Sweet Beginning

  Images of what we did once we were at my house flooded my mind. I roll over and stare at the ceiling, replaying the night. I had a good time with Sue. Then my mind wonders to the bar with Anne. That was crazy, she was really upset with her husband. I don't blame her, anyone would be. She is going to need some time to heal, I hope I can keep her out of my thoughts.

  "Mornin' stud" Sue says next to me and stirs me from my thoughts.

  I look over at her and smile, "Morning yourself."

  She moves over to my side of the bed and gives me a kiss, then lays her head on my chest.

  "How's your head?"

  I laugh, "Not good, but how does some breakfast sound. I am hoping some coffee and grease will help."

  "Okay, let's take a quick shower and go." she says.

  I watch her get out of bed and walk the short distance to the bathroom.

  Anne

  Once we are settled into our room, we decide to go have dinner. Then we can rest for the evening. We are going sightseeing tomorrow and then dancing. I am determined to have a good time and forget about the drama I left behind in Michigan.

  Chapter 12

  I wake up early and hop in the shower. I try to be quiet so I don't wake Jaylah up. I slept like a rock last night, the first time in a long time. Maybe it's because I decided I was done with it all. Kyle and I are truely done, the divorce will be final soon. Plus seeing Wyatt kissing Sue, will hopefully help me stop thinking about him .

  So I am going to have fun and live like Jaylah for a weekend. I get out of the shower, make a pot of coffee and finish getting ready. Jaylah finally wakes and starts to get ready herself. As she is doing that I look through my travel guide for Toronto. I figured out where we can go today.

  Jaylah comes out of the bathroom and makes herself a cup of coffee.

  "So did you decide on a place to go?"

  I look up and nod, "Yep. I was thinking we could go see the St. James Cathedral. It was built in 1807, and has the tallest steeple in Canada. They do tours and then have tea after. What do you think?"

  She smiles, "Sounds good, but we are going to the Underground Mall after."

  I nod my head, "But of course, darlin'!"

  We get to St. James Cathedral and walk in for our tour. Its a beautiful cathedral with all its stained glass windows, gothic revival syle and wood carvings. We see an organ demonstration before we head for tea. It was such an enjoyable morning. We both love to see the old buildings and all its history. I say a little prayer for us both before we leave that all will work out in the end.

  As we leave the cathedral, I see a bird on the lawn.

  "Hey JayJay, what kind of fowl is that?" I ask.

  She looks over at me, "Did you just ask me what kind of FOWL that is? You are crazy." We both laugh.

  We decide its too cold out to do any walking around and sightseeing. So we go have lunch and shop at the Underground Mall. As we are eating our lunch in the mall, we are talking about where to go tonight.

  "I was looking through the book for some where to go tonight. How about going dancing?" I ask Jaylah.

  She looks up from her chinese food, "Yeah that would be fun. We should get new outfits for tonight."

  I nod my head in agreement, "Yeah, I really don't have anything for dancing. I think we should go to "Bar 244," it sounds really cool. They only have the dance club on the weekends, in the basement."

  After we finish up our shared lunch. We go into several stores. We pick out some outfits and I come out with one on. Jaylah says, "You need to pick out one more slutty than that for dancing."

  I laugh, "Okay....but you are going to have to help me. I haven't bought clothes like this since... well never."

  She picks out an outfit and makes me try it on. I put it on, look at myself in the mirror. I take a deep breath and come out to show her.

  "Well, what do you think?"

  She looks me up and down, "It has potential, let me grab some other things."

  After an hour of trying on outfits and goofing around. We finally decided on what we wanted.

  "How about we head to the hotel and get ourselves ready. We can go to the bar in the hotel for a small dinner and a couple of drinks before we go dancing." I say to Jaylah.

  "Sounds good to me."

  We get back to our room to get ready. I feel like a teenager again, we are having so much fun. We turn up the music and dance around. Jaylah does my hair and make up. She is awesome at that stuff, so I don't argue with her.

  I look at myself in the mirror, "HOT DAMN, JayJay....you did good."

