“Trevor is going to go to jail for a night and put on probation. You also served him. I consider he got enough punishment,” I explained.
“I’m just so angry right now that I’m somewhat insane!”
“Baby, please don’t do anything stupid. Trevor is nothing.”
“He hurt you! I don’t want to ever see that asshole again or I’m going to beat his face into the asphalt and then he’ll blend in with the road!” Kaden said ferociously.
“My goodness, Kaden! That’s a little too much!”
“No, it’s not! Not for what he did to you. It’s pure payback.”
“It’s pure evilness!”
“He should have thought about what he did. Don’t defend the jerk!”
“I’m not! I don’t want you to go to jail! He is worthless, a total looser!”
“I’m sorry, Sara, I should have gone against you and went. I regret not being there to defend you.”
“Kaden, you can’t go everywhere I go. I should have punched him the first time he touched me, instead I let him touch me,” I sobbed.
“It’s taken care of now. Don’t blame yourself. I don’t blame you. You were scared witless, you froze. I’m just glad you are safe. Who knows what he would have done.”
“I’m glad I’m safe too, here by your side.”
“I love you so much! I would kill for you,” he said as he rose up and kissed me. Then he walked over toward the bathroom door. “I’m going to take the pugs outside. Will you be alright in here by yourself?”
“I’m sure I’ll manage.”
Kaden left. I heard him calling the pugs and shutting the door as they went outside. I lay in the tub having flash backs as to what had happened in the library. I wished I had punched him as soon as he kissed me neck then he would be getting into major trouble. That’s alright though because he at least got into some trouble for what he did. Now he knows not to mess with me or to try this on another girl. I felt like contacting Lucy for what Trevor did to me, but I knew she would find out once he was served with papers.
I finished bathing and then I dressed for bed. I slowly strolled into the living room and sat on the couch. Kaden walked inside with the pugs and sat beside me on the couch. Coco jumped up in my lap while Sadie lay on her bed. I petted and hugged Coco.
“Are you hungry?” Kaden asked me.
“I am. What are you cooking?” I joked.
Kaden chuckled. “Whatever is on your menu?”
I grinned. “In that case may I please have some potato salad on lettuce with grilled chicken?”
Kaden stood up and bowed crossing his arm at his waist. “My pleasure. Dinner will be served shortly.” He rose up and kissed me. I laughed as he walked into the kitchen.
I put Coco on the floor as I stood up and walked over to the kitchen table. I sat down as
Kaden cooked dinner.
“Can’t trust me?” Kaden joked.
I smiled. “Of course I can. I just didn’t want to sit in the living room all by myself,” I claimed.
“Well, I’m glad you came to entertain me,” Kaden grinned.
“Do you want to watch a movie in the living room while we eat dinner?”
“Sure. What do you want to watch?”
“I was thinking about putting in AMISH GRACE or THE LAKE HOUSE.”
“Both movies are wonderful. It’s a hard choice.”
“I’ll make it easy then, we’ll watch both.”
Kaden grinned. “That does narrow it down. Are you feeling alright now?”
“I don’t want to talk about it anymore.”
“I’m just worried about you.”
“Kaden, please just leave it be.”
“Alright. I’m sorry. So when are you and Anna going to the spa?”
“Oh! I almost forgot about that.”
“Good thing I mentioned it, huh?”
“I will call her and see if she can still go.”
“Alright, I’ll just be here cooking dinner,” Kaden sighed jokingly.
I grinned as I stood up and strolled into the bedroom to retrieve my cell phone. I telephoned Anna as I sat on the end of the bed.
“Hello?” Anna answered.
“Anna! This is Sara,” I responded.
“Oh, how have you been?”
“I’ve been doing wonderful! Expect for today.”
“Uh, oh! What happened?”
“I went to the library today. Trevor and Lucy were sitting outside on the steps. I walked right by them and seated myself in the back of the library where I would be alone with no distractions, so I could study for my sol’s-”
“I’m sorry to cut you off. But you should never sit in the back alone.”
“Why?”
“That area of the library is known as the make out spot.”
“Why am I the last to find this out? I have lived in this town since the day I was born and I never heard of that.”
“It’s the new thing.”
I huffed. “Well, anyway I was sitting back there minding my own business when Trevor decided to intrude. He kissed on me and proceeded to touch my private area. He did however touch my breast and that was only because I got my courage back and punched him in his face. He told me he would make me pay for hitting him.”
“WHAT! That boy is insane! Kaden could break his flicked ass in half.”
I laughed heartily. “Oh, Anna, you and Kaden should be siblings.”
“Why?”
“Because he wants to beat Trevor into the asphalt.”
Anna laughed historically. “That would be awesome!”
I giggled. “You two are vicious.”
“Hey, he sexually assaulted you and that don’t roll with me. You are my best friend so if anyone hurts you. You best believe I’m going to whoop their ass.”
“Oh, my goodness!”
“So, what did you do about this?”
