  Note

Cruel Princes of Wyvern All-Boys Academy #2 is a Reverse Harem New Adult Bully Romance Academy Series.

What does it mean to be Reverse Harem? It means there will be three or more love interests for the Female Main Character, she will end up with three or more. Although this takes place at a high school Academy, the characters are 17+ and there are consensual sex, some language, and mature situations.

We are The Four Princes from The Four Kingdoms of Wyvern.

Razor is the Red Prince from the Kingdom of RoseCliff.

Jasper is the Green Prince from the Emerald Realms.

Tar is the Black Prince from the Dark Forests.

And Flint is the Silver Prince from the Metal Lands.

We are princes one day who will rule our kingdoms in Wyvern. Right now, we are the Kings of Wyven School for Boys, a school known for the toughest training of rulers and heads of states to be in order to prepare them for the cruel, cruel world we know of, in the kingdoms of Wyvern.

On a typical day at Wyvern School for Boys, one student or another gets beaten badly, pranked on so viciously, that they end up seriously injured or close to death. It is the way of Wyvern. It is how kingdoms determine the next heir and successors to thrones.

It is a vicious game. One of survival. One of rules.

So when they let in Allotrope Free from some nowhere kingdom, we felt affronted. Assaulted with disrespect.

First of all, Allotrope is not a boy, but this girl, who is much too pretty and gorgeous to be in a school full of boys.

Second, she is the last thing anyone would think could be a ruler or head of state. She is an orphan.

Wyvern School for Boys is letting her in as a statement from one of our mothers, who is the ruling Queen of one of our kingdoms. Girls can grow up to become rulers too.

Kingdoms are at sake. Real wars are being fought. The last thing we need is a girl like Allotrope to make everything we stand for, a whole big joke.

So, when it comes time to eliminate a student at Wyvern School for Boys, Allotrope should be the first to go, and we Four Princes, will make sure she goes.

  ****

Call me Allotrope...Ally for short. When I received a royal decree from Queen Jade of the Emerald Realms to attend school at Wyvern School for Boys, I thought it was a prank pulled by my friend William who apprentices with me at the Blacksmith. There was no way I could attend such an elite school just for kings-to-be.

But it was a Royal Decree, and if I don't obey the Decree, there was a threat of death to me and to all I hold dear, which probably means William and his parents, Bilbo and Kate, the blacksmith and his wife, the alchemist, whom had let me stayed with them since I became an orphan.

To keep them safe. To keep me from losing my head, I packed up what little belongings I had and enrolled at Wyvern School for Boys.

Everything at Wyvern School for Boys was meant to intimidate. Being the only girl at a school of incredibly handsome boys, especially the Four Princes, was intimidating.

Not to mention the cutthroat competition that literally cuts students from the school.

I'm stuck in a hard place...either get killed by defying the Royal Decree and also get everyone I cared for, killed. Or stick it out at Wyvern School for Boys, despite all the bullying and cutthroat games Wyvern has in store for me.

Of course, there is no choice...I must survive Wyvern School for Boys, or die trying.

Did I mention this is a school for Dragons, too? I just have to watch out for the fire.

***Roses and Emeralds is book 2 of the Cruel Princes of Wyvern Series for mature teens and up (17+) and is a paranormal dark fantasy bully romance reverse harem that will contain steamy and scorching scenes, dark fantasy elements, and consensual sex. This is a high school NA series.

  Prologue

  Queen Jade

They had chased her up the mountain, to the entrance of the cave. She knew she’d be cornered, but there was nowhere else to go. In the darkened cave, they closed in on her, chasing her down; creatures with razor sharp teeth, no eyes and all mouth. They breathed on her, enveloping her in their toxic fumes.

She knew what they craved; blood and flesh, no matter the source. Humans were easy prey, dragons delectably challenging and when neither was available, any red-blooded creature would do.

But falling prey to the beasts was more than a matter of losing flesh and bones. It was a matter of losing one’s soul. Like parasites of the very worse kind, they found their way into their host, burrowing into their brain and taking control. Their host invariably turned hateful and quickly developed an unquenchable thirst for blood.

Once the brain was completely consumed, the parasite slowly moved down to devour the remainder of the host, careful to attack only non-vital organs, muscle tissue and bone, all to ensure the host lived as long as possible, though in excruciating pain.

The final days of the unfortunate victim were always gruesome.

And now, that unfortunate end was breathing down on her. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she inched further back into the darkened cave.

