Finley nods. “Liam really likes her, when he first met her he was already in love.”
“Really?” I gasp, remembering when I bought her to the studio and introduced them.
“It’s not as rare as you think.” Finley winks and I begin to blush.
When we finish our breakfast, and I do eat quite a bit, I go into the shower. As I strip off and stand naked in the bathroom, wondering how the shower actually turns on, Finley opens the door and stands proud and naked. My eyes widen as I take him in. Fuck I want him.
Last night he wouldn’t let himself get too close because I had been drinking, but I’m clear headed now and I know I want Finley. I don’t think taking it slow is really working out. I slowly walk towards him, letting my finger trail his tattoos.
“Ok if I share your shower?” He asks.
“There’s no need to ask.” I kiss his lips, and lead him into the shower. Giggling, I hold his hand as we step inside and he turns the water on. Seeing the water running down his body is mesmerising. I can’t seem to look away. Finley seems to have the same problem, as his eyes are fixed on my breasts. My nipples harden in response and his thumb lifts to rub them. Finley smirks as he pinches my nipples slightly, causing my moan to echo in the shower.
Finley moves me around so that the water falls directly onto my head, and soaks my hair. He begins to wash it for me, I take advantage of the moment and relax, because nobody has ever done anything like this for me. We take turns washing each other’s bodies, and Finley pays extra attention to my breasts. His hard cock presses against my belly and I crave him inside of me. I grab a hold of his thickness, and begin to pump. Finley groans as we tease each other, working ourselves into a frenzy, but the ringing of Finley’s phone puts a stop to it. At first, he ignores it, but when it rings for the fifth time, Finley groans and with a last kiss on my lips, he jumps out the shower and answers his phone.
“Dad?” He asks, and I follow him out of the shower, wrapping myself with the towel Finley has just handed me. “So you heard.”
My back straightens. He has to be talking about what happened with TJ last night.
“Yeah, alright.” Finley answers and hangs up the phone. He turns to look at me and flashes me a small smile. “My dad wants us to go and see him.”
“About last night?” I ask and he nods.
“He thinks it’s best to say something before TJ.” Finley explains. “The paparazzi have photos of me punching him, and at the minute they aren’t being released.”
“How?” I ask.
“My dad has a good relationship with some paps and newspapers. They tip him off and in return he can decide what to do about it. His contact said they won’t say anything about TJ, unless we release a story about what happened from our point of view.”
I nod, taking a shaking breath. “And TJ will want to speak. He did it last time.”
“So you’re ok with this?” Finley asks.
“I’m sure.” And I spend the next thirty minutes getting myself ready. I dress in the clothes that Finley has supplied, a pair of skinny black jeans and a plain white shirt. I only have my knee high boots available, but they go just fine. I reply to Cassie’s texts and promise to call later if I don’t come home.
Finley drives us to his parents’ house and my mouth hangs open in awe as I take in his childhood home. “This is where you grew up?”
Finley nods. “We moved in when I was about five years old.”
I step out the car and Finley holds my hand as he leads me to the front door. When we step inside, I’m not shocked to see that the inside is as impressive as I imagined it to be. It’s bright and welcoming, family photos hanging on the walls and displayed in glass cabinets and stylish shelving. As we walk through his large family home, I begin to hear voices and Finley leads me to them. It’s still quite early in the morning, so it’s not a surprise to see some of his family members sat around the kitchen table.
Kendal looks over at me and her face spreads into a warm smile. “Riley.”
“Good morning.” I smile back and Finley leads me towards the table. I sit next to his younger sister, Haiden.
“Hi.” She smiles.
“Hey.” I smile back and she beams with happiness. She’s a pretty girl and her features are so similar to Finley’s.
