Alistair widened his eyes and then stood up sitting with his back to me. I touched your arm, worried about your reaction.

  - Something wrong?

  - Aideen, I love her so fervently that I was able to send my cousin on a suicide mission just to get rid of the idiot who "threatened" to take away the only woman who ever made sense to me, besides my mother and my sister! - he kissed me softly.

I was staring at Alistair with an enchanted look. His gaze shone with a passion he'd never seen before. There was no lust, only love. That was enough for me, for I was finally truly loved by someone. Alistair smiled at me and then sighed by bending one of her legs to support one of her arms over her knee.

  - We should go. I want to see her lead us home.

  - Do we really have to go?

  - Do you want to stay a little longer?

  - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

  - Then your wish is an order.

We lay down again and he passed his arm around me to bring me closer. I contracted an expression and then I slowly approached him, until I kissed Alistair softly. He didn't move, but he let himself be kissed.

  - I must stop or I'll overstep my bounds. - he said breathlessly after interrupting the kiss that had become voracious.

  - It wouldn't be too bad if you crossed the line.

  - Aideen, we're outdoors.

  - And you're my husband.

  Alistair had a laugh.

  - I created a monster!

Laughing, I kissed Alistair who couldn't help herself. He pulled the strings of my cleavage just enough to caress one of my breasts. I arch my body giving more access to your touch. He abandoned my mouth to kiss my neck and shoulder, meeting my breasts. I felt a chill when the warm tongue touched the sensitive skin of the halo. Alistair started sucking slowly, nibbling occasionally. Groaning, I stuck my hands in his hair and bowed my body to give even more access to his talented mouth. Raising his head he returned to my neck as his hands walked on my legs lifting the skirt of the dress. On his knees he took off his shirt and got rid of my underwear. Without ceasing to look at me, he started kissing one of my legs slowly going towards my thigh. I bit my lower lip and squeezed the blanket with both hands when it reached my belly. With the tip of the thumb, Alistair caressed my clitoris that pulsed desperately, with circular and slow movements. I contorted when he lay between my legs and bent them away a little. I felt my tongue touching my clitoris and shed a little scream of surprise. He smiled mocking my reaction and then began to gently suck on the little dot. I tried to close my legs, but he stopped me. I felt a pressure on my belly when he started massaging my entrance with his thumb. I choked when I felt my thumb coming through my opening slowly. A wave of calluses began to form when he exchanged his thumb for his middle finger. The pressure I felt in my inner self made me squirm as she grew. I was numb because of the feeling. When I was reaching my limit, Alistair softened his movements. His mouth abandoned my clitoris and I felt him rise up. Slowly he replaced his finger with his limb erect and hard. I held my breath when I felt him enter through my opening until his pelvis leaned against my belly. Alistair's breathing became heavy and I could feel that he was controlling himself to be as gentle as possible. He kissed me when I shook and stayed this way for a few moments, until he started to move slowly rubbing against my belly. I moaned in his mouth, so I grabbed his arms tightly sticking my nails in his flesh. Alistair released a grunt and started a back and forth movement. The heat wave took over my body again and the pressure came back, causing the walls of my vagina to contract. I let out a scream when he started moving faster. I followed his rhythm and became more and more relaxed. Alistair took my hands intertwined in his hands and raised the body a little. He leaned his forehead against mine and smiled. I panthed my neck when he rubbed against my skin again in a slow dance.

  - Kiss me! - he asked with his voice dragged.

Raising my head I kissed him as he had asked. Alistair stuck his tongue into my mouth and moved it at the same pace as his body. I thought it was gonna explode at any moment. Alistair began to move faster and penetrated me harder. I growled in his mouth and felt him smile against my lips. He then let go of my hands and raised my legs. The stabs started to get deeper and I started to moan louder. Suddenly, something exploded inside me and I let out a cry of pleasure, which was soon silenced by Alistair's lips. He continued to penetrate me, until, he released a grunt and collapsed on me, panting. We were hugged for a long time in silence, listening to the sound of the wind cutting down the trees and the birds that sang around. Despite the cold, Alistair had a flat back of sweat. He lifted his head and kissed my forehead softly.

