Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye

“Don’t be a wuss,” she scolded. She did not stop the pressure. Isabella rocked her behind back and forth, taking him deeply and then sliding him out of her again.

Alesandro whimpered, grabbed her around the waist and slowed her down.

  “Big wuss.”

Alesandro opened his eyes again and dropped fang.

Uh, oh—maybe it isn’t smart to tease a master vampire during sex. She had released his beast.

Alesandro lifted Isabella and spun her around. Isabella landed on her knees. He spread her wide and entered her vagina with one powerful thrust. “I’ll show you power, Bella,” he told her. He slapped her on the butt.

“Oh, shit,” Bella uttered loudly as Alesandro took her doggy-style. She had lost control of the situation and he would show her no mercy.

“Come for me,” he said after working her for ten non-stop minutes.

Through the delirium Isabella managed a weak, “No.” Her knees slipped but Alesandro lifted her back into position and re-entered, not even missing a beat. His actions slowed. He slid out of her and then back in and then he began to hump. She’d watched a porn movie or two and knew what it meant. She was in serious trouble.

  “Open your mind to me.”

Isabella closed her eyes and opened her mind. Alesandro continued to hump her, making her wet inside again. This time he filled her mind with images of him with other women.

Drums beat in her head and chanting blocked out much of the good stuff. Why were the Loas interfering?

Her body wavered but Alesandro pulled her to him and continued to move in and out of her slowly. Images of bare breasts and sweaty chests filled her mind. Damn, he’s done men and done them right. That did not shock her as much as she thought it would to see him starring in a little man-on-man action. In fact, it turned her on.

Alesandro popped her on the behind again.

Isabella opened her eyes. The images disappeared but the drums kept beating in her head. They grew louder with each forceful push of Alesandro’s hips. Sweat poured from their bodies. Her eyes closed again and then she saw the two of them mating in the woods of Africa. “Ooh, you’re not playing fair.” He’d taken her to the mother land.

“I need to see your eyes,” Alesandro announced. His breath felt warm against her neck. He slid out of her. “I can’t take this anymore.”

“No, don’t,” Isabella moaned. She was so close to coming again.

Alesandro gathered her into his arms, flipped her over on her back, and adjusted her legs around his waist. He sank back into her, pinning her to the bed. Alesandro nuzzled her neck as he continued to screw the life out of her.

The pleasure was indescribably good—him kissing and making love to her.

Alesandro groaned once. “This is it, Bella.” He adjusted her legs, and pushed into her, burying his penis deep inside of her and his face into her throat.

Then Isabella felt this searing pain at her throat and she screamed, as yet another orgasm roared through her body and down to the pit of her stomach. That bastard bit me.

Her fangs erupted from her gums and she sunk them into his chest and sucked his blood, swallowing deeply.

“Oh, sweet mercy,” Alesandro cried out as his body jerked and spasmed against her. He pushed her away roughly. “What have you done? Don’t you know the consequences of sharing blood with me means?”

Isabella’s body quivered as his warm blood entered her body. The room around them shook again and the lights flashed. The chandelier fell from the ceiling and barely missed them on the bed. Isabella moaned and the pleasure inside her body continued.

Then all of it came to a screeching halt. Voices entered her head. People cried out pitifully and begged for mercy. Isabella gripped her head and tried to stay the voices and the sounds of the drums. What had she done?

Visions appeared in her head once again. These were more violent with people filled with despair and darkness. The link in her mind opened. It was Alesandro calling her name.

  “Come back to me, Bella.”

He seemed so far away, and she felt like she floated in oblivion. What was in his blood? Her question was soon answered as the pits of hell appeared before her and out walked Lucifer.

“Job well done,” he told her, as he stopped before her and bowed. “I must admit I never expected such a performance from you. If I’d known I would have kept you for myself.”

“What is happening to me?” Isabella asked, not caring both of them were nude.

  “It’s a reaction from drinking Alesandro’s blood.”

  “Am I dying?”

Lucifer laughed. “No, but you’ll soon wish you were.”

Isabella put her hand up to her ears. “What’s up with the voices?”

“All victims of Alesandro,” Lucifer explained. “They will all go away shortly.”

Isabella groaned. Wasn’t being able to communicate with the dead enough? “Did we save the world?”

  Lucifer nodded. “This time.”

Isabella exhaled. Alesandro’s voice rose above the others. “What should I do now?”

“Go back to him,” Lucifer said, touching her forehead with his finger. “The two of you belong together and will forever be bound together by blood.”

