She looked at his face. “I’m so confused, too. I don’t know who you are.”
“I can only be me.”
“But I’ve seen so many different parts of you. I…don’t know which one you truly are.”
“I understand. But you like me?”
“I don’t know.”
“Tell me. Tell me honestly what you think of me.”
“Honestly?”
He nodded.
“You infuriate me. You can be so obnoxious yet even then I can't help it. Even when we first met and you were so horrid, I was attracted to you. Then yesterday and today, I saw a different man, one I really like. I’ve seen so many different versions of you in such a short time. I…hell I don’t know.”
“Well, that was honest.” He laughed. “I did ask for it.”
She looked frightened, and he gave her a tiny kiss. “Don’t look so worried. This is new for us both. I guess we just see what happens.”
She nodded. He tried to sit comfortably, but his cock was making it so damn difficult. She guessed his discomfort and grinned.
“I don’t have any condoms,” he lamented.
“Oh!” She was trying to hold back her laughter.
“Are you laughing?”
“No.” But she spoilt it by laughing aloud.
“Damn you! Kallie, if we do this we do it as Dom and sub. I can't do it any other way. I don’t know how to do it any other way. It means you get punished for misbehaving.” Then he said earnestly, “But I promise I’ll look after you.”
“I understand. I’ve been a sub all my adult life, like you I can’t be anything else but who I am.”
“We need to talk about your limits, your wants.”
She nodded.
“Fuck, Kallie! No, I can’t do this!”
Shaking his head, he stood. He tried to rearrange himself and caught the look on her face as he sat back down. She still looked worried.
“No. It’s this…it’s bloody uncomfortable.”
She looked relieved, tried not to laugh again. Alex was delighted and almost overwhelmed by the fact she was giving him a chance.
No, wrong—he felt exhilarated!
His heart was singing. Kallie had been all he could think about. He knew he didn’t deserve this chance. He realised he was damn lucky after the stupid way he behaved when he first met her. He’d have to be on his best behaviour if he had any chance with this wonderful woman. He definitely understood the very shaky ground he stood on.
But damn it, if she kept laughing, he’d have no choice but to punish her. She was still grinning when he looked at her. She put a hand across her mouth, pushing it against her lips as she tried to smother it.
That was it!
He grabbed her and pulled her over his knees. She squealed. He smacked her bottom. He smacked it until it there were lovely shades of pink and red blooming on it. He smacked it until he could see the imprint of his hand on each cheek. He smacked it until he could hear her breathing hard and feel her fingers grabbing tightly on his leg. He smacked her until when he ran a finger between her legs, his finger came away almost dripping from her juices.
Damn her, damn her! She’s going to be mine always!
Startled at the depth of his feelings he bit down hard on one rosy cheek. She flinched and screamed. He looked at the bite. It would definitely bruise. He’d marked her, and he loved it.
His cock was pressing against her stomach. Fuck it! He pulled her off his knee and made her lie on her back. He practically tore off his clothes.
“Hold your tits!” He demanded. I can’t fuck her cunt but can fuck those delightful tits until I come!
When she complied, he began to fuck them, grunting as he pumped. She held her breasts tightly together. He saw her lick her lips each time the head of his dick came close to her mouth. He wanted to ram it down her throat, but he stopped himself. He would have to be satisfied with her breasts.
So close!
A few more pumps and he could feel himself ready to spill. He pulled back and held his cock, letting his cum spurt across her tits and her stomach, shouting joyfully as he came. He collapsed onto the bed and then tried to roll off, realising it had no covering. He managed to get to his feet and grabbed Kallie. He pulled her upright then almost dragged her into the bathroom, turning on the shower. He put her into it and then returned to the kitchen.
Picking up the towels and the floor cloth, he walked back into the bathroom. Earlier they’d put soap, shampoo and conditioner onto the cabinet. He picked them up and entered the shower. Standing there letting the warm water run over her body Kallie look so perfect.
Alex turned her to face him and proceeded to wash her all over. Then he decided to wash her hair. It felt good. He couldn’t remember ever washing his subs normally they would shower while he waited in his bedroom or on the balcony. But this felt good it felt different, so intimate and so caring. He wanted it to last.
Determined to show her the good side of him Alex treated her like a piece of precious porcelain. When he’d finished he turned the water off and stepped out of the shower. He picked up a towel and wrapped her in it.
“I was right. You do look lost in it.”
She gave a shy grin. He finished drying her and then wrapped the towel around his own waist. They both walked out into the bedroom. Kallie quickly pulled on her jeans and T-shirt, not bothering with her underwear. He took one of her hands between both of his.
“Thank you, Kallie. Thank you for giving me this chance.”
“I want it, too.”
“I’m very glad. I don’t deserve this chance, but I promise to try hard to please you.”
She looked a little embarrassed and confused by what had just happened between them and a little unsure what to do next.
“Would you like a coffee, Alex?”
“Thanks, I would.”
She left the room, and Alex pulled on his jeans. He picked up his shirt and then threw it on the bed. Not bothering with his shoes, he walked out into the kitchen. Kallie was standing by the bench and waiting for the kettle to boil, turned to him as he entered.