But they were not tears of fear. Queen Jade knew she could and would slay them with ease. No. Her tears were for the lovers she’d known and adored, the lovers she’d passionately embraced, played with and ultimately married. The very men who now approached her with the devil in their eyes.

“Nero,” she said softly, her hand on the hilt of her sword. “If there is any part of you, anywhere in there, that can hear me, please don’t come any closer. Don’t make me do what I am loathe to do.”

The King of the Dark Forest ignored her plea and stepped closer.

“I can help you, Nero. I’ll do anything to save you from the horrid end that awaits you.” She knew it was a lie, a hopeless lie. He was beyond saving.

  He took another step closer.

Her heart broke. Never in her young life had she imagined killing a cherished lover and a friend… the first of her three husbands. Never, as the young queen of all the kingdoms of Wyvern had she envision killing one of her own; and a king, no less.

“I beg you, Nero,” she whispered through her tears. She could still imagine the young, handsome man she’d married not too long a
go, so charming, poised and eager to take on the world.

He flicked his tongue around, running it over the grotesque lips that ran from one side of his face to the other. As much as he loved her, and she knew that he did, she also knew there was no stopping him.

She pulled out her sword, but it was suddenly so unbearably heavy, and her unsteady hand shook with emotion.

He stepped closer and reached out with a clawed hand.

  “Nero, don’t,” she cried.

His demonic eyes stared blankly at her, seeing only the possibility of another host, nothing more. No compassion, no love, no mercy.

She tried to muster the strength to raise her sword to him, for the sake of her kingdom. She pulled on all her years of training, training that she’d gone through day after day, side by side with the three men that she would ultimately marry.

And now… Her sword fell from her hand and into a crevice of the cave floor. Gasping in shock, she looked at the unattainable sword and back at the shell of her husband.

A red line suddenly appeared across his neck and his murderous eyes narrowed in confusion. The red blood drizzled down from the line, and Jade fought to understand what had happened until she saw Rodan step out from behind Nero.

Seconds later, Nero’s head tumbled off his shoulders, the look of bewilderment still in his demonic eyes, and fell to the cave floor where it rolled into a puddle. The deteriorating remains of his body fell a few seconds later.

Rodan, The King of Rose Cliff looked at the fallen king then back at Jade with tears in his eyes.

  “Forgive me, my queen, but…”

“I know, Rodan. Of course, I know,” Queen Jade said through her sobs. “There was no other choice. You had no choice.”

“Nero was like a brother to me.”

“And he thought of you as a brother as well. He loved you, Rodan.”

He nodded. “That makes accepting what I had to do all the more difficult.”

“You saved me, Rodan. At a time when I should have shown myself strong, I proved weak, and you saved me.”

He put his hands to her shoulders. “You did not prove weak. You proved compassionate and caring.”

Queen Jade looked down at his feet, unable to breath in the toxic sulfur that was now his breath. He, too, was infected. How much time before he was too far gone?

“I know the caring and loving woman you are, so, when the time comes, you need not show your compassion for me. I beg you. Be swift in putting an end to me.”

He pulled out his sword. Encrusted with rose colored rubies to represent his kingdom Rose Cliff, and emeralds to represent hers, the exquisitely crafted silver sword had been a wedding gift.

“Take it,” he said. “And when the time comes, use it. Don’t hesitate.”

Shaking her head, she pulled back. “Rodan, I can’t.”

At the sound of shuffling footsteps, he looked over his shoulder and back at her. “Jade, they’re coming. Take the sword. Give me time to fight them off as long as I can. But then…”

Her eyes filled with fresh tears as she looked up at him. Yet, through the tragedy that was their end, he managed to smile.

“Remember, I was there when we went through training. I know what you’re capable of.” He swung his hand in the air and smiled. “One fell swoop.”

How could he smile at a time like this? she wondered. But then again, that was who he was. It was who he’d always been, kind and jovial, quick with a laugh, and eager to play.

He leaned in close, his toxic breath unbearable. “For the sake of all Wyvern, save yourself, Jade.” He kissed her, all his tenderness coming through the murderous control of the parasite inside him. “Take it, my love.” He held the sword out to her.

She knew he was right and reluctantly took the sword, but leaned in for another, last kiss. Despite the sulfuric breath, she needed to touch him again.

“Think of all Wyvern. Think of your people. They need you, Jade,” he said softly, running his curled fingers through her hair.

