It's a Date

He steps back and puts his hands up, "You got it, man. Don't pee in front of her though. I asked her if she saw a fucking spider." He busts out laughing.

I laugh and turn to walk down the hall to my bedroom. "She's never called it a spider before."

I'VE GOT MY coffee and Heather's still brooding next to me. Her bottom lip is sticking out in a pout when our breakfast is brought to us. I notice she doesn't have bacon on her plate so I give her two of my four strips. "Eat up, baby, you're going to need your energy."

She looks up at me and silently puts them back on my plate. She's fucking pissed and I’m loving every minute of it. It's another side of her that I haven't seen before and I’m relishing it. Bring it on, ballerina. I can't help but smirk as I sip my coffee while Coen talks to me about someone who wants to buy my truck. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Heather reach over and take one of the pieces of bacon off my plate. That’s right, sassy toes, act like you're mad all you want. I’m figuring you out.

The waitress walks past and I get her attention, asking her for a side order of bacon. She nods and walks off. I look up just in time to see a man in a dark suit walk through the doorway.

  “Coen, is that Joel?”

Coen turns his head and waves to the man. “Yeah.”

He makes his way over to our table and we all exchange handshakes. "It's good to meet you, Joel."

"Same here, Noah. Would you mind if I joined you for some coffee?”

"No problem, man. Go for it."

Joel orders coffee when the waitress brings the extra side of bacon. I set it between myself and Heather before turning back to Joel. "Have you gotten any more updates?"

"Unfortunately not. The court is waiting on your piece of evidence."

"That makes sense." I hand him the binder that Heather takes out of her huge purse. I don't know why she doesn't just carry a backpack around. He takes it and randomly flips through it then nods.

"This is exactly what they need. Thank you, Noah."

"Nah, man, thank you. You've really been a lot of help."

I look down at my plate to grab a piece of bacon, but the three I had left on my plate are gone, as are the extra four pieces we got. Damn, my woman is a bacon whore.

"Would you like a copy of this binder before I turn it in as evidence?" Joel asks, as he stirs the creamer into his coffee.

"No. I don't plan on keeping anything of hers."

"I'm not going to argue with you about that again," he says, remembering how pissed I was about it on the phone a few weeks ago.

Coen must notice my unease so he pipes in, "So how've you been, you dipshit? I haven't seen you in a while. How's that blonde girl you were fucking?"

I'm thankful for the change in subject. Turning to Heather, and keeping my voice low, I ask, "So...are you going to stay mad at me all day?"

She's got the last piece of bacon in her hand and she's looking out the window, ignoring me, chewing slowly. Smiling, because she's cute as fuck like this, I lean down and take a bite of her bacon before she can pull it away.

She turns toward me and gapes. “Don’t eat my bacon.”

“Should I eat something else?” I tease as I nuzzle her neck. I smile against her skin when she huffs. I could eat her alive. "I'm not going to lie...you're fucking adorable when you're pissy."

She nudges me with her elbow and I pull away, looking down at her. "Don't make me beg, ballerina."

“What would you beg for?” she asks softly, while Joel and Coen talk about some woman sitting in the booth behind us, daring each other to ask her for her number.

Tilting her chin up, I run my thumb along her lower lip. "I'll beg for anything when it comes to you."

“Will you now?” she asks then feeds me the rest of the piece of bacon she’s holding.

I nod and chew. "Anything. Name it."

“Surprise me,” she says softly as her hand moves to my cock. I harden immediately.

I put my hand on top of hers and squeeze. Leaning down, I bury my nose in her hair, inhaling deeply. "I'm begging you...to stay mad at me all day because it fucking turns me on."

That gets a giggle out of her and I smile. “You smell so damn good, ballerina. I can’t wait to get you home alone.”

“Hey you two lovebirds, did you want to go out with us tonight? We’re hoping to pick up some easy ass,” Coen says.

I look down at Heather questioningly. "Up to you, ballerina."