Jax and Kendal join Finley and me at the table and we talk about the girls night. Kendal shakes her head as we laugh at how drunk Grace was. Jax indicates to this morning’s newspaper in the middle of the table and I cringe at what it will say. Finley reaches for it, and turns a few pages until he gets the page that shows the shots that were taken of me, Cassie, Lily and April before we had entered the club. We’re all wearing huge smiles as we walk arm in arm. There’s also a photo of Grace arriving with Demi and the rest of their friends. Next to those, are dark and grainy pictures of us all in the club dancing, the headline on the page is,
Riley Joins the Young Decoy Girls On A Night Out.
The pictures make me feel happy, and remember the best part of the night instead of dwelling on TJ.
“You all look so pretty.” Haiden complements, leaning closer to look at the photos.
“Haiden, didn’t you needed to do something for your channel?” Kendal asks her youngest daughter.
Haiden’s eyes widen and she jumps up, running out of the room. “That will keep her busy for a while.” Jax laughs.
I know that Haiden has her own YouTube channel, and my sister is a loyal fan of her videos. Now that Finley’s young sister is away, we can discuss what happened with TJ in private.
“So, you wanna tell me what happened last night?” Jax asks Finley. “I’ve seen the photos.”
“TJ is a prick dad.” Finley argues. “He had it coming.”
“But you can’t go around punching everyone.” Kendal scolds her son and I’m sat in the middle, feeling very guilty.
“It’s not Finley’s fault.” I add. “TJ was trying to get to me as I was leaving the club, he grabbed me and Finley was protecting me. I’m sorry.”
“You’ve nothing to be sorry about.” Finley holds my hand, squeezing in support.
“So this wasn’t a random fight?” Kendal asks, looking between the two of us. “This man was hurting you?”
“Is this TJ that Grace was talking about? The one who betrayed you Riley?” Jax asks, looking as angry as Finley did when I told him about TJ.
I nod. “Yeah, he’s not a good man and I thought I’d never see him again.” I go on to tell them everything that has happened with TJ. I don’t leave anything out and I add in what went on last night and Finley stiffens when he hears what TJ had been saying before he had turned up.
“That fucker.” Finley growls and reaches for my arm, showing his parents my mark. “Look at what he did to her.”
Kendal gasps, and Jax quickly gets out of his chair. Storming over to me and looking at the mark, which is now darkening in colour.
“He won’t get away with this.” Jax declares. “He’s already in police custody but they can’t do anything with him until they know more.”
“Riley, I’m so sorry hunny.” Kendal kindly reaches for my hand and I offer it to her.
“First things first, we make a statement about TJ to the police so that this is documented.” Jax orders, and I nod in answer. “Nothing serious will happen, but at least they will know about it and he will be warned not to go near you again.”
“Get a restraining order.” Kendal orders, looking deadly serious..
“She’s right.” Finley turns to me. “He won’t be able to get to you again.”
I think it through, and realise it makes sense. There was no need to before, but now that he seems to have changed, I think it’s for the best. The way he looked at me and how hard he held onto my arm, it wasn’t the TJ I used to know for sure. I nod to Finley and I see his shoulders relax.
“Right well, let’s get down to the police station and sort all of this out.” Jax stands.
“What about the paps?” Finley asks
.
“After we get back, we will tell your story Riley. I know it will be hard, but once your side of everything is out there, people will understand and if we’re seen at the police station, all the better for the truth to be seen.” He gets his car keys and kisses Kendal. “Come on.”
Finley takes hold of my hand and grips tightly. “This ok?”
“Yeah.” I look over to his parents and back to Finley. “I just can’t believe you’re all helping me.”
“I will always help you.” Finley leans forward and kisses me on the lips softly. “Come on.”
When I stand, I see Kendal watching us with a secret smile and I rush out of there behind Jax and Finley. We get into Jax’s car, with Finley getting in the back with me. As we travel to the police station, I just know that this is the right thing to do.
