not be looking at buses and trains right now, but they’ll definitely be searching airline passenger databases.

“Ugh, the thought of all those hours on a bus.” I was whining I knew it, but seriously, it was a hard concept to stomach.

The water cascaded down our soapy bodies washing away the suds and our lovemaking funk. She luxuriated in the water, rolling her head and letting it cascade through her hair before she faced me.

“Are you finished showering?” she asked in a bright and happy tone.

“Are you?” I asked in response.

“I am,” she said as she turned off the water and stepped out.

I followed behind her, handing her a towel. The towels were horrid little scratchy square pieces of fabric. I dried off as quickly as I could. I didn’t unpack in this little hellhole, so I retrieved underwear from my bag, one pair for me and one for her.

“Here, these will be more comfortable on the trip,” I teased as I tossed her a pair. “Hopefully, they’ll also keep Big Little Mr. Dean away from you for a while.” Her face fell some at the idea of it.

“Ah, he’s not that bad, just a little naughty and very demanding.” Her face scrunched into a funny grimace.

She put on the boy short underwear and looked adorable; she had the perfect body for them. I was definitely going to be creating a line for women as soon as I got back to the office.

As she was toweling her hair, I watched her body change from the happy, fun girl I was falling in love with to someone a little quieter and more refined.

“Thank you for finding me and for giving me one of the best nights I’ve ever had. Actually, two of the best nights, if you consider our wedding.” Her smile was loving and beautiful.

I always saw her as fun, flirty, and wild, but the woman standing before me with rings of golden wet hair, wearing boy’s boxer briefs, was a woman, a powerful being in charge of her world and her destiny.

“No need to thank me, love. I thought we’ve already covered that.” I wanted to sound more loving than I actually did, but I didn’t need or want any more of her gratitude. I would have done what I did for her over and over again. I was realizing this when she continued.

“You should go back to San Francisco, Xavier. You don’t belong on a two-day bus ride; you’ll never survive. You barely could make it through a night of street food and beer. The food you get on the road is a thousand times worse. You need to be in your studio making clothes that men adore and women adore men in. You have more billboards to shoot and famous people to dress. You shouldn’t be hiding.”

I had no idea where she was going with all of this, but I hated the sound of it. “And neither should you, but when necessity calls.” I felt a strange fear ice my veins.

“You shouldn’t be caught up in all of this. I appreciate all you’ve done for me, and I’ve loved every minute with you, but the more we do this, the more I want it, so it’s best if you just go back to San Francisco. It’ll be easier for me that way. We can have our marriage annulled anytime. And the tattoo … there are places—”

I cut her off. “What the hell are you talking about?” I stepped into my jeans and threw a shirt on as I approached her. “Has something changed?”

Tears welled in her eyes but didn’t fall. “I can’t do this. I can’t run from my dad and not fall in love with you at the same time. I’m not built that way. I’m not … I’m not going to be able to walk away from this easily.” She hung her head, presumably feeling some sort of shame.

“I see,” I said softly as I touched her shoulder; she stood strong. “And you think I should go back to San Francisco because I’ve fucked you and had my night, and the marriage and the tattoo are complications, but can easily be remedied?” I wanted to sound cold and ridiculous.

“I’m sorry about them, I was just so drunk.” Her strength was waning some.

“Yes, you made me do these things as if you had the power to control my every move.” I was being a cold bastard, but I needed her to hear it this way, so she would understand my truth.

She stayed silent. I picked up the bag of things I’d bought for her and pulled out the red dress, my favorite, and handed it to her.

She looked at it. “I can’t wear this on the bus.” Her eyes were wide and scolding … but mostly she was rather incensed.

“I’m taking the rest of these with me, payback for you stealing my favorite pair of pants.” I grabbed her backpack. “And since I’m married to you, fifty percent of this backpack is mine as well.”

“You’re being childish, Xavier. I can’t wear this on the bus, I’ll … it’s not appropriate.” There was a tinge of desperation in her voice. “May I please have a pair of pants? I promise to pay you back for them.” The sadness in her tone was killing me.

“Put the dress on, Arcadia,” I commanded, my alpha-maleness leading the conversation.

I had wanted to surprise her, so I played along with her little bus plan, but I’d made arrangements the day before for a more efficient and equally safe mode of transit. Having her want to end it all so abruptly because she was afraid of getting too close or feeling what was building between us was sad. Sad I had such an abysmal reputation and sad she thought of herself as just one of the many women I’d dated.