“I called the cops and they said since I didn’t push him off of me from the start that they couldn’t really do anything about that. But when I punched him for touching my breast, they will put Trevor in jail for a night for sexual harassment and put him on probation. Kaden also served him papers where he can’t come fifty-feet near me.”
“Let Trevor come fifty-feet near you so he can go to jail.”
I sighed. “You are crazy!”
“I’m glad you are safe though.”
“I wanted to ask you if you are still able to go to the spa.”
“Oh shoot! I absolutely forgot about that! I planned a date with Rick,” Anna solemnly explained.
“Oh, it’s alright. We’ll do it another time.”
“Are you sure? I can cancel the date.”
“Oh, no, I don’t expect you to do that.”
“I can go on a date with Rick whenever I want, but I barely get to hang out with you.”
“I’m serious. Don’t cancel the date.”
“Okay, I love you girl and don’t ever let me hear Trevor hurting you again because I will hold up to what I said I would do to him.”
I giggled. “I will. Love you too girl.”
“Bye. Have a great night.”
“You too. Bye.” We hung up. I strolled into the kitchen. Kaden was just starting to fix our plates.
Kaden glanced at me as he smiled. “I thought you’d never get off the Phone,” he joked.
I giggled. “Anna was so mad about what Trevor did,” I stated.
“She was! I thought you didn’t want to talk about it anymore?”
“I don’t, but I can’t keep that from Anna.”
“I can reason with that. So are you two still going to the spa?”
“No, she forgot and made plans to
go on a date with Rick.”
“That’s a bummer.”
“We’ll do it another time.”
Kaden placed my dinner plate in front of me. I stood up as I picked up my plate and grabbed a fork. I sat down on the couch with my plate waiting for Kaden. Once he came into the living room he put in AMISH GRACE. Then he sat beside me to eat. The pugs begged us for nibbles.
After a while the movie went off and I had tear stained cheeks. I dried them and then
Kaden put in THE LAKE HOUSE. I fell asleep on Kaden as we watched the movie.
The next day was Sunday. I just sat around the house fiddling with my Ipad. I ended up buying two series that I really loved. They are: The Twilight Saga Series and The House
Of Night Series.
I’ve read these books before, but I could read them time and time again. They were so good.
Even though Kaden got the restraining order and community service against Trevor it scared me to go out by myself. But to get over this I needed to go back to the place where the incident happened.
Kaden sat beside me. “Are you okay?” Kaden asked.
I sighed as I put my Ipad on the table. “I’m fine just scared Trevor will still try and do something to me,” I answered sadly.
“He’s not allowed to come fifty-feet near you. If he does then he goes to jail.”
“Well, that isn’t going to stop him. He’s going to jail for one night.”
Kaden laughed. “I know. You will be fine. Please don’t worry. You have things in your favor.”
I smiled. “Yeah. Do you want some lunch?”
“Sure.” He kissed my forehead. “Life without you would totally he boring”
I laughed. “Really? I thought I was totally boring,” I joked.
“Not a chance in the seven moons”
“God I love you!”
“You don’t even know how much I love you!”
“And why’s that?”
“Because I love you too much to ever explain it. But I sure can show it.” he raised his eyebrows up and down at me. “What do you say, Babe?”
I pushed him away playing. “Stop it you sexy thing you.”
He moved back over next to me and started messing with my hair. “I can’t help myself.”
We chuckled. “Oh, Kaden, You are something else.”
“Am I?” he raised his eyebrows up and down again.
I got up and walked into the kitchen laughing. He followed me.
“Are we playing a game now?” I asked as I began to cook hotdogs and tator tots for lunch. He grabbed me and pushed me against the counter.
“Do you want to play a game?” he asked sexily.
“I do if you do.”
“Do I?”
“I don’t know? You tell me.”
We started kissing, getting hot and heavy. Then he strolled away.
“I’m sorry. I need to take the pugs outside.”
I laughed and meanly stared at him. “Is that your plan, to get me hot and bothered and then walk away?”
“I’m not sure yet, but you have cooking to do.”
He called the pugs to follow him outside. Once he shut the door I pulled myself together and continued cooking lunch. After a couple of minutes Kaden came inside with the pugs running in after him.
“They look excited. What did you do to them while you were out there?” I questioned.
“They wanted to play so I chased them around and they became excited.”
“I don’t believe you.”
“Okay, fine. They saw someone else’s dog and chased it. I had to chase them to get them to stop.”
“Okay, that’s more like it,” I laughed.
He sat down huffing. “How’s lunch coming along?”
“Fine. I don’t think I’m going to feed you though.”
“And why not?”
“Because you made me hot and bothered.”
He chuckled. “That’s the point.”
“I’ll teach you for doing that to me.”
“Will you now?”
“I sure will,” I smiled. He sat at the table watching me cook. One lunch was cooked I fixed our plates. As I ate I noticed Kaden was staring at me. “What are you staring at me for?”
He sighed and started eating. “Just thinking about our future and what it’ll be like.”
“Can I ask you something?”
