Pretty Fly for a White Guy: The Complete Series Collection Page 5

I pulled his dick from his pants and smiled at its pulsating length before I swirled my tongue around the tip and took him deep into my mouth. His leaned his head back as his hand explored the sensitive folds under my skirt and inside of my panties. My body began to vibrate underneath his touch and I widened my legs to give him better access.

His finger inside of me mimicked the movements of my mouth as I took him in and out. Each time I swirled my tongue around his head he removed his finger and rubbed my clit. When I took him deep into my mouth he plunged his fingers inside of my warmth. I began to do to him, what I needed him to do to me. I had plans to draw our experience out but I couldn’t stop. The urge to cum was too great and his hands were working wonders.

We both came on my couch. He released inside of my mouth and I came all over his two fingers that were deep inside of me. Sex doesn’t have to be a full on production if you know how to do it correctly.

  “To the shower?” I asked.

“After you babe,” he said as he pulled his fingers from inside of me.

  “Hi pot, it’s me kettle”

  Amelia

I love it when I have the opportunity to be at events with my friends.

Sometimes our schedules just don’t allow us to be that fortunate. Everything is a lot more entertaining when they’re in attendance. Patrice loves networking events because everyone is a potential client for her. She’s a popular personal stylist and people take her word as law.

One scowl from her will make a designer change the direction of their entire collection. She has a wonderful personality when you get to know her but she’s known for being an opinionated hard ass. I’m just happy that I’m her friend because being on her bad side isn’t a place where anyone wants to be. When Amelia slept with Jasmine’s man, it was Patrice that pretty much had her blackballed from our fashion community.

Amelia is still a successful fashion writer but it took her a while to work her way back into the good graces of designers and publications. No one wanted to cross Patrice and they only worked with her because it seemed that Patrice no longer cared about Amelia any more. Usually I’m the peace maker but I couldn’t advocate for Amelia when she’d betrayed our trust the way that she did. I felt a lot better about my decision to not take up for her when she began to date Kenneth.

Some people may think that she dated Kenneth because of how we treated her. I believe that she did it because she’s a whore. She was probably flirting with him the entire time that we were together. I can’t expect a woman like her to adhere to the girl code.

“Don’t freak out but Kenneth is here,” Jasmine whispered into my ear.

My hands began to shake as I reached for a glass of champagne. I don’t know why he had the ability to make me nervous even though I turned him down. He should be the one shaking every time he comes into a room that I’m in. I straighten up my spine and prepare to see him and Amelia together. I tell myself that I’m not going to flee the way that I did last time. On this night, I had my friends with me and they are all that I needed.

“Thanks for letting me know girl, the last thing I needed to be was surprised by him and that bitch,” I said.

“He’s alone,” Patrice said, “She’s not with him.”

“I think he’s coming over here,” Jasmine whispered.

Damn, what in the hell does he want with me? He usually ignores me in public these days and now he’s coming over to speak to me. I wasn’t in the mood for his bullshit, especially when everyone was staring at us. I could feel everyone’s prying eyes on us both, and I know that they were hoping for a public spectacle. I’m way too classy for something like that and honestly, he is too.

I finally got up the courage to look up from the food spread, when I turned around he was directly in front of me.

“Hey Nicole,” he said with a grin, “Hello ladies,” he acknowledged both of my friends.

“Hi Ken,” they both said in unison.

Really? They both sound like star struck teenagers. I know that Ken was pretty fly for a white guy but he was not Brad Pitt! There was no way that I could expect proper back up from both of my friends when they were obviously underneath his spell, unlike me. Even Patrice had a little twinkle in her eye. What a duo of traitors. I gave the both of them the evil side eye before I spoke.

“Hello Kenneth,” I said through clenched teeth.

“Aww, you don’t look happy to see me, you’re breaking my heart,” he said as he placed his hand over his heart faking a heart attack.

“Well can you blame me? I never know what to expect when it comes to you. You’re full of surprises.”

“Ladies, would you mind excusing me and Nicole for a minute?” He asked the both of them with his million dollar smile.

“Of course,” Jasmine said, “We have to go mix and mingle anyway.”

“We definitely do. I have to go tell a group of women that they are in dire need of my services,” Patrice added in as they walked away.

I cut my eyes at Patrice and she mouthed, “I’m sorry girl,” to me.

She wasn’t as sorry as she was going to be. He played the both of them like a fiddle and it irritated me. Kenneth always seemed to have people wrapped around his finger; it’s a part of his charm. There is just something about him that makes you want to ensure he’s satisfied. Good thing he does not have that effect on me, not anymore anyway.

“Now that you have gotten rid of my friends, what do you want?”

“I just wanted to speak to you without them being around. What are you doing tomorrow night? I want to see you.”

