“Hugo, what are you planning to do?” I ask him.
“Do you love me?” he asks instead.
“Yes.”
He comes closer. “Before this summer’s over, I have to clear my name and destroy not only Scarlett but everyone involved in covering up the wrongs that not only affected Karlie but my brother. Now, I’m going to do some reckless things and I will need everyone’s help. I want your help.”
“I’m so in,” Jordana answers.
“Oh! Me too!” Poppy gleefully raises her hand.
“So what do you say, Juliet? Want to cross back over to the dark side for a moment?” Hugo asks me.
I stare into the oceanic eyes I have gone too far in. My decision isn’t difficult to make.
“Let’s kill the bitch.”