I traveled across country lines to ensure her safety; she had to know she was more to me, and yet why would she? All I’d really done was have sex with her and a night of dancing. I hadn’t told her that any of this was more than temporary, or even that I’d try and consider more with her. I explained I’d stay married for convenience and her safety, but not because I saw any merit in marrying her. Granted, I wasn’t ready for anything long-lasting or permanent, but I was willing to try towards that goal. In fact, seeing her face me, ready to throw me out, was the
moment when I knew I’d do more than try.

“Xavier, can I please have my money and a set of clothes.” Her voice was trembling, and I could see the tears start to fall.

“No,” I said softly as I turned, opened the door, slung her backpack over my shoulder, grabbed my suitcase, and walked out.

“Xavier!” she called after me but was naked except for her underwear.

I heard her race to catch up with me down the hall. She wasn’t wearing her shoes, so she struggled to put them on as she ran. I darted for the limousine waiting in front of the motel. A driver stood with the door open, and she stopped in her tracks when she saw me standing there, holding her backpack out like bait. She had the red dress on, and as I suspected, she looked amazing in it, like a goddess in scarlet.

“No, Mrs. Dean. I am not going back to San Francisco. I am getting in this car with you, and we are going to Costa Rica. I promise you will be safe and protected. I am not getting on a bus anytime soon; you’re very right about that. You now have a choice. Get in the car and stop pushing me away or stay here and find your way to Costa Rica wearing the sexiest dress I’ve ever seen on a human being. So, good luck getting anywhere in that dress.” I gave her a seductive smile.

People passing by were watching us.

“You are a horrible person,” she pouted.

“Husband,” I corrected. “I’m a horrible husband. Now get in the car; you’re causing a scene. You’re the one who doesn’t want to be noticed.” I winked at her, making sure she knew I wasn’t a complete bastard.

  Chapter 20

  Arcadia

I wasn’t sure what to make of what was happening, but Xavier stood there holding my backpack and my clothes. The door to the limo was open and waiting for me to get in. I knew he wouldn’t want to put me in any unnecessary jeopardy, so I grabbed my backpack from him, stuck my tongue out, hoping he appreciated the playful gesture and slid into the soft leather seats. The driver took Xavier’s bag and put it in the trunk and then closed the door.

“Wise choice,” Xavier noted as he pulled out his cell phone. “I need to make one call, Mrs. Dean, then we’ll discuss your behavior.”

I crossed my arms in front of me and glared.

“It’s an important call,” he glared back.

I almost burst out laughing; I tried to contain it, but it was hard. He definitely caught me.

“Hey Damon, it’s Xavier. Okay, I’m in the car, and she’s fine; she agreed to come.” There was a pause. I pursed my lips and glared harder. “Yes, she’s in the car,” again he mimicked my expression, “and we’re leaving Mexico now. Everything else is arranged. So from now on, you cannot reach me at this number; you have to use the private number I gave you yesterday. Christopher Saint? Yes, have my money transferred into the Christopher Saint account, and I’ll be conducting all my business while in Costa Rica under that name.

Please make sure my assistant knows all the details so we’re ready to go. I’ll be turning this phone off, and Xavier Dean will go rogue in about five minutes. Yes, as soon as we get to Costa Rica and get settled, I’ll handle all of their questions. Xavier Dean will be at your wedding in a few days, but I’m heading back right after the reception. I hope you’re okay with that.” He looked at me, and I stared back, shocked by the conversation I was overhearing. “Thanks, Damon, thanks for understanding. I’ll see you in a few days.” With that, he turned off his phone and put it into his pocket.

“Arcadia,” his voice was stern and almost angry. “First, I understand you think I’ll fuck and dump you the minute I’m finished with you. I do have a pretty horrific reputation with women. Until I met you, I had no problem with it. I didn’t have to answer to anyone for the choices I’d made. I understand it must be what you expected from me, although I hoped I was showing myself to be a better man. Apparently, I have not. I’m not going to ditch you and run off after having fucked my fill of you.”

My eyes widened at his directness. “Okay,” I whispered, feeling tense, my heart fluttering.

“I’ve only had one relationship that meant anything. She was the love of my life. Her name was Lauren; she died on a plane I had chartered. Her death was unexpected and tragic and part of me died with her. I never wanted to feel that desperate, torturous despair again. It was convenient not to love; it made it easier to bear the loss. After knowing you for just three days, I can’t say if you’re the woman I’m meant to stay married to, but I’m willing to consider it. I want to explore this. I’m not interested in ending our relationship, despite the deep and unsettling feelings I have for you. Love is uncomfortable, but I’m willing to try. As I said before, we need to communicate with one another. I appreciate you telling me this morning I can go back to San Francisco, but the next time you tell me to leave, I expect you to mean it; otherwise, be honest. I’m falling in love with you. I’m overwhelmed with emotions I cannot express, so when you tell me to leave, it hurts.” His eyes were intense and soulful.

