“It hurts.”
“Thank you.”
“I think we should go inside.”
“No! No I don’t want to stop.”
“Let’s compromise.”
Kallie cocked her head and looked at Alex.
“Go and lay on the bed.”
She walked from the playroom and lay down. A moment or two later Alex walked in. He had his hands behind his back and a devilish glint in his eyes.
“Close your eyes. Legs apart.”
She obeyed and heard him fiddling with something and then the buzz of a Hitachi. Before she could take a breath he held it to her clit and fiddled with the settings until he found one he liked.
“Open your eyes.”
Kallie had grabbed the bed covers with both hands. She had fisted them as he pressed the wand harder against her. It felt like only a minute before an orgasm raised its head and shook her. She cried with joy as it pulsated through her, but Alex wasn’t finished. He still held the magic wand to her clit.
She tried to squirm away from it, but he smacked her good leg until she kept still. The look on his face convinced her he had decided to punish her by orgasm. He pushed a finger deep into her and then rubbed her juices back and forth. The whole time he kept the wand pressed tight, occasionally moving it slightly. She felt his thumb press against her anus.
Another orgasm rocked her as she felt his thumb push in. His thrusting his thumb in and out and the wand working its magic became too much for Kallie. As she felt the start of another climax tingling she began to float. Hazily she looked at Alex. He had a maniacal expression on his face as he watched her caught in the throngs of yet another orgasm.
From that point Kallie lost all sense of time and place. She had no idea what happened. No idea if she had more orgasms. She felt herself drift off wrapped snuggly in pleasure.
“Welcome back, sweetheart.”
Kallie yawned. Curled up against his chest with his strong arms holding her safely she blinked at Alex. As she stretched she gave a little jerk of pain when the muscle in her burnt leg cramped.
Alex immediately looked worried.
She grimaced. “Cramp.”
He massaged the leg and stretched it out for her until she admitted it was gone.
“In the future, tell me honestly when things hurt, my darling. We can work around them, but I could have hurt you unintentionally if we’d have continued.”
“I know. It’s just I didn’t want to stop.”
He kissed her and then smirked. “I think we managed to find an alternative.”
“That’s an understatement!”
Alex roar of laughter filled the room. He kissed the top of her head. “Come on, sweetheart. Marie has lunch ready.”
Chapter Twenty-four
Kallie and Alex settled in life together. They both went back to work. Alex had refused to go back to his until he fully satisfied Kallie was completely healed.
Kallie began using Alex’s Jeep, much to his disgust. He wanted her to let Charles drive her in the Bentley Mulsanne. Alex had said he would take the Jeep. Kallie gave him a look and told him to stop being overprotective. He’d glared back at her with his Dom look, but in the end she’d gotten her way.
She confessed to Stacy that she missed her old car. When she said Alex’s Jeep was too perfect for her Stacy had told her how crazy she was. The two of them had spent a day shopping to replace everything Kallie felt she needed to buy. They called into a coffee shop to recuperate.
“So how is Alex? Is there any sign of the old cold bastard returning?”
“He is trying so hard, Stace. He seems determined to never hide his feelings, even when we go out. He holds my hand or puts his arm around me.”
“Oh wow.” Stacy laughed delightedly.
Kallie snickered. “He’s even kissing me in public!”
“Now that is something I thought would never happen.”
“Mind you, there have been a couple of times when he’s seemed distant. I’ve learned all I have to do is put my arms around him and tell him I love him. He’s told me he’s still frightened I might leave, but I’ve made him promised never to hold his fears away from me.”
“I can understand that. He’s lived all these years in fear and now he’s finally realised that being open is the only way to go. I guess he needs a little reassurance every now and again.”
“Of course, most of the time he’s so overprotective. Now he wants to be with me all the time, but I love it. He even rings me at work at least once a day just to tell me he loves me and misses me.”
“I’m so glad, Kall. It’s been a rough road, but now it’s perfect.”
Kallie was shocked when one Saturday he held up his copy of their contract. She got a sinking feeling in her stomach as he told her to come out onto the balcony. As she watched he tore it into a dozen little pieces and threw it over the glass barrier. Together they watched as the wind caught and tossed the fragments.
“I don’t need that. I’ll never need a contract between us Kallie. The only contract we’ll ever need is a marriage one. I love you more than I can say.”
She wrapped her arms around him. “And I love you, Alex.”
“Let’s go shopping.”
“Shopping?”
“Yes. I want to buy you the biggest engagement ring we can find and I…” His voice became unsteady, unsure. “Kallie will you…will you wear my collar, too?”
She looked up at the man she loved so much and smiled. “Of course I will. I’d be honoured.”
He grabbed her and spun her around. “Come on.”
He raced down the hall, dragging a laughing Kallie along. Marie stopped in surprise as they reached her. She’d just let the house cleaners out the front door. Alex grabbed her and kissed her noisily.
“We’re off to buy an engagement ring, Marie. She won’t be able to escape us then.”

With Marie’s laughter ringing in his ears, Alex drove down the driveway and out onto the road. Driving into the city he parked the car in one of the larger car parks. They walked hand in hand toward the central shopping area. Alex stopped outside a very exclusive jeweller and buzzed for admittance.