  She comes up next to me and puts her arm around my shoulders. "Yeah we are two fucking HOT ASS chicks......we are going to have some fun tonight. Now come on, let's go find us some MEN."

  We walked down to the hotel bar, to get something to eat and drink. I look around as we enter the bar. There is actually a lot more people than I thought would be here. We take a seat close to the bar and look over the menu. We decide to share a patty melt, onion rings and drinks. The waitress comes back with our drinks.

  "These are from the two gentlemen at the end of the bar." she says as she points at them. We raise our glasses in a thank you.

  "Damn, they are HOT!" Jaylah says.

  I look over at the two men. They are both tall, and very good looking. One has dark, almost black hair, with a shadow of a beard. He smiles towards Jaylah and the other one looks at me. He is slightly shorter than the other guy with brown hair, and what looks like a fit body, under his t-shirt and sexy jeans.

  Jaylah looks over, smiles and gives them her "Come hither" look.

  "I call dibs on the dark haired one." she says and laughs.

  I laugh back at her, "Whatever, they are both HOT and I just want to have a good time."

  I can't believe they bought us drinks, this kind of stuff only happens in movies and books. Or so I always thought. I have never dated as an adult, this is all new to me. I hope I don't make an ass out of myself. I look up to see them walking over to us.

  "Hello Ladies." the dark haired one says.

  The other man looks over at me and smiles. From the looks of it they made their choice which one of us they wanted. I laugh to myself, this is going to be fun. I follow Jaylah's lead.

  I smile back at him, "Thank you for the drinks." I look over at Jaylah.

  She smiles, "Why don't you guys join us. My name is Jaylah and this is Anne."

  The guys pull out the two extra chairs and sit. The dark one replies, "Nice to meet you Jaylah, Anne. My name is Dave and this is Ted."

  The waitress shows up with our food. She asks Dave and Ted if they are going to eat their food with us.

  "Yes, thanks honey and put it all on one bill." Dave replies.

  I look over at him, "You don't have to do that. You already bought us drinks."

  He smiles and what a nice smile it is. It's not as beautiful as Wyatt's.... What?? I can't think of him now, I don't want to think of him now. Whatever happens here, stays here. God, I sound like a Vegas commercial, I chuckle to myself. I am going to stop thinking about Wyatt and enjoy this man in front of me, with his golden eyes.

  "Please let me buy you dinner." Ted says to me. I hear Dave and Jaylah having a conversation of their own.

  "Okay, that's very nice of you."

  The guys get their dinners and we are all eating. We talk about where we are all from. They are from Boston, they came to Toronto for business, but came early to enjoy their New Year. They have business meetings all next week. They own some kind of Computer IT company.

  After a couple of drinks, I am feeling its affects.

  "So what are you ladies doing tonight?" Dave asks.

  Jaylah looks over at me and I give her a quick nod, "We are going dancing at "Bar 244". They open the basement up on the weekends for dancing. What are you guys doing tonight?" she replies.

  The guys look at each other, "Going dancing, if you don't mind us tagging along." Ted looks over a
t me.

  "Not at all. Let us go to the ladies room real quick." I wink at him. I smile, the drinks are helping calm my nerves. I would have never winked at a man before.

  We walk into the bathroom and as soon as the door closes, Jaylah turns to me.

  "Are you sure you're okay with this? This is so new for you. I don't know where this night is headed, but I want you to be oayk with this before we do anything."

  I smile at her, "I'm fine JayJay. I want to have fun, let loose this weekend. I have only ever been with Kyle and I need to get the drama out of my head for a little while."

  She walks up and gives me a hug, "You are such a slut, Anne. I didn't know you had it in you. I must be rubbing off on you."

  I give her an offended look, then we both burst out laughing. "Okay slut, lets go have a good time."

  We walk back to our table, to find them waiting for us.

  "Ready to go?" Ted asks.

  "Yes. Lets go have some fun," I reply.

  We walk out of the hotel with Ted and Dave. The club isn't to far away, but its really cold, so we decide to take a cab. We all pile into the back. My stomach is doing flip flops, being so close to this hunk of a man. I am partially on Ted's lap and he puts his arm around my mid section. I look into his eyes and smile at him. What the hell, if I'm going to do this, "I AM GOING TO DO THIS," I tell myself. I am going to enjoy Ted and the night. We shall see where this goes. I put my arms around his shoulders and lean close to his ear.