  - What's up? - He asked.

  - Yeah. - I answered shyly. - That was wonderful.

  - That's great! - he said standing up and fixing his clothes. - Now let's go home, where we'll have a nice hot bath and make love to you again. What do you think?

Shaking my head I laughed. He lifted me up from the ground and put me on Sovereign, so he went to bind Chimera's reins in the saddle of his horse. Then he collected the blanket by putting it in the leather bag and then rode the horse behind me.

  - Remember the way back? - he asked, handing over the reins to my hands.

  - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

  - That's great! You who will take us back. - he smiled holding my waist. - I won't say a word.

I smiled, settling down and hitting the Sovereign's flanks, I set it in motion. Using everything he had taught me, I followed the path back to Dunhill. We arrived a few minutes later. Adam looked at us with surprise and greeted me as soon as I dismantled the animal. Alistair kissed me affectionately, stopping only to see who was approaching, because we heard the trotting of a hurried horse. Bruce was crossing the bridge, riding in Esperanza, his pet mare. I saw when Alistair sighed with a sigh of relief and I smiled.

  - Did you see what I said?

  - My cousin! - he said hugging Alistair. - Ma'am!

Smiling, I hugged Bruce, who was taken by surprise.

  - You can call me Aideen. - I did. - How was your trip?

He looked at Alistair who nodded.

  - Tiring and surprising.

  - What do you mean by that? - Alistair asked by frowning.

  - I need to talk to you. - he said with a worried face.

  - All right! All right! We'll be ready in a few minutes. - he replied by looking at me.

  - Alistair, I need to talk to you alone. - Bruce fired with a serious face. - I'm sorry, Aideen, but there's something I've discovered that might scare you a little bit.

  - It's okay! It's okay! - I sighed. - There is nothing more that comes from that place that can truly scare me, but I will understand if I prefer to talk only with Alistair.

  Bruce looked at Alistair.

  - Let Aideen participate in the conversation, if you wish. - he kissed my forehead. - She's stronger than she looks.

I smiled at him and kissed Alistair's face. Bruce smiled, folding his arms.

  - Apparently, you two got along? - he said.

  - We're still working on it, but... Alistair took a break. - We can say that we fight and make up several times. I confess it's been fun.

I turned my eyes and shook my head.

  - That's very good! - said Bruce, looking seriously at Alistair. - I'd hate to have to pick up the pieces.

Alistair turned his eyes and smiled ironically.

  - Can we? - he asked.

  - If you'll allow me, I'm starving to death. - he said, making a face. - I need to ask Wally to prepare roast beef with honey.

  - Again, Aideen! - Alistair asked with a face. - It's the third time only this week. Lately you've been eating very strange and disgusting things.

  - What can I do if I feel like eating these things? - ...I shot him with my shoulders on. - You want some too?

  - You know I don't! - he said making a face.

  - Oh, great! That leaves more for me.

  Alistair shook
his head with disgusted expression.

  - Roast meat with honey? - Bruce asked.

  - Yeah. Yesterday she wanted to eat raw fish. - Alistair fired.

  - How long have you been having these urges? - asked Bruce with a funny look.

  - It started a couple of months ago, and in the last few weeks it's been getting worse. - Alistair answered for me. - Why is that? Do you think Aideen might be sick?

  Bruce had a laugh.

  - Not exactly, but it gets better and better! - he answered. We looked at Bruce with a frown and he changed the subject. - Are you sure you want to hear what I have to say?

  - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

He looked at Alistair, who nodded.

  - All right! All right! I'll take a bath, then I'll find them in the library. - he approached me with a mysterious smile on his lips. - Have fun with your meat and honey.

I didn't understand his words and Bruce disappeared into the castle. Alistair sighed, so he walked me to the kitchen. A mixture of worry and curiosity dominated me, but nothing would stand between me and the food. Nothing!

  Chapter 17

  Alistair

Aideen and I went into the library. Bruce was already waiting for us. He walked around the room nervously. I realized he was trying to find words to start with. Bruce was already scaring me with all that mystery.