“Can I think about it? You owe me something first.”

I wink down at my girl and nod.

“No problem, little lady,” Coen says as he and Joel get up, putting a fifty-dollar bill on the table. We’ll catch you two later. We’re going to tour New York City for a few hours.

"All right guys, thanks." I get up to shake Joel's hand before they leave. "Coen? You got a key, man? I’ll probably be at Heather’s.”

  “Nah, I don’t.”

I take my keys out of my pocket, removing my key from the ring and handing it to him, glad Heather has the extra one to my place.

He takes it and nods. "Later, you two." They walk out and I hold out my hand to help Heather up. "You ready to go back to my place?"

“I thought we were going to mine? My bed has more bounce to it.”

I laugh and pull her to me. "Your place it is."

  Noah

WE’VE BEEN AT it for hours. I’m not entirely sure what the time is either, but all I know is her pussy is wet, warm, and snug. I can’t get enough of her warmth engulfing my cock. We’re two individuals trying to work the other up before we both succumb to passion, which we’ve accomplished multiple times tonight. I’m so entirely consumed with her. When her phone vibrates on the nightstand, it’s the furthest thought in my mind. I want nothing but to make her happy, and to feel satisfied each time I fill her.

We’ve been coming together tonight and it’s hotter than the surface of the sun in her bedroom. She knows exactly when to slow down the tempo to allow me to focus on all of the sensations she gives me, as I’ve learned to do for her.

Our bodies are hot and tangled under the sheets when she bites my shoulder, silently asking for another round. I growl and move quickly so I’m hovering over her lean, naked body. I run my fingers down to her pussy, down the only strip of hair on her and to her clitoris.

She looks up at me as I enter her again. She’s so ready for me, ready to explode on me. I have to pause to gain control of my impending orgasm. Her petite hands move down the ridges of my body. She wants to touch me everywhere. Her hands wander up to my jaw and she pulls me closer to her so I can kiss her intimately. Every kiss of ours is full of such immense passion and need. Sure, I’ve kissed women before, but not like I’ve kissed my girl.

The spark and lust that I feel in every single kiss with her just makes me want another. It makes me want to bury myself in her, and not leave. She’s bewitched me, and I’m not going anywhere. No other woman has made me forget who I am. No other woman has made me want to forget who I am and be the man she needs me to be.

Our lips are locked together as she rocks her hips slightly, imploring me to progress. I comply and tilt my hips in a slow, rocking motion. My hands are braced above her head as I watch us move together. Her body lifts off of the mattress as I hit her deeply. She whimpers in delight with her eyes shut. She’s savoring every single movement.

  We’re no longer fucking.

We’re making love. She’s mine and I’m going to treat her right. I’m going to take care of her.

Though calm, we’re both yet so riled up as I rotate my hips, just how she likes it. Every single time we’ve been in a frantic frenzy trying to rip each other’s clothes off, wanting nothing more than to get lost in each other as fast as we can, as many times as we can, but this time is different.

We’re both taking it slow and relishing every inch, every tight muscular motion we make against each other. Her eyes open slowly as she blinks up at me.

“You feel so amazing that I don’
t want it to end.”

Smirking, I say, “We can go as long as you want or need to.”

“You’re one of a kind, Noah.”

  “Just for you, ballerina.”

She hums her approval then squeezes my biceps. “You belong to me. Completely.”

“As you do to me. Don’t forget that.”

Her nipples end in hard peaks and her skin is drenched in sweat from all of our action. She pushes her body up to mine. She wants me closer, so I still…then slowly pull out of her before lying down on my side and moving her in front of me. I push into her again while I’m spooning her, her back to my front as my hands roam around to cup her remarkable tits.

“Is this what you wanted? My hands on you?”

“How did you know?” she answers breathlessly.

“I’ve been paying close attention to my baby’s needs.”

She leans back against me as I move inside of her. Her walls enclose my shaft, squeezing me. Licking the shell of her ear, I whisper, “Come with me, baby. Let me feel that pussy pulse.”

