Laura Thalassa. I’m so blessed to have you along on this journey. Your honesty, your enthusiasm, and your incredible eye; with your wedding, your umpteen books released, you still got your feedback and your love for this “baby” back to me as well. As you know, I’m scared, scared of writing a single novel without your touch. I’m so thankful I didn’t have to this time either!

Angela McPherson, you’re the newest of my author friends and CPs. I’m so excited to have met you and to be working with you. Thank you for betaing this nutty novel, for your awesome turnaround time, and for the invaluable feedback. More novels coming your way, girl. Just sayin’.

Cheryl McIntyre. Again, I go pink-cotton-ball-soft inside just thinking of you. Your friendship, your input, your mentorship from my very first novel through Adrenaline means the world to me. It’s no secret that each book you write finds a home among my all-time favorites. Your eye is uncanny, and like with everything I write, Adrenaline developed and grew because of you. Thank you for finding poetry in my words, for seeing the message, for loving each book I write more than the former. I am blessed to have you as my author bestie.

Dawn Decker. I told you once what an incredible editor I saw in Cheryl’s books. I feel so fortunate to have you read and suggest edits to mine! You discover details no one else finds. You hoist my work that extra step up. Thank you for always being there for me!

Alexandra Lyngstad. My sweet girl, thanks for reading and loving this book too! For your honesty, for saying that Adrenaline is so real, the story could have been true.

April Martin. You’ve read all of my books, loved, and hated my characters. Adrenaline is your first of mine as a beta reader. Thank you for cursing at Bo, for laughing at Ingela, and for loving the sweet, crazy boy that is Cameron. I adore your comments!

Renee McMillan. You have betaed every one of my books. I adore you for your excitement and feedback. I am so lucky to have you with me on this adventure. My favorite moments together are our reading lunches, where you sink into your seat, hiding your iPad from potential witnesses while you read “those scenes” in my manuscripts. You make me laugh.

Rachel Spurlock. I’m thrilled to have you as my beta reader and excited that you loved my crazy Cameron too. Thank you for all of your encouragement!

Sunniva’s Angels. Oh my sweet group of loving ladies who patiently listen to my rants and my euphorias. Thank you for being there for me. Soon I’ll be meeting some of you in person at the signings. I can’t wait!

  To my readers:

I bow my head to you.

It is for you—you—that I write. Thank you.

  xoxo

I’m originally from Norway and moved to the United States in 2001. I have a Master’s degree in languages and taught Spanish at college level before settling in as an adviser at an art college in the South.

I write New Adult fiction with soul and purpose. Sometimes it’s with a paranormal twist—like in “Shattering Halos” and in ”Stargazer” published by The Wild Rose Press, but mostly it’s contemporary New Adult like in “Pandora Wild Child,” “Leon’s Way,” and now, “Adrenaline.”

I adore writing impulsive heroines, bad-boys, and good-boys running amok. Intense love, physical and emotional attraction beyond what the brain can rationalize—sensory overload for the reader as well as for the characters. Like in real life, I hope to keep you on your toes until the end of each story.

Writing this, I have four projects in the works. A secret project to look for in July 2015, The Sweetest Innocence (Bo’s story), coming December 2015, an even more secret project coming in 2016, and Katsu’s story (no title), also coming in 2016.