“What?” Isabella asked as Lucifer’s image and hell disappeared before her eyes. “We’re bonded? Like married?”

The only answer she received was Lucifer’s laughter.

Isabella’s eyes flew open and she found herself back in Alesandro’s bedroom. Alesandro sat at her side, holding her hand.

  “You’re awake?”

  “Yes,” Isabella replied. “What happened?”

“I think we saved the world,” he answered pointing to a big bouquet of flowers sent by Lucifer.

“No, I mean between you and me. The blood thing?”

“Don’t ask,” Alesandro replied. “I don’t think you really want to know.”

  * * * *

Everything seemed like it was back to normal. Isabella stood in the cemetery. “Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, and four.”

  “What are you doing?”

“Three. Waiting for the world to end. Two, one.” Nothing. Isabella opened her eyes and found Alesandro standing very near, almost touching her.

“Happy New Year’s,” he said right before he leaned over and kissed her.

Isabella pushed him away and started walking. “Stupid demon.”

“Who me?” Alesandro asked, catching up with her.

“No, Lucifer,” she mumbled. “Can’t even perform a proper world destruction.”

“We stopped that from happening. Don’t you remember?”

Of course she did, but she also knew demons could not be trusted to keep their word. It would be so like Lucifer to change his mind at the last moment. Isabella stopped walking and moved her hands around in the air.

  “What are you doing?”

“Feeling for souls,” she told him.

  “Why?”

For a vampire, he sure asked a lot of questions. “To make sure they all crossed over.”

“Oh, right. I forgot that’s your thing—speaking to the dead.”

She gazed over at him. “Right.”

“Well, technically I’m not dead,” he replied as he walked to catch up with her.

“Um hum.” She stopped at her car, opened the door, and climbed inside.

Alesandro slid into the passenger’s seat.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

“Darius wants to meet with you.”

She supposed he wanted to read her the riot act for killing Moldavi, one of the king’s favorites. “I’m busy,” she said starting the engine and driving through the cemetery gates.

“When are you going to give the guy a break? After all he is your father.”

“His bad decision, not mine,” Isabella said turning the car onto the interstate and heading toward the council chambers. She had enough problems coming to grips with the fact she
d slept with Alesandro. Now she felt like she’d cheated on Malcolm. How was she going to face him? She hoped he would understand since she had saved the world.

“You don’t really believe that? He did love your mother.”

“Not enough to tell her the truth,” Isabella replied. All that happened over twenty-five years ago. Why was he bringing it up now?

“At least speak with him. What do you have to lose?”

“My life, my freedom, oh yeah, and my animosity towards him.”

Alesandro frowned at her. “If you hate him so much why are we here at the council chambers?”

“Dropping you off,” Isabella replied, turning of the car’s engine. “What does he want to talk about anyway?”

“I don’t know. He asked me to find you and ask you to come.”

Isabella opened the car door and stepped out. Alesandro followed. “I’ll give him five minutes and then I’m out of here.”

Alesandro caught up with her at the top of the stairs. He opened the door for her and then followed her in past the guards who looked a bit antsy to see her. Isabella sighed. If she’d wanted them dead they would be dead by now.

Alesandro walked along side of her to the council chamber and opened the door for her. Isabella half-expected to find all the council members present, but only found Darius and Zolin. Three against one. Not very good odds when the three were all powerful master vampires.

Darius rose to his feet the moment he saw her. He was dressed more casually than she’d ever seen him—in a pair of navy blue slacks and a light blue pullover shirt.

Zolin looked equally comfortable in light blue denim jeans and a sleeveless denim vest.

“Isabella,” Darius said walking over to her and pulling her into his arms.

Her built in destroy all vampires gene rallied up in her body.

“Cool it,” Alesandro said in her head.

Isabella relaxed but didn’t hug him back.

Darius released her. “I’m glad you’re safe.”

“Did you expect otherwise?’ Isabella asked.

“I did not know what to expect.”

“I told you she was fine,” Alesandro said, walking past them and climbing up to his seat on the council podium. “He had to see with his own eyes.”

“I’m her father,” Darius announced. “Of course I’m concerned. The last thing I heard was, she was alone with you at your mansion and Lucifer was on his way. No telling what could have happened to her.”

Sometimes having a master vampire as a father could be quite smothering, especially since he barely looked older than she was.

“I’m fine,” Isabella said. “Is there anything else you need from me?”

“To talk,” Darius said. “Alesandro never really explained what happened that night.”

“We saved the world,” Isabella replied. “Much to my dismay.”

