Kristina peeked up at her brother while they spun between the antique furnishings on Ian’s jet. Ian’s angular jaw and wideset brown-grey eyes reminded Kristina of a beautifully sculpted statue. She saw her brother glance down, noticing his eyes had changed from grey-brown to grey-blue as they twirled. Kristina’s breath caught her in throat and she laid her head back onto him to hide her surprise. Her mind continued to run rampant with her fantasies about being with him. She wanted to know how Ian felt when he slipped inside her…and if his kisses burned when he tasted her dewy skin…

  What was wrong with her?

Kristina had to stop thinking about Ian; but she couldn’t hide from the truth.

Kristina wanted to make love with her brother, Ian Knight!

  Chapter 3

Kristina felt her brother’s hands circle her waist.

The waltz they swayed changed tempo. Ian twirled Kristina around his body as he remained still. Her skirt fluttered about her legs as she arced from Ian’s right side, back to his left.

When she thought she couldn’t dance another step, the music stopped.

Kristina continued to twirl until she met her stepbrother at a standstill. The hem of her skirt dropped against her legs and her hands collapsed into Ian. She gazed up and she noticed Ian had a dimple near the cleft of his chin. Ian’s lips looked full and inviting. Kristina looked away but Ian drew her back, holding her to his chest.

“Don’t resist,” Kristina felt her brother’s breaths over her throat. “Don’t be afraid.”

Kristina didn’t want to accept what her sibling said. She ‘should’ be perhaps, very afraid. She knew Ian Knight was as aggressive and he was single-minded. Yet tonight, he was…different.

  ***

“Not of your heart.” Kristina felt her brother lift her hair as he kissed the back of her neck.

“Or how you feel. Nothing will happen unless you say it will.”

Ian hugged Kristina and she felt his hard, muscled body as his erection inched along the lower curve of her spine.

“Neither of us will ever have be alone again, Krissy.

“That is—,” Ian said as his dipped his lips toward the open V of her blouse under her sweater. “If you will have me.”

Ian grazed her throat with his firm, male tongue and a small gasp escaped Kristina’s lips.

How could Ian know what or how she felt? When she barely knew those things herself?

Kristina believed she had given her heart to Finn or, at least, a part of herself. Kristina thought she and Finn had spent a wonderful weekend together and she Finn had started to become close. They’d made love.

Then Finn left a note for her. Kristina opened it, thinking Finn had some brief explanation why he couldn’t stay. Finn wrote he would see Kristina when she got back from Six Flags and they would meet in New York, or maybe Georgia. Then she never heard from him. No matter how she tried to make a new life for herself, things always turned out the same…

Everyone she cared about always left.

  ***

Here Kristina was with Ian, and she couldn’t help how desperately she wanted him. She thought he was going to force her to sleep with him.

That was what happened when she was at her parents’ house when she was little. Her parent’s ‘friend’ had held down and he had used repeatedly. Kristina miscarried a short while later and never told anyone what happened.

Only Ian wasn’t behaving how Kristina believed he would. Her brother wasn’t trying to coerce her to do anything except to be herself. When she and Ian were in Miami, she was convinced Ian wanted to use her. She thought he wanted to do the same thing again when he crashed her company’s book signing party.

Now Ian had surprised her. Clearly he cared about her; he had gone to great lengths to come to his Knightware plane. Kristina tried not to imagine how Ian was the same Alpha male who swiped unlocked pickup trucks when they were kids. She hadn’t considered how Ian must have used the same passion to build his massive billion-dollar software empire. Few men could say they achieved something so amazing.

Maybe her stepbrother was trying to give her what he’d promised he would when they were little…

Was Ian trying truly to show her he could give her and himself the life they’d never been allowed to have..?

Kristina glanced at Ian and she could see he was different somehow. He hadn’t been trying to control her…he had bared his soul to her.

Ian had unlocked the chains around her heart.

Was what she was thinking really the truth?

Did Ian Knight want her and only her..?

Storybooks filled with fairytales always had a knight—or a prince, who braved sky and earth to find his princess. Kristina thought about all the times her stepbrother tried to reach out to her—and she realized she had pushed him away because she had a hard heart.

Ian said he knew what she wanted, and what he said was true.

Kristina didn’t have to be ashamed about being with her stepbrother Ian. She knew she had been punishing herself because she was drawn to Ian’s masculine desire.

  Chapter 4

Ian’s heart pulsed against Kristina as she swayed with him in the cabin of his jet. The curve of Kristina’s shoulders brushed against his hard pectorals. He hugged his stepsister close, wondering if she could sense the rise and fall of his chest with as they danced. Kristina wrapped herself in her own arms as she and Ian lolled together gently. Ian realized his sister must have been replaying memory of the last waltz by Tchaikovsky through her mind.