Chapter Twenty
The last twelve hours have been spent dealing with TJ and what happened. Jax took Finley and me to the police station where TJ was being held, and I gave my statement about what had happened. Finley supported me by backing up my statement and I got my restraining order against TJ. I was actually shocked at how relieved I was when the Police officer said it was all complete. TJ wouldn’t be held for any longer in his cell, but they would give him a strong warning to stay away from me, and as a bonus he isn’t allowed to contact me. As soon as he does, I have to go straight to the police. It’s very serious, I know and initially I did think it was a little too much, but after all the heartache he caused me, the torture and how much he scared me last night, I think it’s the right thing to do. I was struck by how much he had changed, he had so much hate in his eyes and I don’t understand why. He left me, he cheated on me and it was TJ who revealed all our moments together, just for money. I just hope TJ will accept what I have done, and he will keep away from me.
Finley and Jax were so supportive throughout the whole thing. Being in a police station is a scary thing, even if you’re the innocent one. Finley never left my side and he gave me all the reassurance I needed, and Jax was there for the both of us. He stood by us and made sure the police officer was getting everything down and doing their job. He was being extra protective and it felt nice, it was how my parents would have acted and I was grateful for him being there. Jax continued to be supportive when after we left the station, we went straight to his record company building. A couple of paparazzi and a few writers who work with magazines and a newspaper were waiting for us.
As we stepped out of the elevator on the top floor, we bumped into Leo, who is in the band, Decoy with Jax and Jax quickly explained why we were there. Leo flashed me a sympathetic smile and gave Jax a quick update on a new band they had signed, before we make our way to a private office. When we entered the room, they were all sat around a table. They all looked up at me, five pairs of eyes observing me and I was suddenly very apprehensive. Finley took a hold of my hand and lead me to seat, keeping hold of me as Jax lead the interviews. As a team, Jax, Finley and me, we gave them what they wanted in order to not release the photos of Finley hitting TJ. Finley said he wasn’t really bothered, but I didn’t want people to see him like that and I certainly know Jax didn’t and he agreed to their terms. They will mention what happened, that Finley protected me against TJ, but there will be no proof.
Now that it’s all over, I hold my phone in my hand because I need to ring my mum. She needs to know what will be written in the newspapers tomorrow. As I’m about to call her, my phone rings and it’s Cassie.
“Hey.” I answer.
“Hey.” She sighs. “I’ve been trying to get hold of you all day.”
“Sorry, I’ve been at the police station sorting TJ and then I went to D Records to speak to some writers.” I explain.
“Holy shit, you went to D Records!” She gasps. “What’s it like?”
“I didn’t really look around to be honest.” I giggle.
“How are you?” She asks and I update her. “A little relieved.”
I let her know I’m staying at Finley’s tonight and I ask her about Liam. She giggles a lot, but she can’t talk too much because Liam is actually with her.
“Are you coming home tomorrow?” She asks.
“I don’t know. Finley seems to like me close at the minute.” I reply quietly so Finley doesn’t overhear me.
“After what happened, and what Liam told me, I’m not surprised.” Cassie answers.
“What did Liam tell you?” I ask.
“Well, Liam said he’s never been like this with a girl and he’s very protective of you. Finley knows how badly TJ betrayed you and now he’s hurt you again, I bet he wants you be close so he can look after you.” I can hear the smile in her voice. “And I bet he wants to give you some special loving.”
“Cass.” I laugh and let her know that I need to call my mum and let her know what’s happened and Cassie wishes me luck.
The phone only dials a few times before I’m welcomed with my mother’s voice. “Hello my darlin’.”
“Hey mum, I need to tell you something.”
There’s a pause, before she answers. “Ok, what’s happened?”
“There’s nothing to worry about.” I quickly let her know. “But, last night I went out on a girl’s night, and as I was waiting for Finley to come and pick me up, TJ was there.” I hear my mum’s sharp intake of air. “He looked different, so much angrier and he wasn’t nice at all.”
“He didn’t hurt you did he?” Her voice has suddenly changed. Momma bear is in her protective mode.
“He grabbed onto my arm and has left a mark, but that’s all.”
“That’s all!” She screams.