  "So has anyone ever told you how hot you are. Let's have some fun tonight." I whisper.

  He looks into my eyes and smiles. "I am all in, Anne."

  I smile back and he winks at me. We are at the club already, it was such a short drive. I am disappointed that the ride is over. I was starting to enjoy being so close to him.

  As we get out of the cab, Dave pays. Ted grabs my hand, helps me out of the cab and keeps holding my hand. It's nice , I feel like a teenager again. This is so exciting, I have butterflies in my stomach. Jaylah looks over and gives me the eyebrow wiggle. I laugh and smile back at her. She seems to be enjoying Dave's company herself, he has his arm around her waist. Jaylah doesn't do hand holding, never has, not even with Ben.

  We walk into the club and the music is booming. The dance floor is already in full bloom. I use to love going dancing. We would all go every weekend, before I had the girls.

  "Do you want a drink?" Ted yells, to be heard over the music.

  I nod my head. Ted and Dave walk up to the bar to get us drinks.

  Jaylah stands by me, "You okay?" she yells.

  I nod, "Yes." The guys come back with our drinks. We find a spot in the back and sit for a little bit with our drinks.

  I decide to be bold again. Between the music and the drinks, I am feeling good. I get up close and decide to go for it. I give him a kiss on the lips, not to strong, soft and pull back. He looks at me and smiles. He brushes his hands across my face and digs them into the back of my hair. He smiles then kisses me, strong and passionate. I groan when he slips his tongue into my mouth. God he tastes good, a mix of cinnamon and whiskey. His cologne smells unbelievably good.

  "Hey lets not get ahead of ourselves and go dance for a little while." He smiles and winks, as he pulls away from me.

  I am still spinning from the kiss and nod my agreement. I glance to the side to see Jaylah sitting on Dave's lap, with her hands fisted in his hair, kissing. Man Jaylah could give pointers to romance authors on how its done. I grab Ted's hand and he leads me to the dance floor.

  Jaylah and Dave join us out on the floor. Ted and I are all over each other. From the feel of him, he has a rocking body under those clothes. Dancing like this, rubbing up against each other, is great fore play. I have never danced like this with anyone. It puts, "Johnny and Baby's" dance scene to shame.

  After several hours of dancing and drinking. I am getting tired of being here, I look over at Ted.

  He leans over, "You want to get out of here?"

  I look over at Jaylah and point at my wrist. I don't wear a watch, but its the universal sign for time to go. She nods her head and she talks into Dave's ear. He nods his head in agreement.

  We all walk out of the bar together and grab a cab for the short trip back to our hotel. Jaylah looks over at me.

  "You guys can have our room. I will go back to Dave's, Okay?"

  I look over at Ted and he nods. "Okay, thanks JayJay."

  We get out of the cab and walk into the lobby of the hotel. Jaylah grabs my arm and pulls me to the side. The guys walk to the side and talk to each other.

  "Hey you still fine with all of this?" she asks.

  I smile widely, "Hell yeah. I am so horny at this point I had to restrain myself from jumping his bones in the cab."

  She starts laughing, "Okay, I wanted to make sure. Be safe and take this. I will talk to you in the morning." She puts something in my hand and gives me a kiss on the cheek.

  I look to see that she gave me a condom. Holy shit, didn't even think about that. Thank god, she thought about it. I walk over to Ted and grab his hand.

  "Ready to go upstairs," he asks.

  I nod my head and smile at him. I am nervous, yet excited at the same time. I have only been with Kyle, I am looking forward to what is coming, literally. I smile to myself, let the fun begin.

  As soon as the door shuts behind us, Ted grabs me and pulls me into a hard passionate kiss. My hands are all over him, I grab the bottom of his shirt and pull it up over his head. Oh god, he is better looking than I imagined. He grabs my shirt and pulls it over my head. He starts kissing the side of my neck as he works the back of my bra. I work on getting his jeans unbuttoned and pull down. He pulls my skirt down along with my panties, so I am standing there naked. I tug his underwear down and catch a look at him. God, he is beautiful. He obviously works out and takes care of himself. I start feeling a little self conscious about myself. I have only been naked in front of Kyle. I don't work out at the gym, but I try to take care of myself.