  - I'm surprised you didn't come into the kitchen before we talked. - he said in an ironic way. - Or, to have accepted Aideen's suggestion of food.

  Bruce took a deep breath.

  - What I'm about to say can be a little shocking to you, Aideen.

  - Don't worry about me, Bruce. - Aideen said before she sat down. - I know Alistair sent you to investigate my life. I'm not worried about what you found out, because there's nothing you're going to say that Alistair doesn't know.

  - With the pardon of the word. - said Bruce. - There are things Alistair doesn't know, let alone you.

  - You're scaring us, Bruce! - I said exasperatedly. - Just say once and for all what you've discovered.

  He took a deep breath.

  - I believe you already know that Roy raped Aideen. - he said.

  - Yes. Aideen told me. - I answered dry. - Including both Ravenna and he will pay for what they did. Him for raping her and her for covering for him. Besides, there's still the fact that Ravenna took Aideen prisoner. I want to see her hang by the neck.

  - These aren't their only crimes. - Bruce fired. - I got information from a former nanny who witnessed some of Ravenna's conversations with Roy. She claims it was Ravenna herself who designed the whole thing.

  Aideen held her breath.

  - I was afraid that was true. - said shaking his head and I looked in her direction. - From what you said, that Ravenna left her alone with Roy, even though he had already raped you, I assumed she was behind everything. The question is, why?

  - Exactly! - Aideen manifested. - I know she didn't like me or Aila very much, but sending someone to rape me is the height of cruelty.

  - I agree! - said Bruce. - Ravenna made it easier for Roy to attack Aideen. Throughout the time he raped her, she prevented the guard or anyone from approaching the scene, preventing Aideen from receiving any help. Their idea was for Aideen to become pregnant and, if necessary, he would attack her as many times as possible.

  - Oh! Oh, my God! - Aideen whispered in horror. - That's the one my mother left me in Roy's care. He hadn't been able to finish what he had started, because Annabel scared him.

I've been staring at Bruce in a staggering way. Ravenna was the shortest person I knew.

  - That bastard! Traitor! Miserable! - ...I've stirred up. - How did you figure that out?

  - A nanny of the girls, who's on the verge of death, told me. - he took a deep breath. - Looks like she's the one who took care of Aideen and cleaned her wounds. Ravenna tried to bribe her so she wouldn't tell anyone, but her wife wouldn't take it. She was taken to the village after being threatened and beaten...

  - With a whip? - Aideen completed.

  - With a whip! - he nodded.

Aideen stared at Bruce with desolate eyes.

  - Ammy was my nanny. When we grew up, she became Aila's maid of company. - she paused to sob. - I can't believe she's dying.

  - I'm so sorry! - said by going to her and hugging her. - I wanted to be face to face with that miserable woman to make her pay for all the suffering she caused people.

  - I know that and I really appreciate it! - she whispered, putting her head on my chest.

Bruce sighed and I felt that he was still hiding something else. He was hesitant about how he would say it and my heart squeezed.

  - Tell me what else is there, besides that.

  - Aila found out about what had happened to Aideen and went to get satisfaction from Ravenna, but she didn't do anything. So Aila had a fight with Roy. - he took a break. - She just didn't kill him because Ravenna stopped her.

  - I know that. Aideen told me.

  - Yeah, but what she didn't tell you was that... Aila was put in a dungeon until she was removed from Inverness.

  - What's that? What's that? - Aideen fired. - No! My mother locked us each in a room.

  - No, Aideen! You've been fooled. Ravenna put her in a dungeon and then arranged for her to leave for Gretna Green - he ran his hand through her hair. - It was raining a lot that night and, unfortunately, the carriage went off the road and...

Aideen looked up and stood up. She went to where Bruce was.

  - What's going on?

  - The carriage fell into an abyss.

  - Aila! What happened to my sister?

  - I'm so sorry! - he said in a hesitant voice. - There were no survivors. Unfortunately, Aila died in the accident.