Darius frowned at her. “Stop that foolishness. You do not want to die.”

Isabella shrugged. “Anyway, Alesandro and I had dinner and had a nice long talk and then, Lucifer showed up, declared us good and evil and stopped the world from ending.”

“That’s all?” Darius asked. He walked away and sat down in a chair nearby.

  “Yes,” Isabella replied.

Alesandro cleared his throat very loudly.

Isabella rolled her eyes at him to silence him.

“What’s wrong with you?” Zolin asked Alesandro.

“Oh, nothing,” Alesandro replied. “Isabella might be a little sore.”

Zolin walked over to her and stared at her. “The Princess has a hickey,” he announced.

“Where?” Darius asked excitedly like a father.

“On her neck beneath the turtleneck.”

Isabella rolled her eyes at Zolin. Another reason she didn’t like him was that he was far too nosey. “Take your eyes off of me, Prince Alta. I am an adult and you don’t have to examine me for my father.”

Zolin chuckled. “They are my eyes and I can do with them what I want to. You’re mad because I ratted you out to Darius.”

Darius got up and walked over to her and lowered her collar. He gasped. “She’s been bitten.”

Isabella froze. Even she was smart enough not to aggravate King Adjatay’s minister of war. She was so going to kill Zolin.

“It’s only a small bite,” Alesandro insisted.

Isabella threw him a murderous look.

“Did you do this?” Darius asked.

“Guilty,” Alesandro replied. “All in the name of saving the world. Lucifer expected us to get along. If you know what I mean? It was one of his conditions.”

Darius sat back down. “You mean he asked you to bite her?”

  “Not exactly.”

If Alesandro didn’t stop talking she was going to kill him too. “I’m fine,” Isabella replied.

“It’s not the point,” Darius said loudly. “I entrusted you to him and he bit you.”

“She bit me too,” Alesandro volunteered. “If that makes you feel better.”

The blood rushing to her father’s face, added a whole new meaning to pissed off, over-protective parent. “No, it does not make me feel better. What were the two of you doing that you had to exchange bites?”

  Zolin chuckled. “The mattress mambo.”

Isabella threatened the Aztec prince. “Remind me to kill you.”

“Name the time and the place, cupcake.”

Isabella swore beneath her breath and clenched her fists. She’d break the treaty to wipe that arrogant smile off Zolin’s face.

“Please tell me you didn’t share blood with Alesandro?” Darius pleaded.

Alesandro leaned forward to hear her answer.

Isabella checked to make sure the link in her mind was sealed shut. “Of course not.” She paused. “What does it mean, anyway?”

“He bites you and sucks your blood and then you bite him and suck his blood. You know, share blood. Please tell me you didn’t.”

  “No,” Isabella lied.

Darius exhaled. “Good because I like him and all, but I don’t want to kill him. Exchanging blood this way, especially during sex would make you his bound mate.”

“Yuck, Daddy; really. What’s a bound mate?”

“His life mate,” Darius explained. “It would mean the two of you would always know what the other is doing. You would share each other’s dreams and emotions. Back home it would mean the two of you were married and could procreate.” He smiled.

  “She called me Daddy.”

  “Oh!” Isabella said. Damn Alesandro.

“I told you that you didn’t want to know.”

How did he get past her link? Shit. “I am so going to stake you.”

“Is there anything else Father? I really do have to get to work.”

“No, that’s it. I wanted to make sure you were alive.”

“Yes,” she said, turning on her heels and heading toward the door. Alesandro beat her to it before she got there.

“Aren’t you going to say goodbye to me?” he asked.

“Drop dead, Alesandro,” Isabella said. “Now move aside.”

  “One little kiss first.”

“Is he bothering you, Princess?” Darius asked.

  “No,” Alesandro answered.

“Yes,” Isabella answered. “He wants a kiss.”

“Kiss the man and put him out of his misery,” Darius told her.

Isabella made a very unladylike face and Alesandro swooped in for the kill, pressing his lips to hers, and pulling her into his arms.

Isabella willed herself not to swoon, not to get swept away, not to remember the night. Damn, she was failing badly.

Alesandro broke the kiss. “Have a nice evening, Miss Denning,” he said nonchalantly, like the kiss meant nothing to him.

Isabella shook off the emotions and rolled her eyes at him.

Alesandro chuckled. “I’ll see you in my dreams,” he told her.

  Isabella hurried out of the
door and out of the building. She scrambled for her keys and got back into her car.

“Not if I see you first,” she muttered as she drove off to report everything, well almost everything to PAK.