  Ted looks me over, "Your beautiful." I hand him the condom and he laughs. "I have some, too."

  We start kissing again and walk towards the beds. I get on the bed and he follows me. He lays on top of me, I love the feel of his weight. He starts kissing my neck, then my breast. He sucks on each of my nipples, I moan with pleasure. It's been so long since I have been touched. My whole body is on fire. He starts kissing me again.

  As he enters me, I grab his ass and squeeze. I wrap my legs around his middle and groan. We are kissing hard and he invades my mouth with his tongue. As our bodies move together, I feel my ecstasy building. I can tell that Ted is getting closer by the sounds that he is making. He buries his face in my neck and we explode together. I scream into his shoulder, and give him a little bite. We lay together like that for a while, until our breathing slows.

  He looks at me, smiles and gives me a sweet kiss. He gets up to go into the bathroom to discard the condom. When he comes back into bed, he wraps me in his arms and we fall asleep.

  I am awoken by kisses down my neck. I moan and turn, so that I can enjoy his lips throughly. As I am getting lost in our kissing, I hear something. Is that the door?

  "Okay bitches, time to get up!" Jaylah yells.

  I hear Ted laughing. I throw a pillow at her.

  "Hey.....watch it woman! You two get ready and meet Dave and me downstairs for breakfast."

  She grabs some clothes, throws them into her tote, then leaves. As quickly as she came in, she is gone. Like a tornado.

  "Well I guess, we better get ready." Ted says.

  I give him a thorough kiss and smile. "Yeah we better. If we keep Jay waiting to long, she will come back and drag us downstairs."

  "Okay, go shower. I need to grab some fresh clothes. I will come right back down to get you."

  I watch as he gets dressed. He turns, kisses me and leaves.

  I feel on top of the world. My steps our lighter, I needed this. I go into the bathroom to tak
e a shower. As I am washing up, I can't believe what I did last night. Ted is a great guy, in another time, it might have been different between us. But it makes for a fun weekend. I actually feel naughty and like it. I shake myself from my thoughts and hurry. I need to be ready by the time he gets back.

  As I am finishing up my make-up, there is a knock on the door. A smile comes across my face. I answer the door.

  "Hey beautiful, you ready for breakfast." Ted says.

  "I'm ready." I smile at him.

  He takes my hand and we walk down to the resturant. We find them at a table in the back. Jaylah waves us over, when she sees us.

  "Its about time, bitches," she says and we all laugh.

  I sit next to Jaylah and she winks at me. From under the table she grabs my hand and squeezes it. The waitress comes, takes our order and fills our cups with coffee. Ted looks at me, smiles and continues talking to Dave. Wyatt pops into my head, a frown comes across my face.

  "Are you okay?" Jaylah whispers into my ear.

  "Yeah, just to many thoughts in my head right now." I whisper back.

  I have to stop thinking of him, there is nothing there. Then my mind wanders to Kyle, I can't believe he did that to us. I know our marriage is over, but he should of at least respected what we had. He has been talking and texting her since he started his job at the airport. I am sure it started off innocent, but turned into what ever it is now. I am shaken from my thoughts, to Ted rubbing my arm.

  "Penny for your thoughts, beautiful?" he asks.

  I shake my head, "I was just thinking about my daughters, I miss them. Sorry."

  He gives me a serious look, "You have nothing to be sorry about. I miss my son all the time. I know how you feel."

  Jaylah interrupts our conversation, to ask what everyone's plans are for the day. The guys had plans to go to the "Hockey Hall of Fame." So we all decide we will meet back up for dinner tonight. I grab the bill for breakfast, before the guys and pay. Ted comes up to me and gives me a kiss.

  "I will see you tonight." he says.

  "Ok, see you tonight." I smile back at him.

  Jaylah comes and puts her arm around my shoulder, "So you little slut, how was your night?" she says, laughing.