Ian folded his arms over Kristina’s arms and he rocked side to side. Kristina rested her head back onto Ian chest as they lilted to their own secret rhythm.

  ***

Kristina tipped her head forward noticing the cabin was still. Her body rocked with Ian as he held her.

“Play it again.” Kristina said softly.

Ian bent his head to his sister and he asked her to repeat her request.

“The Tchaikovsky. The waltz. Can Ian play it again?”

Ian lifted his head as he whispered to Kristina. “Listen and then do what I do.”

Kristina continued to drift side to side with Ian and she listened.

Ian raised his voice. “Tchaikovsky, Opus 66. Sleep Beauty.”

The waltz by the Russian composer began to play.

Kristina looked up at Ian and she smiled. “Oh, that’s wonderful.”

“Listen again.” Kristina nodded almost imperceptibly and Ian spoke.

  “Pause.” The music stopped.

  “Play.” The waltz began again.

Ian glanced at Kristina. “Now you try.”

Kristina instructed the hidden music player to perform the 1889 waltz again and again.

Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 began to play and Ian turned with his sister through the jet cabin when the plane bounced.

Kristina bumped into Ian and they landed onto the Queen Anne sofa. Kristina’s legs tangled with her brother’s torso and they hit the floor with a thud.

Ian’s private attaché Grace entered the cabin from a side door.

“Is everything all right, Mr. Knight?”

The attaché-stewardess saw Kristina sitting on top of her brother’s chest and she covered her mouth. Kristina’s skirt had lifted partway up her legs.

“Miss Layne and I are learning to waltz.”

Kristina turned her head to the side hoping the attendant couldn’t see her smiling.

“Yes, Mr. Knight. Ring if you need—anything.” Grace closed the door to a side cabin and Kristina looked at Ian.

“I can’t believe your stewardess almost walked in on us.”

Ian lay on his elbows, and his suit rumpled from his calves to his waist.

“At least we made it through the concerto.”

Kristina swatted at Ian and he laughed.

  “It’s not funny.”

Ian grabbed Kristina’s wrists and he flipped himself up making her tumble onto the antique sofa. Kr
istina’s head bobbed onto an assortment of cushiony paisley pillows. Music began to play and Kristina realized she recognized the intro. “Shh,” she told Ian.

  “Tchaikovsky. Polonaise Opera. Play.”

Ian looked down and he frowned. “But it already started.”

“I want to hear it again, from the beginning. Is that a problem, Ian Knight?” Kristina cocked her eyebrows. .

“Pardon me, mademoiselle.” Ian bowed in his suit and the jet lurched again, nearly making him wearing fall on top of his sister.

“Oh, gosh, your clothes are all a mess. Here, take this off.” Kristina pulled on Ian’s jacket sleeves.

Ian wrested free of his suit coat and he knelt beside the antique sofa. “There. Satisfied?”

  “Don’t be a smartass.”

Kristina sat up when Ian placed his hands on his hips. His lean, masculine body stretched against his linen dress shirt tautly. She loved imagining how hot he looked without his clothes. His biceps were big and he had rock had abs. She wondered if he was always this fit, because he was certainly handsome. The five o’clock shadow he had only made him hotter. Kristina looked away when she saw Ian staring back. She turned to him again and she bit her lower lip.

“Now this,” Kristina yanked on his shirt cuffs.

Ian dark eyes flashed hotly when she reached for his dress shirt.

“My shirt? Ian watched Kristina tug on his shirt insistently and he made a face. Why?”

Ian saw his stepsister cross her arms he leapt to action. He unbuttoned his shirt from the collar to the shirttails, then he shrugged out of the fabric and he tossed it to the carpeted cabin floor.

  “There. Happy now?”

Kristina marveled at her stepbrother’s build. She couldn’t see if Ian was hard still, but she could see the ripples on his stomach and the solid muscle that covered his shoulders and his chest. Oh, she was better than ‘happy’—her body had started to tingle.

  Chapter 5

Her brother knelt above the hand-stitched sofa seat and Kristina touched his sculpted planes above his navel.

Reclining on the sofa as flew to Paris, Kristina glanced into Ian’s eyes. Her stepbrother gazed into her emerald eyes and she realized she couldn’t resist Ian’s amorous affections any more than she could stop her heart from beating.

Kristina hooked her forefinger between Ian’s lower abdominals and his pants and she yanked. Her brother dropped on top of her, his face shocked with surprise.

Ian figured his little sis was tugging at his shirt and pants because he gotten them rumpled.

  “Kris, what are you doing?”

A fast shrug out his suit jacket and his dressing shirt following his sister’s command, and Ian thought she would be pleased. Ian had wanted to steal his stepsister away from Finn Matthews, so he could demonstrate his affection. He hadn’t planned on Kristina not trying to run.