“Mum, I’m fine.” I insist. “Finley showed up and punched him so hard, TJ let me go.”
“He did, did he?” My mum asks. “Did Finley punch him a little more?”
“Yeah a few times.” I smile.
“I’m liking Finley a lot now.” My mum mumbles and I can’t help but laugh.
“Me too mum.”
“You should bring him home, he needs to meet your mum and little sister.” She orders and I let her know I will tell him that.
“I told the police what TJ did and I now have a restraining order against him.” I continue.
“That’s a great idea.”
“I know, but I wanted to ring you because this will all be in the papers tomorrow, and I wanted to tell you first.”
“I appreciate that.” I can hear the upset in my mum’s voice.
“Are you ok?” I ask her.
“I’m fine Ry, stop worrying about me.” She sniffles. “I’m glad you have Finley with you, tell him I’m thankful for him looking out for my girl.”
“I will.” I smile. “Will you tell dad for me?”
“Are you not telling him yourself?”
“I would, but I’m kind of tired talking about it all now and you can deliver it better than me, I’m worried dad will be angry and do something silly.” I admit.
“He will be angry, but I’ll make sure he behaves.” We say our goodbyes just as Finley joins me in his bedroom.
He kisses me on the forehead. “You ok?”
“Yeah.” I wipe away the single tear that has just fallen. “Just updated my mum on everything. She says thanks by the way and wants to meet you.”
Finley grins. “I’d love to.”
The pizza that we ordered arrives and we run down the stairs, eager for our food. “What shall we watch?” Finley asks as we sit on his black, fluffy rug with a huge bean bag behind us. Our feast of food is laid out in front.
“Peaky Blinders.” I immediately respond. We began the TV series together when I was first here, and I’ve been dying to continue watching. Finley mock salutes me, and begins an episode as I pick up a slice of pizza and settle.
After Finley finishes his slice, he looks over to me. “I’m proud of you after today.”
I smile over at him. “Thanks for helping me.”
“Anytime.” He winks.
After two
episodes of Peaky Blinders and our belly’s full of pizza, we go up to bed and I change into one of Finley’s shirts. When he returns to the bedroom after going to the bathroom, he stops to grin at me. “I should have just given you a load of my old shirts instead of pyjamas.”
I jump into bed. “I like wearing them.”
Finley strips off, and my mouth waters as he gets into the bed beside me completely naked. “I like seeing you wearing them.”
We lay down facing each other and Finley’s hand rests on my waist. “I’m nervous about tomorrow.”
He doesn’t need me to explain that I’m referring to the media. I’m worried about what will be said and how people will react. Finley grips onto my waist and effortlessly pulls me towards him, our bodies flush against one another.
“You don’t need to be, you have me now and I won’t ever let anyone do anything, or say anything to hurt you.” Finley kisses my lips and lingers close. “My dad will make sure the press stick to their agreement.”
I nod, and Finley searches my eyes, making sure I’m ok before he leans back in and kisses me. His mouth takes away my worries and I’m consumed by only him. My hands travel to his hair, tangling my fingers in the short length and groan as Finley’s hands wander over me. He grips onto my breasts, and plays with my nipples until I’m a withering mess and craving all of him.
“Fuck, I’ve been craving you all day.” Finley growls. “When I saw you in the shower, I had to have you.”
“Then take me.” I sigh, enjoying his hungry kisses on my neck.
Finley breaks, looking me over. “You sure?”
And with one simple nod from me, Finley rolls me onto my back and spreads my legs, settling himself between them. I feel his hard cock as he kisses me some more and I thrust against him, feeling the tip of his cock rubbing at me entrance.
“Shit.” Finley leans over and reaches for the bedside cabinet, blindly reaching inside until he finds what he’s looking for and holds the condom wrapper up, smiling down at me. “Gotta remember.”
I smile up at him as I watch. I never knew watching a man roll a condom over his cock was so sexy to watch. Or maybe that’s just Finley.