The moan that escapes her lips is almost my undoing. Her entire body stiffens in my arms, and then she shakes and quivers as waves hit her repeatedly. I join her. My balls seize up and I explode into her, her quivering pussy swallowing what I give her.

She’s breathing heavily when her body goes limp in my arms, but I can still feel her pulsing down the length of my shaft.

  “You are so beautiful, Heather.”

She sighs contently in my arms as I kiss the back of her head. I move while inside of her, pulling her on top of me. She leans up for a kiss and I give it to her before she rests her head back down on my chest and shuts her eyes.

“My showcase is tomorrow. You should…” she yawns lazily “…invite Coen and Joel.”

“Will do, ballerina.” I reach over to the nightstand and find my phone, quickly sending a group text to the guys.

Hey fuckers. Heather’s charity showcase is tomorrow and is being held to raise awareness of anorexia. Proceeds will go to the foundation called KMB for Answers. 7 p.m. David H. Koch Theatre.

Moments later my phone buzzes while I’m half asleep. Two messages—the first is from Joel.

  I’ll be there.

  And another from Coen.

Count me in. There better be some gorgeous women at this place.

  Joel replies to Coen.

Calm your boner, asshole. I’m sitting right next to you.

  Coen shoots back.

Enjoy the redhead on your lap and shut up.

I laugh and type another message.

  Manwhores. Have a good evening.

I put my phone on silent then shut my eyes, falling into a deep sleep with my girl safe on top of me.

  Heather

  February 11th.

THE THEATRE IS jam-packed for the charity showcase. I’m standing at the edge of the curtain that’s hiding all of the performers from the audience’s view. After a few minutes of searching I find Noah at last. He’s looking directly at me and winks from the fifth row on the orchestra level. My Greek god is fitted out in a specially tailored tux with a dusty pink button down shirt. It fits him perfectly and shows off all of his yummy muscles. He had to pin me down and stop me from ripping the crap out of the tux when he was finally dressed. I always want him. I’ve never wanted a man so much in my life.

He’s the epitome of all men. And all mine.

I'm falling hard for this man. Crap. I can't even think about that right now. Taking a deep breath to steady my thinking, I turn around and almost run right into Nik. Ugh. I step around him and the three girls who are falling over themselves to get his attention. I'm looking all over the place for Dillen; she's here somewhere.

“Heather Lane. You stop in your tracks right this second!” I hear Dillen yell out and I turn to see her in her full costume.

  “Dillen!”

Dillen Ascher and I have danced together for seven years, and apart from Dani, I call her my best friend. She’s about my height, but she has gorgeous mahogany curls with freckles all over her nose. I call her my twin because we finish each other’s sentences and say the same things at the same time. We’re like an old married couple: we bicker over the most trivial things.

She’s been dancing for the Royal Ballet in London, which has been my ultimate career goal. I’ve wanted to dance in the Royal Opera House for as long as I can remember. My mother, Ayla, always said that if I kept on my toes, I could do anything. I’ve done exactly that, literally and figuratively.

She runs up to me and we collide in a hug. "Eeeek!” I screech. “I miss you! When did you get back into town?”

“Heather, I’ve missed you so, so much! I’m so sorry I haven’t called you. I’ve been so incredibly busy in London. That and the time difference sucks.”

She’s squeezing the life out of me. I hope she’s not smearing her makeup on my white costume. "Ohh...that's okay, sweetie. We've got to go out soon—I've got so much to tell you."

“So let’s go out tonight. I need a drunken night out on the town with my bestie. GIRLS NIGHT!” She yells it a little too loudly and gets a ‘shh!’ from a ballet mistress.

I clap excitedly. "YES!" The lights flicker and we let go of each other's hands. "Okay, meet me in my dressing room after the show. I want you to meet someone."

“Someone?” she whispers excitedly while walking away from me. “He’d better have a friend.”

