“What about you?”
Luis stalled, the question taking him by surprise. “What about me?”
“Who’s most important to you?” whispered Ollie, slowly squeezing Luis’s hand.
Luis’s skin was naturally very tan, but Ollie could still notice his cheeks getting a flush. “I… You’re all important to me. I enjoy making you happy.”
“I know, but don’t you want to have someone who loves you? Not as a pet but as a partner?” asked Ollie, slouching slightly. Deep down, he wanted to ask if he could be that someone, but the question didn’t feel right. Almost as if he didn’t want to hear a positive answer anymore. He didn’t want to be the hot water bottle on Luis’s commitment issues. Something had changed, and he didn’t know what it was.
Luis laughed nervously and gave Ollie a tighter hug. “I’m just too awkward with people. It’s easier this way.”
“Maybe you should hire a coach?” asked Ollie, relaxing in the embrace. It felt liberating to finally confront those issues, even though it didn’t go the way he had built it up in his head throughout the years.
“You’re going to teach me how to live now, Ollie?” Luis chuckled and kissed Ollie’s head. It was like seeing a whole new side of Luis, and it only reminded Ollie how little he knew about his master.
“I care about you. You have so much to offer, but you are always distant.”
“You’re too sweet, Ollie.” Luis took a deep breath. “Will you take me up on my offer, or do you need time to think?”
Ollie swallowed hard. Since the outing with Goran, the itch to see other people was still there. If nothing improved about his relationships with the other guys, visits at the main house would definitely help Ollie to keep his sanity, but he didn’t want to be favored over everyone else either. He shrugged. “I’ll think about it.”
“And if anything else crazy or awful is happening, don’t even use the kitty mail, that’s not its point. Tell the cook or the maid that you would like to see me, and I’ll come over. I just… want this place to be fun.” He got up and gave Ollie a kiss on the lips.
Ollie smiled, already knowing his time with Luis was over, and for once, he wasn’t even sorry about it. This brief conversation was worth more than any of the times they had fucked. “It’s been nice talking to you for a change. You’re a good friend.”
Luis smiled, and it was a relief to see at least a bit of tension disappear from his shoulders. “I’m always there for you.”
For the first time in ages, letting go of Luis’s hand didn’t feel like opening a wound.
Chapter 14
Goran went into the kitchen without even turning the light on. All the appliances gave off enough light to reach the fridge, their standby lights like little beady eyes watching him in the darkness. It had to be the isolation from the world that made his imagination so vivid. Six weeks had passed since he moved in, so he had four months and two weeks to go. Not bad at all. Having so much fun with Clove and Bounce, and Luis not even being here half the time, Goran could hardly even call this a job. Everything was provided for them, and all the chores were dealt with by people hired for this purpose.
If only Ollie wasn’t there with his pretty face and big, sad eyes. How dare he act like a victim after he gave Goran a peek into his soul and then backed off as if Goran were trash. Was it the lack of money? His age? Probably his lack of silver tongue as well. How could Goran compete with Luis? Luis had everything, and Ollie had been here for two years for a reason. Goran was stupid to have deluded himself over an infatuation with a guy he couldn’t have.
Earlier today, he tried to show Ollie that he could draw Luis’s attention too, but it backfired and only proved to Goran that he was barking up the wrong tree. He bet the whole drama made Luis reconsider his relationship with Ollie and the two of them were now all lovey-dovey.
Something crackled softly behind Goran’s back, and he stiffened with his hand on the handle of the fridge. Soft footsteps. And in the polished metal in front of him, Goran noticed the reflection of movement by the door. The silence was so heavy it was choking air out of Goran’s lungs.
He swallowed, fighting away his fear. It was ridiculous. He should have just turned on the light. Why didn’t he turn on the light? It wasn’t as if he’d wake someone up. He slowly turned around on his heel.
Someone was hiding by the door, the outline of an arm and head barely visible in the dark but definitely there. When that someone finally spoke, invisible rain fell on Goran’s back. It was Ollie.
“Hi.”
