Trigger The Storm

Joey Patterson stood there watching as well.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” Lyle growled. “Why aren’t you on patrol?”

Joey shrugged his shoulders. “What is there to patrol? Everyone is locked up inside the school.”

Lyle stood up and facing Joey, he backhanded him.

Joey stumbled and stared in shock at the other man. “What did you do that for?” he whined and swiped at the blood on his lip.

“You will do what you’re told to do, until I tell you to do something else!” Lyle roared at him. “Do you understand that?”

Joey nodded. Rubbing his jaw he said, “I just thought now that the town is ours, we should be able to relax.”

“Who the fuck said you could think?” Lyle sneered. “You aren’t even part of this club yet. You are barely a prospect and as such, you will do what you are told and nothing more. Until you get that patch that says you belong, you’re nothing more than a bitch to us. Do you understand?”

  Joey nodded.

“Then get your skinny little ass back on your bike and get back on patrol before I kick your ass all over this town!” Lyle screamed at him.

Joey turned away and mumbling under his breath, he went over to his bike. Throwing one leg over the machine, he looked up to find Lyle standing right beside him.

“What did you just say?” Lyle growled.

Joey stared at the other man. “I said that’s not what you told me the other night when I told you who killed your brother.”

Lyle sneered. “And you think because you turned her in, you should receive special privileges, is that it? You think because you squealed on someone who would consider you a friend that makes everything all better?”

Joey made a face. “Georgia was never a friend of mine. She hung out with my brother and his friends but never with me. She always thought she was better than me.”

Lyle laughed. “You whiney, little fuckin brat, she was better than you. Nobody likes somebody that will turn on them. You’re nothing more than a rat and nobody likes a rat. You will be nothing more than a bitch til the day you die.”

Joey just stared at him for a moment. In that one moment, he seemed to realize what he’d done and for the first time in his young life, he made a mistake and it could cost him everything he thought he wanted, everything he thought should have been his. He never thought he’d done anything wrong before that moment. But looking into Lyle’s eyes he could see he was speaking the truth.

Joey revved his engine and backing away carefully, he tore down the street.

It was later in the day when Stone got a phone call from Shay. After the call, Stone went to Mountain and Hawk who were standing with the others. “Do you have a map of the area we can use?”

Hawk nodded. “What do you need it for?”

“Shay just called to tell me the SEALS are in the area. He said they would check out the rigs in the bay and keep an eye out for the Vipers. He wants to know if we can handle the Reapers and get the town back. He told me they would contact us when they were in place. I gave him our radio channel and asked who was in the water. He said it was Donny Hastings. He said Donny would let us know as soon as they were in position. Shay said they were there to guard the rigs and take hostages.”

Mountain, Hawk, Caine and the others all began to smile.

“Oh yeah, I think we can handle that.” Hawk grinned. “Let’s hope they can get hostages. Hostages like to talk. Maybe we can get some more inside information about what they plan to do in Washington.”

Mountain growled. “We know what they have planned for Washington.”

Stone shook his head. “We know what they want to happen, we don’t have a clue what they plan to do to get their mission done. Maybe their mission has changed somehow. All we know is what Trudy found on their website. We need to understand just how far these maniacs will go to finish what they started.”

“Would anyone mind if the Hell’s Fire Riders joined this little posse?” Dewey asked. “This is a menace right I our own back yard.”

“Several of us are snipers as well,” Caine admitted.

Mountain was about to welcome them into the group when Georgia came into the room. She looked shaken and pale. She gazed around the room almost as if she didn’t know where she was and didn’t recognize anyone standing there. The bruises on her face seemed darker as she stumbled across the room to where Mountain was sitting.

Georgia came up to Mountain and wrapped her arm around the bigger man. Tears were rolling down her cheeks. “Jason went back and found a place to spy on what was happening. He said Lyle gathered everyone and put them in lockdown inside the school.” She put her face in his chest and continued to cry. “They killed my father. They just shot him down in cold blood.” She buried her face in his chest. “Jason just texted me. He also confirmed that it was Joey who told Lyle about my shooting Greg. He said his brother was riding with the Reapers now.”

Mountain wrapped his big arms around her small body. “Oh, baby girl, I’m so sorry.”

Caine growled as he stared at the other man.

Mountain just glanced at him. Very carefully, he let Georgia go. He held the other man’s eyes and held up his arms a moment before he lowered them to his side.

Georgia raised her head and glared at Mountain. “When you guys go, I want to go along. I want to kill that little weasel Lyle. No one else can kill that bastard but me.”

Mountain nodded. “Stone, you call your men in. We’ll figure out a way to get inside the city and have a look around. We need eyes in there before we make our move. If we can catch them by surprise, the battle will be over before it’s begun and that way, less townspeople will get hurt. We’re only interested in taking out the Reapers.”

“With the roads blocked off that might not be so easy.” Hawk pointed out. “If we hope for the element of surprise, they can’t hear us coming.”

Stone ran his fingers through his hair and exhaled. “Yeah, that may not be so easy.”