“I have a date with Joshua tomorrow; he’s taking me to play pool if you must know. I already told you that I’m not interested and that I’m moving forward with Josh. We don’t exist any more and it’s time that you realized that.”

He gave me a look that I couldn’t exactly pinpoint but it seemed like I’d hurt him. He quickly recovered and I was disappointed that his true feelings were hidden again underneath his cool resolve. He was always sexier to me when he was vulnerable. Other people saw the alpha male all the time but I got the opportunity to see what was underneath all of that. I’m sure that’s why he pushed me away all the time.

Whenever we would get too close for his personal comfort, he would do something that would upset me. He would flirt with other women, probably sleep with them, or tell me that he needed space. One thing that made me feel special was that he always came back to me and made me feel like his number one. I would push aside my hurt and happily embrace him but I couldn’t bring myself to do it this time. I could no longer be his sanctuary. It doesn’t matter why he hurt me, it only matters that he did.

“Well, I had to try again,” he said as I started to walk away. “Oh, and it would be nice if you answered my text messages when I send them. I’ve never taken you to be a rude woman.”

I turned around, “The only one being rude is YOU. Enjoy your night.”

The next afternoon, I went to Café Sunflower in Buckhead. It’s one of my favorite places to go for lunch. I was there early and one of my clients would be there in a half hour. I decided to treat myself to desert first. Their vegan chocolate raspberry mousse cake was heavenly and my mouth began to water when the waitress walked away to grab me a piece. This cake is worth putting weight on for, believe me!

I sat facing the door so that I could see my client as she walked in. The waitress brought me my slice of cake and I couldn’t wait to delve in. Just as I brought the first bite to my lips Amelia walked through the door. I didn’t feel like being bothered with her today and she’s not the type of woman that will just do the polite thing and ignore you. Once she spotted me she made a beeline for my table and she took a seat.

“Hey Nikki, long time no see,” she smiled.

“Hi Amelia,” I said in a clipped tone.

  “Eating all alone?”

“I’m waiting on a client, what do you want?”

>   “It’s been a while since we talked and I haven’t seen you since you stormed out of that event. I’m sorry that you had to find out about me and Kenneth that way. I told him to tell you but you already know how he is,” she laughed.

I stared at her in disbelief. Not only was she fucking my ex but she was sitting in my face and bragging to me about it.

“He’s definitely head strong, and he does what he wants without regard for anybody’s feelings.

He sounds a lot like another person that I know,” I said as I stared at her blankly, but in my mind I had already stabbed her with my fork twice.

“I didn’t think that you would care if I dated him. It’s been over a year since the two of you have been together. I figured that you would be over him.”

“So you decided that being under my ex was a good idea?”

“Don’t be so crass Nikki, I would expect more from you.”

“Are you serious right now? You are sleeping with my ex and you want me to be civil towards you? I thought that you were better than that. I didn’t think that you would do something like this again, especially after what happened with you and Jasmine.”

“You don’t know anything about what happened with that situation, so you need to just mind your own business. I genuinely liked him and didn’t want things to happen that way,” she said as her voice cracked.

I had finally gotten under her skin. No woman wants to be labeled as whore. I thought that I should let her know about Kenneth’s texts to me just to wipe the smugness off of her face. She would just die if she knew that he didn’t really care about her. She was the kind of woman that needed to be the centre of a man’s world, even when he doesn’t belong to her.

I used to feel sorry for her because of the environment that she grew up in. She was raised by her grandmother, her father was non-existent, and her mom was strung out somewhere. It had to really suck to grow up the way that she did. The hurt and pain that she must have felt growing up had to have a huge impact on the woman that she was now. Growing up without the love of her parents could have caused her to seek it elsewhere. Even though she had our group’s love, it wasn’t enough for her. Her jealousy drove her to go after Jasmine’s man and she got him but now it seems like she is working her way around all the men in Atlanta.

“Are you happy Amelia?” I asked.

“What do you mean am I happy? Am I happy with Kenneth? If that’s what you’re asking, yes I am extremely happy.”

“I guess that’s a part of what I mean. But what I really mean is, are you happy being the way that you are? If I lived your life, I would be miserable. You don’t have any real friends, and a man that you had to scavenge,” I said with genuine concern.

“I love my life. I have a wonderful career that you and your friends tried to ruin and I have a great man that loves me. I have it all, and I wouldn’t expect such harsh judgment coming from you. Aren’t you having sex with Kenneth’s best friend? Hi pot, it’s me kettle.”

I guess I can’t blame her for taking it there. She had a small point but what she and I did were two completely different things. I didn’t go behind anyone’s back or betray the trust of those that were closest to me. She was feeling backed into a corner so she was starting to grasp at anything that she could.

I smiled, “Come on now, you know that those two situations were completely different. You’re loose but you’re not stupid.”