Goran groaned, annoyed with himself that he got giddy over being alone with Ollie before he could even think about it. “You want to use the fridge first or something?”
“I couldn’t sleep either,” said Ollie, sliding into the kitchen and finally getting into the ray of weak light coming through the window.
Goran turned around, frustrated that he couldn’t remember what he came in for. Ollie stopped in the middle of the kitchen, looking amazing even in just his sleeping shorts and a loose tank top. He clasped his hands together and sighed, staying silent for several seconds.
“We could make milk with honey,” he said in the end, and it seemed like the equivalent of talking about the weather.
“Did you finally get what you wanted from Luis that you’re trying to be so nice?” Goran leaned against the countertop and crossed his arms on his chest.
Ollie stepped back and closed his eyes. “Nothing happened, if that’s what you’re asking about. What about you? Why did you walk in on my time with him?”
Goran was jealous. That was the only reason why he followed Ollie and Luis to the massage room. “I told you I could become his favorite cat.”
Ollie shrugged. “Why? Just to spite me? You already succeeded in making me completely miserable and lonely in the one place that I consider home.”
Goran couldn’t take it anymore. His eyes suddenly watered, and he couldn’t breathe. “And you? You got under my skin just to crawl back out and leave me like that. I thought we had a connection, but all you care for is Luis.”
Ollie licked his lips and let his arms fall to his sides. A crease appeared above his nose as his gaze kept moving between the floor and Goran’s face. “I care for Luis. Doesn’t mean he’s the only person I care about.”
“You threw me under the bus. You know how much I need that money. You didn’t… fight for me. You would for a friend.” Goran sniffed, shocked at how much all this affected him. How deeply hurt he was by Ollie’s dismissive behavior.
“I know. I lost it when they found us out, and I acted like a kid. I was so afraid he’d throw me out right away. I’m so sorry I let you down, but I can’t turn back time.” Ollie took a deep breath and approached Goran.
At least Ollie’s apology sounded sincere this time. “I’m sorry I tried to interfere today. It won’t happen again.” Goran lowered his gaze. Even Ollie’s feet were so pretty. They wiggled, bare on the cool floor, as if to tease him.
Ollie cleared his throat. “In the last week, none of you touched me. And you don’t even look at me. You don’t want me to be here.”
Goran took a deep breath. “It’s not like that at all. I just can’t bear touching you anymore.”
Ollie’s Adam’s apple moved up and down his graceful neck. “Why? Are you disgusted with me? Is that it? You think I’m pathetic?”
Goran looked up to his eyes and shook his head. “You really are dumb, aren’t you? I’m falling for you so hard. If I kiss you again, I’ll lose my heart.”
Ollie gasped and clutched at the front of his tank top. He stepped back, stepped forward, then rushed across the kitchen and clung to Goran so tight there wasn’t even room for a breath between them. Goran didn’t overthink it either and wrapped his arms around Ollie. He buried his face in the soft blond curls and inhaled their almond scent.
He wasn’t sure what this meant, what Ollie actually wanted, but nothing felt as good as holding him close, so he wouldn’t be lettin
g go any time soon.
Ollie rose in his arms, and then his soft, sweet lips were on Goran’s chin. Only one movement was enough for their lips to connect, and Goran’s brain danced in a multitude of colors. Ollie’s arms were around his neck and held on, as if they never wanted to let go. Goran pulled him close, lifting Ollie off his feet, but the brief breathlessness that followed only spiked Goran’s appetite.
He let his tongue explore Ollie’s mouth. It was a mystery why Ollie chose to follow him tonight, but it was too late for Goran to ponder it. Ollie was so warm in his arms, he apologized, reached out. But…
“Wait.” Goran pulled away, hardly catching a breath. He picked Ollie up and sat him on the counter. “Am I your consolation prize?” he whispered, but his hands were drawn to Ollie’s thighs anyway.
Ollie took a deep breath, and he looked at Goran without focus, touching his chest with a hunger Goran had never seen him express so far. “What? No... no, no, Goran.” Ollie cupped his face with both hands and pulled him close. “I missed you all week. Not having you around was worse than Luis being gone,” he uttered, watching Goran with those big, trusting eyes.
