Feels So Right, It Must Be Wrong 2

“I know you're probably wondering what we’re doing here, but I had to come check on you and my granddaughter,” Juanita said, throwing Asia off guard.

Unconsciously, Asia's hands traveled down to her stomach. “I uh…umm.” She didn't know what to say.

Seeing that she was stuck, Patience spoke up. “Knowledge told me when he found out. I wasn't shocked or surprised when he told me because I seen the way you looked at each other the first time I met you.”

“I didn't know about her,” Asia blurted out. “He kept her a secret from me and I didn't find out about her and his daughter until I was already pregnant.”

Juanita waved her off. “Sweetie, you do not have to explain yourself to me, or anybody else for that matter. I just hope that you will allow us to be in her life.”

“Of course, but umm, how is he?” asked Asia.

“He's a little down, but I have faith in him. The doctors said he will be able to walk again but he’ll have to go through some very intense therapy. I hated I had to leave him but that one girl was getting on my nerves.”

“I owe her one,” Anika said as she walked in the room. “Hi, I'm Anika, or Nika. I'm Asia's sister,” she introduced herself to Juanita and reintroduced herself to Patience.

  “Nice to meet you.”

“When you go back to see him, can you tell him I said to get better?” Asia said.

“Girl, we came to get you so you can tell him yourself. Fuck Chelsea. She knows not to step out of line with me or my mama around, so finish eating and let's go,” Patience said.

Knowledge was laying in the hospital bed mad at the world. The only thing he found joy in right now was his daughter. She was laid out on his chest lightly snoring. Just the thought that he never would have been able to see her again or vice versa hurt his heart.

Not only that, but he never would have gotten the chance to meet his unborn daughter Wysdom. Thinking about her automatically made his mind travel to Asia. He was still in shock that she was really the one who had killed Tone.

“Knowledge, are you listening to me?” Chelsea asked as she walked over to the bed and took Serenity off his chest.

  “No,” he said dryly.

“You need to lose that attitude. You are mad at the wrong people. The one you should be mad at isn't even here.”

Symir had told him about the little incident that happened between Asia and Chelsea, and he wasn't pleased. “Yea, I heard about what you did and you better be glad I can't put my foot up yo…”

“Wow, such language,” Juanita shook her head as she walked in the room followed by Patience and Asia.

Knowledge didn't try to hide the smile on his face when he saw Asia, and Chelsea didn't try to hide the mean mug on hers. “Why is she here?”

“Why are you here?” Patience retorted. It was no secret that Patience didn't like Chelsea; she never did. Now that Asia was going to be in the picture for good, she was going to let it be known that she was Team Asia.

“Can you excuse us? We have some family business to discuss,” Juanita said as she took a sleeping Serenity out of her arms.

Chelsea didn't say anything because she knew that Knowledge would have chewed her ass out. She did make it a point to stare Asia down as she walked out the door.

“Imma fuck her up,” Asia said.

“Not while you carrying my child. Leave that shit alone. She'll be alright,” Knowledge said as he reached his arms out for a hug.

Asia walked over to him and hugged him tightly while he kissed her neck. “I'm sorry,” she whispered, trying not to cry. She was apologizing for more reasons than one. She was sorry for being mad at him, sorry for avoiding him, and even sorry that he got shot and was in this predicament.

“Cut all that out, girl. You know this is a small thing to a giant. I’ll be good,” he said as he rubbed her belly. She was still barely showing and he was anxious for her to get bigger.

After walking down the hallway, Chelsea did some thinking and came to the conclusion that she wasn’t going to be treated like she was the side bitch. She had been with Knowledge since day one and been by his side through everything, so she refused to be treated like she wasn’t shit.

Angrily, she walked back into the room. Everyone turned to look at her like she had lost her mind. She walked over to Patience and took her daughter from her and sat back down in the seat she had previously been sitting in.

  “What you doing?” Patience asked.

“Doing what I’m supposed to do,” Chelsea said.

Juanita just shook her head. She could see that her son had gone and gotten himself in a situation that he couldn’t get out of. “Omari, I’m going to ask you something and don’t you lie to me,” she said.

  “What, ma?” he asked.

“Are you two still sleeping together?” Juanita asked.

  “Who?” Knowledge retorted.

  “Don’t play with me.”

Asia stepped back, ready to hear Knowledge’s response. He did a lot of talking in Rome about how he was losing feelings for Chelsea and didn’t want anything to do with her, he wasn’t fucking her, and all that good stuff. Knowledge turned his head to look out the window. He wasn’t about to dignify that question with a response because he felt like he shouldn’t have to explain himself.

“Go ahead, Knowledge. Tell her what we were doing thirty minutes before I got a phone call telling me to go to the hospital,” Chelsea said with an attitude. She wanted and needed for Asia to know that she was going to be around regardless.

  “Yea,” Knowledge finally answered.

Asia just rolled her eyes. “Why am I not surprised?”

“Well, you shouldn’t be. I mean, I still am his fiancé and the mother of his child. I wouldn’t expect you to trip over something that’s not yours.” Chelsea smirked.