“We can get close to the town by way of the water,” Georgia informed them. “There is an old dock that no one uses anymore, it’s down river of the main dock in the city limits that will give us cover of the woods. We can get close enough to see what’s going on and check out where everyone is at the same time.”

Everyone standing there just stared at her.

“And how do you know this?” Mountain finally asked.

Georgia looked determined. “The dock was built about fifteen years ago when Gary Meyers stopped around this area. He thought he was such a wonderful survivalist.”

Mountain grinned. “I remember that guy. He was a dipshit, that’s for sure.”

Georgia nodded. “He didn’t bother asking anyone who lived here about the proper place to put his dock.” She shook her head. “Old Pete and Darren tried to tell him he couldn’t put it there but Gary knew better. He assured them he knew more than they did.”

Mountain grinned. “Yeah, we heard all about the idiot all the way over in Sabine Pass.”

  “What happened?” Caine asked.

Hawk laughed out loud. “The damn fool put his dock right in the middle of a gator slide against all advice. Gators had been using that particular spot to get from the land into the water for a very long time. They tend to get territorial about what they consider their property. He put the dock in but the gators kept wrecking it. He must have put that damn thing up seven times before he finally gave up and moved on.” He turned his gaze to Georgia. “How did you know where it was?”

“I’ve been through those woods almost every day of my life. My mother and I used to go collect wild flowers and herbs when she was still alive. After she died, I used to hide out in those woods. When you’re different from everyone else, people tend to pick on you. Not having a mother in a small town makes you different especially when your mother is a murder victim. When they did that, I would go hunting. I guess that’s where I learned to shoot so well. I know every deer trail and wolf d
en around Jarrett. Jason and some other friends hang out there with me sometimes. We often hunt in those woods. Jason is going to be offline for a while, so he can try to get in closer. He’s going to try and find some friends to help him keep track of what’s going on.”

“Do you trust this guy?” Mountain asked. “I know you’re friends but his brother turned you in.”

Georgia smiled sadly. “Jason isn’t like his brother. I think the fact that Joey turned me in broke whatever brotherly tie that was left.”

“Can you show us on the map the back way into Jarrett?” Hawk asked.

Georgia nodded and walked over to a map. Several men gathered around her and she studied the map for a moment then showed them the way. “Here, if we come in by way of the gulf, we’re far enough away for them not to see us. There is a bend in the river bank we would have to traverse in order to be visible from the docking area in town. We can’t use outboard motors but we can use canoes. Canoes will be quieter. This dock is about a mile downstream from the bend and it’s hidden by overgrown brush. No one has used it in years, so it’s doubtful the Reapers even know it’s there.” She showed them how far from the town they would be. “The woods start at the water line and go for about a mile before you hit Jarrett. I have several high deer stands all over the place. They can give us a hiding spot in the trees. They can’t be seen from the ground.”

“Won’t the Reapers go through the woods looking for stragglers?” Hawk asked.

Georgia smirked. “I doubt they will even think about that. They aren’t the smartest group you’ve ever met.”

Caine agreed, “Yeah, they probably wouldn’t dream anyone would be there. They are dumb enough to think they have everyone in the town locked up.”

“Whatever,” Calico stated. “I want to be with the first group going in.”

Mountain looked over at the other man. Then he saw his man Reaper standing next to his brother. “You with us too, Reaper?”

Reaper nodded. “Our family is in there.”

  “Aaron as well?” Mountain asked.

Reaper shrugged. “I’m not sure where he is at the moment. Between him and Dad, I don’t know which would give them more trouble. Neither one will sit still for this shit.”

“Then let’s hope neither one gets shot before this is over.” Hawk growled.

Mountain looked around the room. “So how many of us are going in first round?”

Twenty five men raised their hands, including Georgia.

Mountain growled. He ran his fingers through his hair and glanced at Stone. “I think you should stay behind and work with your man Shay. We need to know what’s going on there.”

Stone nodded. “I can do that. But what about keeping in contact? How are we going to do that without a cell tower?”

“We’ll have to take a booster along and pray the signal is strong enough for messages to get through,” Mountain suggested. “If we can take the town back, we can get a temporary tower put back up as soon as possible.”

“We’ll also have to keep up the charade of the town being under siege. At least until the SEALS have the gulf under wraps,” Stone pointed out.

Mountain turned to Georgia. “When would the best time be to leave for Jarrett?”

“We want to get there under the cover of darkness. That will help us get set up in the woods. I want to check with Jason again, to let him know we’re coming.”

Caine shook his head. “I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

Georgia crossed her arms over her chest. “And why is that?”

Caine walked over to her. “Because no matter what you believe in here.” He touched her chest lightly. “It might not be true.” He shrugged. “Sometimes, the tie of being family is stronger than all that.”

Georgia closed her eyes. “I know you can’t believe in what I’m saying but Jason would never betray me. We’ve been friends since we were kids.” She took a deep breath and looked around the room at all their faces. “I won’t tell him we’re coming but you’re wrong. Jason would never give me up, he would never give you guys up either.” She then turned and went back down the hall to her room. The door closed softly but it sounded loud in the silence of the main room.