“Instant still. I have to buy a coffee machine.” She looked around the kitchen. “Actually there’s a lot of things I need to buy but the first thing has to be a car.”
“That’s right. Dan said that. Hang on.”
He rummaged in his wallet and pulled out a tattered card. “This is a friend of mine. He owns a Jeep franchise. He gave me a good price when I bought mine.”
He handed her the card. She read the name—Derek Case. “Wonder if he has anything suitable available for immediate delivery. I really don’t want to be without one for too long. I can’t expect others to drive me around.”
“I don’t mind.”
She looked at him, obviously bewildered. She looked as if she just wasn’t sure who he was, which version of him she was with. The funny thing was he didn’t know either.
“Honestly I don’t.”
“Still I need one, Alex. I have to be able to go to work, to get out.”
“What if I give him a call? What exactly do you want?”
“Something reliable, new, four-wheel drive because of the area. When it rains it’s impossible to get down through the track in a sedan.”
Alex looked awkward. “Er…I’m not prying, but how much do you want to spend? I mean the cheapest of the range, you know or something higher.”
She gave him a genuine smile, and Alex thought he could get used to seeing them. It was as if they erupted on her face, and it gave him such a thrill to know it was for him.
“I'm not short for cash, if that’s what you mean. I don’t really have to work, but I like doing it.”
“Sounds like me.”
“Anyway I actually own 65 percent of the company. So whatever car suits my needs. Price is not important.”
“Okay. Would you like me to ring him and see if he had anything available?”
“Yes, please.”
Alex
pulled out his phone and read the number over Kallie’s shoulder. He wandered out onto the deck and spoke with his friend. Ten minutes later he came back in and had a mouthful of his coffee.
“First question, can you drive a manual?”
“Hell yeah!”
“Okay, he’s got four cars on the lot at the moment, and they’d all suit. There’s two Jeep Wrangler Rubicons and two Jeep Cherokees—a Laredo and a Summit.”
Kallie grinned at him, and again he felt all warm and fuzzy as she replied, “I’m none the wiser.”
“Well mine’s a Cherokee Summit. A Laredo is the cheaper version. The Rubicons look like traditional Jeeps. Of the two Rubicons he has, one is a soft top while the other is hard.”
“I guess I’d need to look at them and take them for a test drive.”
“Smart woman. Tell me no and I won’t be offended, but what if I pick you up in the morning and we go look at them.”
“Okay.”
Alex was elated. He wanted to leap about and shout madly. He thought she was beginning to accept him. He felt optimistic. Of course, it was early days, they’d only just began this tenuous relationship, but all the same. He finished off his coffee.
“I think I should leave you now. You need some time to yourself, time to sort through your home and time to sort through what’s happened.” He took one of Kallie’s hands between his. “I’ve…I really have had a wonderful time with you these past few days.”
“Thank you, Alex. Thank you for everything. We got off on the wrong foot. Maybe there’s hope.”
He dropped her hand, put his mug in the sink, and then walked back into the bedroom to pull on his shirt and shoes. He walked back out. Kallie put down her mug and followed him to the front door. He opened it and then turned back to her.
“May I kiss you good-bye?”
In answer she raised her face. Alex bent down and cupped her face between his hands. He tried to keep the kiss sweet and gentle until she lifted one hand and pulled his head down harder. They wrestled tongues, and when they separated she looked flushed. Alex knew he did, too. His face felt so hot.
“I'll see you around eleven. Bye, Kallie. Thank you.”
She stood watching as he drove down the track leading to the main road. He saw her in the rearview mirror, a dwindling figure until the track curved, and he lost sight of her.
“Kallie,” he said and laughed.
Chapter Eleven
Kallie watched as Alex’s car disappeared up the track. Totally confused, she had no idea what to think with everything in her mind upside down and inside out. Yesterday Alex had been a completely different person. Actually it had started the night before when he’d turned up at Stacy’s. The way he came alive when he spoke about his trip and the polar bears. She wanted to race out and book a trip to see them. He was interesting and funny.
He was nice!
Then yesterday she didn’t know what she would have done if the company had refused to come and fix the kitchen countertop. He’d been so helpful. He’d even sheltered her from Dan and Stacy giving her time to wash her face and compose herself.
Kallie got her first real taste of his magnetism, though, at dinner. When he’d trapped her leg between his then released it. She was sure she had actually begun to get wet. Still he’d remained the absolute gentleman, taking her shopping and then to his home. Even when he’d carried her upstairs and put her to bed, he’d not taken advantage of her at all.
But today—today it all went crazy!
If she hadn’t of lost that damn earring, she wouldn’t have been on her knees, wouldn’t have seen the look on his face, and wouldn’t have reacted the way she did. She just couldn’t help herself. It seemed the natural thing to do kneeling before him. She’d dreamed of being on her knees in front of him, and she was!
But it was amazing!