“Slow ya roll, baby girl. I would never trip over something that’s not mines, but I can verify, show and prove that he wasn’t all yours. But honestly, you don’t have to worry about me after today because I’m falling back,” Asia spat as she glared at Knowledge before leaving the room.

She didn’t need this shit. Since she’s known Knowledge, he hadn’t done anything but lie to her and lead her on. She was tired of playing this game with him, and this time she was officially done. She could do way better and wasn’t about to stress over a nigga that was not her nigga.

  Three months later

“Symare, stop running in this house! I’m not going to tell you again,” Asia yelled.

To her, it seemed like her son woke up one morning and decided to be bad and act out. For the life of her she couldn’t understand what was wrong with him. Crystal said it might be because he knew that he would have to share his attention with a new baby in two months.

“You better quit yelling at my son, big girl,” Khyree said as he came in the house from the back patio.

“Really, Khy? You calling me big girl now?” Asia said as tears formed in her eyes.

When she hit five months, she started being emotional and crying over any and everything. Just three months ago, you couldn’t even tell she was pregnant. Now it looked like she was pregnant with a watermelon.

“Oh boy, I’m sorry, A. please don’t start that crying shit.” Khyree shook his head. I can’t say shit without making her cry, he thought to himself as he walked her out of the kitchen and to the living room.

Asia was sitting on the couch sniffling when Symare walked past and mugged his dad. “What you do to mommy?” he asked.

“Nothing. Mommy is just emotional right now,” Khyree said as he tried not to laugh at the fact that his son was checking him.

Knowing something wasn’t right with his mom, he walked over to her and climbed in her lap as best as her belly would allow. He used his little hands to wipe her tears away and pressed his forehead against hers.

  “Don’t cry, mommy.”

Feeling dumb for crying for no reason and having her son worried about her, Asia p
ut on a smile and hugged her son tightly. “Mommy’s not going to cry anymore.”

“Aren’t you two just adorable?” Khyree smiled at his son and the mother of his child.

“Oooohh,” Symare said excitedly as he felt the baby kick. “Look!” he said.

Asia just laughed as she looked down to see her baby kick again. Her daughter was very active and loved to kick and move around a lot. She couldn’t wait to meet her. Wysdom was the only good thing that came out of her ever meeting Knowledge.

Asia hadn’t spoken to or seen Knowledge since the day she walked out of his hospital room. She even went as far as blocking his number from calling her phone. She didn’t have time for the mind games and bullshit. She was going to leave him alone to be a happy family with his bitter bitch Chelsea.

She wasn’t built for that side bitch life because she required too much attention, and she damn sure wasn’t about to be labeled as anybody’s home wrecker. If she had to raise her daughter on her own as a single parent, then that’s exactly what she would do. She did it when Khyree was locked up and Symare was fine.

After a long, intense physical therapy session, Knowledge was exhausted. He had improved a lot since being shot and was now walking with a cane. He hated that, but it was better than being paralyzed for the rest of his life.

He sat on the couch with Serenity in his lap watching TV. He looked down at her and smiled because she was really into the show like she knew what she was watching. He loved being a father. He found joy in his daughter every day. Whenever he was down, in pain, or in a bad mood, he would take one look at her and smile brightly.

Even with that, he still felt a small void in his life. He hadn't talked to Asia since she stormed out of his hospital room and he was pissed with her about the fact that she hadn't called to update him on their daughter.

She had cut off all lines of communication with him. She wouldn't even tell Symir what was up with her because she knew he wouldn't hesitate to tell Knowledge. He couldn't even understand why Asia was even mad at him. She wasn't giving up no pussy and he was in need, so he did what any nigga would do. He went and fucked his ‘in house’ pussy. What did she expect?

Checking the time on his phone, he powered up the laptop to get ready for Symir’s monthly meeting. Since he still couldn't really get out and about, Symir would skype him in on the meetings so he wouldn't be out of the loop. He put Serenity in her swing so he could handle business.

“What's up, baby boy? How you feeling?” Symir asked.

“Shit ain't all good, but it ain't all bad,” Knowledge answered.

“I hear you, bruh. Everybody on this end can't wait for you to come back. But check your phone real quick. I sent you something,” Symir informed Knowledge.

Just as Knowledge reached for his phone, it vibrated, indicating that he had a text. He clicked on the picture message and his jaw hit the floor when Asia popped up with a big round belly. He was wondering how in the hell she blew up so fast because the last time he saw her, she showed little signs of being pregnant.

  “Damn,” he mumbled.

“That's what I said. She got big overnight. But we’ll discuss that later. Let’s get down to business,” Symir said.

Knowledge spent a few more seconds examining the picture. Even though the picture was taken off guard, she was still smiling and he could tell that she was glowing. He smiled for a second, but it was replaced with a scowl when he realized he was missing out on her entire pregnancy. He was going to let her continue to throw this little temper tantrum but all this bullshit was going to come to an end the moment his daughter entered the world.

“So,” Symir started, bringing Knowledge from his thoughts, “as you all know, we changed up some things in the last three months because I felt like my trust was betrayed. Since then, we haven't had any problems and not another word about the police sniffing behind us, so we all know what this means.”

“That Cordae is a snake and should have been handled a long time ago,” Mickey said.