I nodded. “I’m sorry.” I wanted to say he was scrambling my brain and making it impossible for me to find my balance, but instead, I went with my heart. “You’re a famous man, known everywhere, and I’m just me. I love who I am. I’m enough for myself, but somehow I don’t feel like I’m enough for you.” My gut tightened saying it, and I thought I might pass out.

He took my hand and smoothed his thumb over my knuckles. “I like control. I demand the finest of everything; I work too hard. I’ll let you take the reins sometimes but not as much as you’ll want. You’re going to hate me for that. I’ll want to have sex with you all the time, especially if you allow me to dress you. I don’t let go very easily. I’m not an adventurer. I like things exactly my way; I don’t understand the idea of wiggle room. I’m too much for anyone. Be gentle with me, and perhaps I’ll learn to be enough for you.” With that, he took my hand and kissed it. “... and I promise to be honest.”

I leaned in and kissed his mouth, his soft, rugged mouth and melted. I was so dazed by all his confessions, I didn’t even notice we’d arrived at a tiny airport. My heart raced, but I let go and trusted him. He wouldn’t knowingly put me in danger. The car pulled up to a small tarmac where one solitary plane sat, engines ready.

“We’re here,” he announced as the car pulled up beside the plane.

“Xavier?” My mouth must have been hanging open. “What is that?

“A private jet. Not mine, although I own two, from a company I trust. Today, Christopher Saint and Elyse McGinty are going to San Jose, Costa Rica for a vacation.” He smiled. “Shall we?” he extended his hand, and I took it as we headed toward the plane.

“McGinty?” I almost laughed at the name.

“One sees it and moves on. It conjures quite an image, perhaps a buxom Irish lass, certainly not a hot, surfer chic with a master’s degree.” He gestured for me to ascend the steps in front of him.

“... almost a master’s degree. Don’t think I didn’t notice you named yourself Saint.” I cleared my throat in consternation.

“But of course, I did,” He slapped my ass as he walked up the stairs behind me.

Inside, the plane was camel-colored leather with gold finishing; it was complete and total opulence.

The smartly uniformed woman who greeted us was beautiful and officious. “Welcome aboard Mr. Saint, Ms. McGinty.” I tried not to snicker; it took all my effort. “Make yourselves at home. The trip to San Jose will be three hours and five minutes. I know you requested not to be disturbed during your flight; however, the breakfast you ordered will be served before we take off. If you require anything else, please feel free to use the call button. Otherwise, we’ll not be interrupting your flight.”

“Thank you, Angelica,” Xavier said, reading the woman’s name badge. “I doubt we’ll be needing any further assistance.” His voice was warm but firm.

“Very well sir, we’ll be departing soon.” With that she smiled and closed the door behind her, leaving us alone.

  I looked around the plane;
there were a few seats, a table with some chairs, and a couch. I sat down on the couch. “This is amazing.” I smiled.

“Oh, you haven’t seen the amazing part yet,” Xavier corrected as he gently took my hand and dragged me off the couch.

Behind an accordion door, was a king sized bed, beautifully lit with low amber lighting.

“Um, what kind of plane is this?” I asked, eyeing Xavier with suspicion.

“The kind where we won’t be disturbed, for three hours and five minutes.” He had the Devil in his eye. “They’re known for their discretion.”

“Have you brought many women on planes like this one?” I don’t know why I asked the question, but it just blurted out.

“Do you want to know about the other women I’ve had on a plane like this one?” In the spirit of honesty, I guess he was going there.

“Not particularly no. It’s just … um, well if there have been others …” Yikes, I was really struggling.

“Worried you might be seen as the flavor of the month? Ms. McGinty?”

Yep, that’s what I was worried about. “I am a little.” I hated to admit it. “I think I’m okay with it, but I’m not sure. It’s the first glimpse I’ve seen of your world. I don’t really know how to operate … the way you do, I guess.” God, I was so nervous, my armpits were starting to perspire.

“I’ve not been on this particular plane with another woman, but I’ve used this company for their impeccable discretion on several occasions. Many men of my standing, who are as recognized as I am, have used their services. My guess is, though, given how hot you look in this dress, there’s no doubt in their minds about what we’ll be doing. We don’t have to do it, but I promise you, there won’t be one person on this plane who doesn’t think we’re having sex during this flight. Given it’s our “vacation” and all, it would seem reasonable. However, if that makes you uncomfortable, you can change into jeans, and we’ll open the doors and watch a movie, in full view of everyone, so there won’t be one single person who thinks you came on this plane to fuck me.” His smile was sensual and feral. “Your call.”