“There goes that ghetto behavior again Nikki, it’s no wonder why Kenneth decided to upgrade. Did you really think he would ever marry a black girl? Get real!”

I was dumbstruck and realized I had to quickly remove myself from this situation before it got ugly.

“As much as I would love to continue this mundane tit for tat conversation, I actually have to work. Are you going to leave or should I just go to another table?”

“No need for you to strain yourself, I’ll be going. I’m sure that I will see you around soon,” she said as she rose from my table. She was leaving right on time because my client had just entered the café.

I had less than a minute to shake off the remnants of the conversation and to get into work mode. I wasn’t sure if I was more upset about Amelia’s invasion or about the fact that I didn’t get to dive into my piece of cake. It looked so good but it would have to wait for me to fully enjoy it.

  Damn that bitch.

  #Chapter6

  “Take that asshole”

  Nicole

My day was longer than I expected. I wanted to go home and relax for a little bit before I went out with Joshua. I needed a little bit of time to unwind before I saw him. He had been texting me all day and it was actually starting to annoy me. In the beginning it was a lot of fun because we were starting to get to know each other in a romantic capacity. Now, it was becoming a nuisance because I couldn’t answer them as fast as he would like. It’s a miracle that’s he’s able to get any work done with the way that he texts and calls.

I still appreciate how attentive he is because it’s a much needed change. However, I can’t deny that I still need my own personal space. I don’t want to call and text someone all day and then see them when I get home. Then there is nothing to talk about because you’ve spoken to them throughout the day.

I arrived at the pool hall about 20 minutes later than I was supposed to, it took me longer to get out of the door than I expected. When I walked in he was sitting at the bar and he looked pretty upset. I was hoping that his annoyance wasn’t geared towards me because I didn’t want to deal with an attitude especially after the earlier events. I walked over, kissed him on the cheek, and took a seat next to him.

  “Hey babe,” I smiled brightly.

“Hi,” he said without looking at me before he took another swallow of his drink.

Okay I guess he was mad. I ordered my drink and decided to confront the issue head on so that we could get on with our night.

“You seem pretty upset, what’s wrong?”

“First you pushed back the time that we were supposed to meet, then you wouldn’t let me pick you up, and now you arrive late. It all just seems very.... suspicious,” he said.

I was taken aback by his accusation. So I sat in silence and watched as the bar tender prepared my Long Island. When he handed it to me I ignored the straw and took a big long gulp. This seemed like it was going to be a long night. I was used to dealing with crap from men and this was my least favorite. I hadn’t even given any reason to be jealous or to act this way.

He and I were speaking to each other all day, so when would I have to time to do any kind of suspicious activity?

My earlier annoyance with him had returned and I just wanted to go home. The conversation with Amelia was also still playing on my mind. I didn’t want to ruin our night by meeting anger with anger so I decided to try to talk him down from the paranoid ledge that he was on.

“Suspicious? Babe I haven’t done anything wrong. I’m sorry for arriving late but you already know how I am. I have time issues and I wanted to look good for you, but I see that you aren’t appreciative of all of this,” I grinned. “I took the time to squeeze myself into these jeans for you, that way you can get a good look at my ass as I bend over the pool table.”

His resolve began to soften and he looked at me in the eyes. He looked very intense and vulnerable and it broke my heart a little. There had to be something else going on with him, because this behavior wasn’t something that I was used to. Kenneth never once complained if I was late.

“You do look pretty good, but I really don’t like it when you cancel or push back our plans. It makes me wonder what you’ve been doing and it makes it seem like you don’t care or respect me.”

“I understand where you’re coming from with that. But my job keeps me really busy and sometimes I need to unwind. I’m here tonight with you and I hope that our night isn’t ruined because of this. I’ve been looking forward to whipping your ass in pool,” I say as I stand up to

  get us a pool ta
ble.

He and I had a good time as we played a couple of games of pool. I was right in my assessment because I was winning the games. I played a lot of pool in college, the pool hall was my escape and I made a lot of money that way. I always loved when new and unsuspecting men walked through the door. I would play halfway decent, keep the drinks flowing, and flirtatiously bet money on a game. They almost always took the bait.

“I think I’m playing pool with a shark,” he said jokingly.

“You should have asked me bro, I would have told you that she was a pool master,” I heard a voice that I recognized say behind me. I turned around and saw Kenneth. Oh gosh.

“Hey! What are you doing here?” Joshua said excitedly as he walked around the pool table to greet Kenneth.

Kenneth wasn’t ceasing to amaze me at this point. I felt like my head was going to explode because he and Amelia were driving me nuts. What in the world was he doing here at the pool hall. I immediately began to think about my words to him at the event, I remember letting him know that we were going to shoot pool. Big mistake Nicole!