Suddenly, Granite, the third of her husbands, grabbed the Roses and Emeralds sword from her hand. Jade gasped and her heart tightened, but before she could move a muscle, Granite, the King of Metal, deftly decapitated himself. His head and body fell together over Nero.

“No,” Jade cried out as she fell to her knees. “Not Granite.”

Rodan looked down at another of his fallen friends and shed a few tears before looking back to Jade and helping her up. “I hate the thought of leaving you alone. I thought Granite had been spared, but now… Oh, Jade, were it up to me, I would stay and fend off all the ugly creatures that threaten to take over you, to take over Wyvern, forever.”

She could see the pain and longing in his eyes. What a horrible way for their lives together to end; their short lives.

He leaned in to kiss her again, but this time it was too much. The toxins were stronger, bordering on deadly. A small breath from him and she felt lightheaded.

“I can’t stand the thought of never kissing you again, my angel. You are the love of my life, Jade. Remember that. Always remember that.”

Jade looked over his shoulder. A fresh horde of monsters were making their way toward them. The true battle was upon them.

“Ready?” Rodan said. “Remember, they are heartless.”

“I’m ready,” Jade said. She closed her eyes, took a step back and shifted into dragon form. The magnificent green of her enormous wings played off the glow of rainbow stripes that ran down the center of her back. And for a split second, the monsters stopped to assess this new prey, before resuming their approach.

Jade blew flames at them, majestic flames of deep greens that quickly turned to multicolored flames. Three monsters quickly crumbled to nothing, leaving the path open for the five creatures behind them.

For hours, she fought them, flaming them to dust, and yet they continued to come. As the Queen of Wyvern, she was the strongest of the dragons, and yet the non-stop fighting was tiring and increasingly difficult.

Rodan, as promised, stayed at her side, fighting. The night wore on, and still they fought, and as the sun crept through the cracks and crevices of the cave, they fought on, and on.

She killed them for Granite, for Nero and for what was to come for Rodan.

On the third day of fighting, they’d managed to push their way out of the cave, fending the monsters off with efficiency. And it finally proved too much for the monsters that deserted the fight and the will to kill the queen of Wyvern.

Jade and Rodan stood at the opening of the cave, high in the mountains that overlooked the kingdom. Sweating, smeared with dirt and exhausted, they looked at each other.

“I knew they’d eventually get tired and run away,” Rodan said with a chuckle.

“Did you now?” Jade said with a tired smile. She brought her weary gaze to the horizon, watching the raging monsters make their way across the land. “They’re heading for The Borders.”

  Rodan nodded.

“Fly with me,” she said. “We must help them. The fight continues.”

He nodded. “Yes, the fight continues.” Then he shook his head. “But I do not trust myself in dragon form.”

“Then ride with me, my husband.” She lowered her head to allow him to climb on.

Again, he shook his head. “It leaves you too vulnerable a position. I think you’ll need to carry me in your clutches.”

She raised a naughty eyebrow. “I thought you’d never ask.”

They flew to The Borders and while the humans there were putting up a good fight, the added helping hand was welcomed. With minimal casualties, the monsters were finally defeated.

“Queen Jade,” the mayor of The Borders said when all was done. “We greatly appreciate the help you’ve brought to our humble land.”

She nodded, pleased with her decision to help them. “Our lands may not have always been at peace, may not have always seen eye to eye, but it is clear; we must join forces to keep those creatures at bay.”
/>
  The mayor nodded.

“I propose a Peace Pact between The Border and Wyvern.”

Smiling, the mayor bowed before the queen.

Only days after the signing of the Peace Pact, Rodan went off on his own. His infection was known by all in the land, and all were concerned with his increasingly aggressive ways.

“It’s time,” Queen Jade told herself. She looked to the heavens, looking for the strength she knew she’d need to do this final act.

She found him, at the entrance to the same cave where they’d fought side by side. His eyes were no longer his own, his distorted mouth no longer smiled. With tears in her eyes, she swept down on him, his silver sword in her hand. Closing her eyes as she neared him, she carried out the final promise she’d made to him.

“Sleep well, my love. Sleep well.”

“But now,” she said as she flew back to her home, “I shall reign solely over Emerald. No longer will I be Queen of Wyvern.”

  Chapter 1

  Ally

Ally rubbed her eyes and groaned as she struggled to awaken. She cracked her eyelids open and a blurry image of golden curtains stripe in rich greens appeared before her. She closed her heavy lids and tried to open them again. The gold and green silk curtains hung before tall windows that overlooked a vast green lawn.