They were ushered in with hushed deference, the salesperson speaking so softly Alex had to lean forward to hear him. They were led to a seating alcove then he and Alex discussed what type of ring they were looking for. Alex, determined to buy Kallie the most beautiful ring he could find, said he wanted something different. They were shown several rings, but none was what he wanted.
“I have two new designs perhaps you’d be interested in.”
When the salesman returned he placed both on the dark blue velvet-lined tray in front of them. Alex immediately saw the ring he wanted. It was a platinum ring with a square-cut diamond. The amazing center stone was 4.7 karats, and there were sixty-one round cut diamonds in a trailing vine-and-leaf design on either side leading down the shank, and another twelve in leaves on the gallery bridge.
“This one,” the jeweller slid the ring on Kallie’s finger.
Alex felt a rush of happiness. This was almost as beautiful as his Kallie. “Do you like it?” His voice held fear. What would he do if she said no?
“Alex, it’s…” She choked back a sob. “It’s stunning. I love it.”
He could breathe easier.
“This is the one I want, and I want matching wedding rings to complement it.”
“I would suggest just a wide, plain platinum band, sir. The engagement ring is very ornate, so a plain band would show it off best.”
“Perfect.”
Thrilled he watched Kallie turn her hand this way and that, admiring the way the light caught the diamonds. Both his and Kallie’s ring sizes were then taken and the lovely ring returned to the jeweller who then gave Alex the technical details of the ring and its diamonds.
“I also want a collar, something that will match the wedding band.”
“Collar?” The man looked puzzled at Alex then Kalli
e. A look of clarity came over him as he nodded his head and said, “Ah.” He picked up the ring. “Certainly, sir. One moment.” He left again.
Alex whispered to Kallie. “This is the same place Dan bought Stacy’s collar. He told me they have some exclusive collar designs.”
A few moments later the salesman returned with another tray. On it were several pieces, but Alex immediately picked out one. It was a curve polished platinum band moulded to sit comfortably on the wearer. It was approximately a centimeter and a half wide. Nestled along the top at the front were several small round diamonds.
“I’ll take this.”
“Certainly, sir.”
“When will the rings be ready?”
“One week. I will arrange to deliver them to you. Sir, would you like to take the collar today if it fits?”
“Yes.”
“If I may measure you, madam.”
The jeweller measured Kallie’s neck and then lay the collar on her. He tutted and fussed but declared it a perfect fit. Alex pulled out his black card and placed it on the tray. The jeweller bowed his head slightly and left, taking the rings and collar with him. He returned momentarily with Alex’s card, the paperwork for him to sign, and a square box containing the collar. Once everything was signed the jeweller wrapped the box in tissue and placed it in a glossy white bag with the company’s name embossed on it. He shook hands with Alex and Kallie telling Alex he would contact him to arrange a suitable delivery time. They left and returned to the car.
“You did like it, didn’t you, Kall?” Alex said uncertainly.
“I did, Alex, honestly. It’s so beautiful.”
“Like you, sweetheart. I adore you.” He lifted her hand and kissed it.
They returned to the house, and Alex shouted to Marie they were back and would have lunch in an hour. He took Kallie into their bedroom and seated her on the edge of the bed. He knelt in front of her.
“I love you, Kallie. I love you more with every passing day.”
“And I love you Alex. I think I loved you from the first moment I saw you even though you were horrid.”
He laughed. “Marry me soon. Marry me for Christmas. I don’t want to wait any longer.”
“I will.”
He took her hand and led her from the bedroom into the playroom. He gently removed her clothes until she stood naked before him. He stood gazing down at her, devouring her with his eyes.
He left the room and then returned with the jeweller’s box. He grinned to himself when he saw how much his hands were shaking as he opened the box. Taking the collar he dropped the box to the ground and with fumbling hands unclipped the collar’s clasp.
“Kallista Robins, you mean more to me than I can ever express. Never in my life have I wanted to place a collar around a sub until the day I met you. When I saw you already wore one I went crazy.”
He smiled to himself at the smirk that appeared then swiftly disappeared from Kallie’s face. “I know we should have a ceremony, but I…Kallista, I…”
Kallie looked up at him and smiled. He actually felt weak at the knees. This woman had turned his whole world upside down, and he loved it. He took a deep breath and exhaled loudly.
“Kallista Robins, will you put yourself into my trust? Will you allow me to honour and protect you, to love you, to give you all you desire? I promise to care for you always. I promise to respect you always. I promise to show you every emotion I ever feel.”
Kallie stared up into his eyes. Alex was overwhelmed by the emotion of the moment and could feel himself tearing up as he continued.
“Will you allow me to place this collar around your neck as a symbol of all I promise, of all I commit to you?”
There were tears slowly running down Kallie’s cheeks. Alex thought they looked like little diamonds as they sparkled in the light. She searched his face again then smiled warmly once more. Her smiles had the power to make him want to shout to the world how much he loved her. Against her he had no defence.
“I will.”