She’d done the opposite of everything he imagined she’d try—and she was exciting him to the brink of ecstasy.

  ***

Ian tried to remain still as Kristina caressed his pecs and his shoulders with her fingertips. He wanted to give her whatever she asked. Even if it meant holding himself back from reaching for her and taking her on his $30,000 Queen Anne sofa while they rode high in the sky.

Ian wondered how Kristina knew where to touch him. She seemed to sense where all of his erogenous zones were by instinct.

How did she know how eagerly he wanted to be objectified and exactly where he wanted her to caress and grope him?

He lay on the sofa beside Kristina; Kristina rested her hand on his naked chest and she held it there. Ian couldn’t remember when he had felt this close to his sister—not since they were kids. Kristina had let him touch her intimately before, but not without pulling away, or staying away from him for days after they’d been together. Until that one night.

Ian closed his eyes as gave himself to Kristina and she used his body boldly. He would let her have him any way she wanted—if only she would remember the love they had shared.

The thought of his sister recalling the night they pledged their hearts to each other had given his soul a purpose.

Kristina lay next to him smiling and that gave him hope. Did she realize she had stolen his heart forever? Ian had clung to the hope that his sister still cared about him. It gave him the will to believe he and Kristina would find their way back to each other.

Ian smiled at Kristina praying that what was happening between them now wasn’t a dream.

If it was, he hoped he’d never wake.

  Chapter 6

Ian laid his head beside Kristina, letting her run her red-tipped fingernails over his hard body.

How had she gotten so skillful at love play?

Why hadn’t she run again the instant she found him on the jet plane..?

Kristina dragged her lips to Ian’s chest and he drew in a sharp breath. His skin burned from his stepsister’s kisses. He tried to distract himself by thinking about how perfectly his plans to bring her here had worked.

First, she accepted his invitation. Then she let him reveal he would in fact woo her, and she hadn’t run away. When he’d gone to her book signing party unannounced, he thought she might let down her guard. Fate had be cold, but a life without his sister was unbearable, Ian realized.

Ian had thought about sharing this moment with his Kristina every night—and his dream to be with his stepsister again intimately finally had started to come true.

  ***

Kristina placed Ian’s large hands on her skirt. She let Ian ease the soft material down her white thighs and up and over her feet. He held her ankles in his hands then he planted little kisses on each toe.

Ian pressed his mouth to Kristina’s instep of her foot, then the other—he nipped Kristina’s feet from her toenails to her heels. Kristina wriggled as her brother massaged her legs, up one leg, and then to the other, as he neared her naked hips.

Her brother paused when he found her rump. Kristina peeked down to see where he was. Ian had stopped at her navel and he was staring at her lustily.

“You are a truly blonde,” Ian said softly.

Kristina glanced at Ian and suddenly she realized what he meant.

She had been so excited to meet with Finn Matthews, she had thrown on her clothes in a bag before they met. Kristina packed a bunch of items into her carryon but she forgot to raid her undergarment drawer. Finn will see I don’t have on any panties and I’ll tell him I was too happy I was going to see him, thought Kristina.

She’d hoped he’d get so hot discovering she was nude from the waist down he would ravish her on the spot!

Kristina never imagined she would end up with her stepbrother Ian instead.

  ***

Ian winked at Kristina and she threw her hands over her face, blushing. She knew she had flashed her own stepbrother with her naughty bits—and he wasn’t embarrassed in the slightest. Kristina felt her cheeks burn hot from shame.

“I didn’t know we would be doing this—.” Kristina whispered between her hands.

“Shh. It isn’t like we haven’t seen each other before.”

Ian lifted Kristina’s feet in his hands. He leaned back and he kissed the soles of Kristina’s feet. His thighs spread apart and he gave Kristina a naughty view.

Kristina’s eyes flew wide. Ian’s barely covered erection beckoned Kristina to free it from its confines. She longed to touch and hold him as she marveled at his impressive size.

“It’s okay I’m not wearing underwear?” Kristina said shyly

Ian gazed up at Kristina. “I would have tugged them off of you in a heartbeat.”

Ian trailed kisses over Kristina’s petite soles. She pulled one heel away and then her other one. Ian caught each foot while Kristina laughed. “That tickles.”

“Hold still, woman.” Her stepbrother went back to kissing the sensitive arch of her insteps making Kristina yelp and writhe.

Ian nudged his legs between Kristina’s
thighs and he folded himself on top of her. He removed his sister’s blouse, then he unclasped her bra, freeing her lush breasts. He bent his head then he tasted her areolae. Kristina’s nipples puckered from the wet suckles of Ian’s lips, making her purr passionately as he bit each tender peak.