“I second that notion,” Cole said.

“He's been missing ever since Knowledge got shot. I still have my suspicions about him and I'm putting word out that I want to see him,” Symir said.

“I doubt that will happen,” Knowledge spoke up. “He's a bitch like his daddy so I doubt he’ll come out of hiding.”

“Well, he can either come out or I'll bring him out. It's really not that hard for me to find him, but I'm giving him the chance to come to me himself,” Symir said.

After discussing other matters, Symir wrapped up the meeting. While everyone else prepared to leave, Cole stayed back with him and stayed on skype with Knowledge.

“You straight, my boy?” Symir asked.

“Yea, I’m good. Besides the fact that both of the mothers of my children are pissed off at me.”

“You know what you need to do, right?” asked Symir.

  “No.”

“You need to sit both of them down and talk to them. Just let everything out and keep it one hundred with both of them. I know it’s not something that you want to do, but it definitely needs to be done.”

Knowledge just rubbed his goatee. He knew that Symir was right, but he knew this meeting could possibly dig a deeper hole than the one he was already in because Chelsea had yet to find out that Asia as pregnant with his second daughter.

“You’re right. Get your sister together and I’ll handle Chelsea,” he agreed.

“Say no more. I’ll be there with you anyways because I know how A can be, so don’t trip.”

“Thanks, man,” Knowledge chuckled as they disconnected the video chat.

“Chelsea is going to fuck you up.” Knowledge heard from behind him.

He turned around to see his sister walking over to Serenity who had fallen asleep. After getting shot, Patience decided to move back home so she could take care of her brother. She knew for a fact that Chelsea wasn’t going to do right by him since she was mad at him, so to save herself from having to hand out an ass whooping, she moved Knowledge in with her after she got settled in.

“I’m not worried. I have a big sister that will protect her little brother by any means necessary.” Knowledge smiled.

“Whatever, but I talked to Asia,” Patience said.

  “What, when?”

“We talk all the time. Just because you fucked up doesn’t mean we have a problem with each other,” Patience said as she rocked her niece in her arms.

“So all this time you’ve been in contact with her and you know I been over here stressing about what the fuck is going on with her and my daughter?” Knowledge yelled.

“Calm your nerves and watch your tone, Omari. You did this shit so you have nobody to be mad at but yourself. Don’t you think if something was wrong with either her or the baby that I would tell you? She’s mad and hurt right now so she doesn’t want to talk to you. She keeps me updated on everything but told me not to tell you because she wants nothing to do with you,” Patience explained.

“I bet. I’ll probably never get to see my daughter fucking with her crazy ass.”

“Nah, I highly doubt that,” Patience said. “It’s no secret that she loves you, even if she tries to say she doesn’t. It’s very evident that she does. If she didn’t, this wouldn’t be effecting her like it does. I would tell you what she told me, but that’s none of my business. You fucked this up so it’s up to you to make it right. You should have been using the past three months to really think hard about who you want to be with because both is no longer an option,” she said before getting up to leave her little brother to his thoughts.

Knowledge knew that his sister was speaking some real shit. Patience and his mom had no problems telling him what he needed to hear, no matter how harsh it was. He knew he couldn’t be mad at anyone but himself. He made his bed so now he had to lie in it. He honestly knew who he wanted to be with, but he knew how his decision could affect his relationship with the other.

Asia was sitting on the couch with a Taco Bell bag full of mild sauce. She didn’t have any food in it, just sauce. She was watching TV and sucking the sauces from their packs at the same time. Lately, mild sauce had been one of her biggest cravings. She could eat a whole bag of them in one day.

She was crying as she watched The Vow for the hundredth time. Each time she watched it, it made her cry. She heard a key turning in the lock and wondered if it was Khyree, Symir or Cole. Not even caring to take her eyes off the TV, she just waited for them to show their face.

“You gon have heartburn out of this world,” Cole said as he came and plopped down on the couch with her.

  “I know, but I can’t help it.”

Cole reached for the remote and changed the channel.

“Cole! What the hell are you doing?” Asia exclaimed.

“Asia, shut up. You sit here and watch this movie all day, every day. Don’t nobody wanna see that shit.”

“How you just gone walk in my house and regulate my TV? Where they do that at?” Asia laughed.

Because Cole and Asia had become so close since he started working for Symir, she asked him if he would do the honors in being Wysdom’s godfather. Cole happily accepted. He was elated that Asia even thought of him to be the godfather to her child.

“Where lil man at?” Cole asked.

“With mom. I’m supposed to going to get him now, as matter of fact,” Asia said as she tried to get off the couch. Her belly was preventing her from getting up the way she wanted. Chuckling to himself, Cole got up to help her up.

“I hate to see what happens when I hit nine months. This shit is so not cool.” Asia shook her head.

Cole shook his head as Asia waddled to the kitchen to put her bag of sauces up.

“Hurry up, girl. We’re taking my truck.”

The ride to Crystal’s house was a funny one. Asia called herself trying to sing, but to Cole it sounded more like a cat dying. Every time he would comment on her pitch being off or her hitting the wrong note, Asia would call him a hater.