Her voice was soft, intimate and he could hear all the love she felt for him in those two words. He held the collar to her throat then closed it with a loud snap.
“Kallista.” His voice broke, and he could say no more as he gathered her in his arms.
She melted against him. Alex picked her up and walked to the couch. He sat with her wrapped in his arms. It amazed him. He had her naked, yet sex was the last thing on his mind. He wanted to drink in the smells, the feel, and the taste of her.
Lowering his head he brushed his lips across hers. Teasing he sucked on her bottom lip and then ran his tongue along it. Slowly he pressed his lips against hers. It felt like an electric shock going through him as he felt her mould herself against him. Their tongues began to dance. He wrapped a hand in her hair. She had one hand pressed hard against his chest, against his heart.
Now she would definitely feel it. Now it was beating as if he ran a million miles.
He wondered if she knew the power she had over him.
He wanted to feel this way forever and while he held this woman in his arms he knew he always would. Slowly they broke the kiss.
“I love you,” she whispered.
Her sultry voice still sang to him. “I love you, too, Ms. Robins.”
Kallie gave a laugh. Alex helped her dress, and then hand in hand they went down to lunch. Alex sat opposite her, and when she stretched out her legs he caught one between his. Her gasp told him she remembered the day when she moved and he had done just that. Her cheeks flushed as she grinned across the table at him.

“You’re definitely not going in to work tomorrow, are you?”
“No. I’ve finished up the voice-over. I’ll check it today but I’m sure it’s finished. Why?”
“You said earlier in the week you might have to go in on Saturday and if you did I’d have to let Dan and Stacy know.”
“Thought I might, but everything went smoothly.”
“Great. That means Dan and Stacy will be coming over for your birthday tomorrow.”
Kallie lay in Alex’s arms. They both just woken and both reluctant to get out of bed. Kallie sat up and looked down at Alex. “Remember you promise me you wouldn’t buy me anything. I’ve got my beautiful engagement ring and collar.”
“Too late. I’ve already got something.”
“Alex!” Kallie sounded exasperated. “I thought we had a deal.”
He grinned up at her and shrugged. “I forgot.”
“Alex Harrison, don’t lie! You never forget anything.”
Alex had to smile at the way she tried to sound angry, but the twinkle in her eyes gave her away. He pulled her down and kissed her thoroughly. He had to admit to himself this loving business felt pretty good as she melted against him.
He wanted to give her the world, wanted to show her how much he loved her. Each day Alex discovered it got easier to show everything he felt for her. He knew he would never hide anything from her again.
The next morning it felt so good to wake with Kallie still sleeping alongside him. She had rolled onto her side through the night, her head in the crook between his arm and chest. She had thrown one leg over his. He traced her lips and ran his finger over her cheek. At times like this he found it hard to believe she was his. When she’d opened her eyes and smiled across at him, he’d felt his heart turn over.
“Happy birthday.”
“Thank you.”
“So got anything planned for today?”
“Mmm…thought might spend it with my boyfriend.”
“Do I know him?”
“Maybe.”
“What’s so special about him?”
“Oh, he likes it when I do this.”
He felt Kallie wrap her hand around his cock. It was already at half-mast, but at her touch he felt the blood rush down.
“What else does he like?” His voice sounded husky to his ears.
“I think he enjoys it when I suck his dick.”
/>
“Show me,” he whispered.
Kallie wriggled down the bed and slid her gorgeous mouth over his cock. She cupped his balls with one hand as she began to suck his dick in and out her mouth. He closed his eyes and just let the feeling of sheer pleasure wash over him. He felt her teeth gently rub against the underside of his cock, and it was almost his undoing. He grabbed her and pulled her up fastening his mouth on hers. As he forced his tongue between her lips he moved her until he could push his cock between her legs.
He felt her sigh against his mouth as he thrust into her hot, wet pussy. He lowered his head to kiss each nipple then began pushing and pulling in time with her.
“Your cunt is so hot. I love fucking you.”
She’d wrapped her legs around him, and he thrust deep into her. Watching her face he pushed in hard and then pulled back until almost out, only to thrust his dick in hard again. She breathed faster her mouth slightly open with her tongue against her bottom lip.
She screamed. “I’m coming, Alex!”
He was so close. After a few quick pumps, he held his cock in deep as his hips jerk hard against her. “Kallie,” he shouted, drawing her name out as he came.
They lay intertwined with Kallie held tight in his arms. He never imagined that plain old sex could be so good, but with Kallie it took him into space. When they’d finally got back to earth he let Kallie shower while he made a quick call to make sure everything was organised for lunch.
After a light breakfast Alex took Kallie up to his office with Zeus following. He made her close her eyes then handed her a sheet of paper instructing her to look. At first she seemed puzzled but then when she realised what she was looking out she burst into tears. He pulled her into his arms.
“Don’t cry, sweetheart. It isn’t even built yet.”
“I know.” She sobbed. “But it’s wonderful.”
Alex had a team of architects designing a new sound studio that would be attached to the main house. He knew how much she missed not having one, and he wanted to do anything he could to make her happy.
“You can pick out the consoles and everything else next week so the builder knows how much room to assign and where to put things.”