Caine ran his fingers through his hair. “Well, that didn’t go well did it?”

“It went better than I expected.” Mountain expelled a breath. Shaking his head, he had to grin. “You never know what that girl is gonna do next.”

Caine turned to glare at Mountain. “Do you think we can trust this Jason guy? Is he gonna do right by her or side with his brother?”

Mountain shrugged. “I only met the guy once, at Shadow Lake. He was there that day too. There were four men with Georgia that day and he was one of them. They were all stand up guys and she trusts them all with her life that much I do know.”

Hawk shook his head. “This is getting all fucked up.”

Caine looked down the hall at the closed door. He walked down the hall and went inside. Closing the door behind him, he stared at the woman lying on the bed. Pushing himself away from the door, he moved closer to the bed. Kicking off his shoes, he laid down behind her and pulled her into his arms.

Georgia didn’t fight him. Hot tears rolled down her face. When his arms came around her she snuggled into his embrace. “Why is it that I feel so safe in your arms?” she finally asked. “I did last night as well.”

“I would never let anything happen to you,” he whispered in her ear. His lips found her neck and dragged down her skin.

Georgia turned in his arms. Running her hands down his chest she asked, “Will you give me just a taste of you? I need something to take away the pain I’m feeling right now. I need to feel something other than despair, fear and loneness. I feel as if I’ve been alone in this world since my Mom died. Now I don’t even have my father anymore. The Reapers have taken everything away from me that ever meant anything. I just want to feel something.”

Caine smiled. “So you’re going to use me?” he whispered.

Georgia closed her eyes as she blushed. Nodding, she groaned when his lips found hers. The kiss took her breath away.

Caine groaned too. “Please use me.” He growled. “I can make you forget your pain, at least for a little while.”

  Chapter Seven

Caine began unbuttoning her shirt. His mouth pressed against hers and when she opened her lips, he swooped in. His tongue met hers and together, they dueled in the oldest battle known to man and woman.

Georgia groaned as the heat ramped up. She helped him pull her clothing off and soon, they were naked. She winced when she felt the bruises on her skin but when Caine would have stopped she begged him not to. His lips touched the flawed skin on her face but his touch was so light she didn’t feel it then his lips dragged down her throat sucking and nibbling as he made his way to her breasts. He licked her nipples then blew hot air on them as they budded painfully hard. Then his teeth closed around the darkened areola.

Georgia groaned and she bowed her back to feed her chest into his mouth. Caine’s hands soothed her as they made their way down to her thighs. She spread her legs wide to give him access to her sex. He slipped his hands down along her belly to her hot wet core.

Caine growled as his fingers found her slick heat. His lips crushed hers as his fingers pushed deep inside her body. Her wet heat made the blood rush to his cock and he couldn’t wait any longer to take her. He slid in between her legs and broke his hold on her lips. “Are you sure this is what you want?” he whispered. “Once I have you, you’re mine. I won’t give you back and I won’t let you go.”

“Yesss…” She groaned. “Please, take me, make me yours,” she begged.

Without any more delay, he surged into her. When she gasped in pain, he stopped. He was a big man but that’s not what hurt her, she was more than ready and willing to accept him. What hurt her was the thin barrier he broke when he surged inside her.

Caine closed his eyes and held still for a moment. Th
en he began to pull out.

“Please don’t stop,” she pleaded. “I want you so much, please don’t stop.”

Caine searched her eyes but could only find pleading in them “Are you sure? I didn’t know you were…”

Georgia nodded. “I want it and I wanted it to be you.”

He pushed back in and soon the pain was replaced by pleasure. She met each stroke with her hips and before long, she was spiraling out of control. “Please, oh lord, I’m so close.”

Caine felt her body responding and it ramped up his own release. He moaned as he pumped inside her. He rammed his hips harder and faster. Their skin slapped together echoing in the room. “Let go and fly with me.”

Georgia felt herself soaring as her body responded. Her pussy fluttered and then clamped down on him. Everything felt right in her world at that moment. The pain in her heart was gone and all she could feel was Caine inside her. She screamed into his mouth as the feelings washed over her. She felt him push deep one last time then she felt his release. Hot ropey cum flooded her insides. He ground his cock deep inside her and held it there until he finished. Sweat dripped from his forehead and splashed down on her chest.

Caine moved off to her side and Georgia closed her eyes in bliss. Pulling her close, he held her as their bodies’ cooled down and their heartbeats slowed back to normal. Brushing her hair off her neck, he kissed her from behind as he whispered, “You belong to me now. I’m claiming you.”

Georgia smiled. “I’m not exactly sure what that means but okay. I’m game. I’ve never met anyone like you before.”

Caine growled. “It means that you are my woman now. You belong to me and me alone. No other man will have you.”

Georgia turned in his arms. “But we just met. I don’t know anything about you and you don’t know anything about me. What if when this over, you don’t want me anymore or I don’t want you?”

“Too damn bad.” Caine grunted. “I told you before I claimed you, if we did this you were mine and I meant it.”
