  “I suppose that’s a good thing.”

Trace wrapped an arm around Bailey. “I’m glad we can finally put this experience with Harini behind us.”

“Me, too,” she responded. “I feel better knowing that she’s no longer preying on writers who only want to see their books on the shelves. The world needs all of our stories.

  There’s no need for competition.”

“Unfortunately, there will always be Harini Samuels’ in the world,” Trace said. “They will never cease to exist.”

“And there will always be someone who isn’t afraid to speak up,” responded Bailey.

“What are you planning to do with those manuscripts?”

“I thought about giving them to her agent since she’s the executor of Harini’s estate, but then she would know the truth which could’ve led to all kinds of legal issues. I gave them to the funeral director and requested that he put them in her coffin. Harini will literally take the truth of what happened between her and Pip to the grave.”

“I guess that’s the end of that story.”

Grinning, Bailey shook her head. “Honey, you know me better than that. I’m not going to stoop to public shaming, but I am going to write a fictionalized version of what happened between Randy and Harini. I even have the perfect title for it… Poison Pen.”