I closed my eyes feeling the pain that fell on her heart. There was a long moment of silence, until the unbelievable happened. Aideen let out a scream and started beating Bruce.

  - Liar!

  - Aideen! Calm down! - said Bruce trying to protect himself. - I'm not lying! Alistair, do something!

  - My mother said she was in the convent. - Aideen kicked when I took her away from Bruce. - I read every letter she sent us. Aila's not dead!

  - Ravenna forged all the letters he gave you to read. - he said approaching and took a piece of paper that was attached to his waist. - That's the letter that was sent to Ravenna telling her about the accident.

Aideen took the letter from Bruce's hands and began to read it. She walked around in a nervous way. I've been watching a little bit away. When it was over, Aideen's shoulders fell off and she sobbed. I went to where she was.

  - I'm so sorry! - I whispered hugging her.

  - She's dead, Alistair! - Aideen sobbed. - My mother lied to us.

  - Shii! Stay calm! - I ran my hands through her arms. - It's gonna be okay.

  - I'm sorry, Aideen! - said Bruce. - That's why I didn't want you to hear the conversation. I'd rather Alistair told you later.

  - It's okay! It's okay! - she sobbed. - Sooner or later, we'd find out the truth.

She took a break and then went to where Bruce was. Aideen hugged him.

  - I'm sorry I assaulted you! - she said. - Thank you for trying to spare me!

  - You're welcome, Your Highness! - he smiled, passing his hand over Aideen's hair. - I'm glad you're back on your feet.

  - What do you mean? - I asked, making a face.

  - Are you all right? Aideen looked in my direction.

I took a deep breath and made a face by running my hand over the cut. He didn't hurt, but he scratched a lot. However, he still had to take some care so that the wound would not open again.

  - Ravenna hid the rape by not bringing it to her father so that Roy could be tried. She also found a way to get him out of Inverness and take him away. - Bruce went over to the table and got some cognac. - In addition to beating Aideen for not keeping quiet and telling Aila about it, Ravenna also blamed her for what happened. It was for this reason that she kept both daug
hters isolated so that the coup would not surface. Since Aideen didn't get pregnant, Ravenna decided to torment her.

Bruce took a deep breath sitting on one of the chairs.

  - And it doesn't stop there! MacGregor has already received news of his marriage to Aideen and has sent mercenaries to take her to Edinburgh.

  - I know that! - said making a face and sitting with Aideen on a wide armchair. - We were attacked in the woods a few days ago. Not only what he'd done with Aideen, he still tried to kill her.

  - Aideen, there's still more to your mother, but I don't know how you're gonna react. - Bruce said by drinking a little brandy.

  She frowned.

  - Nothing can be worse than knowing that Aila is dead. - she said snuggling up in my chest.

  Bruce took a deep breath.

  - I found out that Ravenna comes from a very ambitious English family. They did everything they could to get close to royalty, but Ravenna ended up falling in love with Phillipe and they got married in secret.

  - Is my mother the princess of England?

  - Actually, I don't. - Bruce took a break. - King Augustus discovered that she was cheating on Phillipe with Roy and had the marriage annulled. Ravenna lost her title, was exiled to Scotland with a lot of money to buy a husband and hide a secret.

  - What secret? - I asked curious.

  - She was pregnant with a little girl.

Aideen looked up to Bruce with surprise.

  - Aila is Phillipe's daughter? - I asked.

  - Yeah, but it's not just her. - Bruce smiled. - You're married to one of the heirs of the Lancaster family, my cousin. Although she is illegitimate, because Ravenna got pregnant from Phillipe again after being exiled, Aideen has rights as heiress.

  - I'm the king's daughter! - Aideen whispered. - How is that possible? What about Annabel?

  - Loch was just a decoy so no one would find out that Ravenna had left England with a child in her belly. He had the prince's traits and would do well for his role. That's how the blacksmith became rich overnight. - Bruce took a break sipping more booze. - Ravenna didn't stay away for long and went back to meet Phillipe. That's how you were generated.

  - So only Annabel is Loch's daughter? - I asked by frowning.
