Broken Pieces (The Broken Series Book 4)

“Holy shit! Riley?” I gasped. I guess I should have said yes all those times my mom invited me to come along. If I’d known that the skinny little girl that I used to pick on would grow into this, I wouldn’t have said no so much. When I got to be about thirteen, hanging out with your mom wasn’t cool. I’d always found other things to do. Riley and I didn’t see each other much after that. We didn’t go to school together, and Wes began doing more from home.
“The one and only,” she laughed as she finished texting and turned to leave. “See ya around, Caleb.” She waved as she slipped out the door.
This summer might be better than I thought it was going be. Only time would tell.

Where do I start? There are so many people that have helped me along the way. This series has had a very special place in my heart since the beginning. When I introduced Cole and Maddie to the book world I was truly worried that the storyline would be too heavy. You, the readers, loved it though and have made this series my bestselling series to date. Each character has been loved, and when Ally first appeared in My Broken Angel, I knew she needed her own book. Everyone loves the feisty best friend.
So to my best friend and “sister from another mister” Angie… I don’t have words to explain what your friendship and support means to me. I can’t remember the last time I bonded with someone this tightly. You’re there no matter what, and put up with more than most people are willing. Late night chats, delayed flights to signings across the country, crappy hotels, overpriced food, and horrible weather. We’ve done it all. You are ‘my people’ and I look forward to where the future takes us.
To Melinda, the third member of our musketeer crew. How you put up with our antics is beyond me. The late night chats until 4am, the constant jokes of who is ‘cool’ and who isn’t, the teasing over arcs and beta reading. You roll with the punches like no other. Photo, helping proof a raw copy, or just telling me to calm down… it’s all appreciated more than you think.
To my “Cool Kids” group… you know who you are. Thank you for all you do. Whether it’s weighing in on a cover
To Kellie, my kick ass ‘PR person’ and all around bad ass friend. Meeting you in Houston was awesome. The daily tweets, post, and general pimping is appreciated more than you know. I love being an Eye Candy Author and can’t wait for what the future holds.
To my awesome editor Rebecca… Thank you for your speedy editing skills, and for loving my characters as much as I do.
To Kelsey, one of the most patient and hardworking photogs I know… Thank you for putting in 110% on this cover shoot. It took us awhile, but I think it turned out amazing. Your dedication to your craft shows, and I appreciate all the work and time you put into this shoot despite all the setbacks we had.
Thank you to all the blogs that have posted, pimped, tweeted, and mentioned Broken Pieces. This book would not be nearly as successful as it has been without you. I appreciate everything you do.
Last but not least… Thank you Readers!!! Thank you for loving these characters as much as I do. Thank you for waiting patiently for Ally’s story. I hope it was everything you wanted it to be, and I hope the conclusion to this series is what you were looking for. Before you even ask… Yes, I’m looking at writing a spinoff for Caleb and Riley. No, I don’t have a timeline for that yet.