“Sure.”
“Why are you always thinking about our future?”
“Because I can’t wait for it.”
“What about now though, are you not happy with me now?”
“Oh, Sara, I’m happy with you now. I just like to think of our future, is that any harm to you?”
“No. Not at all.”
“Do you ever think of our future?”
“Once in a while, but not as much as you do.”
We smiled at each other as we finished eating. He helped me wash and put away the dishes. Then we went outside with the pugs and sat on the bench overlooking the lake. I laid my head on Kaden’s shoulder, enjoying the view and time with him.
He sighed and placed his arm around me. “I’m going to miss this,” he announced.
“Miss what?” I questioned.
“Time with you. I’ll cherish it always.”
I smiled at him letting him know I liked that he will cherish our time together. We sat there not speaking, but enjoying each other’s company. I sure hoped we could spend more time together than what I anticipate. But no matter how much I see him; I know he will make every minute count and so will I.

Almost Summer Vacation
I couldn’t believe summer was almost here. Next year I would be in 12th grade instead of 11th. Then from there on my life would go from complicated to overwhelming. Getting married right out of school was a big step for me. I loved Kaden, so I know I had made the right choice, and now I was getting excited about marrying Kaden, but I didn’t think I was as excited as Kaden was.
School sols went well. They were harder this year, but I had a feeling I did well. Kaden had planned our weekend trip to Rome. We would leave Friday after I got out of school.
Then we would leave Rome Monday morning.
I had a meeting with Alyssa Sunday. My wedding plans were going great. I had completed everything; expect the flowers, dresses and tuxes. I planned on ordering the dresses and tuxes Saturday.
“What’s for Dinner tonight?” Kaden asked as he walked into the kitchen as I took out a tray of ribs.
“We are having ribs, corn, mashed potatoes and rolls,” I responded.
“Sounds really good! What are your plans for this weekend?”
“I am ordering the dresses and tuxes tomorrow. Sunday I have a meeting with
Alyssa.”
“How are the plans coming along for the wedding?”
“Everything is complete expect for purchasing the flowers, tuxes and dresses.”
“I’m glad to hear that. But amazed you are moving so fast with the plans.”
“Well, I’m excited to marry you! We don’t have long to get everything done.”
I looked at Kaden after I finished putting all the food on the stove. He was staring at me.
I laughed. “Am I that interesting?”
He smiled at me as he rose up and wrapped his arms around me and we kissed. “I’m so glad you’re going to be my wife.”
“And I’m glad you’re going to be my husband. That sounds so great!” I smiled.
He grinned as we kissed again. After we ate our scrumptious dinner we lounged on the couch as we watched TV.
I gathered my ladies and Kaden gathered his gentlemen for fittings today. My bridesmaids were
Susie, Anna Marie, Kaden’s three sisters which I had yet to meet, but would meet them today. The youngest was Tina, the middle was Diane and the oldest was Hannah.
Kaden’s groomsmen were Anna’s boyfriend, Rick. Kaden’s four brothers. Two of the four were twins which were Matt and Lewis; they were the oldest. Brad the middle and Dan was the youngest.
I hadn’t met any of Kaden’s siblings or other relatives expect for his parents and Hannah. I don’t know why I never asked Kaden about his family history. I guess I was just waiting for him to tell me.
“Hello, my name is, Sally. Welcome to Bridal Bliss. How can I help you?” She greeted everyone.
“I’m getting married!” I screeched.
Sally grinned. “That’s all I needed to know. Who is the groom?”
“Me,” Kaden stepped forward outstretching his hand.
Sally shook his hand. “Nice to meet you. I will be taking the gentlemen to fit you for tuxes and this here is Laura who will be helping the bridesmaids,” Susie said as Laura stepped beside her.
“Nice to meet you. Who’s the bride?” Laura asked.
“I am! My name is Sara,” I replied excitedly.
Laura smiled. “Follow me and we’ll get you started.” As we sat down Laura stood in front of us and peered at me and my bridesmaids. “May I ask your names?” After my bridesmaids told Laura their names she looked at me. “What sort of dress are you looking for?”
“I’m going to get a reception dress too,” I replied.
Laura smiled. “That’s fine. How about you come with me so we can find you a wedding dress.” Laura gestured for me to follow her.
I tried on about ten dresses before I found the one. All the girls were speechless when I walked out in my white strapless dress that hugged my body down to my waist. The dress had exquisite bead work on the upper area. The bottom part of the dress had a long train with gorgeous fake white flowers. It costed one-thousand-fifty dollars!
As the girls admired my dress Kaden’s sisters looked so much like Kaden.
Tina looked like she could be Kaden’s twin, but she didn’t have the upbeat cheerful attitude Kaden had. She had more of a, I’m better than you attitude. Tina was slim and tall with long glossy brown hair styled with a small hat that sat on the side of her head. She was styled in a beautiful strapless abstract watercolor sheath dress paired with black leather gladiator heels, and I must say she looked stunning!