Goran broke out into a silly grin, his insides melting at the sweet words. “I hated not talking to you too.” He slid between Ollie’s legs and planted another kiss on those hot lips. He was exactly where he wanted to be. Ollie’s legs were impossibly warm and tight around him when Ollie pulled him closer and entwined his ankles in the small of Goran’s back.
“You did? I thought you hated me. You all hate me now,” whimpered Ollie, shaking slightly as he arched closer to Goran, vulnerable and open.
“You know what I hate?” Goran stroked up and down Ollie’s thighs, his heart racing and his dick waking up as if it was only now catching up with the rest of his body. “I hate that I didn’t get to be all over you yet.”
Ollie groaned and pressed a firm kiss to Goran’s lips. “How about making up for it now?” he whispered, brushing his fingers through Goran’s hair. His face was pure sincerity, and it reflected all the neediness that Goran learned to associate with Ollie.
Goran inhaled Ollie’s scent, pushing his nose against the fragrant skin. “Yes, please,” he groaned. “Rubbers or bare?” His heart was pounding with the need to push his cock into the beautiful guy and hear him moan. His body went from zero to a hundred miles an hour in two seconds.
Ollie moaned and showered heated kisses all over Goran’s neck. “Is it strange that I feel so close to you?” he whispered, slowly pulling up his tank top.
“No, because I feel like that too.” Goran sucked in his lower lip at the sight of Ollie’s nipples. He’d seen them almost every day since he arrived, but now that he would actually get to touch them, his dick strained in his boxers from just looking at the lovely pink flesh. He leaned lower and gave one a wet kiss. “I like that you seem so emotionally… frail. I’m sorry if that’s the wrong word.” He looked up into the beautiful blue eyes.
Ollie’s gaze trailed all over Goran’s face. “I hope you can handle it,” he said, touching his fingers to Goran’s lips. “I need to be human again.”
“Hell yes, I can handle it.” Goran kissed every finger before laying claim over the other nipple. He was ready to handle this every day. Only when he said it out loud did he realize that not only didn’t he mind, but he really liked how sensitive Ollie was. It brought out all of Goran’s protective instincts and made him feel like he could finally become the person he wanted to be.
Ollie’s chest arched toward Goran’s lips, but he was already lying down on the counter. There was no hesitation in Ollie at all, as if he shed all his fears and insecurities by delving into Goran’s arms. “You remember my name? It’s Oliver,” he whispered, stroking his hands up and down Goran’s arms possessively.
“You don’t like being Ollie?” Goran hated tearing his hands away from Ollie, but he needed to push his shorts down, all too eager to have a piece of Ollie that he hadn’t had a chance to taste. Being in the dark kitchen like this, just the two of them, without anyone watching, was such a different experience from the open fucking he’d seen and participated in here that it sent Goran’s excitement sky-high. This moment would be only his and Ollie’s.
Ollie grinned and nipped on Goran’s. His eyes were glinting even brighter than during their night out a week ago. “I miss being more than a pet. You made me realize that,” he said with a sincerity Goran didn’t expect.
“That’s just too sweet.” Goran smiled and followed Ollie’s lips to kiss him again. Maybe it was about being locked up with the same people this way, but then again, none of the other guys had this effect on him. There was just something about Ollie, and it wasn’t just his looks but the combination of traits Goran found irresistible. He pulled Ollie closer to the edge of the counter, happy to be able to talk during sex for once. “You gotta tell me, babe. Rubbers or bare? Because if you leave it up to me, I will cream your little hole.”
Ollie’s whole body twitched, and he raised his hips, brushing his groin against the front of Goran’s pants. The brief touch was enough to trigger a shudder to trail down Goran’s dick and curl up in his balls, ready to shoot into Ollie.
“Oh, yes. Come inside me. Promise?”
“Fuck yes, I promise,” Goran hissed and pushed his shorts down, releasing his hard cock, already aching to push between Ollie’s round ass cheeks. He leaned closer and gave Ollie a kiss, frantically thinking what would do best as lube, because he was not about to go to the living room to get some.