I laugh quietly and take my place, hoping that Noah will be okay with my having to dance with Nik once again.

I’m the opening act in front of all of these people. Please, please don’t let me fall. The stage goes dark as the curtains open and music starts. Showtime.

Giselle has been one of my favorite dances. In the ballet world, it's a favorite amongst many. I'm playing a young, beautiful peasant girl being wooed by Nik's character. I've been focused for the first five minutes of my solo, but now...now Nik has taken the stage with me. Even though I can't see him, I can feel his storm—Noah's—as he watches me dance with Nik. Nik is truly an amazing dancer, but his personality kills everything he has going for him. I've been playing my part to the tee, but Nik seems to be adding extra touches here and there. They're not part of the choreography and it's throwing me off. I can't take any more. I try to think of my Noah—it's his hands on me, he's the one wooing me, but it's not working. Nik has such a negative vibe, and Noah is nothing but positive. I know that Noah can sense my unease, even from where he sits. I can't hide anything from him, even if I tried. I'm really giving thought to quitting this ballet company and looking for another—anything to get away from Nik.

I'm waiting for the orchestra to finish their piece so I can go backstage. I love this particular charity and this is all for a great cause, but I wish I had declined taking the lead role for this.

When my dance ends there is a deafening round of applause that fills the theatre. Looking out at the audience, I see they are actually getting up out of their seats.

  A standing ovation? For us?

Nik signals to me and steps back. The spotlight falls directly on me and I swear the applause gets louder. A standing ovation...for me? I swallow hard and move offstage as I'm supposed to. The audience isn't supposed to applaud until the very end.

Holy crap! I'm standing against a wall backstage with a bottle of water, catching my breath. What just happened? I've never received a standing ovation before. I'm lost in thought when suddenly Nik steps in front of me.

  "Impressive, Heather."

I glance up and force a smile. "Thanks, you too," I say, faking all of my enthusiasm toward this jerk.

He leans against the wall beside me and grins. Emphasizing his accent, he adds, "You and I make a great team."

I shake my head and toss the empty water bottle in the trash. "I think that's the last time, Nik."

"Last time? Lanie, what are you talking about?" He grabs my wrist and forces me to face him.

"Would you stop calling me that?"r />
His grin sickens me. "You used to love my nickname for you."

"That time has passed," I respond and am relieved to hear Dillen's shrill voice before I see her.

"My bestie!" She rounds the corner and swallows me in a hug.

Thankfully Nik backs off and she pulls me down the hall to my dressing room. "Heather! Holy hell, you amazing little shit! How did that feel? Was it amazing? Hell, I had goose bumps when they stood for you." She fires off the words rapidly as we descend the dark hall.

I can't help but giggle with her. She's always been a huge supporter of mine. We get into my dressing room and she shuts the door. "Listen, I heard my mistress talking to one of the Royal Ballet's other mistresses and they were talking about you. I think you're a shoo-in. You could come live with me in London."

My jaw drops. "WHAT? Me? Why would they want me?"

She scoffs. "Are you kidding me? Do you have any idea how many studios are going to offer you a contract after that performance?" She sits down on the pink chair and smiles up at me. “You've gotten better than me. Your jumps are higher, and you're so much more graceful. What gives?"

I smile shyly. "I've been stretching a lot more."

"Stretching, huh? Why don't I believe you?" She sticks out her tongue at me and I toss my blush brush at her.

"Okay, fine. I'm seeing someone…" I stick out my tongue back at her.

"What? Give me all the damn details, you little shit." She jumps up and pulls my hand so I'm sitting down next to her.

I'm finally getting to gush about my man and I let it all spill as quickly as it can spew out of my mouth.

"He's the yummiest, sexiest Greek god. All muscle. He's going to be an attorney. He’s constantly studying for his bar exam, and the sex...is un-freaking-believable. I can't get enough. He makes me come so many times each night that I forget my name. I forget how to count. Oh my..." I cover my face because I'm so embarrassed. "Don't judge me, Dill."