It became so obvious to them both when she’d looked up and seen him staring down at her on her knees—she a sub before her Dom. She just automatically adopted the position. When he ordered her to stand, she couldn’t resist. No that was wrong. She honestly didn’t want to resist.
But even then he’d given her a way out. He had offered to leave but by then she was so turned on, so excited that she would have cried in despair if he’d left.
Then, oh heavens, then he’d played her, coaxing out her orgasms and giving her a little taste of what she could expect from him. She had no doubts. This wouldn’t be as easy, as simple as it had been, but—wow—it had been worth it!
She’d almost come without him touching her when he stripped off. That man was hot with a capital H! His body was taut and so well defined. He had no fat, just muscle. Kallie had wanted to trace each ab, each muscle. She had wanted to kiss a trail following the dusting of light hair across his chest, follow as it led downward, getting thicker and darker. Follow that V until it reached his cock.
And what a cock! It rose magnificently to greet her. She wanted to wrap her mouth around it when he fucked her boobs. And his kisses! Oh wow, those were out of this world. The man certainly knew how to kiss and how to get the most from a woman’s body. Even the gentle way he’d washed her was a turn on. Kallie was honest enough to admit that no other man had ever excited her the way he did. Still the fact remained Alex had steeled his heart. This man refused to become emotionally involved with a woman and confessed he never had. Could she afford to take a risk with him?
Alex had admitted he didn’t know how to act around her. He’d even acknowledged he felt lost around her and found her hard to resist. Did that mean that he was prepared to get emotionally involved with her? But then he’d also told her that if they did have a relationship, it would be as Dom and sub, and Alex had an emotionless view about that pairing.
The very real danger, she knew, would be if she fell in love with him. If she did and he had kept his emotions frozen then the very real probability would be he would turn from her when he realised the depth of her feelings. Kallie was no fool to think she wouldn’t fall. He’d already begun weaving his magic around her.
Lately Kallie had been feeling alone and realised it was time to get back into life. For the last three years Kallie had avoided all entanglements. During the last year of Peter’s illness, he had been too sick to do anything but try to survive. So she’d had an enforced celibacy, one year with Peter and then the following three years. It had been relatively easy to start with, she been mourning and then working. But the last twelve or fourteen months had been difficult. She had the normal sexual appetites of a normal woman. Thank goodness for Hitachi!
Alex hadn’t looked at her as if she were a freak when she’d told him she hadn’t been with a man for four years. Instead, he allowed her to come whenever she wanted. Kallie knew she wouldn’t have been able to hold off if he’d demanded it, and she so wanted to please him.
So now she had some hard thinking to do. Should she just say thank you tomorrow and tell him she no longer wanted to see him, or should she take the risk?
Risk?
In the back of her mind she knew what she wanted. She wanted to risk everything on the chance she would be the one woman who could thaw his heart. She wanted to be the woman who he fell head over heels in love with. She wanted to be his completely.
Kallie gave a wry laugh. How many other subs had gone into a relationship with him thinking the exact same thing? From the way that woman had acted when he saw Kallie with Alex at the restaurant, she guessed it was probably every one. Still Kallie tried to kid herself into thinking she had an advantage. He had admitted she intrigued him. What had he said?
Yes, that she’d bewitched him. He’d told her he had never before felt the way he did. She thought he was telling her the truth because Stacy had told her his actions around her were different to the way he normally behaved around subs. Maybe she could just try things for a little while and see what happened. It was obvious they were both in for some new territory. She just hoped it would all work out.
She walked into the dini
ng room where some boxes still stood as well as some of the shopping. Kallie searched and found the sheets she’d bought last night. She’d wash them and get them on the line. They’d be dry by tonight.
Going into the office, she was pleased her to see someone had put all the boxes marked “books” in here. One wall was filled with bookshelves. She’d be able to fill them later.
What to do next?
Kallie realised she hadn’t eaten since breakfast and was hungry. She opened the fridge and then the pantry. Marie had been great with the shopping. There were all the basics she’d need plus a selection of fresh vegetables and fruit along with milk, eggs, cheese, bread, and butter. She made herself a couple of cheese sandwiches. Rummaging through the pantry she found that Marie had bought pickles, too, so she added them to the bread. She took her sandwiches outside and sat, her feet up on the rickety old seat in front of her. The old outdoor furniture was pretty bad. She’d have to buy something new.
It felt so unbelievably good to be home. She’d missed it so much all the years she’d been away. Through the week, she’d get the sound equipment delivered and the rest of her clothing that had been sent on to store.
She looked across the yard. The empty kennel was looking at her begging to be filled. Yes, she’d definitely look for another dog. She missed the companionship as well as the security. Kallie suddenly realised she was trying to keep busy so didn’t she have to think about Alex. She guessed he was right. They’d just have to see what happens.
Kallie took the dry linen off the line and put another load on. Making another coffee, she took it into the study and sat on the floor. She’d start putting her books on the shelves.
A few hours later cramped and tired she stood and stretched. At least she had only one more box to go and then books were all away. She got stuck into it and finally gave a sigh of satisfaction when she saw them all out on the shelves.