Ollie let out a brief laugh, and then his smooth hand was on Goran’s dick, grounding him in place. “I wish you came here sooner. I could have used this long ago.”
“Oh, yeah? You wouldn’t have been hung up on Luis?” Goran rocked his hips back and forth, grinning at Ollie. He settled on a bottle of olive oil nearby. It was close enough to reach without tearing himself away from the embrace, which at this point was the most important thing to consider.
Ollie’s eyes followed the bottle, and he quickly pushed his shorts lower, untangling his legs from around Goran in frustration when he needed to get the garment off. “You are different. It’s like you see everyone as they are. I trust you,” whispered Ollie, pulling Goran close as soon as he was completely naked.
“Oh? So now I have magic powers? Wait ‘til you feel my dick inside of you.” Goran sucked in Ollie’s bottom lip and popped open the bottle of oil.
Ollie laughed against his lips, completely relaxed. He was stroking his hands up and down Goran’s nape, but his eyes were fixed on Goran’s face, as if Ollie couldn’t get enough of looking at it. “You’re right, that’s exactly what I need.”
Goran’s breath got shaky, and all he could smell was Ollie’s perfect scent. He slipped his finger between the soft, smooth buttocks while watching the handsome face not to miss any sign of pleasure. The long eyelashes fluttered, and Ollie’s blue eyes rolled back when Goran touched the wrinkled skin around Ollie’s anus. If it was so skin-meltingly hot on the outside, how would it feel to slide his cock inside? Ollie pulling him close with his leg was yet another hint that Goran was about to find out soon enough.
Goran rubbed Ollie’s hole gently, remembering all the times he’d seen him give head to another guy or getting fucked. His voice would get a delicious high pitch and his skin would go pink, but this time, something about Ollie’s excitement was different. He wasn’t spacing out, and he kept looking back at Goran, sucking in shaky breath after shaky breath as he rubbed his ass against the fingers.
Warm digits twisted in Goran’s hair and pulled him closer, toward the arch of Ollie’s throat, and the sensation of his firm pulse beating against Goran’s lips was so exquisite, his dick twitched in Ollie’s hand.
Goran sucked on Ollie’s skin, set on leaving him with a hickey as he rocked his hips between the naked legs. He didn’t have much to give this lovely creature, but at least in this way, Goran could mark Ollie as his. He slipped his finger into the tight ass, already ima
gining his cock in there. He couldn’t wait to make Ollie moan louder.
The supple flesh all but sucked him in, and Ollie clenched his muscles around the digit while swirling his thumb over the tip of Goran’s dick. His eyes were hazy and unfocused, but the honest, vulnerable expression on the handsome face sent butterflies all over Goran’s stomach. No one ever looked at him like this. As if they were ready to strip their skin and reveal every emotion under the surface.
He pulled away from Ollie’s neck, and despite the arousal thudding in his body and screaming for Goran to pound Ollie’s ass like a madman, he gave Ollie a tender kiss while looking into his eyes. Ollie was completely there with him, even their breaths synchronized into a single powerful rhythm. There was no doubt in Goran’s mind that in this moment, neither of them was just another hot, replaceable body. He wanted Ollie, but Ollie wanted him just as much.
The smooth hand was gone from his cock, and he wanted to protest, until it curled around his wrist and pulled on it, moving Goran’s finger deeper into the silky heat of Ollie’s ass.
Goran deepened the kiss and let his other hand glide all the way up Ollie’s knee. He’d give Ollie the fuck of his life. Better than Luis ever could give. He’d make Ollie forget about any other man who was inside him before. He slid his finger out and planted a wet kiss on Ollie’s jaw, inhaling the faint scent of sweat.
Goran couldn’t stop staring at Ollie’s flushed face, and as Ollie’s fingers massaged his scalp, Goran reached to his own cock without even looking between their bodies. Later on, he would not deny himself, but right now, he wanted to see Ollie’s face up close when their bodies connected for the first time.
